Surprising very nice! We had an amazing view and the place inside was gorgeous. On the outside doesn't look as grand but don't be fooled! I luv that it's right there by the airport. I would definitely stay there again.

My 5 star is based on the ambience in the common areas and their restaurant "ELEMENT." The outside was very spacious, very well tiled, lots of greenery and the light sound of music to entertain you. The interior was breathtaking all the way to the restrooms. It was well lit, beautifully designed & decorated, clean and have a beatiful fragrance in the air that mesmerize you nostrils. Also the food at the restaurant was delicious👌🏼 I would love to book a room at this property. I believe I would enjoy that.👍🏽👍🏽👍🏽

Aside for waiting over an hour for the airport shuttle to pick me up when I could literally see the hotel across the street my stay was good. The room was comfortable, quiet and clean. I noticed there were cameras in every nook and cranny of the hallways on the floor which made me feel safe as I'm not familiar with the area surrounding the hotel. I was only there for a short time but i rested well. The day shuttle was much more prompt. Side note: the gentleman at the checkin counter was very nice and helpful. The woman beside him seemed stressed or maybe just had a typical NYC type attitude but I was glad when it was my turn I didn't have to be assisted by her. It was a hectic night for them I'm sure with weather and she wasn't holding up too well. I felt bad for her but also didn't want to feel the wrath! Maybe leadership should be more involved when things are hectic to make sure employees feel supported and get breaks or breathers even during busy times if they need it

Exceptional. The room was clean and super comfortable, the location was great, they even offer free shuttle service to the airport, the breakfast was yummy. Also, the staff were super friendly, prompt, kind and knowledgeable of the area, we didn't try the bar in the lobby, but it looked nice! If you’re looking for a nice, clean hotel near the airport this is a great value.

One of the nicest hotel near LaGuardia Airport I have been to. I was very glad to have chosen this hotel from the minute I stepped into the modern lobby. Very clean and all new amenities. Very friendly staff, the young attended at the front desk was very nice and welcoming!

Housekeeping cleaning rooms, knocking on doors at 11-11:30pm to clean rooms (first 3 nights in a row and I have to stay here a month)is a disappointment, indoor voice would be a good idea. Restaurant is over priced for average food, $12 for chicken noodle soup, I don’t think so......

I still was and am amazed by the interior design. The place is clean and well maintained thanks to the housekeeping department. By the looks of it, I think they have to build a hotel because their service is a 4 star for me. Front desks staffs are very professional on handling guests and their needs. The food in the menu is superb and I really love how they serve it, a lot of compassion in the air I can sense it. Overall its excellent and I will recommend my friends to visit this place.

I didn't end up staying here because they were completely booked due to many flight cancellations. But the staff, specifically Jon Graziano went out of his way to help me find another room close to the hotel. He truly helped turn a bad situation into a manageable one. The hotel was very clean and pretty. We ate dinner in the bar and the food was very good. Nice atmosphere.

Terrific hotel right next to LaGuardia Airport. Convenient and free airport shuttle; room was very nice and comfortable, and I loved the Starbucks coffee in the room. Arrived late and was pleased their restaurant was still open - great vibe, food and drinks in Elements Lounge. Front desk associates were friendly and a big help with my transportation needs.

The hotel is really close to lga Airport so you'd likely end up here for a single night of layover or something, but it's a really nice place. It looks like they're doing some kind of renovation, though, so I may have gotten the "nice floor" or something. Either way, it's a nice hotel.

Pros: Nice clean hotel in a nice location. I had breakfast included in my stay and breakfast was good although quite busy.

Cons: shuttle service is unreliable. The on-site restaurant is pretty expensive for the quality of food, and the staff doesn't seem very knowledgeable with regards to local information.

Nice experience, great facility. Great location for airports, Yankee Stadium and Citi Field. Not ideal if you are coming in to tour NYC but quite manageable if you are from NYC (like me) and know how to navigate the boroughs.

Hotel lobby, room and bathroom were nice. Service at the front desk could be better and friendlier. The airport shuttles run to and from the airport throughout the day. The train station shuttles only run to the train station, to come back it's the bus or a cab, which isn't very convenient.

I had booked a reservation in February 2018, for an upcoming trip in April. As I began the check in process, My experience with the front desk agent Marble Mu was not pleasant. She was not welcoming and it felt like she was just trying to get rid of me at the front desk.

The hotel has a nice decor and it seemed like it was going to be a great place to stay. Once I made it into the room, I realized that marble had sent me to the wrong room as I booked 1 king size bed , she placed me in a room with 2 full/ or XL twin beds. It was definitely not what I booked in the prior months. As I reached out to her to resolve the issue as it is 1a at this time, she was not empathetic about the problem. i asked for her manager and she advised me to my surprise that she was the manager.

After a total time of about 30 minutes, i was finally placed in a king size bed that she initially stated was not available. it only then became available when I asked what she was going to do to compensate me.

All in all, this was not a good first time experience for me and I will not be staying at Laguardia Plaza Hotel again. The service was no where near worth the price I paid for my stay.

