Absolutely fabulous. The Mandarin Oriental luxury hotel ring is one everyone single person on this earth HAS to experience whether it be one night or two weeks. Staff- WONDERFUL. They are incredibly helpful and theres plenty of things to do within the hotel. From a spa treatment to socializing with other guests at their SKY bar, this is one hotel you cannot miss in Las Vegas.

Love this Hotel. On par with the Park Hyatt in Tokyo. They have a valet closet where you put your shoes in and they disappear and come back shined. They put ice buckets, extra pillows etc. All without having to answer the door. Absolutely love that feature and couple that with the amazing oriental bathroom, it's top notch. It's a shame it will become a Waldorf Astoria at the end of this month. They have a high bar to try and keep.

Went for their tea service. It's lovely but they didn't have enough tea pots with lids and so my friend and my sister had to wait awhile for their tea and were told to let the waiter know when they wanted tea because they weren't allowed to pour themselves. Seemed like it was a liability issue. The food from the tea service was really yummy scones, ham sandwich, truffle egg salad croissant, smoked salmon, and the desserts were so cute. The sugar for the tea was also in such a creative fun form, it was on rock candy on little wooden sticks. So it doubles as sweetener and a stirrer.

Had High Tea the Tea Lounge. The sandwiches and scones are wonderful. Some of the desserts are great, some are too sweet for our liking. Staff are very pleasant, especially the bell staff, offering to store our luggage when they realize we are just there for tea. Luggage retrieval was also very quick. The only issues we had were 1) the lobby bathroom smells like dirty pipes (this is not a very old building, it shouldn't smell this way), 2) fragrance in the lobby and, hence, Tea Lounge area (I know it is a thing for hotels nowadays, but we have fragrance allergy, so to us it is very insensitive of hotels to ignore the fact that there may be people who suffers from this type of allergy) and 3) the girls at the Tea Lounge wasn't being super careful in putting tea pots, cups and plates down, causing louder than necessary noises, which diminished the nice atmosphere of the dining area. Otherwise, things were very nice.Nice

Having Tea at the MO is one of my all time favorite things to do in all the land. Seriously though this place could not be any more soothing and classy. It truly lives up to it's reputation every time I visit. I love how the entrance even is somewhat shrouded in mystery. But for real go have high tea here and prepare to feel like the Queen you most surely seem to be. It not only serves the high tea experience better than most - it has one of the best strip views in all of Glitter Town.

Non-gaming hotel on the strip not too far from all the central action places. Walkable to any destination and, or shopping and dining. Zen like decor quiet setting will definitely tranquil you like no other places you have been before. I usually have associates over and chill out at Mandarin bar with view of the strip. It never disappoint here. If you are tired from all the noise from casinos this place will rejuvenate you even if you don't stay here.

What happened to the lobby bar? It’s shabby. The floors are clearly neglected and need resurfacing, the foot rail at the bar is broken. There’s no more live jazz. It’s house music. If I wanted to go to a trashy Vegas lounge with music blaring I wouldn’t expect it at this property. I want a place to relax and be able to have a conversation with my guests not be one step away from Jersey Shore bottle service. So much for dress codes. This is NOT a beach cabana.

There’s a champagne vending machine in the reception lobby. This hotel used to be understated and elegant not down-market trashy. This belongs at The Cosmopolitan, not The Mandarin. Once you stoop to appeal to a lower standard of elegant, you’ll never get your reputation back.

Get your act together.

Luxurious and beautiful building both inside and outside. No casino here so definite more quiet. Aria is a few steps down the block though if you want to gamble. The actual rooms are nice enough but could use an update.

Food is good. All orders are made fresh. A great hole in the wall Chinese restaurant. It is on the strip right across from Aria. Down side is can get the exact same thing I got there back home in Indiana for half the price. Because of being right on the strip expect meals to be about $12.00 a plate.

