Property's Green Action

To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. With all sister hotels, we have already planted three million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the United Nations. The last but not the least, we engage our partners and suppliers in their sustainable development strategy and integrate them into the responsibility chain.

Certifications

Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

Clean Beautiful hotel by the Riverside. Only drawback is the car parking. It's €18 per night for car park. I recommend use back road to park as it's free after 6pm. Staff was helpful and location was very nice. Reasonable priced.

Centrally located and the staff are very helpful. Breakfast spread is good when you compare what other hotels in Paris offer you for the price they charge.

I think if you have been to Paris before and stayed in a average hotel you know that you can't expect too much. Room here was small but actually enough because you don't spend so much time inside. Bathroom I must say was very little. No space to turn around and it was very smelly. And to be honest I did not have the feeling that it got cleaned so well. Good was okay. Big variety and tasted fresh. Staff was friendly and always happy to help. I think it's not fair to compare to German standards. But for the money be paid for 3 nights you stay in Germany 5 and much better quality.

Nice place just fe or sleeping. Reception were nice and helpful, but room was super small, also we had some loud neighbors and kids running around almost all day. Was super annoying and not the best experience I would say. The place is direct on spree so there is a good potential for good room view. It’s kinda between two stations and easily accessible too. There is good food places on the other side of spree for breakfast and lunch options too.

This Ibis is in a great area. On the river with plenty of eating places either side. The weather from 23rd July to 27th July was extremely hot but the room was not unbearable. Admittedly the air con wasn't great but with a small window in shower room and large window in bedroom was able to get air through. The rooms aren't huge but plenty big enough for my friend and I and you soon learn to manouvour in the bathroom! Bed very comfortable and sheets /towels changed daily. The continental breakfast was more than adequate, with plenty of self service choice. In the evening choose where to eat or go like the locals, buy meats, cheeses and a bottle of wine and sit by the river enjoying the ambiance. We didn't explore further than the marina at the end where there is s fabulous fish restaurant. I was part of Northampton RockChoir, 1 of 122 so we were bused out daily and it was about 20 mins by bus to Eifle Tower. There are metros nearby. The hotel coped with us all really well. I would recommend this Ibis to anyone. Only one negative....bar ran out if gin one night! If you like the Camden market buzz you will love this.

Good ambience. The location is just great to be on the confluence of Paris canal in the serene De Lavelette area. The room is quite congested -there is hardly any space for moving around in the room. The room was very hot in the middle of July. The breakfast is reasonably well spread. Some of the staff were very pleasant to talk with, some are quite unpleasant to have conversation with.
Overall a great experience since I didn't have to spend too much time in the room.

Low budget hotel. Kind of contemporary but some complimentaries only. Breakfast included but too much wheat and no meat for my taste. Need to go out to fill my morning stomach.

Very nice hotel !
Big room with all you need.
The only downside is that my window was just above the maim street, and there were loud car noises.

The reception is very open and welcoming, along with their friendly staff but the rooms are very small and you can barely move in the bathroom. It's basic accommodation with no tea or coffee making facilities. There is a cafe downstairs which served a good continental breakfast and there was plenty of choice. The location is great and is just a few minutes walk from the music venues across the canal and not too far from a metro station.

Nice budget hotel. We only spent one night here. Location is bit far from tourist attractions but metro is only 10 minutes walk from hotel. Not many eateries near the hotel, so make sure you have your dinner before you go back to hotel at night else be prepared to eat at the hotel.

Overall it's an okay hotel. Our room was clean but clearly dated and did not have enough light. The bathroom and shower were laughably small but since it's a 3-star in Europe that was to be expected.

It is located within walking distance of a metro stop so getting more into the city is easy. There is also a cafe right next door and bakery and food places between it and the metro stop.

Be warned though that it is a hotel Contiki and other tour groups use so if you have young children/want something quiet you might want to look elsewhere.

Very comfortable for the price. Very clean also. The wc is small. And it's like 40 minutes from the centre of the city. But the hotel itself is good ans there are some restaurants around.

Great hotel, small rooms!
Remember the breakfast is European, so small things, no kitchen easy premaid stuff (bolied eggs are offer).
Watch out for the temperature changes in the shower!

The hotel is clean and the rooms too. The people are nice. The hotel have a unexpensive private parking. I don't try the restaurant. The restroom of the room (my room) is very small, too small for me, but the shower is great. Good experience.

