Property's Green Action

To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. With all sister hotels, we have already planted three million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the United Nations. The last but not the least, we engage our partners and suppliers in their sustainable development strategy and integrate them into the responsibility chain.

Certifications

Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

Ok place, lovely staff and food. Better choices out side as more local restaurants and more choices available. You pay extra for the gym facilities but also comes with a swimming pool & sauna .

The hotel is adequate, the rooms are very basic with no drinks or coffee making facilities. Only two difficult to find power sockets and a fairly limited continental breakfast. Bed is on the firm side but was comfortable enough.

I liked this hotel very much. Rooms were clean. Linens , towels were clean too. I enjoyed their breakfast and the lobby is a treat to eyes. Clicked many photos there and the staff were extremely helpful. I am addicted to tea, so it will be great if they keep an electric kettle and complementary water bottles in the room. Over all it’s a very good experience and I will stay here again.

Clean room and bathroom, comfy beds. You have to pay for use of pool. 5€ per person per day. Parking is €20 per 24 hrs. Breakfast 10€ per day per person. When we booked we were under the impression it was included. That's why only 3 stars!

Stayed here for two nights and was overall a good stay.

Its similar to its Ibis Amsterdam sister but is lacking in charm and polish that that hotel has.

There are 3 banks of elevators and their always slow, overcrowded and 2 out of 3 were not working which was a major pain.

My room was well appointed with modern furnishings but very cramped.

The beds were so close to the wall I had to lift my suitcase up and over the beds to get by.

The room also lacked coffee/tea making facilities. This was remedied by a vending machine in the lobby that made serviceable coffee and hot drinks.

The bathroom, well nice, was so small I had to enter the shower to shut the door behind me or use the toilet.

The area of town didn't feel the most safe either and the street access is decorated with copious graffiti from delinquents.

Definitely not the worst hotel I have stayed at, but its far from leaving a favorable memory from my time in Paris.

Stayed this hotel for 2 nights and was very impressed with the room and the hotel.

My only complaints here were that the rooms and internal bathrooms seemed a bit small.

In the room you cant roll a suitcase between the end of the bed and the wall, which also in turn makes walking through the room a bit of a task., In the bathroom its a game of hide and seek! To get to the toilet you have to climb into the shower to close the door to get to the toilet and then the same to get out!

My favourite part of this hotel was the breakfast. A truly delicious feast of buffet. Pastries, cheeses, meats, yogurts, fruits and crepes made for a delicious breakfast.

There is also a few supermarkets within a 3 minute walk from the hotel which is very convenient.

This hotel gets a 3-star rating on the staff's merits only. This place without the staff gets 1.5 stars. The Bad: My room smelled like sewage, the elevator to access the hotel from the road did not work. My 70 year old mother had to go up and down the stairs everytime we left. The rooms were like college dorm rooms. No frills, not even a shower door. Pay for fitness and pool, just not ideal for upscale travel. The good: Close to trains and walking distance to more upscale Paris, the lobby atmosphere was very nice. Would stay here if I was on a budget and without kids, otherwise find somewhere better.

Very helpful staff on reception. Nice spacious car park, which costs €20 per 24 hours. Room comfortable although shower room very small, thank goodness we are fairly slim otherwise we would have struggled to get passed the door. Breakfast nice. Location handy for metro and peripherique but not exactly upmarket. I would recommend this hotel and may stay again if in the area.

Good facilities and great location. But very basic rooms. You get what you pay for. 4 stars because they have a swimming pool although you have to pay €5 to use it.

Located in the beautiful city of Paris. My experience on this wet and cold day , very early in the new year with so much to explore before I get back to London is still pleasant. I sure need another trip here to explore much more of it.

Many rooms are of very small in size, especially in twin beds category. Be specific about room size. No refreshments and min bar inside the room. Below average breakfast :(
Positive opinion is only on ambiance

I was recently in Paris and I am staying at this hotel, it is out of the bustle and at an accessible distance to historical monuments. The only thing that made me uncomfortable was the restaurant manager's treatment of me and others who participated in a dinner after a long day.

