This place is heaven in Mauritius. Beautiful venue, lots of space and massive. Beaches are windy and beautiful, infinity pool and ask you can eat dinners. A must visit if you want to kick back and relax. The beds are amazing too.

Beautiful location, excellent rooms, unbeatable beach and all kinds of hidden corners where to hang out. Food exceeded all expectations both in the buffet and all restaurants. Only complaint is how person came to the door every single afternoon, quite insistently asking if everything was alright, getting inside the room to check the towels, something that should be done by room service same time as cleaning. Very disruptive. All the rest was amazing. Highly recommended.

Overall excellent experience but the only negative was that you use too many towels!! I was more than willing to keep my towels for a couple of days at least but there was no option- they were changed regardless. I understand you’re catering for people who are perhaps less green but make it easier to keep our towels :-)

The hotel is excellent. Staff are very friendly, especially Olivier, the Head Waiter, the pool waiters, the assistant housekeeping manager, the restaurant staff, the porters, etc. Good is abundant, but mediocre. Drinks are extremely expensive. 140 Rupees for filtered water. Astronomical. We would go back again.

I was rather surprised that having paid the all inclusive tariff that half the choices on the menus were with a supplement. My girlfriend only eats fish so her choices were even more limited. Otherwise all staff were so helpful and we were made so welcome at Tides, Sapori and Chopsticks. All other staff need to be congratulated on their service from reception beach housekeeping etc.

My family and I had a wonderful time at the resort. The staff were extremely courteous and helpful.The selection of food and beverages at the restaurants is amazing, especially the huge array of desserts and baked stuffs. The beach and pool experiences were great too. We enjoyed every bit of our stay at Long Beach. I would totally recommend Long Beach!!

We have been able to enjoy some days in different Hotels in Mauritius , but we were very surprised to see your labor force at work in the Restaurant and also around the beach...they were omnipresent , ready to help , rapid service ...Great Improvement: I think it's important that Mauritian can also enjoy your Hotel during summer at a good price...Night entertainment is "Fair". At departure time , I was a bit disappointed ....There was any sharing of experience between your staff and us ...It was just , your bill / you cash the money / Bye... Garden:Well maintained...I would recommend that mulch is used to cover bare soil under all your shrubs...

We stayed during two week for our honeymoon. Overall experience really satisfied, the food was excellent, and everything was well maintained and clean. All staff did make us feel welcome and like wanted guests. Beautiful surroundings and nice buildings, and a clean and good beach. The good stuff: - The main bar was staffed by excellent service minded people, especially Vick! - The infinity pool was a real pleasure, very calm and quiet. The best sun beds we have ever experienced! - The Italian restaurant prepared some remarkable meals for us. - The taxi booking service personnel did go the extra mile to make us happy. - We had to visit the hotel's medical office a few times for small things, really happy with professional staff and good availability. Some things could be better though: - The buffé restaurant that was quite disappointing to be frank (food was not especially hot, and also quite bland in taste), not really a big problem as AL guest we did have the choice of eating at the à la carte restaurants. - Biggest issue was the evening "entertainment" at the only bar. Way too loud and no way to escape, most nights the performance was sub par. - We saw cockroaches at two times in our room. When we talked to the staff, they did send the cleaning crew who did their best to deal with the problem. We would absolutely visit this hotel again given the opportunity.

We had a very good time since we arrived at the reception, until we left the hotel. The treatment of all the staff, especially Dolores was unique and helped us in all our doubts and needs about the Hotel. The food is very varied and the different spaces of the Hotel, allow to be comfortable both couples and families. Hotel totally recommended.

The personnel at the hotel are very nice! From the waiters to the spa therapeutist and those at the entrace! Helpful indeed :) The treatment i had at the spa was excellent💯🌸 Delicious food as well! Looking forward to go there again☺ And it's a beautiful place to be at💯🌊

The only negative about our four night stay with you was the evening entertainment. Parts were good but it was loud and we did not have one dance. Some of our party retired to the empty Tides Bar and an exceptional waiter looked after them away from the noise.

The purpose of this vacation was for myself and my wife to celebrate our 10 year anniversary. It was never expected for Long Beach and it’s staff to turn this special occasion into the greatest moment in our lives. Your’ll have created memories that will forever be etched in our lives. We were treated like royalty and I cannot find ways to thank you. It is every husbands dream to give the best to his wife and your’ll have made my dream possible. This hotel ticks all the boxes of what an ideal vacation should be like. The challenge for me now is to identify another hotel that can better Long Beach and that might prove to be an impossible challenge considering you have raised the standard to a very high level. Rest assured we will be visiting your shores again in future.

We paid for the service. Like tourists. Didn't want my friend to upgrade her Meal Plan from Half to All Inclusive, because she is Mauritian!!! Unacceptable. She wanted to pay, but they refused. We are human. And I've ordered a cake for my birthday since Friday... they didn't find the cake on Saturday! Mr Ven helped and I've got my cake at 11.35pm on Saturday night Need some improvement. But overall, it was good.