The room was sublime. My favorite chain hotel room & bath ever. The location is central, yet the hotel is quiet and secluded since it has no casino. Friendly, efficient service and great food in MOzen. What I didn't like: (1) our group reserved a large block of rooms, but it didn't help us when it came to using hotel services. I wish at the very least the hotel staff would have suggested to us that we make a reservation for the hotel bar far in advance of staying there. Too bad there wasn't a better effort to prioritize hotel guests. (2) the spa was fine, but I don't feel the need to go back. (3) my only afternoon tea experiences have been in London and the tea experience here did. not. compare. I would skip.

I chose this hotel for my family because it had high ratings. It was a bit confusing especially when you've had a few drinks.
When you walk in the registration is not at the bottom you have to take an elevator up to a top floor then you take another elevator to your rooms.
The rooms were nice and clean and the bed was comfortable.
The valet was not free $35.00 a night.
Someone told me this hotel is also a residence. Not sure if that is correct.

We had afternoon tea. The food and tea were delicious, the scones were a little on the crumbly side. My only complaint was the seating we had a window seat which gave us a great view. On one side of the table was a couch you sink into making very difficult to enjoy your family and on the other side were chairs that felt more like a wooden plank with a not comfortable cushion.

Very nice and modern hotel with a great location at the center of the Strip. One nice feature: the place does NOT have a casino. This allows you to take a nice break from it all and reenergize, while having everything easily accessible. In room dining was nice. There is an area for afternoon tea next to the reception which is lovely - great views and superb afternoon tea.

This place is so nice I feel like I bring the quality of the establishment down by being there. It is probably the nicest building I've ever been in. Wow. We only stopped for a drink, and the lobby/bar is on the 23rd floor! It's an amazing building and cool architecture. 5 stars well earned.

Service at The Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas is top notch from the moment you arrive. All the staff are super friendly and helpful. Had a standard king room and it has to be one of the nicest rooms I have ever stayed in. Would highly recommend for anyone who wants to stay on The Strip and doesn't care about having a casino in your hotel.

We stayed the weekend here for our Anniversary and we loved it! They did everything we requested and bent over backwards to make our stay wonderful! They upgraded us to a Strip View Room when we got there. They gave us chocolate covered Strawberries for our Anniversary which was a nice touch. We loved the large bath tub and the bath salts. My wife used it multiple times and she was in heaven. We loved our view. Amazing! The location was top notch, nothing was too far to walk too. So close to T Mobile arena where we went to a show. We love that there is no Casino or Smoking here. We would get back from a day on the strip and it was so relaxing to get away from the crowds. We just felt so relaxed once we walked back into the building. We will be back because we love all the small things they do for us. Our favorite Hotel we ever stayed at. You won’t be disappointed staying here.

Absolutely stunning - Sheer elegance with beautiful suites and epic views. This hotel screams exclusivity and elegance. During our 1 week stay we enjoyed room service, the pool/patio area and a relaxing couples massage in their delux spa. Truly unforgettable experience. Pricey BUT definitely well worth it and highly recommended. There is no question that we will return again and again.

Great place to stay in Las Vegas. Services were great, smoke free hotel, well maintained, and clean. Second hand smoke in Las Vegas is a serious problem and thus, we choose this hotel because it was smoke-free. Except for people smoking at the entrance door, the hotel was smoke-free, and we enjoyed our stay there. We definitely stay here again.

Came here for the tea lounge. They let us sit and have tea without a reservation but made it pretty clear that we had to be done and out within an hour. Tea is great (but of course pricey). We couldn't order food because they only a limited quantity of pastries per day apparently. The view from the lounge is amazing though. Probably best to make a reservation before going to the tea lounge though.

What an amazing hotel. We had an unforgettable dining experience at Twist where we enjoyed the grand tasting menu and some of the best and most unique cocktails we'd ever had. Every course was artfully prepared and presented and the chef was kind enough to substitute another dish for the fois gras course for me. Outstanding in all ways including service. The restaurant also has an amazing view of the strip. What we got to see of the hotel and facilities were also gorgeous, and the quiet and serene ambiance was a great refresher from the hustle and bustle of everything else in the city.

The overall atmosphere of the hotel was luxurious from the scents and the music played in the lobby to the amenities in the room. I especially enjoyed breakfast at the MOzen Bistro and the bath salts that were provided in the room. The housekeeping staff was also very accommodating and friendly when they encountered me sleeping in the room well into the afternoon.

