Overall, a nice place. Had a 2 bedroom condo with ocean view - large rooms, plenty of space. Beach is near by, and there are couple of different pools near by. The only problem I had is with cleaning of the unit - once at the property, I was informed that due to COVID-19, there will be daily made service. You pay premium price but no cleaning - I have an issue with that.

Wow is all I can say such a very upscale environment modernized. My kids had so much fun within the considerable (inclusive + external) water park area "kids had a blast". Pricing of the room wasn't extraordinary but was sufficiently justified given circumstances of eventful holiday = 4th of July, nevertheless, my family had a perfect 👌 💯 view of fireworks 🎆 event being displayed on the beach 😎 ☀️ directly in front of the motel.I haven't any cons at the moment so far so good and can't go wrong as far as I'm concerned. " WORTH IT" unforgettable vacation experience to say the least! ✓

We have stayed her multiple times. Always well kept. The staff is very courteous and helpful. We rented a one room condo with a king size bed for the two of us. The room wasn’t staying cool so we called front. desk to let them know. They transferred us to a three bedroom condo for no additional charge.

UPDATED REVIEW - Kind of long. Sorry in advance.

Paid for a stay at Kingston Plantation Condos last year (2019). There were multiple issues and our family was underwhelmed. I communicated with the staff throughout the stay about the issues and the customer service representative reached out after the trip to recap and discuss what was appropriate.

Fast forward to this year (2020). Coronavirus is a downer but our stay at Kingston Plantation condos has been exceptional. The condo we were assigned was second floor and we have two toddlers, kindly asked for a switch to first floor and they quickly accommodated our request. The condo is super clean, beautiful and moderately updated. Well worth the price! The resort is clean, fun, and well manicured. The staff is responsive and helpful. A 5-star review doesn’t always mean it’s perfect but in this case anything below 5-star quality was addressed and I can happily say we will be returning!

One of the nicest locations I've ever visited. It was very well kept ,updated, Everything you needed. Even linens and towels. You just need to bring food. Beer definitely or your beverage your choice. And yourself. Lot of things to do on the property. Great beach excess, and a couple of bars and restaurants right on the property. Most things are then walking distance. Had a good time will be back... THANK YOU!! ❤️🌞😎⛱️🌊...

One of the best places to stay in MB. Go there at least once a year. Second time we stayed in a garden condo. The location of the one we stayed in was great. Some condos are nicer than others. Had some hiccups with housekeeping and overall cleanliness but not too bad. We usually stay at the Hilton or Embassy which are oceanfront and has more amenities. Overall great resort layout and great place to stay.

Overall we had a great experience at the condos. We had a quick and easy check-in, and were actually able to check-in early since we arrived a little earlier than expected. Getting into the resort was simple, we just had to check in as a guest at the gate and we were directed to the office. The rooms were spacious and well furnished, and actually had an extra loft bed. A full kitchen, as well as two bathrooms were included. Anything we needed we had room service bring. The resort also offered a shuttle service to get you around the resort to the beach, pool, and office, if you needed. The resort beach was nice, and offered chairs to use. The pool was small but good enough and there was also a lazy river. Overall the price was good and the service was great!

Nice Resort with hotels in anyone’s price range. We had a nice little condo with an ocean view. Big Bath, separated sleeping / dining area but the kitchen had only a microwave, fridge and sink. And on the next day we recognized that there was no flatware to eat. It looked also a little bit old and needs some small renovations. And u had no extra shampoo or stuff, it was just plane. For us it was like 210$ just for a plane room and most of the price was for the view. Internet was also slow.

The 2 BR villa we stayed in was clean, comfortable and had enough room for the 5 of us. Although we did not stay oceanfront I actually preferred these villas over oceanfront hotels we have stayed at in the past. The back porch had a nice view of the pond and it had a more homey feel than staying in a hotel room. We were right across from the gym, spa, and indoor pool. There are endless activities at the resort and most are free. They also have a nice outdoor pool, lazy river and splash area near the main building. We plan to book a longer stay at Kingston plantation for our next family vacation.

