Certifications

Green Globe

Green Globe’s International Standard for Sustainable Tourism is a certification scheme that requires hotels to report on their sustainability performance throughout their supply chains. It traces its roots back to the United Nations Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992, where 182 Heads of State endorsed the Agenda 21 principles of Sustainable Development. The standards are a collection of over 330 compliance indicators that are applied to 41 individual sustainability criteria - these can be divided into four themes:

• Sustainable Management
• Social/Economic
• Cultural Heritage
• Environmental

Clients can calculate their CO2e footprint, the financial cost of that CO2e, and track their performance of energy and water consumption and non-recyclable waste production. The certification is only awarded to members that have a compliance rating of at least 51%. The award can then only be maintained if members continually improve by 3% every year.

Dear Hotel Du Collectionneur!

I spent 3 nights in the hotel and enjoyed very much. I loved the breakfast fresh juices specially.
The only thing I would have appreciated if the gym would be open 24 hours.
Best wishes,
Sophia

This place is very nice! We stayed here with a big group and they accommodate us very nicely... The whole staff always had a great smile and were friendly... Rooms were always clean and the bed had the perfect firmness we like! Very good located, great neighborhood !

This is not definitely a 5 star hotel. The room is nice, comfortable bed and well-equipped bathroom. However, at the hallway, there were so many dirty dishes on the floor that no one cleaned up right away. The room doesn’t protect noise so you can still here other guests screaming, slamming the door etc.

Staff were nice. I would say this is a 4 star hotel in my view. It might used to be good in the past but our experiences were definitely diFferent.

The staff is nice and the rooms are what we wanted. The location is in a good spot with nice restaurants and cafes close by. There is also a really good park 3 minutes away

Wonderfully pleasant hotel - we had a generous room, very clean, with a large bathroom. The bar staff is friendly and at tentative although the bar itself is a bit tight on space. 4 stars given based on a lengthy check in/out line but the morning breakfast is 5 stars all the way.

For 500 dollars a night, this hotel is not worth it.

The hotel itself is beautiful.

The problems start when you get to the room.

The carpet is purple. The hallways stink moldy and wet.

The curtains are dirty.

The room is tiny And the bathroom is even smaller.

If you are 5’10 or taller, when you shower the entire bathroom will be filled with water.

There is no shower curtain. Again the bathroom is so tiny 2 adults cannot stand shoulder to shoulder.

Motel 6 bathrooms are better. Due to this hotel ‘s bathroom size and antiquated design, this hote would qualify as a 2 star yet all sites rate it as a five star. Avoid at all costs. Unless you can get for 100 or less. Not worth it.

Horrible and I have it booked for 4 nights. Nothing I can do but will never book here again.

Nice hotel. The room A/C was not very good and had a hard time cooling the room during a hot summer day there.

The place looks nice save for a drab green in the hallways - it’s what I would consider a five star hotel by appearance. But the service was generally sub-par. We had booking problems for an extra nights stay that 3 receptionists could not rectify. Our room door lock failed and would not lock. The room was not cleaned on one day (in fairness I can live with that, but for the cost and reputation of the hotel it is disappointing). We also left our room at 9 one morning passing old room service trays still to be cleaned from the night before. The food is quite expensive, even though it is Paris. To top it off, the toilet was not even secured to the wall or floor!! Pretty speechless and frustrated with the stay

Best hotel in Paris. They go above the average boutique hotel by providing a handy phone (mobile phone with data) that you can take outside as you please. Access to the spa, fantastic breakfast buffet and gorgeous garden area.

Great place to stay, perfect environment for family and friends trip. Hotel staff are amazing, Jeffery at the reception was very welcoming along with the other members of staff. Very close to the Courcelles metro station and walking distance from Arc de Triomphe. Breakfast was on point, if only they had hash browns & baked beans - that would have been the cherry on top.

Very old and tired hotel in need of a desperate refurb. The buffet breakfast was a real flop - mostly cereals and stale croissants. Can't see how this is a five star property in comparison to others in the same category in Paris?

It's an excellent hotel with a wonderful, courteous staff. The breakfast buffet is very impressive. It's also a short walk to the Metro station at the Place de Charles de Gaulle which will get you to almost all the main tourist attractions in Paris.

A nice-looking hotel in a good location, but not the best stay. We expected more from a 5 star hotel - the rooms were far too hot even with air conditioning, the rooms weren't properly stocked (we had no tea or coffee in our room, and not enough mugs or glasses either) and everytime we would ask for more mugs, it would take at least 45 mins for them to arrive. One time they didn't arrive at all!
We were also disappointed with the service at breakfast. Whilst we appreciate it was very busy, the tables were not properly laid so again, when asking for things like spoons or mugs or even tea/coffee, we would have to ask at least three times. Even then, we didn't always receive what we needed, so many times we just gave up with asking.
All in all, the experience was very mediocre. Thankfully we still had a lovely time in Paris but the hotel stay was not a highlight.

