Property's Green Action

Certifications

Green Globe

Green Globe’s International Standard for Sustainable Tourism is a certification scheme that requires hotels to report on their sustainability performance throughout their supply chains. It traces its roots back to the United Nations Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992, where 182 Heads of State endorsed the Agenda 21 principles of Sustainable Development. The standards are a collection of over 330 compliance indicators that are applied to 41 individual sustainability criteria - these can be divided into four themes:

• Sustainable Management
• Social/Economic
• Cultural Heritage
• Environmental

Clients can calculate their CO2e footprint, the financial cost of that CO2e, and track their performance of energy and water consumption and non-recyclable waste production. The certification is only awarded to members that have a compliance rating of at least 51%. The award can then only be maintained if members continually improve by 3% every year.

The Green Key

Green Key is an eco-label awarded to around 3,200 hotels and other sites in more than 65 countries worldwide. Achieving the Green Key award requires compliance with a range of criteria, including:

• Comply with legislation and CSR policy within the areas of environment, health, safety, and labor
• Prepare an environmental/sustainability policy and action plan
• Train staff on environmental/sustainability issues
• Display information about Green Key and other environmental/sustainability initiatives
• Display information about local transportation and nearby parks/conservation areas
• Implement water-saving initiatives in guest rooms, e.g. flow restrictors in taps and showers, smart watering initiatives of the garden, etc.
• Install program for the reuse of towels and/or sheets in guest rooms
• Separate waste and implementation of waste saving initiatives (including food waste)
• Avoid the use of chemical cleaning products with dangerous compounds
• Safe storage of chemical products
• Stationary and paper are environmentally friendly produced
• Implement energy-saving initiatives in guest rooms, e.g. energy-efficient light bulbs, standard-defined heating/cooling temperature, etc.
• Purchase of food/beverage products that are organic, eco-labeled, fair-trade labeled, and/or locally produced
• Avoid chemical pesticides and fertilizers in green areas
• Staff areas fulfill the same requirements as guests and public areas
• Encourage cooperation with suppliers and local community on environmental/sustainability matters

Recently visited Paris and had high afternoon tea here. The inside of the hotel and the cafe antonia are gorgeous. The staff were busy but very attentive. I was able to book reservations for tea via email, as they’re required for high tea. There was a good selection of tea, and each of us received our own pot and three tier tray. Everything was very good.

Great setting in the internal French Gardens that reopen after one year of work. Food was delicious and service was Five Stars. Waiters were discreet but always available with a simple glance.

It's an amazing place, beautiful, colors in great harmony, ideal place to spend time with a friend or even by yourself, to chill, relax and spend a great time. I suggest classic tea for afternoon tea. You're gonna have three pastries + 4 little sandwiches. You're never gonna forget their taste 😁 the service is a bit slow but it's definitely worth it.

Excellent Hotel that has character, one of Paris’s finest.

The facilities in the hotel are of great quality, the lobby is spacious and luxurious, everyone from Receptionest to bell boy are great and courteous.

Rooms are large, very clean, and shouts “you are in Paris”. The little things they leave for you in the room from chocolate to the scented candles are the highest quality.

The only thing I didn’t like in the hotel was their Gym, apparently the hotel was built before people thought they needed to exercise indoors.

Anyway, if you got the means to stay there please do experience it, at least once in your life.

Highly recommended property. Enjoy.

One of the best hotels in Paris. Really nice equipped, swimming pool area, fitness and so on. Regarding the food it has a lot of place for improvement and unfortunately is average. The breakfast also can be be much better and have more options.

Excellent food with warm and attentive service. I had the seasnal menu. The sole brown butter sauce was a little too salty for my taste
The next time I personally would skip the cheese course because it was too much food for me. I also discovered that macorons are too sweet for me. The 5 star rating still holds.

Gorgeous hotel. Epicure was amazing. Only 4vstars because for the price, we have had better Michelin meals. But the staff, food and wine were terrific

I booked the Paris Gateway package at the Spa at Le Bristol and it was easily the best spa I’ve ever visited. I was told to arrive 30 minutes early if I wanted a steam treatment, which I availed myself of. When I was done, my technician brought me to the treatment room where I received a foot scrub and a massage. An INCREDIBLE massage. Next was the signature facial. It was so relaxing I actually fell asleep. Afterwards, my makeup-free face was glowing! The package ended with a private 30 minutes in my room with gourmet snacks and tea. An overall wonderful experience with top of the line products and experienced staff.

Not need to much to say about a Michelin rated restaurant. I'd just say it's everything that you heard and read. Great food, great staff, great wine menu, all good. Recommendation is to order the beef which was definitely one of the best ones I've ever eaten. I repeated it. Enjoy.

The staff here is incredible - they go out of heir way to help, learn your name, and make you feel welcome. The restaurants are also just absurd; I’ve probably never eaten as well as I did there (the breakfast!!)

Dated, old, and shut doors for late check-ins. Rooms small, no view, noisy. Not the standard expected for a hotel of that name. Staff not impolite but not friendly either.

I can honestly say this was the best hotel stay we have ever had. The property is ridiculously attractive looking both internally and externally. The staff are the most genuinely friendly and accommodating people I have ever experienced with knowledge of the hotel history and the surrounding area. The rooms were understated but of the utmost luxury and the dining / relaxing facilities out-did the photos by a considerable measure. The dog facilities totally exceeded our expectations as well (pic attached). On top of that, we were treated so specially even when surrounded by celebrities, designers and models during Paris Fashion week.

Thank you so much to all the staff that made our stay so special, especially the hotel manager and the front desk. We are very excited to come back at some point in the future for a longer visit

Exceptional hotel: elegant space, timeless decor, very large rooms and bathrooms especially for Paris, a concierge staff that gives 100% effort and make everything right (especially if it wasn't perfect at first), and the best chambre housekeeping staff that keeps your room and property spotless!! You don't even see or hear from the chambre staff; they appear magically! I'm a neat freak and they impressed me!

Great location, very nice facilities. Breakfast options were very limited, but good. Lobby bar is cool. Room was a nice size but not intended for 2 people at all. Their 'twin' rooms are 2 tiny twin size beds. Don't try to turn over. Turning on the bathroom light turned on the lights in the whole room waking up your roommate. No locks on any doors, bathroom toilet room. Very poorly designed room.

The place and restaurant is simply gorgeous. Food was very good and the combination of ingredients and tastes was superb. As a main dish, I had duck with a side of pineapple tortellini (it was so delicious I didn't get to take a picture of it... sorry...) The rest of the meal was also very nice, specially the desert with raspberries and a light mousse of coconut

Definitely my favorite hotel in Paris. The rooms are excellent the staff is very friendly and attentive. The must in old school Parisian luxury. The location is great very close to Champs Élysée and Place de la Concorde. Breakfast in the mornings was great as well; and really try afternoon tea. However while the service and quality is amazing expect the prices to be eye watering as well.

Amazing hotel!!!!! Beautiful atmosphere and absolutely charming! Very well trained staff, they all very caring. My treatment in a Spa was incredible, after 80 minute of facial caring ritual, it feels to me like I did not only facial , but had whole body procedure, I was absolutely relaxed and happy!
I truly recommend stay there even once! A lot of history you can feel inside that bring to this place something unforgettable.. Ohhh and of course famous white cats: Princess and Pharaoh!
