Very nice hotel nestled in the heart of Seoul. Right on top of the Coex underground shopping mall, and Samsung station. Rooms are clean and well kept for a business hotel. Bathrooms starting to look a bit aged, but nothing to complain about.

If you are at Grand Intercontinental in Seoul do not miss Hakone Japanese. A pure delight to enjoy their Sashimi and Sushi course. Enjoyed my dinner and strongly recommend this place for all.

First rate service! Big rooms and comfy beds. Coex Starfield Mall is in the basement and its connected ti the subway station. Lotte World Tower just 3 stations away!

Excellent customer service, from the front desk to the concierge to housekeeping. I never had to wait for more than a couple of minutes to talk to someone, or have something delivered to the room. Rooms are comfortable and well appointed, including a high end Expresso machine that comes with free coffee pods. Amenities such as the pool and fitness area are well maintained. Location is convenient, connected directly to Coex and close to business district. Would come back.

Great location, rooms are spacious and we'll equipped. Front desk staff is friendly but definite room for improvement compared to other similar class hotels. Breakfast buffet seems rip-off , $52 a day . Overall Good for couple of days stay.

Enjoyed my stay here, was here for 4 days for work and the location was central for me. Rooms were clean, spacious, and had all the amenities needed. I really liked that there was a convenience store that wasn't over priced within the hotel. Friendly, helpful staff recommended some good soon du bu. Will definitely be back again.

Good service attitude that makes you warmly welcome. Breakfast was not the level I expected from high standard hotel but good enough though. Did not have time to try swimming pool or gym facilities. Over alla I can only recommend this to business travellers.

Came here for a friend's wedding. Really liked the hall and how it was decorated. The food could have been better.

This place was amazing. A little pricey, but well worth it. We got it last minute to see some fireworks for New Year's. Amazing breakfast, great service. They all speak English as well, so that's a bonus (my Korean isn't 100%). Loved staying here and probably will again next year.

Hotel has become old and badly maintained. I am a repeat customer, but disappointed to see how cheap the management of this hotel has become and ithe value for the money has steeply declined. Friendly staff gets the hotel the two stars.

While there are many new hotels built with great facilities in Seoul for thelast couple of years, this one is one has one of the best service. I always thought this is an old hotel, but that awesome service made old the classic. Connected to Coex Mall and right next to Hyundai departmenr store. Very convenient location with subway access. Highly highly recommend!

Had a great night stay in such a comfy room that was spacious and with an amazing bed to sleep on. Staff were very helpful and we had a lovely buffet dinner at the Grand Kitchen.

Very good hotel. Slightly expensive even for Seoul. Good size rooms, a lot of facilities, a myriads of lunch restaurants beneath and a huge fancy shopping center just next door.

Location is good but the traffic around the hotel was bad in the weekend due to the shopping mall. The hotel was very nice and the food was excellent.

One of the best hotel I've ever been to. The lounge staff is unbelievable. The lounge itself is the best, with incredible food and a beautiful view of the city. The standard room I got was nice but a little small. However, the suite I got later was just too much, with the big desk, nice living room, large bed, etc. The location is of course perfect with access to the malls and the numerous restaurants, and the city airport.

Great service by all the staff, spacious and clean rooms, good amenities great location (connected to COEX so you can stay indoors all day).
There aren’t many cons, but if I had to point them out, it would be that the rooms are a bit old (heating system is really odd, kept blasting air conditioning in the winter, and shower faucets are outdated), and room-service is really expensive, which is to be expected.
Still, one of my favorite places to stay because you’ll never get bored—plethora of restaurants, shops, department store, and a movie theater, all just a short walk from the hotel.

Nice place to dine. Not crowded and quiet. Various cusines Japanese, Chines, Indian and Korean.

Great staff, but rooms are too hot. Guest rooms have individual temperature controls, but those are just for show as the hvac system IS under CENTRALIZED control. To be fair the co-located COEX Intercontinental suffered the same overheated rooms on a previous visit, so this is obviously an IHG issue vs this individual property. Didn't receive a room upgrade either despite holding thier Priority Club elite status, and welcome letter left in the room was written only in Korean which we couldn't read. Housekeeping was exceptionally good, as was check in staff. Location and convenience are the big plus here, but probably worth it to look at other close by locations that are cheaper and don't maintain guest rooms at toaster oven temperatures.

Visited here as a place to meet someone. The interior is very modern and very clean. There are staff at hand to help you with any needs or queries. The place is spacious but not overcrowded.