Nice hotel, staff helpful, breakfast good, hotel room a little tired, could be cleaner. Rooms are really hot even with the air conditioning on. Had to have window wide open and then room temperature was still 20 and over! Very noisy with window open as the garden side of the hotel amplified all the sounds outside. We also had to share a bed with our 8 year old, not even a camp bed. Sleep has been very disturbed. Room service is very expensive. Location ok but would prefer more central. I would not stay here again.

The hotel is very nice with good room services. The hotel location is nice and close to public transportation. The room has good furniture, yet it is considered to be old. The spacing is adequate and the rooms consider Muslims needs such as Qibla and Shattafa. Taxi is always available.

5

Nice clean room with big TV and friendly staff. The lamp on one side of the bed was not connected to the controller so it could not be switched off; the shower pressure was low; the TV remote control was not working; the sink was not draining properly. The most annoying thing was that whenever someone was closing a door the walls were moving and a loud and disturbing noise could be heard.

This is a nice hotel however for the cost it isn’t amazing. The staff were friendly enough and very helpful. Nice bar downstairs. Room service costs were very expensive but the service for room service was great. Our mini bar wasn’t stocked which wasn’t a problem however when checking out we were incorrectly charged for drinks and snacks from the mini bar! They quickly rectified but I had to sign a number of receipts to say the items were removed from my bill- but strange really but I’m assuming an honest mistake.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

This is clearly below expectations. It could be a very nice hotel had it been kept to the standard I am sure it once was. However, rooms are worn, and the same with many other details. Our “deluxe” suite was simply two standard rooms connected via doors. We had access to the executive floor with breakfast, afternoon tea, champagne and more, which was nice, but overall our stay was disappointing for the money we paid. Marbled floors to no avail. And it makes little sense to park a Ferrari and a
Maserati outside.

I love this hotel except the fact that when you head the purple bar you always have to be behind the waiter or let them understand that you're not a regular customer so they do care or pay attention to the detals. Thats horrible especially when you pay. The customer service for a 5* hotel sucks. The bottle service is the worst ever, too much wait and not enough attention for some so called professional pretending to have done some school but the barmaid is amazing

Room smaller than it looked in the picture. Bathtub had some chips. Hot water tap very hard to turn. Very comfortable bed. Free phone device provided that had access to maps and other useful information. Mine didn't work, but staff very helpful to get it replaced. An extra 40 euros pp for breakfast a bit steep given the price. Room service equally overpriced. Small fridge provided with computerised minibar that had a very small section available for personal use. Overall, very nice, but very pricey for the size.

Restaurant, bar, downstairs closed due to private function. "Room service" took 25 minutes so was cancelled = "no service". Breakfast bread- only few slices of ordinary white bread left well before 9am. Tables not cleared. Coffe /tea service hard to get. Seating always too far away. 4 NOT 5 star nights.

This is such a lovely hotel, to remind you there is such a thing as perfection ♥ Excellent location, excellent amenities, the Jacuzzi outstanding, everything was so perfect that I wish I was there now. Made my stay romantic, comfortable and to never forget. Only bad thing was that the Eiffel tower restaurant was in refurbishment so we were not able to have dinner in it. That was a real shame because we were looking fwd to it,

It's very hard to find a reasonably priced and nice hotel in Paris, so when I came across this hotel on Expedia, I was very skeptic, but booked anyway. WOW. WOW. WOW. This hotel definitely surprised me. The location is killer, only a 10 min walk from the Arc de Triomphe and access to the Champs-Élysées. The hotel staff were extremely professional and courteous, allowing my family to check-in earlier after a 5 hour red-eye flight. The rooms where very clean and spacious and the beds were some of the most comfortable I've ever slept on. Service was tops as well. All in all, one of the best stays I've ever had. This will be our go-to hotel from now on every time we visit Paris.

We only went to the brunch on a Sunday morning, there was excellent service, very polite. The place is wonderfully decorated, what you would expect from such a high quality hotel.

The food is very good and very varied (much more than any other brunch), they have oister, lobster, foie gras and so on.
There's also some live cooking which is very interesting.

They also have the pastries that make a "classical" brunch.

For the beverage, the orange juice is very good (seemed made from freshly pressed orange).

One drawback, the dessert are really not up to par with the rest, they are quite blend, hence the star removed.

Given all that the price is quite okay, at 65 euro the buffet per person.

Just reached today and discovered that no interconnected rooms been reserved !!!!

I'm in one room and my kids of 12, 8 and 4 years old in other room , 4 meters away from me !!!

They have promised me to solve the issue by tomorrow,,

let's see otherwise I'm thinking to look for other hotel by tomorrow early morning, a hotel which will take Customer convenience seriously .

:(

Today is the third day and I haven't receive neither reply to my complain nor apology

Seems that this hotel doesn't know nothing about customer service or satisfaction !!!

I would not recommend. This hotel to any one .