Excellent beautiful hotel..we stayed in room 644 with the view of the water and airport. Staff at front desk excellent. Bar is great also but closed at 11pm. Lobby is very modern and welcoming. Room and hallway was nice, clean, modern and the bonus was the welcoming chocolates in the room.

Attended an event here. Very nice location. Easily accessible from the airport and local MTA buses. The meeting rooms were clean and bright and very well maintained. The staff was very friendly and accommodating to all visitors. There's ample parking which is really rare for a NYC airport hotel. I are in the hotel restaurant and both the food and service were excellent. Can't speak for the rooms since I didn't stay overnight, but the hotel overall seemed very well maintained.

I've stayed here many times. They have a great front desk team; quick and courteous. Their breakfast is to die for; lots of hot food, fruit, waffles and omelettes made with ingredients of your choice. Great rooms; some with awesome views of LGA. And some of the best, and I mean it, very best shuttle drivers IN THE WORLD!

Hotel was wonderful even though i was told I was staying in the non renovated part of the hotel. It is an excellent hotel. Water pressure was nice and high. The bed was great as well as the pillows. Room was clean and did not smell. The AC/heat worked flawlessly. again this was in the non renovated room, I could only imagine how good the better rooms are.
I want to shout out to a few people to specifically give them accolades such a wonderful Job:
Douglas: My initial point of contact at the Hotel was very kind and courteous. I was there for a band and had forgotten my ticket, he mentioned their business office and my trip was saved. Thank you so much!!!!
Mabel: I had returned from said concert at mid-night and was completely dead she helped me find a place to eat at such a late hour. incredibly respectful and helpful! Thanks!!
Arturo Q: Wonderful breakfast service it was wonderful. Presentation and quality of the food was the best of any hotel I have stayed at.
When I return to NYC this will be the place I stay at no matter what.
Thank you all for helping make my stay a memorable experience.

The service from the front desk was phenomenal. The room was small and below adverage. Free parking for overnight guests should be automatic but it is not. The only thing that keeps this from being a two star Review is because of the good workers at this hotel.

I’ve stayed at this hotel three times this year alone, and we (wife and I) LOVE IT!!! The staff is awesome, the food...OMG the FOOD is exceptional! My wife is a New Yorker (born in the Bronx) she loves this place. Not too far from Queens Center Mall, great restaurant in the hotel for evening, nice bar. We stay where we can enjoy watching the aircraft landing at LaGuardia, and never hear any of the noise that we hear at home when they fly over.

The desert! DID I MENTION THE DESERTS????? The Apple Crisp with the Ice Cream!!!!
THE FUDGE BROWNIE!!!!

If you want a nice hotel, clean rooms, great location...this is the place.

This is a beautiful hotel, very ornate, with very well appointed rooms that have great features. The bed was very comfortable. I slept better than a baby. The upgraded features in the bathroom include granite counters, and an oversized shower head with adjustable settings. And the staff is very polite and accommodating. Try to get the breakfast package included with your stay if you can. They have a nice breakfast buffet with a good amount of options. The location is central to very nice local restaurants (I recommend Uncle Peter's Italian), and is just a hop skip and a jump to LaGuardia. The free shuttle bus will take you to the 7 train, and from there the city is yours. Coming back, the Q48 bus drops you off just feet from the hotel. This hotel is a great hotel option for those who want the New York experience, without being in the middle of all the hustle and bustle. It was a great stay.

I stayed at this hotel for a wedding that I went to. The room was not ready when my wife and I arrived, but this was most likely due to us arriving earlier than the check in time. The room was pretty comfortable, it was very large compared to other hotels I've stayed at. My only gripe would be that we had to pay for parking. Thankfully the rate was discounted for those attending the wedding however. I believe that a hotel charging over $200/night should not charge for parking though.

We needed to stay here because our flight got cancelled. Needless to say, it was very, VERY expensive. The front staff was nice and accommodating and the rooms were standard. However, I don't think it was worth the $$$ that it costed us...unfortunately we had very limited options. Additionally, the service at the hotel restaurant was TERRIBLE. The waiter forgot about us, couldn't understand our order, and took forever to get us drinks. The environment was clean and had a new fresh lobby. Nonetheless, I think there are likely better, cheaper hotels...but this is NYC. Its an average place and if I were in a pinch like we were when we stayed here...I MIGHT consider staying here again.

It's a nice hotel. My stay was good and my room was well furnished and very nice. There aren't any restaurants or shops within walking distance nearby, so you really are at the mercy of the restaurants here in the hotel. And I ate dinner here one night before and the prices were reasonable for the food that you got and the fact that it was the only restaurant around. But then I ordered a soda with my dinner and I paid four dollars for that small cup of Diet Coke that you see pictured. That's a real problem and that's why this review was only three stars instead of four.

This hotel is just okay. The downstairs area is really nice, but the rooms need an update. Beds were comfortable and my room was quiet. I was right above the pool, and my room smelled like chlorine. The restaurant in the hotel is really overpriced, and there is no free breakfast.

