Property's Green Action

To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. With all sister hotels, we have already planted three million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the United Nations. The last but not the least, we engage our partners and suppliers in their sustainable development strategy and integrate them into the responsibility chain.

Certifications

Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

Excellent budget hotel. Of course the rooms are small, but everything was clean and the breakfast spread was well worth the money. Service was always friendly and easy to find.

The location is great, lot of things around and lot of bus / metro stations to get anywhere.
The hotel has been renovated, the rooms are very nice and cozy. just a few things- no refrigerator or safe, plus, some rooms are still on renovation, therefore some noise of instruction begins around 09:30 and ends around 18:00.
The entrance to the hotel is very impressive, also the breakfast was rich in comparison with other hotels we stayed before around France.

The last line- we recommend you to stay in the hotel. everything they did there really improved the conditions.

Staff are amazingly polite and friendly. Rooms are small but ok. Good public areas with sofas, and pleasant outdoor bar cafe. Food was good, drinks relatively inexpensive 3€ for a large coffee, 11€ for a huge plate of cheeses with bread, enough for two. Online early booking makes this place very inexpensive. Recommended.

Comment ONLY valid for Lobby and staff, not the rooms: I stayed here a few days for remote work. Very nice and calm infrastructures, perfect for workers and chilling in the bar. Very good free WiFi connection. The staff is young, very welcoming and always happy to support you. The restaurant is at good level of price and quality. Thank you!!! Decoration is pleasant, a plus.

Friendly staff, nice that there's a bar and restaurant in situ. The only problem I had was that my room was opposite the lift, which made a lot of noise each time its did opened. They should reduce the time off the lift

This is a nice place to stay. Staff is friendly and helpful. Rooms are clean but a bit small. I gave it a three because of the size of the room.

Fernando at reception was great to deal with. This Ibis is clean, centrally located close to the Marais (15 minute walk) and close to Notre Dame. Unlike a few other districts, there are alot of local restaurants where you can get affordable but delicious food, and you will feel safe here late at night.

Neat and tidy, but with very small rooms and toilets. The breakfast buffet was a disaster for me as a vegan. Coffee and bread basically. The only reason I give it a 3 is because of the hotel's nice outdoor seating.

This hotel is in a great location and had great rates. -1 star because the rooms are nothing special and a little bit grimy. Otherwise it's a breeze to get around the city from here even using public transit it walking. There are restaurants and grocery stores very close for quick trips.

Hotel room was really small! The small bathroom heating wasn’t working properly, and cleaners didn’t do a proper job (didn’t have soap refilled, cups they gave were cracked, got pieces of their gloves in the bathroom, only 2 towels were provided) room service isn’t 24h! But location was pretty good (close to many restaurants and metro station and supermarket right behind the hotel)

Stayed here for 3 days. Room was small but clean and the breakfast was nice as well. Would maybe advice to have more international Channels on the TV. And to maybe redo some work in the bathrooms, because there was some mold. Overall we had a pleasant stay. The location is ideal.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

We love staying at this Ibis. We like the neighborhood and it is very convenient to the metro. Parking in the basement is very easy. The staff is always friendly and helpful. The rooms are small but typical Ibis as expected. Internet, TV and AC all work well. You will not find a fridge, tea/coffee pot or a safe in the rooms. The bed is comfortable but we always have to remove the duvet cover as it gets too warm. The shower (no bath) works okay but it is small and easily spews water on the floor if the shower head is pointed toward the interlocking doors (poor design). The room was clean. It is the perfect place to stay if you simply want a functional room and the price is good. If you want a romantic boutique hotel, this is not the place to stay and you will most likely pay twice the price. Check in and out are very easy. This Ibis recently renovated their lobby to make for a more open look. It was not necessary but perhaps the hotel wanted a new look. This is our go to hotel in Paris and we can only hope that it continues with the same price and quality. Management must be doing something right.

If constant noise companion is what you are seeking, then this Ibis is great. The cafe garden is open until pass midnight and then the wanderers can stay even after that....last night/this morning the chatting continued until 03:25 AM.
If you are looking for spores or dust samples, this Ibis would also be an excellent choice. The a/c vent in room # 142 is preserved with dust and multiple samples of virus culture (I am sure). If that's not enough, the event from the bathroom should also offer additional selections. Not only that, more samples can be scrapped off the window surroundings in the bathroom.
The hotel room which I have stayed in is actually very "lively" !!
Only reason I am giving them 2-stars is because of the location. Don't be misled. The stars have nothing to do with the quality of the room.