Problems with Spanish conference group. Whilst there, they were being rude to both staff and other holiday makers. We had to go back to our room as they were out of control. When having large groups of 150 they should have their own area away from paying holiday makers. Our room had ants which was dealt with after a few days. Mini bar wasn't replenished over the 2 weeks stay. Staff are very friendly

The food is excellent. The room is clean. The Reception area needs some cleaning wrt decorations above - there was a small bee nest. The Spa (hammam/ sauna ) is not free to the clients. The only way to use it was to book a massage.Overall Experience is good

Excellent rooms, top of the line service and delicious food. Stayed at the hotel for two weeks, all inclusive, at the beginning of February. We had some issues with the air con and the phone/internet so half through we changed rooms. Room are big and luxurious. House keeping did an excellent job, often visited twice during the day. The gym was in great condition, treadmills, bike, cross-country, free weights and around eight machines. If you staid close to the main pool, the infinity pool or the beach outside Tides you got excellent service through out the day (water, drinks, snacks and lunch). We visited four of the five restaurants (skipped the Japanese one). The food was always well prepared and ranged from good to excellent. Mostly the later. The service was always really good and the personell was always easy to talk to and forthcoming. Would defiantly visit again and recommend!

The hotel and facilities are great. Good for kids and relaxing. Biggest problem is service in the restaurants and especially at the pool. Far too few staff to service the guests. Often have to ask 3 or 4 times for the same thing and then they still get it wrong. Ruins the whole holiday!

The hospitality was excellent,my staff enjoyed their short and sweet stay with you and we had great fun.The food was very good thanks to the kitchen staff who did really tasty food in a full house hotel. The porter was a bit slow I had to wait for 30 mins in my room to get my suitcases collected. He mentioned that the charging the Caddy takes 8 hours to recharge.I think that you should look into plan B cause I was sitting in my room with cleaners around cause you had other guest waiting.This is the first time I experience this situation in a 5 star hotel.This is only a constructive criticism.

The reception at the hotel was very disappointing. We had 3 young children but were told to unload the car ourselves and move it immediately. Normally at a five star hotel, a porter would have unloaded for us and valet parked the car. Check in took a long time. The receptionist then made us walk, carrying two small children to the other end of the resort. Apparently he couldn’t find the keys to the golf buggy. He didn’t offer to even carry a bag. We found some of the waiting staff in the restaurant to be unhelpful. When we asked for purée for the baby they told us to go and find a chef rather than dealing with our request. The different uniforms of the staff were very confusing and it was hard to actually know who worked in the hotel and who was a guest. Despite having contacted the hotel in advance about my dairy allergy, nothing was prepared in advance and it took me 3 days to be able to speak to the pastry chef and ask for appropriate desserts. When I did so, the chefs were very helpful. The kids club was chaotic when we arrived. An unsupervised child threw a tennis ball in our baby’s face so we didn’t return. The climbing wall was a great idea but having a concrete slab at the bottom with a thin mat on it was not safe. The phones didn’t work in our room and we had to ask for them to be fixed 3 times before they were repaired. Overall the experience was very impersonal. We did enjoy our stay but with a little more effort from the staff it could have been excellent.

Just loved this Hotel and resort with its beautiful beach and tropical setting. Restaurants Excellent the staff were great nothing too much trouble for them. The pools were superb, with one great for children. A great and excellent experience . Top class.

A great resort. Kids loved the pool which is very big, but with many levels so that kids of any age can find an area to suit their height and ability in the water. Also loved that there are games like the water polo and football that you can simply join in as desired. The different restaurants also gave a good variety of great food. Very helpful staff, especially when we had a sick child who needed some attention.

The service at the restaurants was poor, we had to ask for things several times before they came. I would order a drink and that staff member would order from another staff member rather than getting the drink themselves. We ordered baby food for our one year old and day in advance for a certain time, but yet the staff failed to pass this message on to the chefs. The mini bar was not filled everyday. The morning cleaner was brilliant she was the most helpful staff member. Our little one was not well one day and she noticed this and told us there was an on-site nurse we could take her to and this was a free service.

Apart from having to wait until 2 o'clock to get into our room after arriving at about 7 o'clock, the rest of our stay was superb. The rooms were very nice and clean, the restaurants were very good. Pool and bathing area was very good. But the most satisfying thing for us were the staff, every one we're very friendly and helpful. Thanks for a brilliant 2wks.