8

I loved that they had the option of a room that had a double bed and 2 singles with a door between. It was perfect for our family of 4. The restaurant was a lifesaver too--hey, I love eating in a good Paris restaurant but it was great to have a laid-back buffet just downstairs so my kids could eat and go to bed after a long day of sightseeing. AND there's a foosball table. I'm planning on coming back.

7

It is good in many ways, but there are always little problems which take away the perfect joy... Really good thing: the bed! But not so good that I was denied breakfast because in the computer it was showing that breakfast had not been paid; I left the Restaurant terribly embarrassed and disturbed... not good! I missed two breakfasts before it occurred to me to check with the Reception; the lady said she'd fix it but that does not take away the shame I felt when I was denied breakfast

I have been coming here for the last 6 years every time I visit Paris. They always changed something.... this year the crew is a lot more friendly then it used to be. Rooms are fine, not great. It can be a bit noisy outside because of traffic. But... what else do you aspect in a big city? Metro on walking distance. Actually everything in this hotel is fine, but it could be slightly better (it's all in the details). That's why 4 stars and not 5

Hard to find, poked away in a side street. Rooms are tiny. Some toilet doors didn't close and others jammed shut locking you in. Breakfast is expensive for what it is. Wifi is super-fast, so it's easy steam a film. Staff are friendly but overwhelmed. Too many things wrong to give it another star which is what it really deserves.

Great wifi and very clean. My room was very small and was a tight fit for two people. For the price, it's understand and still well worth it. It just takes some getting used to.

The hotel is clean and facilities are satisfactory. Staff helpful. The hotel is not in the immediate center of Paris, making the shops/restaurants nearby more affordable. The metro is only ten minutes away on foot.

The staff at the hotel were very friendly and helpful. The rooms were clean and tidy and the beds comfortable. The shower was good, too.

There was plenty of choice at breakfast and kept us filled until our evening meal.

The only thing missing was tea and coffee making facilities in the room. It would have been nice to make a cup of tea on returning to the room.

Only one little niggle... We left our towels on the rail to indicate that we were happy to use them another day, however these were changed every day. Just seems to defeat the point of asking us to do this to help the environment if they're going to ignore the request.

8

Very small room with no tea/coffee making facilities which was disappointing. Check in and out was very good and efficient. I booked this room due to it having a pool, however I never got to use it as when I went there they tried to charge me even though I have membership with Accor, eventually I was told that I could no longer use the pool as it was too late in the evening (8:30pm) even though another guest was allowed in. Even with this exception I was happy there, restaurant staff were very accomodating and professional. Its in a decent location too. Found the hotel as a whole to be clean and comfortable. I would consider this as an option again as the pool experience is just part of travelling.

Room was very small, but you get what you pay for, it was good though. Nice and clean, very comfortable beds. Bathroom was very tight but clean. There was a shortage of towels. One of the floor boards were broken and lifted off the floor. Only 1 power plug in the room. Got the room for a bargain price and was only used to wash and sleep in so I am very happy with my stay and would recommend.

The staff were very friendly & helpful, from 1st email communication to check out they went out of their way to help. Yes rooms are small but they are clean & funcional. No tea or coffee making facilities which I knew in advance so took my own. Breakfast was really lovely, lots of choice, very fresh & varied. Parking was a mare to find the entrance but found it eventually, its very secure with large spaces

The beds are soft yet supportive. The hotel is quiet and the staff friendly.

The hotel however can do with better hairdryers and updated towels. The TV in the twin rooms are in an awkward position making access to the closet difficult.

Overall it was a pleasant experience.

A pretty spacious place with nice staff who are happy to help. Nice rooms although the bathrooms are really small it still has an aspect of luxury. The breakfast is amazing although a little bit more of variety might help it still was an enjoyable time with my family. It was a little bit hard to find the exact location of the hotel (5-10 min) a bigger sign in a more noticeable place might help many visitors get to the hotel much faster. Overall, it was a nice experience 4 out 5 stars.👍

This hotel met all of our needs while we were in Paris and we were very comfortable during our stay. The air-conditioning and water pressure are both good and all the staff are multi-lingual, so they can speak English but they're more than happy to let you try your French. Only having one outlet in the room wasn't great, and the room itself wasn't roomy but for all the other amenities for such a reasonable price that was easily forgiven.