Just returned from a long weekend at Kingston. Brighton 10th floor condo was clean and comfortable with a few quirks that made it feel just a bit run down. Immediately upon arrival, I tried to open the kitchen blinds and the stick broke off in my hand. Several lights did not work. As others have written, there was little to nothing by way of supplies. No dish soap, no Kleenex, no coffee filters, not even salt and pepper, so be prepared to hit Kroger's and buy everything, and I mean everything. There was an extra roll of toilet paper and a few trash bags. The pans in the kitchen consisted of one tiny old 5" fry pan so if you are coming with a family and hoping to have bacon and eggs in the morning, bring your own pots and pans. This is the first time we have encountered this in any condo or cabin we have ever rented. The staff was always cheerful about making up our rooms and providing extra towels, which was great.

Overall, however, the resort is wonderful. The children's water park is adorable and the pools are sparkling. Great proximity to nice restaurants and the beach is well maintained. We would return, however next time we will expect to purchase necessities.

This is a beautiful place with friendly staff. I love the splash park and the fact we're right on the beach. The only reason why I didn't give it a 5 star is because there wasn't everything in our room that was supposed to be in there (dish soap, laundry detergent, etc). But overall a great stay!

The rooms are out dated no complimentary anything. Didn't even have Kleenex in the room the TV was out dated. this may be okay for some people but when you pay a premium you expect quality. Not sure if their other room are this way. The staff was very understanding and gave us free breakfast with other Perks which made this day feel better than it was.
The water park was a lot of fun stayed for hours. I would highly recommend for families. Poolside dinning. Very convenient the staff is very friendly and entertaining.

Had an awesome time! Great resort hat offers 145 acres of relaxation. Has everything you need including a shuttle to take you around the resort and to local restaurants in the vicinity of the hotel. And as with all Hilton brand hotels the customer service was awesome! Would definitely stay here again!

I've been coming ever since I was little. As long as I can remember it's always been wonderful. If we ever had a problem they always were helpful and fixed it right away. The rooms were never dirty, and housekeeping came every day and were accommodating. This is why this is our number 1 vacation spot, and come back every year.

Very pleased with how well the "plantation" is cared for! A great place to vacation with your family!!! My kids are happy and are having a blast! The mini water park is a huge hit for my smaller kids age 8, 5 and 18 months. The older two kidw 15 and 12 are having a blast on the beach with daddy! Such a great and very safe place to vacation!

Happy with our week stay there in a lake-view villa. Grounds were very pretty and kept up very nicely. Villa cleaning could stand to be reviewed and done more thoroughly. Water pressure lacked power. Overall I would stay there again.

AC isn't working, very disappointed. Kids always were in the hot tub, the hot tub is meant for adults. Ocean view was nice, and needed due to the fact the AC was out, I even spend a night outside due to the AC being out. Breeze felt good.

My vacation was absolutely wonderful! My 4th year to myrtle beach and this by far was the best resort I've stayed on. Two bedroom villa. Very clean and super comfortable. My family and I felt very welcomed. We enjoyed the indoor pool and sauna they had to offer splash park was a plus even though it was a chilly week. Two of the days were in the 80's we had so much fun. Drinks and food a plus. There are all kinds of restaurants in the area.. Anyways can you tell I love this place? Lol I can't wait to go back this is where I will be booking and referring to others when they are looking for a quiet relaxing place to vacation. Great for families and I booked months in advanced the price was remarkable. Thumbs up to Kingston plantation. Thank you for a lovely vacation!

Good stay :)

We ran into an issue with a random guy walking around with a dog on no lease, and he approached us two separate times at night. The dog was not friendly, and barked/growled viciously at us, and came very close to us, and our baby.
We called for security and they handled it.

We loved where we stayed, and would book with Kingston Plantation Condos again. They could use an upgrade on furniture.

Driving around on the property took sometime getting use to.
Stores and restaurants were close by.