The bar here has been the most consistent and creative for craft cocktails out of anywhere on the strip, and I've been coming here for a few years now. I typically go here with a group of friends, and we always want to order a lot of drinks and leave feeling happy. We had a nice chat with the bartender during the last visit regarding the creative process. All of the bartenders typically come up with a few drinks that the executives then vote on to decide what goes on the menu. I though that was really neat and shows a lot of care for what cocktails are offered. The one downside I'd say is that they try to keep the drinks of a style where you could drink a few of the same drink in a row, so they typically steer away from heavier/creamier drinks or ones with really unique flavors that might not appeal to everyone. But the bright side of that is that you're unlikely to order something you won't like. The decor is very nice and the view here is awesome. You'll get a different experience if you come during the day (bright/calm/quiet) vs at night (dark/louder/live music), so consider both!

Singlehandedly and oasis in a manic city. Everything about this hotel is geared for comfort. It is in contrast to the hectic resort complexes with epic queues to crammed reception areas.
MAKE SURE: If you are in your room set the door mode to 'private' if you don't want to be disturbed.
CHECK OUT: the lounge, cocktail bar and pool at dawn for stunning views of the city.
100% would stay with this hotel again.

Fantastic choice for a quiet, relaxing (no casino) hotel on the strip. The sky lobby is super cool, it’s actually on the top floor and you access the rooms by going down the elevator. Right next door to the entrance to the Aria casino if the non-gaming aspect has got you questioning it.

Loved my stay at the Mandarin. Very nice rooms, with comfortable, plush beds and the service is too notch. It's in a very convenient location on the strip as well, yet set back enough that it's a little Oasis of calm. I plan on staying at this hotel in the future whenever I go to Vegas

First time at the Mandarin Las Vegas. Rather disappointing. First night in a room with very loud elevator noise, unable to sleep and surprised they would put any guest in that room. Had to move rooms and the second room the fridge did not work and lights came on at 5:00 AM for some reason. Maid service and turn down service was not every day. Locked out of the room one evening when the key did not work.
Somewhat inconvenient to ride multiple elevators up and down.
Thought that Mandarin Oriental was a better brand but not the case for me.

Amazing view, great service, and tasty drinks. The complementary bar snacks are also perfect for the drinks! Didn't have an opportunity to view the entire property, as I walked there from the Aria/Vdara and entered though a long that only allowed me to go to the 3rd or 23rd floor. The hotel was clean and everything was well maintained. The bathrooms were clean, and there were nice cloth towels. Would be interested in exploring further.

Very odd hotel. It's alone in a sea of connected hotels. They have a restaurant and a bar but anything else you need to go to another hotel. Even had to go to the Wynn for toothpaste. The room was way nice tho... Very weird it is a 5 star hotel but I had a fantastic time in Vegas with my amazing wife! :D

Great location in a lovely new high rise in the middle of the strip. Staff were friendly and attentive Spotty WiFi and the cheapest (small and scratchy) towels on the strip. They reminded me of a bad gym towel. So odd considering the brand equity MO has around the world for luxury and top tier guest experiences.

The hotel was full of sewer smells. In our hallway on floor fifteen it was somewhat strong. On floor eight, en route to the pool, it was downright rank.

The pool was obnoxious as kids were in the adult pool and nobody said anything. A very cramped space. Must go early to grab a lounge chair or two.

The Mandarin Bar on the 23rd floor offered amazing nighttime views of the strip but the food options were incredibly limited.

We usually stay at the Four Seasons and based off the four days we stayed at the Mandarin, we will be found back at the Four Seasons next time we're in town.

This is the best hotel I've stayed at in Vegas. Awesome amenities , such a friendly staff and really nice rooms. We got a suite to celebrate a birthday and we loved every minute of spending time in the room. Beautiful decor, really luxurious bathroom amenities including a soaking tub and shower stall, 2 sinks and a separate toilet room. The views are nice too, and the curtains operate electronically - they're blackout curtains too! I will definitely be returning! Other nice amenities include: the fitness center, pool and spa located on the 8th floor!

