ITC Maurya, a Luxury Collection Hotel New Delhi

The stateliness of ITC Maurya is situated in the diplomatic enclave of New Delhi and has long been the favoured accommodation of Heads of State, royal dignitaries and business leaders from across the world. ITC Maurya?s restaurants promise a unique experience of authentic Indian and international cuisine. The hotel houses the internationally acclaimed Bukhara for Indian North-West frontier cuisine, which has been consistently voted amongst the Top 50 Restaurants in the World? and the 'Top 20 in Asia, Dum Pukht was also voted for royal Awadhi cuisine, recognized as one of the World?s Best Classic Restaurants by Conde Nast Traveler Gold Standard. ITC Maurya is also built to the highest standards of sustainability and is certified as the world's first LEED EB Platinum rated hotel by the US Green Building Council Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design in the existing building category.

Delhi as a city exemplifies the transition and coexistence of the old world charm and modern convenience. On one side, the India Gate pays deference to the soldiers, the martyrs of Indo-Afghan war, while on the other, the Raj Ghat glorifies the memories of the Father of the Nation, Mahatma Gandhi.Additional historical moments such as Red Fort, Qutab Minar, Humayuns Tomb, Lodhi Gardens, and Chandni Chawk stand in pride to boast of the royalty of Mughal Era and Indo-Islamic architecture in India. The Rashtrapati Bhawan and other modern buildings, shopping centres, Metro Project, and huge flyovers present a perfect blend of modernity with the traditional atmosphere of Delhi.Red Fort is a magnificent structure dating back to the peak of Mughal power. When the emperor rode out on elephant back into the streets of Old Delhi, it was a spectacular display of pomp and power.Qutab Minar is the tallest brick minaret in the world and an important example of Indo-Islamic architecture. Listed as a UNESCO World Heritage Site, it is 72.5 metres high (237.8 feet) and requires 399 steps to reach the top.The Yantra Mandir, literally the “temple of instruments” and often called the Jantar Mantar, consists of a collection of architectural astronomy instruments, built by Maharaja Jai Singh II of Jaipur, for his own use, from 1724 onwards.Rajpath literally known as “King's Way” is the ceremonial avenue of the Republic of India. It runs from Rashtrapati Bhavan through Vijay Chowk and India Gate to National Stadium, Delhi. The New Delhi Boulevard is lined on both sides by lawns with rows of trees and ponds. Undeniably the most important stretch of road in India, Rajpath goes straight toward Raisina Hill, India's administrative centre.India Gate, the 42-metre high stone arch of triumph situated on the Rajpath in New Delhi, (originally called the All India War Memorial) is a monument built by Edwin Lutyens to commemorate the Indian soldiers

ITC group of hotels are my go-to choice, when available in any city. ITC Maurya was no less of a great experience, from service to food. Their restaurant Bukhara was a mind blowing culinary experience, a must try for those in Delhi! The spa services were also unsurpassed.

One of the best hotels I have ever stayed at. The staff are attentive, polite, and very helpful and accommodating. You literally don't have to leave the hotel for anything. The food is wonderful, spa and gym are fully equipped. There is a nice outdoor pool and open bar every day. I would recommend this to anyone who wants a top notch 5 star hotel in the heart of New Delhi.

It's one of the royal hotels situated in New Delhi, India. Since it's a luxury hotel and many rich people and big personalities come here to stay, there is thorough checking before anyone enters the hotel premises to ensure the best possible security for everyone, the staff is helpful and they seem to be well mannered as well as educated, the hotel has it's own lobby, coffee place, events hall, spa, currency exchange service for residents and guests. Inspired by the golden age of Mauryan dynasty, it has 437 rooms which encapsulates luxury experience with exemplary service and warm hospitality, acknowledged as the preferred 'Residence for World Leaders and Global Icons' for over 35 years. The prices for room ranges from 7,999 to 4,99,999 depending on your selection. Overall this place is perfect for people seeking a royal stay experience while they travel or even who plan to stay for other purposes like social gatherings, company meeting and events, occasions and conferences.

I stayed at ITC Maurya in the first week of August. Delightful experience. I was facing an IT issue. Called up the helpdesk. They immediately solved it. The room was lovely. What I loved most is the food at its restaurant. Great breakfast buffet collection. However, I couldn't find a place to eat at the Bukhara.