Feedback: - Food, very good - Service, from good to very good - Information, could be better with a folde on the room containing all relevant information about the hotel. The weekly program information was good, and in the reservation area. - Asian restaurant could have some better service grade from ordering to dessert end, but good food :) - Lighting in the walking area from the rooms and all the way to reception area should be better, especially down to the Sea Spa, this is as serious safety issue. - Pool area with sunbeds was very nice, perfect. - Beach area was very nice, could be a bit bigger area to swim out from the beach, the net was too close to the beach. The coral snorkeling area was beautiful though :) - Check out day was very good arranged for all inclusive customers. We could eat and drink all the day before leaving 18:00 on the evening, very good. - The Sea Spa treatment was very good, but we did not get clear information of what to do before the treatment, so a bit more clear information would be nice. Overall experience was good :) - All restaurants delivered very good foot with good service as a overall impression. To make it perfect it could be nice to have the ordered wine for the dinner served together with the food, and not a long time after you have start to eat. - Bar service was very good as a overall impression. Some staff in the pool bar had some problem with serving the correct drink, and 2 times the drink was not good at all. But 90% of the times the cocktails and service was very good :) - Thank you for a wonderful time at Long Beach Hotel :)

Unbelievable stay and superb on every level. The rooms were very comfortable, the food was amazing, great choice and very high quality, the resort is beautiful and facilities great. What really made the holiday very special however was the service provided by everyone there. Nothing was too much trouble and all the staff were genuinely happy to help to make the holiday extra special. Would definitely recommend the resort and will be back.

We spent about 8 days at Longbeach - we had a fabulous holiday and you can experience the true feeling of Mauritius hospitality. The staff were extremely receptive and they made the stay very comfortable - they are always aiming to please which is refreshing. The pool, spa, beach and restaurants were all top class and I am seriously considering revisiting the place again in the near future.

Staying at Long Beach was an amazing experience. The staff are attentive, nothing is a problem. The rooms are kept beautifully clean for you. The resort is well laid out, clean and tidy. Our children were able to make their way around with confidence. Our holiday was perfect and we will definitely be coming back.

It was a wonderful holiday. We all enjoyed it enormously and the level of customer service was high, and well appreciated. The restaurants were of very good quality indeed, and the pool was well kept. One thing the resort could have done with is a shop with more day-to-day items in it. There was a shop with a few items in it, but more would have been useful. The two shops mainly had clothes for sale, but should have been more reasonably priced. Brand name swim shorts at up to $150 seemed utterly excessive. These were my only gripes, but all in all, a fantastic time was had by us and our young children, and would definitely recommend to others!

Food quality at chopsticks is superb, it's best out of all dining place at long beach.. Chef was kind hearted to prepare dishes specially for us.. Navnish, the staff at the chopstick was too friendly and very polite... Housekeeping is at par with any 5*hotel.. It's winter over here,, the perfect time to visit this place. Macaron in desert at chopstick was delicious.. Mauritian buffet was really good had Indian flavour in some of it's dishes...

What a place! The staff are amazing. Right from start to finish they were friendly, recognise you indivially and nothing is too much trouble. The hotel, gardens and facilities are breathtaking and the beach is something to behold. We were genuinely very sad to be coming home after two weeks and would recommend this place to anyone looking for a relaxing break in paradise.

Wonderful, wonderful experience. My wife and I came here for our honeymoon for 10 nights and we had a great experience. The hotel is beautiful, the staff incredible and the service was out of this world. We were treated like royalty from start to finish. Wow, wow, wow. We would recommend staying here "all inclusive". We would also recommend taking "aqua shoes". The beach is beautiful and great for swimming but can be a little rocky. The coral is quite close to the shore and great for snorkling with a wonderful array of exotic fishes. It is worth taking snorkiling equipment with you as the ones sold in resort are not very good and pricey. We would like to say a special thanks to Jen and Marie Noelle in the Sapori restaurant, to Ben in the le marche buffet in the evening (who would get me cold Blue Marlin beer, very appreciated) and to Vivek in the night time bar. I also want to say a very special thanks to Krish, Mozahim and Nitesh for looking after us during the day. They would come everyday to the beach with a huge smile and take our orders and bring us beer and cocktails even if we were far away from the bar. Incredible guys, thanks so much. Farsana at summer time tours was especially helpful for booking excursions at great prices. My wife and I are very happy we chose Long beach and hope to go back.The resort is wonderful with many activities and top entertainment at night.

Stayed here for two weeks and couldn't have had a more relaxing time. The hotel and beach are amazing and the staff couldn't be more friendly. My only slight criticism was that at the end of the stay the restaurant choices became more limited as there are only 5.

The place is beautiful, with well placed hotel rooms on the shore. However, the beach shore was not as clean as it could be. The bigger concern that I had with this resort was the customer service that was terrible. I would rate it 2/10 for customer service. We had a huge issue about the dress code for dinner at any restaurant in this resort. No prior information was provided about a dress code for men in a beach resort like this. To add to it, the hotel managers did a terrible job of making up for the fiasco it turned out to be.
