One of the most important things MISSED. We stayed for three days and two nights. Booking the room was easy and the staff was very helpful with answering questions we had about the room details. Over all condition of the room, lobby, and general building is great. It was clean, put together nice, and modern to my liking. I hate feeling like I just moved in with my grandma and her old furniture. The pool was nice and I liked that it was outside. The other outside amenities are great. I would consider a family party at the bowery they have set it up nice with pool, grill, tables, and its on the East so you don't have to bake in the sun. My favorite part of this Hotel stay was the breakfast. They offered a hot breakfast with bacon, sausage, eggs, potatoes, lots of extras, and even an omelette order station. The ONE PROBLEM I had with our stay was the bed. It felt like it was 50 years old and was molded to the body of someone twice my size. My back, shoulders, and neck hurt both mornings when I woke up. If I stay here again I may just bring an air mattress. I would recommend this place with the warning of the bed. Again the breakfast was great.

The staff is super helpful. The hotel is very clean and quite. They have breakfast in the morning which was very good. It wasn't your typical hotel breakfast it was great. The rooms are large and so are the bathrooms. I'm glad I stayed here.

Great staff. Rooms are clean and spacious. I travel for business quite a bit and a comfortable bed is a big deal. Beds here are very comfortable! Try and get a room facing East to avoid highway noise (I believe room numbers ending in an even number are aligned with the highway side).

Stayed here while attending a convention. It's close enough to walk to the convention center if needed, and the room was very comfortable. Having a kitchen in the room is convenient if you don't want to have to way it every meal.

7

Nice, clean hotel with full kitchen amenities. Nice gym and super polite staff. My only complaint is that it's considered a "partial service" hotel which means they don't replace the room consumables (shampoo, coffee, toilet paper, etc) each day. They will provide anything you need, just need to swing by the front desk for it.

I don't usually review chain hotels, but Hyatt House will be my top choice after my most recent stay. The staff was so friendly and intuitive, gave us business travelers some space between our rooms so we didn't feel like we were right next to each other. The room was beautifully appointed, the kitchenette had everything, dishes, cutlery, an ice maker, bottle opener, even a glass water jug to fill and keep in the large fridge. The only thing I couldn't find were scissors. The bathroom had shelves and even a really useful cubby in the closet to put stuff away in. You could borrow a white noise machine and even an oil diffuser and hair straightener. The couch was huge and comfy. The TV swivels 180 degrees so you could watch from bed. The shower had a little shelf/ seat, great for shaving. Gym, office area, pool, restaurant/ bar with patio. The breakfast was very nice, I really enjoyed the made to order omelet. The room was only missing usb ports, but you can borrow a charger as well. A+ in my book.

We stayed here one night for our daughter's birthday and were highly impressed. The staff were very friendly and amazingly accommodating. The arranged for a cake, candles and flours in her favorite colors. Everything was in good condition and cleaned well. Probably the nicest hotel I have ever stayed at and definitely not the most expensive. I plan on requesting a Hyatt the next time I travel for business.

Great hotel for the price point. The suite my wife and I shared was clean and spacious. Then bed was comfortable. The kitchenette had everything necessary for a nice extended stay. The staff was friendly as well. This hotel gets my recommendation & seal of approval, whatever that may be worth..

The continental breakfast was great. The options included eggs, pancakes, French toast, fresh fruit, yogurt, Oatmeal, cereals, fruit juice, milk, coffee and fresh omelets. The room was clean, shower was large. It was an efficiency so there was a refrigerator, stove, all the necessary utensils and pots and pans. Overall, very nice.

Nice and quiet! The pool is under renovation at the moment so I can't review that, but the rooms are nice. The tv's here are moderate. They have xfinity cable, but no on demand. The breakfast buffet is awesome. Overall 8/10

I am a Hyatt, globalist member, we love this hotel chain and have always been treated great with upgrades etc. Very family friendly along with pet friendly. The only issue I have ever had was with the centric Hyatt in park city, we used to spend about a couple days a month there and loved it. They made a change in management and the assistant manager decided our loyalty meant nothing and had the "go stay somewhere else" attitude. So, thats what we do. I would not recommend the centric, but, definatly love the rest of the hotel chain so they do get my money either way. I think you will enjoy any that I mentioned and just caution you on the centric, VERY expensive with very poor service.