Positive:

a) The price was competitive and the result was good value for money.
b) The hotel is in an excellent location and it is a safe area. There are a few metro stations nearby.
c) The room was a good size. The bedroom and the bathroom were laid out very.
d) The staff were friendly and helpful.
e) The lobby is very attractive.

Negatives:

a) The area is very noisy - there are a lot of people socialising outside in bars, restaurants and cafes.
b) The room can be too hot - and the air con does not operate as much as it should - considering it is run through a thermostat.
c) There is no safe in the room.
d) The bathroom is a good layout but very small. It is difficult to move around inside the bathroom.
e) There is no coffee or tea making facilities in the room.

Location is very good. The rooms are basic but clean, but didn't seem to match the pictures seen on the web. Not a problem, just an observation. Staff are friendly and helpful. Service in the restaurant/bar is friendly but a little slow. There is a pleasant terrace for outdoor eating and drinking. Overall, a positive experience.

6

An okay hotel experience for the price. The rooms were roomy enough, even though the shower and bathroom are very small.

Nice reception downstairs, with a beautiful lobby. The reason for the 3 star rating however is the breakfast. For 10 euros you only get bread, butter, eggs, and some pancakes. Not enough value here to justify the 10 euro price. More like 4 euros worth of breakfast.

Overall though, a decent hotel at very good prices.

Booked as a cheap option for three nights in Paris. Was a good location, very close to a couple of metro stations. Reception, bar & restaurant area was excellent, recently refurbished and looked very modern and inviting.
Upper floors where bedrooms were have not been refurbished and are quite dated. Room was very small but clean. An iron would have been useful.
Bar was excellent, food and service in the restaurant was only ok - as a foreign guest in a hotel it would have been nice to have more food options and an easier ordering experience for non-native speakers (I wouldn't expect this in the city generally but would have been handy in a chain hotel).

The location was great, close to bus stops and train stations. The hotel itself could use some improvements, rooms have no closet space or space for luggage. The shower in my room had pieces missing and the shower door was missing a seal so the floor always got soaking wet. The air conditioning unit did not work very well, but worked enough on the real hot days. There was a leak in the hallway, so a big stain on the floor and water everyday. The towels are thin and small, but the bed and bedding was okay. People did not understand a lot of English so checking out a day early was not easy. But if you want to try to keep cost down and not mind an average hotel stay then this place will meet your needs. No place to wash and dry clothes in the room or the hotel. Did find a laundromat close by to do laundry.

This was a hot week in Paris with temperatures hitting 41. Keeping the blinds close all day and the a/c on managed to keep the temperature generally comfortable all night. Bed excellent, bathroom clean and functional, but glad neither of us is large! The breakfasts were excellent and the cooling cucumber/lemon water available on arrival back at the hotel after a day out in Paris very welcome. Although there are extensive works going on in the hotel we were not inconvenienced at all. The bar is the most convivial we have experienced in an Ibis, although they managed to run out of beer on one night - fortunately there is an excellent beer joint directly across the road! The restaurant fare was good and not expensive and the hotel has plenty of good restaurants around it.

A great location - quiet but close to the city centre with lively bars, cafés and a Sunday market nearby. Paris was very hot so we appreciated the air conditioning in the room and the shady ground floor courtyard. Great selection of breads, cheeses and coffees for breakfast. Friendly staff - barmen Romain and Henri added to the holiday experience! Look forward to returning when the renovation works are completed.

It was small, central location, not a hotel room I'm use to.
Under the beds looked it had never been cleaned.
The service was abrupt and short; the staff were dressed very sloppy.

The location is perfect. It is a 5-min walk from the popular square of Bastille, where there are many small nice cafes and bars, where you can really feel like in Paris.
The bed is so nice and comfy, with many types of pillows to choose from.
The room is a bit small, but fine for usual business traveler (like myself), who needs a clean nice room to sleep.

What really i did not like in the hotel, was my experience during check-out. The employee was not friendly, and she seemed like happy to see me leave (not in words, but just seemed like not interested).

Another point is the storage of luggage after check-out. Most hotels keep your luggage for free. It was a bit annoying to pay (2€) to store my luggage for a couple of hours. Do not get me wrong. I know that 2€ is nothing for me, but it is also annoying that you ask for (2€) after I spent more than a 100€ per night for the hotel, especially for a service that is commonly offered for free at most hotels.
It is about the feeling not the value of the service.

Although I liked the private lockers, which made me feel safe about my belongings.