Overall it's great! Large. A village on it's own. Room was okay. Bed not great. Pretty clean overall. View of the beach! Most buildings have a pool and hot tub. Plus one indoor pool, hot tub and fitness center. Staff were wonderful. Happy hour get a a little hectic but the bartender born and raised in Brooklyn handles it like a champ! Salads were great!

The place as a whole is beautiful lots to do especially if you have kids. Very spacious and family friendly. Very close to everything you can think of. The reason I give it 3 stars is because 1 they have huge cockroaches inside the resort I stayed in with my family. The resort room we had was the 3bdrm resort view which does also have lake view. It also was not clean we had to clean up paper, old wrappers, cabinets on the kitchen were nasty and countertops dusty. We could have had an upgrade but would be $50 more per night. Not trying to pay more just to run into more problems. Since we reported the issues, we were discounted 50% for a night, free breakfast for a day, and refunded phone call charges which we didn't even know we had. ($10/call so if you have cell phones use them we did after being told that lol) housekeeping & pest control was contacted still waiting to see what happens.

The reason that I am giving this hotel 5 stars us because of the front desk agent Shannon. She has fixed so many wrongs. I was charged twice for a condo for a 3 day 2 night weekend if over a thousand dollars. Along with with reservation being duplicated a third time. I was very upset because of the outrageous charges. Shannon went above and beyond to fix this for me and she did this all in a matter of hours on a Saturday. Thank you Shannon for a job well done. You are the epitome of a guest service representative. Thank you again.

Kingston Plantation is our favorite place to stay at the beach. Condos are clean, spacious and private. Property is gated and extremely well maintained. When we go as part of a conference the breakfast at Embassy Suites is included as well. Very close to Tanger Outlets and has easy access to the beach and most area attractions. We generally stay here 2 or 3 times a year and are always pleased.

We love Kingston Plantation, but they have gotten very stingy towards the owners. My husband's family owns a place here and it's always our favorite family vacation every time we get to come, which is a couple times a year. I know they pay a ton of money in HOA fees every year but they've gone over the top with their rules. When we arrived this week our golf cart had lost all charge in battery when we got here. KP has a rule against charging with an extension cord. We called and asked if we could charge it just to get it up and going and they told us no and that if we did that we would be fined and have to pay a penalty. Then the security guard came and sat in his car and watched us to make sure we didn't do it. We literally had to pay a golf cart company to come take it off property and go charge it and we couldn't get it back for 2 days. That's ridiculous, right? Then we went to the pool area and we have paid to get in there almost every day this week. We got there at 8:30 PM and the pool closed at 10 PM. We asked if there was any way we could pay a prorated amount since we would only be there for an hour, tops. They refused and told us we would need to pay $30 to swim for an hour. I get it that you have rules, but when owners are paying so much to be members all year long I feel like you should change some of your rules. I don't care about swimming at night, I took my kids so they could have an hour of swim time before bed and we had to take them away because it was going to cost $30 to swim for an hour. And the last time we were here the security guard made a huge deal over the fact that I didn't have my license while driving the golf cart. It's just getting a little ridiculous with all of the nickel and dime type charges. It's a shame.

Beautiful two bedroom appartment style rental with an immaculate and fully stocked kitchen. Pros: -3 flat screen televisions -jacuzi bathtub -cozy living room with two pullout couches -5 min walk to a pristine beach -incredibly friendly hotel staff who are helpful and always ready to accommodate Cons: -Town is over three miles away, and the shuttle only takes you two miles 10/10 will go back

Kingston Plantation Condos is a great place to stay while you at the beach it offers condos and villas it also has a lot of amenities on site for your stay it’s conveniently locate and makes travel around the beach very easy. The only part I didn’t like was the fact that I thought I was getting an oceanfront room and got an ocean view which didn’t provide that great of view but all in all great place.