Hotel is located in one of the most prime location of Delhi. It is one of the most lavish and luxury hotel of Delhi. I stayed in executive room exclusive. Room size is ok but too small for this price range hotel. Toiletries provided was very limited. Rooms starting with 21 to 27 have a very weird entry through tea lounge. Overall my experience was good. Food quality is perfect but too expansive. Service is flawless.

Despite residing in New Delhi, one rarely has the time or opportunity to visit premium hotels such as the ITC Maurya. But any opportunity to grace its bright and beautiful corridors adorned with sculptures, traditional art and architecture, and murals must be seized with open arms! It's a delight to be a patron of ITC Maurya and I'd highly recommend people to visit the hotel for an unquestionably fine experience.

First time I tried beet root veg kebabs ,very yummy . How they welcome and test you is major point to be appreciated . Ambience is sparkling like wine in glass.

It's 5 stars in every aspect !! Well deserved. Celebrities can be seen all around this place at most times.

Also it’s commendable that it has ample parking very near to the main porch which is nowadays very rarely seen even in 5 star hotels.

The rooms, the quality of service, the environment, it all feels royal !

Right from the check in till check out, the entire process is really warm in welcoming guests to the hotel. Mostly I have been upgraded to the next category room or to a standard suite depending upon availability.

The rooms are spacious and the housekeeping staff was very friendly & efficient.

The buffets for breakfast/Lunch/ dinner are reasonably lavish and delicious.

I would like to thank the entire staff at ITC Maurya and specially staff.

Thank you!

Excellent rooms and the staff was outstanding. They are always available for the customers. The only negative I experienced was the check-in procedure. We visited the Bukhara restaurant of ITC Maurya Sheraton. The overall food experience was very good. Though, it is very heavy on the pocket, but it is once in a while good food experience!! Also, the Daal Bukhara is a must have, the non veg is also very good. On the downside I would say that the menu is very limited, there are no gravy dishes as well as no soups, but ppl say that it's a part of the classy reputation of the place! 🙂🤩

Very good hotel with nice pool and staff. The reception is grand too. But i suggest the management to look into a few aspects like the food is a little bland for our Indian spicy taste. Also for people who love to travel by bike...there is no proper parking facility. Please look into it as it is a real pain to leave your lovely bike in such dilapidated parking that the hotel have for bikes. Also after parking ee have to walk a long way and on a upward sloping path for the reception. It is really not expected from a hotel of your reputation.

Bukhara has been such a culinary constant - since I was a pup and 30 years since. Delicious food. Focused menu. You cannot go wrong ordering food. Except for when you order Tandoori phool. Do yourself and the cauliflower family a favor, don't order it.

The Hotel is large, spacious with rich architecture and art work. The rooms have great views and the buffet spreads as with any ITC Hotels are great. Staff are attentive and efficient. I recently stayed here for one night. The checkin was a bit complicated perhaps due to some big group checking in. As the rooms were delayed, we were offered a coffee in the Cafe which was a nice gesture for the hotel.
The Room
The room offered is small but spacious. It has all modern equipments but gives a very worn down looks. The carpet, drapes, bathroom everyone had a very tired look. Ample stock of water in the room which is a big advantage to keep yourself hydrated. The mini bar has many products from ITC sold at the MRP which is quite nice too. Internet is a problem as for some reason the laptop wasn't able to connect to hotel wifi. The hotel staff had to drop in a few times to help.

The Restaurants
As a hotel guest you get a preference for booking table in Bukhara. We were allocated a table and as usual food was awesome. We thoroughly enjoyed it.

Its always nice. I went to the rooftop restaurant ottimo - western cuisine. Food was fantastic and the ambience for the outdoor sitting was very pleasant. It was slow and serene and romantic. Staff was very courteous and considerate.

The staff at the reception were very polite and check-in was smooth and quick. The facilities in the Executive Club Room were top-class, with a wonderful view. Highly recommended for business travellers.

The Hotel is one among the best in Delhi. A warm welcome by their friendly staff and delightful delicacies in their top notch restaurant glorify the whole experience. The indoor market in the hotel premises offers a decent range of apparels and accessories. If looking for an elegant place to stay in Delhi, ITC Maurya is unbeatable!