Great location, staff, and common areas. Legit gym and indoor pool. Pocket wifi rental available from each room (in addition to 'free' hotel WiFi). Rooms and bathrooms need modernization. Road noise may also be an issue on lower level rooms. Curtains require manual manipulation.

Always enjoy staying this hotel. The hotel is very close to Samseong station and accessible without having to go to streel level. You can access the hotel from within the mall.

Decent rooms and amenities but bad staff. Booked a king but gave us a queen. Then refused to help us with food ordering (since you can't really do it if you don't speak Korean).

This is a great spot in the middle of Gangnam District, next door is Huynday Department Store, many restaurants in the area at walking distance. Hotel facilities are great, from the big central bar to huge breakfast place. Service is great, including easy access to do your airport luggage check-in. Rooms pretty comfy.

This hotel well and truly deserves its 5-star rating. Everything about the rooms was designed for comfort and accessibility.

Very clean and unique meeting space. Attached to Starfield coex mall which has a large open library area and movie theater. Many places to eat and easily accessible right from Samseong station.

we stayed in the Junior suite lage room with a seating area the room was facing a hanging garden. .everything in that room was tastefully done. they had a very good breakfast I would recommend having your first meal meal..

Rooms are clean, but outdated. Could do with a refresh. Bathroom is big and clean, but in need of an update. Good service and check in. Internet is fast and free. Convenient location, directly connected to COEX mall via B1F. There's also a convenience store in the lobby.

Rooms were perfect. Elegant bar and restaurant along with a staff that paid attention to the small details. They treat you so well and make sure you are having a wonderful time. Definitely a great hotel to stay at if you are ever in Seoul. It is also connected to a beautiful mall, theater and aquarium.

Very nice hotel, the staff here can all speak English very well and they have a nice fitness area.

For price this big, I have to say that I'm a bit disappointed. The rooms look quite dated and the cleaning staff could do its job a tad better - on the first day I found a bit of a dried sushi roll next to my window. Sometimes, the light would turn off in the whole room when I was taking a shower.

Seoul is a big city, travelling from one part to another easily takes longer than an hour. Traffic is often not friendly. This makes the hotel perfect for an indulging travel (food dominant). Lots of fine restaurants in the gungnam area. Hotel sits on the subway easy for travel in peak hour. Five star service too.

Great hotel. Comfortable rooms, all needed amenities, and the lobby lounge has beautiful high ceilings and delicious cocktails. My only minor complaint is that it's on the outskirts of Gangnam; the area is not as walkable as many parts of Seoul.

Service was impeccable and the location was amazing. There was so much to do around the hotel as it was next to the Coex Mall and the Hyundaia Department Store. The rooms were spacious and I never had any issues during my stay there. I would definitely stay again if I am in Korea in the future.

I went this hotel to attend meeting. Its ballroom is pretty good. But I feel restrooms are not enough.

Stayed in the Club Floor Junior Suite.
Extremely spacious room and bathroom.
However the facilities seemed to be a little older than other 5 star hotels in Seoul.

The IHG Grand Seoul Parnas is a fantastic hotel and I had a 5-star experience during my brief stay. The location is great, right next to a major subway line, and not far from one of the busiest and trendiest areas of Seoul: Gangnam. My room was top-notch, with nice views of the street and opposite buildings and a very nice bathroom. The best part was the service. From the moment I got out of my cab, to the check-in process, to special requests, and finally to check-out, I was treated with the highest care. I would especially like to highlight the Guest Relations team, who gave me a special welcome and escorted me to my room. 10/10, will stay again.

This IC hotels is located in a mall and convention centre complex in a bussiness oriented district of Seoul. There are 2 IC hotels here, the Grand is the older and from name the bigger one, while the IC coex is smaller and more modern. Both are incredibly huge and serve you an excellent and upscale hospitality. You can access the coex mall directly from the lobby and from there you get a direct access to the metro line number 2. A bus stop is exactly infront of the hotel. If you are in Seoul for business then 80% chances that your meeting will be in or around this are. If you are in Seoul for tourism then it is the opposite, 80% of your trips are on the other side from the city across the bridge where a trip will take you up to 1h by metro.

I have been using this hotel over two decades already. Not too often, probably twice a year. Anyway very excellent staff members especially the gentlemen whose name is Hyukki Lee at the front desk is impressively professional, trying to deliver total customer satisfaction. Two thumbs up!!

The hotel is ok, but a bit overrated for my likings. WiFi was terrible and NOT free. I find lack of free WiFi, in 2014, to be an offence. For the rest, there was a lot of ongoning work, so most of the hall was under maintenance. Breakfast has been great though.