The rooms are large and comfortable, and the lobby is beautiful. The buffet breakfast was mediocre. The booking process was very frustrating - we were supposed to be in a block for a wedding, and I had to call 4 times before I could finally talk to someone to make the reservation. After all of that, at check-in we were informed that we were not in the wedding block, and they would not provide us with the wedding package rates.

Let's start with the good: the lobby was really nice, and the staff gave us free breakfast coupons to compensate us for the issues we encountered. The rooms and bathrooms were large for New York, although pretty normal for elsewhere. There was a balcony, but it was shared by other people (2nd floor). The bad: first, and most importantly to me, the beds were old spring mattresses and not very comfortable - not great for sleeping for most of the population. The room we were in was really dated, and didn't look very well maintained. The toilet overflowed for no real reason. The shower was clogged, and it was a really bad clog. I've got long hair, so I have quite a bit of experience with clogged showers, this was a major clog either caused by something big or a large accumulation of hair. The latter is more likely which would indicate that its been that way for a while. That's one of the reasons I feel like the rooms aren't well maintained. Another problem with the shower was that the shower curtain was too small (both in length and width) and also mounted too high - this lead to water going all over the bathroom floor. Additionally the carpet has several stains on it. Aside from the room, the dinner service was really really slow, but the breakfast service was really fast (but also overpriced). Overall, I would not recommend staying here.

Not a top end hotel. Just a nicer...La Quinta. Check in was fine. I was in a newer room. Air Conditioner setting was just a suggestion to what temp and fan speed the air conditioner would maintain. Saturday night. Bar area was way understaffed. Everything took longer than it should have. Mind you the eating area and bar were at best 1/3 full. The icing on the cake was being served my food and having to ask three times over nine minutes for eating utensils and condiments. The same bar tender would walk by and help others. It was finally after turning around in my chair and making constant eye contact did he again ask if everything was okay. After my third request to him he got a napkin and silverware. The food is nothing special. Problem is there's nothing within walking distance. If staying here eat before you come or bring food.

Next morning I wanted to venture into the city. Gift shop has hours posted they open at 7am. I needed a metro card. It was 7:50 am and they were closed. Front desk said they were a different company. Fine. Bought a card and started my journey at the airport.

I only stayed here because my employer paid for the night. I'd only recommend this hotel if it's the cheapest around and you just need a bed and room for a few hours. Don't stay here with the intention it sight seeing. There's a bus stop across the street but.... Just stay somewhere else.

Good hotel with friendly staff and excellent shuttle service. The only problem I had was that the shower water wouldn't get as hot as I'd like and it took nearly an hour before someone came to fix it, after I'd gotten out of the pool & hot tub. The canned drinks and water for room service was also overpriced ($21, before tip, for a bottle of Voss water and canned Sierra Mist). However, the overall stay was good.

The location is good but service is not good. The room was not serviced on the second day of our stay even after reminders. We waited 1/2 hr at 11pm for servicing. The lady who came for room service was nice but I am disappointed from management. I believe the room is of good size and nice bed but the couch and carpet seems old. Also, a smiling face at reception would be nice rather than a serious one.

This hotel has clearly seen better days. Like the grand old lady in her tattered dress from a younger era, she clearly was once a sight to behold. These days the rooms are a bit grungy, the mattresses are a bit wonky, and anything above the first floor has an air of neglect.

Our first room smelled a bit funny like someone hasn't flushed the toilet. The toilet was clean but that was how the room smelled. We got a second room without the smell but with the same lumpy mattresses, difficult to use heating system, in dust in the corners.

The lobby is fabulous, the pool is nice, the transportation concierge was very helpful, and the room service was acceptable. Overall, it's not a great stay, but adequate.

Our reservation was under my husband, F. Serrago's, name. All of the employees at this hotel - Front Desk, Pavilion Restaurant, Gift Shop, Housekeeping, etc., made our first visit (home) in four years, and our 4 year old granddaughter's first NY visit very pleasant and comfortable. While the restaurant is a little pricey, the food was good. The hotel is located conveniently to the major highways and to LaGuardia Airport. Even so, it is very well soundproofed - I am a very light sleeper and was not disturbed by any traffic or airplane noise. And, the Airport Shuttle Driver that took us to our return flight yesterday morning was amazing! He made our granddaughter feel like a VIP by making an announcement and singing "The Wheels on the Bus," in her honor! Thank you!

This hotel is nice but not all of the staff are. The rooms are halfway updated, which is better than many of the hotels in the area. Don't even try taking the shuttle from the airport - after 3 phone calls and 45 minutes of waiting in various locations the staff told me to go to, still no shuttle. (the hotel is literally across the street from the airport!) So I forked out the $8 for an Uber instead.

The rooms are big and clean. Plenty of amenities. Their own restaurant, pool, vendors, auditorium and the works. Courteous staff that were willing to help. Shuttle to take you to the airport or the train station. Location is convenient for airline travelers but not so convenient if you live in the city and don't drive but it is worth it if you want a quality overnight stay. Would recommend this place to anybody.

just stayed with the La Guardia Plaza hotel over the weekend with our soccer team. They were amazing. Rooms were very clean they kept our team on the same level. Staff was so helpful and friendly.