The hotel has a benchmark and follows it to the dot. If you want to guaranteed service that won't let you down this is the place. We used to have a lot of business once with this group. Not so much anymore but the space is still a great memory even if people have changed. I have my birthday and I am headed to its steakhouse restaurant at high floor. Ciao.

Very helpful staff and beautiful hotel. However, the hotel ran out of non smoking rooms and I was placed in a smoking room. The room was well appointed with a modern bathroom and very clean but seemed a bit worn down to other hotels of this caliber. If you like sleek modern hotel rooms look else where.

The food here is excellent. Several good restraunts including the famous Bukhara and a delicious breakfast.

Once the premier Hotel in the City of Delhi, the Maurya now has formidable competition in hotels which are more grandly designed. The customer service at the Maurya will however always remain top class. The service quality excellence is embedded in their DNA. The hotel also sports some excellent dining including the Bukhara which serves NorthWest frontier cuisine in its finest form.

Five star hotel in Diplomatic Enclave right on the way from the International Delhi Airport to the city. Nice green territory of Chanakyapuri district is 10 minutes away (by car) from the President House, Parliament and India Gate. Many embassies are nearby. However, there are no shops, malls or other entertainment close to the hotel. This is a place of stay for official delegations from all over the world.

Food is great in Maurya. You can have a good time in Bukhara restaurant on the ground floor or in West View on the rooftop. But my favorite one is Tian-Asian Cuisine Studio.

Overall experience of being with ITC Maurya could be described as perfect.Though prices are high all you get is worth staying.

I went to Bukhara, the restaurant in the hotel. It has very small but very delicious menu. You have to eat every thing from your bare hand. The waiters are extremely helpful and courteous. A must visit for luxury meal.

Arguably the best 5-star luxury hotel in Delhi-NCR. Even if you're not staying at this hotel but are nearby, you should have a meal at their Bukhara Restaurant - must try their legendary Dal Bukhara and Tandoori Kebabs.

The people is reception are highly lethargic and have little or no service attitude for Indian customers. They are not friendly and there is no Information center which can give us answers about the facilities available in the hotel.

The biggest Plus points :
1. The Swimming coach is a great person and treats the guest in the best way possible.
2. The place has a beautiful indoor and outdoor view.

The look and feel is good but Service is no way close to a 5Star hotel. The Reception staffs are not friendly. And when you call them for reservations/ enquiry - you will end up being on phone for 20 mins and at least 5 call transfers with no proper reply till the end.

Really disappointed with the staff at the reception who could not find my reservation. After I made a scene they mysteriously found that I had a reservation after all. Refused to honor the free wifi that was included in my reservation.

The staff in the rest of the hotel are superb. The breakfast spread is among the best in terms of quality and variety. The rooms are small and feel cramped. The restaurants in the hotel are superb.

Environmental Award winning hotel; all "green," and their brand is "Responsible Luxury." They recycle everything and provide watering facilities for acres and acres of land surrounding them, including the Army Grounds across the road. First-class facility and wonderful operation. Rooftop cocktail lounge is beautiful on a cool evening.

Earlier this month during my visit to New Delhi. I had the pleasure of staying in ITC Maurya Sheraton, which incidentally was also my first stay here. I have a great pleasure in conveying my heartfelt gratitude to each and every staff at ITC Maurya for making our stay a most memorable one indeed.

It was very gracious of Mr. Rohit at the Welcome Desk to help me most courteously in the arrival formalities including offering a room with a beautiful view. The excellent service by the staff at West View restaurant and the breathtaking view from there during breakfast remains one of the most beautiful memories of the stay there.

If the days began sprightly, the evenings were equally memorable at the Golf Bar. The handsome bartenders do serve some of the finest cocktails with a warmth that is so alluring. Thank you all for the warm hospitality extended and I sincerely look forward to revisit ITC Maurya in future visits to India.

With warm wishes.
Sangeeta.

The Pavilion is the 24x7 coffee shop of the Iconic ITC Maurya Hotel. The Pavilion is ideal for Saturday night outings, midnight buffets and lazy Sunday brunches. The ambience is classy & inviting, service is great, food is worth trying. Not to be missed!