Really fantastic experience here. The service was phenomenal, the staff are exceptional, and the facilities are modern. This is my second time staying at the mandarin. If I could afford it I would stay here longer. I have stayed in some other posh hotels but I find this a step above. The rooms are impeccable which you would expect. What lifts the Mandarin Oriental is the service. It's as formal as you want it to be. They make every effort to go above and beyond. I never feel as well taken care of as when I am here. Not cheap but they deliver on the premium experience.

If you like class, charm, refinement, and no bros sneaking in suitcases of natty light through the lobby...then this is your hotel! No casino, no problem. That's how this place stays calm. Fight for your right to party all over the strip, then come back to your oasis of a hotel to rest and relax.

What a surprise! We were walking the strip and we somehow came across the Mandarin Oriental in our exploration. The hotel is unlike anything we have encountered in Vegas. There is no casino; just a well decorated and lavishly fancy hotel. It's recommended for business meetings. Pro tip: explore the sky lounge at the top floor. It's quite the view.

Had afternoon tea here on a Friday afternoon. The hotel is very nice but was a little confused by the parking situation and ended up valeting. The views from the tea room were fantastic. The service and food were a mixed bag. When making the reservation, I mentioned a dietary restriction I have. This was not communicated to our server, Betzy, who seemed confused by "vegetarian, no dairy" and had to bring out a separate plate after dropping off the food tower and my question/confirmation that the mousse used in the desserts didn't contain gelatin. She seemed to not know what that was and how it effected my meal. After clarifying with the chef, she told me what not to eat. Most of the food was good. The sandwiches I was given were awkward to eat, but tasty and my dining partner liked most of the ones she was given. The tables and chairs were nice for lounging but not good for eating. They sat low and the table didn't have a knee hole to scoot into, so I ended up having to turn my body to the side and lean over the table to take each bite. The tea selection and flavor was good, but near the end became cold as there were no tea cozies for our pots. For the parking situation, the restaurant ended up validating for valet.

Lovely place - love the decor, it's a nice change of pace / theme from the other resorts. It isn't as crowded as some of the more popular resorts, which is great. They have fantastic service, the spa is to die for, and checking out a day at the pool is a must! Get a cabana and relax!
The rooms are super quiet - I guess it's because the people who choose this place aren't the typical Vegas partiers - or maybe we just got lucky.

I had an especially amazing New Year's Eve stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas. Of course the rooms and service were above reproach. I had a special 4 course meal at Twist in a window seat that was amazing! I also had an amazing evening in the Mandarin Bar meeting some lovely vibrant people! But what always makes my visits to every Mandarin property so special is the personable and friendly service provided by absolutely everybody! It does not matter who you are or how much money you have. They are not stuffy or snobby but they make everybody feel welcome! I am a solo female traveller and I love the Mandarin Oriental.

Nice and Calm if you are looking for a posh relaxed stay! Amazing. Location as directly on the strip close to everything . However, if you are looking for the Vegas experience and the happy loud vibes, not the right choice. But still very close to casinos next door. The elevators system is a bit awkward, you can never access the ground floor or any outer space without going to floor 23 (reception) changing elevators to the ones that go to the ground level.
All in all decent stay and friendly staff!

I had an especially amazing New Year's Eve stay at the Mandarin Oriental in Las Vegas. Of course the rooms and service were above reproach. We just stayed for a long weekend at the Mandarin Oriental Las Vegas with other family members for an off strip event. The hotel has no casino, no big restaurant and seems to have no smoking! It was a fantastic place to stay if you a looking for a place that can be your refuge from all the Las Vegas hubbub. It is part of City Center so everything Vegas has to offer is right outside the door. The Spa was beautiful. The staff was extremely nice to my two year old granddaughter. Just be sure to check your bill- there were a few mistakes that took a while to correct at the front desk.

The service was fantastic. Check in went pretty smoothly. I had my suit pressed and my shoes shined by the valet service. It took a bit longer than expected, but they apologized and took off the shoe shine charge. Probably because most other people were getting clothes laundered and pressed for NYE. The room was spacious enough and well stocked. The view from our room was awesome. The one issue that we had was that the humidifier did not work and I ended up getting a nosebleed at breakfast. So just make sure your humidifier works if you need it before you go to sleep.
Overall, the Mandarin Oriental was a fantastic hotel and I'd definitely stay here again.