We arrived Sunday night and are planning to stay until next Saturday. There are a large amount of parking spots available. The area is spread out, making it inconvenient to walk to building to building. However, there are shuttle buses that will transfer you to your desired location on and off the campus. The location of the condos are right on the beach, making it easily accessible to go and come back. There are two pools to use and a kiddie water playground with a lazy river. With room service, they are quick and they get the job done. In a typical room, there is one bedroom and one living room. There are tv's, a small refrigerator with a freezer, and even a small kitchen sink. The view from the balcony outside the room is beautiful, looking at the fabulous, Myrtle Beach. However, one possible problem with the room is that the bathrooms are quite small. In addition to service, breakfast is complimentary every morning to all overnight guests. Overall, the stay so far is quite pleasing!

Great family vacation spot. 2 bedroom unit was very spacious. Oceanview from the room was beautiful. The property is huge and well-kept. Many amenities, including indoor/outdoor pools, poolside bar & grills, restaurants, Starbucks in the lobby, etc. The location is perfect. It's right on the beach, minutes from the amusement park and Broadway on the Beach. My only complaint is the outdated kitchen appliances, with minimal cookware. Other than that, I highly recommend Kingston Plantation Resorts.

Brighton tower, we were warned about the balcony being out of use but the noise was unbearable. Then they did a pest inspection and advised us to change rooms-- right next door. Not a good start to the stay. Condos in this tower appear old and used up. Missing lots of basic essentials in the kitchen. We're normally pleased with our stay at Kingston but will be rethinking that after this stay. BTW, as a Hilton diamond member and someone who stays here at least once a year, at an upscale resort, you'd think they wouldn't need to ask "have you ever stayed with us before" every time. This is 2017 you have a computer, use it. How about welcome back? What brings you back? How can we serve you during your stay? Here's something for being a loyal guest? No. Just a dirty bug infested room, we'll put you next door.

The rooms are spacious and nicely decorated. The kitchen is stocked with everything needed to cook land eat. Some things are newly renovated and some parts are old and need updated. Beautiful property, great location. More restaurant choices are needed for a property this size. I have stayed at smaller resorts with 15 restaurants. This one has one main restaurant and one fancier restaurant... That's it. The number of pools and amenities is amazing. Brand new gym

The condos are not what I was expecting. They are set back from the beach, surrounded by the larger hotels. The two main pool areas are nice and the beach is great too. However, the actual condo we stayed in was run down. There were stains on the kitchen chairs, a part of the ceiling cracked and looked like it was about to peel, the living room was overstuffed with furniture that blocked the deck access, the blinds were bent and clearly needed to be changed, and lastly the floor lamps in the living room looked like they were purchased from Walmart - The ones you would see in a dorm room. Overall, kind of disappointed and we would not come back. I feel that this trip was way too expensive for what it was.

Stayed a week there and couldn't be happier. Booked a single room villa and was surprised by the amount of room we had for my family of 4. Had to drive to the beach and splash park but that wasn't a big deal, we knew the place was spread out. Only 2 problems I have was there wifi absolutely sucked ass (and wasn't free unless you wanted dial up speeds), and not all the pools were heated, not even the splash park! When the ocean is warmer than their pools in the middle of April something wrong. Staff was very accommodating, staying in the villas you don't get the same level of room cleaning you would in a hotel. They only change your towels out and empty your trash. Need to ask for extras like toilet paper and coffee, which they provided. It was also nice you have access to all the hotels and their properties that are on the resort.

This is a great resort. It is just far enough north to get away from downtown Myrtle but close enough to drive down to any of the attractions. No motorcycles allowed so you don't get the noise and disruption they can bring along. Kingston is a true plantation with lots of green space and ponds as well as lots of beach front. For best beach experience, book a "09" or "10" unit in Brighton Tower. They are huge 3BR/3BA units with lots of deck space. I prefer the "10" units as they have a pier view. Walk down to the pier for lunch and/or breakfast. Good food at great prices.

Professional and helpful staff! Always enjoy when I do stay at the villas here. However this time my room is very dated. The screen on the porch is broken. The hot water was gone by the time the 3rd person took a shower. It's a 2 bedroom villa so I never expected that to happen. I would recommend the owners be required to update their accommodations. I reserved a Villa for my sister as well and hers is a 5 star. I would still return to Kingston because it accommodates my family.