The room was adequate. The bathroom was indeed very tiny, the with only rubbish bin situated there. The breakfast selection was not varied from day to day.

9

Quick and efficient checkin, even very late at night. Good amenities in the hotel; nothing else except a small cafe is adjacent, but there's plenty in walking distance. It's a long but doable walk to the city center. River is right outside the lobby doors, very nice to sit and smoke a cigar.

7

Decent business hotel for a short stay. Not too far away from the main center but also not very close so it makes it difficult to commute effectively unless you're willing to pay for the taxi or risk the metro. Small showers and they don't seem to grasp the concept of individual beds

Great location, we stayed here for three nights and were very happy with the river and activities going on around the hotel. The room was very small though which made it difficult to move around wit suitcases. I would be nice if they offered face cloths and hand towels. The building is quite outdated too.

Wonderfull staff, the room was nice(although a bit "crowded" for me), services were at a high standard and the food was great. Had a great stay. Also nighlife "amenities" are available right in front, if you can spark up a conversation qith the locals that gather in front every night

Mainly as expected.

We stayed here for a specific purpose but were very pleased with the canalside location. We often stay in Accor range hotel and thought the rooms in this one were rather small. We felt it was worth paying the small extra amount for the room with the canal and park view.

Our schedule for the day resulted in us leaving the Bastille area after midnight having been up since 4 a.m. and having had very little to eat. We had to wait at least a minute for our metro back to Ourq. Excellent service.

Most of the time we avoid hotel food but we thought we should eat something and we wanted to get to sleep asap so we checked the apparently extensive menu. The somewhat surly chap serving pointed out that we were looking at the wrong menu and rather reluctantly handed us another one with about 6 choices and some scribble. We settled for the risotto, which was ok and the chicken liver pate that tasted of congealed fat. I reckon that if your first meal with animal products was this you would be vegan within a week.

Overall the hotel worked well for us and other staff were fine. I would consider staying here again if I had another appointment in this part of Paris.

If you want a plain hotel where you can get a great affordable breakfast or a good late night snack, this is your place. This is not a luxurious hotel but it's location is beautiful, flanked by the Canal Ourq and the multicultural Avenue le Flandres.

Not located in the city center but has very good metro connection which is about 10 mins walk. It has 2 restaurants just near the hotel. The view from the rooms are not bad. Rooms are clean and basic like all Ibis hotels.

Standard Ibis hotel service in a quiet district of northern Paris. Matress and linens as expected. Nothing to complain about. Although a bit remote from the heart of the city, only 15 mn with underground transportation. Good value for money.

Stayed 2 nights in June 2016. Friendly staff, clean lobby and breakfast area with a good breakfast. Our room was on the 8th floor, needs TLC. Ran out off soap afer 1 day, can not remove the soap dispenser from the wall. No hand towel. Rooms are small for North American standard. No Air Conditioner. 2 windows to open for air, 1 is in the bathroom. There is a bistro close to the hotel so we heard them talk and laugh up to 3h00 AM. Noise also from the road. Free Wi-Fi, re-sign in all the time.

Not close to the Gare du Nord or Gare de l'est for Trains or CDG or Orly Airports. A long walk from the metro, sidewalks are not even and in the metro 30 to 45 stairs is not easy with luggages. No shopping or restaurants close to the hotel.
Would not stay here again!

One of the cheapest hotels in Paris.
Pluses:
- Very clean. Very polite staff. Giant, extremely comfortable bed. Close to the station. La Vellete outside your window. Wi-Fi and TV.
Minuses:
- Small, minimal furnished rooms, miniature bathroom. Little draft now and then. No safe, no minibar. Only body wash in the bathroom.
If you are looking for a place to sleep and wash up - this is the place. Considering the prices in Paris - loved it.

A really super Ibis. Being Ibis you know what to expect. Absolutely clean room, nice bed but bathroom small. But how long do you want to spend in a bathroom?
Next good point is the lovely location. Quiet and peaceful and out from the hotel to lovely walks along the Canal st Martin.
Next great point: absolutely superb all-you-can-eat buffet breakfast. Coffee, bread rolls and croissants all so very nice.
Next good point: easy to get to two different Metro lines on either side of the canal. Both within a few minutes walk.
As you can guess from this review I absolutely loved staying here and would go back without hesitation.