Cozy and quite. I love the ambiance of the lounge area. Not sure if it's normally quiet but I appreciate that it was subdued. It was a nice change of pace from the loud and gaudy aspect of Vegas. One thing I think the bar should change is the amount of nice they put on their drinks. Old fashioned would have been better suited with one chipped rock ice that takes up about 3/4 of the glass rather than tiny ice cubes filled to the rim. It melts faster being small and it's difficult to drink.

There are no casinos on site which makes the Mandarin extremely quiet and peaceful. However, for my gambling fix, I was able to walk to the Aria in less than 5 min.
It's extremely modern with all the amenities expected from a 5 star hotel.
The only negative was the high price of food at the onsite restaurants, but since it's right on the strip, there are many other food options nearby.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

Beautiful hotel tucked away on the strip, easy walk to Aria and Cosmopolitan. It's a non smoking hotel with no casino so it would great for people with kids. The room itself was spacious, had a great view (I got the strip view) and a huge Japanese soaking tub. Along with all the amenities I really appreciated a straightener in the bathroom along with the hair dryer. Would definitely stay there again.

This is a very high end place. Didn't sleep here, came just for drinks. The bar at the lobby has a great view. The hotel takes the first 10-15 floors then you have the lobby and then the resident part of the building. Amazing.

No other hotel has made me feel as welcome and comfortable. I felt as if everything was made just for me. The building is a fortress secure not only from physical danger but also fully shielded from bad energy. My bath could fit four people at once. I think my bed was a Duxiana. Superstition is absent here as our room was on the fourth floor. My experience was truly Zen.

Had drinks at the bar. Somewhat pricey but average for the strip. The view and ambiance is what made it worthwhile.

This is the most amazing place I've ever visited on the Las Vegas strip. It's a very quiet, sophisticated refined location in the middle of chaos. The rooms are amazingly comfortable and well appointed and the pool area is the most accommodating of all the casinos I've ever visited.

Mandarin Oriental is a sweet oasis along the strip. You're on the strip, but it doesn't feel like it. It makes for a nice getaway with no casino downstairs and the Crystals shops nearby. My bf and I had a car the last time we stayed at the MO to get around the strip since it's not really near the monorail.

Very comfortable. Good option if you are looking to get away from the hustle and bustle of the casinos but still stay on the strip within walking distance to MGM, Aria, Cosmopolitan and Planet Hollywood. Caesars and Bellagio are about 20min walk. There is no casino on site. The hotel pool is gorgeous and has great drinks, the calamari was a great tasting snack. Staff is very attentive throughout. Very nice gym although could do with a few more weight training machines. Valet parking was included for no charge when we stayed in June 2016.

A quiet oasis in the middle of the chaos. Come here to relax and have a good time. Love the bar on the 23rd floor and the room service is outstanding. I love coming here and looking forward to coming back.

I can't imagine anyone giving this less than 5 stars. Everything here is perfection. One night stay with white glove service, amazing bar, fabulous morning yoga class, excellent food. Come here and you have no need to leave the property.

Very luxurious rooms in a cool high-end hotel. Located right in the heart of the strip, next to Aria, and a short walk to the Ballagio.
Our room had a great spa-like bathroom and the bed was very comfortable.
We stayed for three nights. The food at the MOzen bistro was fantastic too.

I think it is the best hotel I've stayed in so far compared to the price. It is my first time here, so the hotel manager was very patient with me. I forgot to hand over my car key when I arrive and the valet guy actually chase to find me on the sky lobby. Eventually it was all settled. The room service was quick as well.

When I call the valet, they make the car ready mostly on time.

This hotel focus a lot on its customer service and the experience, so I shall say it is recommended for everyone to give it a go. The hotel has no Casino's but the Aria and other that is close by are only within 10 minute walks. You'll be able to find you game very close by.

I used the bath tub and shower today. Probably the most enjoyable bathroom I've ever had too.