I went for a conference and was not happy. The furniture was old and terrible. The seats to the sofa were stained. The carpet was stained. The kitchen was very clean. The unit had a nice washer and dryer. The bathroom was disgusting. The shower was so moldy that I had to spray with bleach constantly and wear shower shoes. The closed in patio had old dirty table and chairs. It looked like a room forgotten. However, the cable was good. The breakfast was not that great either. All rooms are not created equal. There should be a standard that should be maintained at all times if you choose to rent out your unit. I felt like I traveled to the 60's.

Good, clean room. Friendly staff. There is A LOT of maintenance and new construction going on so there is minor inconvenience. Highly recommend.

There are multiple buildings and it depends where they accommodate you. Some have nice views while others are just fine.

Absolutely love Kingston Plantation resort.

We came here four years in a row with our two kids.... pre-teens and teens, depending on the year. excellent for us all with everything from tie-dye activities to the water park, plus the beach is large and clean.

Not a single issue with the units we have stayed in. VERY busy place to check-in and check-out, so have patience with that process.

North Myrtle Beach rocks and there are so many things to do if you want to get off the beach for a day. we plan to return again and again.

We stayed at Arrowhead Court at Kingston. The room was very nice. However, I did find a couple of dead cockroaches inside our bathroom. We had a screened lake-view balcony that was dusty along with outdated furniture. Overall our stay here was wonderful. The Embassy staff were all AWESOME. My boyfriend and I have already planned to return again.

The unit we were staying in lacked some amenities that are common in other resorts we've stayed at (ie: well stocked kitchen, etc). The view and proximity to the beach are nice. All standard amenities seemed fine (pool, etc).

Loved having a condo instead of a hotel room, but it was not very clean. Kitchen and bathroom were gross. Also, cookies and crackers and sticky juice spilled on and under coffee table. Housekeeping should be cleaning this stuff up, not me!

Omg! Views from my room were awesome. Friendly staff, clean rooms, thoughtfully designed with comfortable & beautiful furniture. Even the fold-out beds are nice! I found this place after I had a previous hotel give my room away. I had traveled 4hrs with elderly parents & a baby. I came here with no reservations & tears in my eyes on what happened to be the last weekend of spring break (who knew?). I was greeted with kindness & ended up having suites that I wish I could live in, that were far away from loud music & rude kids half my age. It was the best vacation I've ever had. Both of my patents have cancer...thank you for helping me make a wonderful memory for all of us!

The location is great and the beach is beautiful and not very crowded. The rooms were all very clean and the area felt safe. It is a great getaway spot place for Myrtle Beach. If I have a chance to come back I'll be staying here again

One of my favorite places to stay while in Myrtle Beach. The resort is very beautifully landscaped and wonderful amenities. The oceanfront towers are a bit dated but still nice and convenient to the activities and beach of course while the villages have a nice family appeal with more room and serenity of the lakes and trees surrounding you.

It's a nice location. Stayed at Brighton tower in a standard room, ocean view. Bed and pillows way too soft, standard room is very small for the price. Lots of hotel amenities and small pools. Bars close too early to enjoy for adults wanting libation after 11pm.

I have been vacationing with Kingston Plantation since I was a teenager and came with my parents. We have booked both through Kingston Plantation, but most recently VRBO and found a private owner we enjoy working with. Kingston used to be a beautiful Resort and still very much is. However, they filled in their Olympic swimming pool with a volley ball court and the resort management really gouges the customers and the residence that own the property. The buildings have become run down and Kingston doesn't seem concerned. For instance, one condominium that we stayed had leaking from the outer wall that seeped into the carpets. I hope things improve with the Kingston management, but my family and I vacation here nearly every year and plan on looking into a different resort in the area for our next family vacation.

Trevor at the front desk & reservations saved our Labor Day! We originally booked at a resort in Myrtle Beach, but it turned out to be a raggedy little motel. We called reservations and got one of the last rooms available. Trevor upgraded us with no problem and this was one of the greatest properties we've stayed at! You never go wrong booking with Hilton brands!