Had reservation problems and key card problems. Hotels.com and Hyatt need to get their act together. Breakfast was good, though and room was nice. Not convinced room was worth the cost.

So so stay. Road noise was loud, and rooms couldn't be darkened. Suites are affordable but basic. Suites are also clean, just don't expect a full night's sleep unless you're a heavy sleeper.

The Hyatt House in Sandy is the only Hyatt that I like. There are lots of reasons, but the primary reason is because of the layout of the suite rooms. (And they are sweet). :) The room has a kitchen setup, a sofa that faces the TV - but then the TV Swivels towards the bed... so you can lay in bed while you are watching TV too! What kills me is that other Hyatt's have not followed suit to create more suites like this. I have stayed at all of the Hyatt's around Salt Lake Valley, and this one exceeds expectations every time. Their breakfast is wonderful, the pool is excellent, their work out facilities are fantastic. And they are in a great location for all the shopping you could ever do.

Great place to stay. Clean rooms, great staff, a lot of fantastic accommodations, reasonably priced(even the alcoholic beverages). I had a harder time sleeping with the noise from neighboring I15, but that is to be expected with the location. I will stay here again.

If I could give it 10 stars I would. Stayed here July 14-16 2017. It is so clean, so comfortable, and couldn't find anything that needed to be improved on.
Just booked another stay for this weekend. This will be our go to place when coming to the valley from our home 120 miles away.
Thank you Hyatt House for our " home away from home".

Room was great! Clean, comfortable and large. Staff downstairs seemed understaffed. Food took 45 minutes to receive and came out 1 at a time with delays between food for each person. Last person at the table had their food comped as we were late getting to our event. Other minor issues. Phone rang several times before answering, no one to bring blankets time the room, difficulty figuring out room extension and key issue. Nothing serious but it seemed that more staff would have elevated problems.

Our family stayed in a suite. The rooms were well cleaned and spacious. The beds were comfortable. There was a queen bed in each room. The kitchen was spacious with cookware, plates, forks, cups, a full fridge, a microwave, as well as an oven and stove. The complimentary breakfast had lots of options and was delicious. The staff was courteous and helpful. There was a TV in each bedroom and also one in the living room. The living room had a pull out bed in the couch. The pool was warm and clean. We very much enjoyed our stay here.

We stayed in the one room suite. It had a separate bedroom with a larger than normal bathroom and a really nice oversized shower. There was also a kitchen area with a full size fridge and freezer, a two burner stove, a sink and dishwasher, and a small kitchen table. A basic set of glassware and utensils was also provided. There's also a small den area with a couch and pull out bed. There's a TV in the den and one in the bedroom. The hotel seems relatively new. There's also an outdoor pool and hot tub. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Overall a very nice place to stay.

Very nice mid priced hotel in an odd neighborhood. The entire staff was very friendly. The room was spacious and well equipped for business travelers. The pool and hot tub were perfect (there is even a restroom in the pool area).
We really enjoyed having breakfast here. The omelet chef made one of the best omelets I've ever had. Not sure that I'll ever be back in SLC, but this hotel is great!

7

Nice rooms, maybe a bit cramped for what they try to pack into them but certainly space enough for one person. Staff were all nice and agreeable, breakfast was better than average. Only downside is the location, it's right up against the freeway, but somehow not easily accessed from the freeway. Still get the noise without the convenience. Also probably a bit pricey for what it is, but not overly so. Would stay again if given the opportunity.

This use to be my favorite hotel in sandy. I would stay there several times a month. The location is ideal and the rooms are huge. But lately I find myself finding other places to stay because this Hyatt is no longer well maintained, yet the price keeps going up.

And forget about staying here in the summer. A couple years ago they installed sensors on all the AC units and it makes for a miserable nights sleep in the hot hot summer months. Basically when the AC sensor senses no movement it shuts off the AC completely off and you wake up in a sweaty mess. You have to constantly wake up and stand up so the AC senses movement and will kick back on.

Also, breakfast was always a hit here. They have made to order omelets but the last few times I've been there it takes 45 minutes to get your omelet once you order it. Not very convenient.