Hotel was very well located and was clean and presentable and room adequate for a short break. Car parking is secure but a little expensive for paying guests. We had several problems with our room card key but the receptionists happily re-programmed and replaced them
Only negative from our point of view was that at the time of our stay there were two large parties of tennis and rugby players which meant at times reception was full of these parties hanging around and the bar was too busy and at breakfast coffee, juice and breakfast items ran out
We would go back despite this but the hotel perhaps could have been a bit more organised when accommodating such large parties

Dear Ibis Team,
Even though my Agent(MakeMyTrip) messed up my booking, Ibis Manager and Staff at Paris were extremely helpful in giving us an upgrade for my Children. If you had not helped our vacation would have been ruined and miserable. Thank You so much !!! Next vacation it will be Ibis for us ... :-)
Our overall experience was fantastic !!!

This hotel was amazing. I was an American traveling abroad to Paris to stay for the month of December. I speak French fluently and had no issues with any of the staff. The room wasn't very big, but then again I had no desire to be in my room for anything more than sleep. The buffet style breakfasts were amazing and the Fitness center was nice. Do not expect the fitness center to compare to those in the United States! It was nice but small and lacking in anything too heavy. The location was perfect and safe too. Just a few blocks from the metro.

Everything was as expected. Clean, working. Free WiFi a bonus. Breakfast is good. The reason for only 3 stars - the pool and gym was advertised, but only to find it is €5 per person per session extra. They were not upfront with this information. I dislike it when something is advertised, but not explicitly upfront about the extra cost.

The employees are very kind and ready to solve any problem you'll have. The place is clean and the bedrooms are also very clean and pretty. The continental breakfast is huge and the food is very good. It also has a swimming pool but I didn't try it out because I wasn't interested. The overall impression is that this hotel is above the 3 star rating it has.

OK.. the rooms may be a little shabby, the standard somewhere between a Travelodge and a Premier Inn, and the twin single room my boys (12 and 13) shared was really quite small, the hotel would benefit from a refit and my room for the 1st night was next to a lift shaft and quite noisy, BUT comfortable beds and ... the staff were all lovely. Really pleasant, helpful, they moved me to a much quieter room immediately with no fuss at all. They seem to all be multilingual, and have been very kind and nice to the children. The hotel has 3 different restaurants - the first night we had Pizza, which got the thumbs up from the boys, the second resaurant we tried there was a massive eat as much as you can buffet with mains (3 different meat dishes and fish included, with rice, potatoes 3 different ways), salads of all sorts and a good variety of desserts. The boys liked this so much they insisted on going back a second time the next day, and found they had changed all the dishes but they were all just as good. They did manage to try a lot of different things but still consumed loads of chips! There is also a gym, and best of all as far as the children were concerned, a fair sized swimming pool, not too busy, with loads of floats and toys, a jacuzzi, sauna and steam room. I lost them in there for 3 hours one afternoon and got some peace and quiet - age 12 and up can go unattended!

We enjoyed our stay here and would come again, but hope the rooms have been spruced up a bit by then.

I was there Feb 11 - 15, 2015, a most friendly staff on the desk, in the cafe, breakfast buffet, all over!
I was instructed how to catch the local bus to move around town and they were helpful with
every question we had. The room was neat and clean.

I would recommend to anyone traveling to the area. An excellent hotel with great rates posted,
although my stay was part of a package! Love the facility. Beautiful ...

August-2014, I stopped at this hotel for 5 nights, generally busy well equipped for both business and leisure comunnities. Likes: safe car park facility, breakfast, wifi and within easy reach of all major attractions; Dislikes: room decor seemed out of date, on one occassion not enough towels were provided for 4 members of my family and tried contacting reception for approximately 30 mins without much luck, despite this I would score this hotel on high side of my likes as overall I enjoyed my stay here.
