Property's Green Action

To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. With all sister hotels, we have already planted three million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the United Nations. The last but not the least, we engage our partners and suppliers in their sustainable development strategy and integrate them into the responsibility chain.

Certifications

Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

We were only in Paris for one night so we chose this hotel because of its location and price and it turned out to be a good choice.

The room was as you'd expect for an Ibis hotel but the outstanding feature were the staff. Friendly and helpful even when we checked in in the middle of the night.

We had the apartment + 2 rooms. Everyone was pleased especially for the price we paid. Apartment was great for groups of families. Location was very good too, not too far from Gare Du Nord and the main Paris attractions. Loads of local shops for food and veg. Staff were ok but we didn’t interact with them enough to warrant a review of them. All in all everything was good!

We were pleasantly surprised when we saw our rooms, we stayed in room 701(2 bedroom apartment, completely with roof top terrace and fully functioning kitchen) it was clean, spacious, the staff were friendly and the price was fair. Thank you Hotel Ibis for making our stay feel so comfortable!!

5

Serviceable hotel. Nothing to write home about: bare bones room, shower with basic soap/shampoo mix. Has the important advantage of being relatively cheap for a central Paris hotel

The staff is really nice. But the rooms are small, even for two people. If you're alone, this place is great. Bathrooms need more towels.

Little clustered but you will probably want to see Paris so it doesn't matter. Clean though and very polite receptionist and staff.

Location is very close to tourists sightseeing spots. Convenient stores are accessible and many restaurants are close by the hotel. Rooms are very neat and clean. Staff are friendly and mostly speaks eanglish and french. I only wish that they make the fridge accessible at the cafe/eating area instead of being locked up or hidden.

Located a few minutes walk from Le Petelier station, this basic but functional hotel is ideal for an overnight sightseeing stop. We had a double and a triple on the 3rd floor. There is an elevator and 24 hour cover at reception. The the beds were comfortable and the water was hot. As said, it's basic, but it's clean and welcoming. A nice bolongerie is located opposite (next to the Costa Coffee).