Overall, Hyatt's are still the best place to stay, just not this location. Or any of the locations that have a sensor on the AC. I think most Hyatt's are going that direction.

Clean, large rooms. Friendly staff. Good breakfast options including made-to-order omelettes. Exercise room and small pool.

Only drawback is that it's right on the highway. Rooms facing the highway can hear the road noise, but it isn't bad. That wouldn't stop me from staying there again. Based on all other factors I would stay here again.

While the breakfast-bar eggs are as usual - the rest of the available options were satisfactory.

The studio-apartment style of the rooms are my favorite of all time.

I stayed for 4 nights 5 days and felt extremely taken care of. Could not recommend this any more.

Location is nice, at tops a 20 minute drive to the slopes but usually around 14 mins. The room is nice and the pullout is comfortable but I wish they gave more covers instead of one sheet. The shower is big but it leaves less room for other things in the bathroom, and the bathroom door is only slide out with no locking mechanism. These are more nitpicking things, as the Saturday has been enjoyable, especially in regards to the complimentary breakfast, it's selection and quality goes above what I expected. Would stay here again if needing another place close to snowbird resort.

Great suite style rooms standard. A great complimentary breakfast. Heat outdoor pool and hot tub in the courtyard. The shuttle service was able to get us the the ski bus to Alta/Snowbird in the morning. Great alternative to staying at the resorts.

They have rooms big enough for our family plus the employees are all very kind and helpful. A lot of times when you check into a hotel with lots of kids you are treated as a problem from the get go. That is not the case here. They gave us excellent customer service and treated our kids very well. It is super convenient to have breakfast at the hotel each morning before you venture out for the day. We go to Utah a lot as our families live there, this was our second time staying at this hotel and we will stay there again!

10

Or recent stay was my second time in a year, that we stayed at Hyatt House. This latest time just had me realize how hard Hyatt works to make sure your stay feels really personal, and feels like your own little home.

The TVs are not locked down and controlled with special rules like most hotels, the Internet is not locked down and controlled by special rules like most hotels; there are quite a few ethernet ports around the room. The sitting spaces are comfortable and stylish, the beds are really comfy. The utilities provided are really nice, if you wanted to do any cooking during your stay.

I am just really impressed that such a good stay could be so cheap... My last stay was $108 a night for a King Suite. Just awesome!!

My husband and I love staying at this Hyatt House. It is beautiful and there is great service. Their lobby is currently under construction but should be done in a week. Because of the construction, the provided breakfast was a let down. But besides that, our stay has been great!

The location was great. Very close to the South Town Expo Center. The rooms were great. Full sized fridge, full kitchen, living room and king sized bed. The only problem I had was the bed. It was not comfortable at all and it slanted to one side. The breakfast was great too.

Great hotel. Yummy breakfast choices. Unique room design. They do this fun thing where you can borrow stuff like movies, board games, and other cool things for free. The location is very convenient to the I-15. It is one mile from Rio Tinto stadium. The rooms are very clean and spacious. Their is a television that rotates between an area with a couch and the area with the bed. The room has a large refrigerator and cooking area. The bed is very comfortable. A very clean bathroom and shower. The breakfast is very good, both hot breakfast and a variety of fruits, cereal, etc. It is a great hotel experience.

7

Overall it was a pretty good stay. I was only there for one night, and was put on the first floor. We were able to check in about 45 minutes before the scheduled time, which was very helpful since we didn't really have anywhere else to go until later. Being on the first floor worked out for me, I would just mention that whatever was above us occasionally made really loud noises like something heavy being set down quickly. Breakfast in the morning was great, and the property was clean and the staff was friendly. I would definitely stay here again, I really do like the Hyatt House chain as well. Rooms were clean, bathroom had enough space in it and although I didn't need or use the closet, it was nice to see a rod and additional shelving in there for those extended stay guests. There isn't a great deal to walk to from this hotel for food etc. But it is not far in a car. Would recommend this hotel!

Loved the room got it for a killer rate. Best part was the staff, we had a family emergency and had to leave two days early. The staff advocated for us and got the other two nights refunded, even when we had purchased the reservation through a third party. That is going above and beyond!
