Everything about this place was incredible. The rooms were so beautiful and really made my boyfriend and I enjoy staying in st times. My only complaint would be that the pillows had zero support and that there were too many kids. I would definitely say it's ideal for families and older people. We were the only people in our 20s staying there. Otherwise, great time, would recommend.

Marriott Desert Springs 1 is a fabulous resort located in Palm Desert. The grounds are well maintained with plants, water features and several pools. The Villas are lovely with a full kitchen, sunken Living Room and large bedroom and bath. The staff is great.

I absolutely love it. First of all the accommodation was extremely satisfactory. There is ample parking for every one for this particular unit and the entire facility. The master bedroom has a full king 👑 size bed. The rooms are equipt with a safe. State of the art climate control and the bathrooms have both a shower stall and bathtub with large size illuminated vanity mirror. The bathroom 🚻 is also equip with two convenient face basin style sinks. Also, a large dining table suitable for 5. The tv 📺 in the living room may be at least 55-60" similar to a 40-55" in master bedroom. I absolutely love this resort. The front desk staff are also polite when called. They always do follow-up callback to check on the status of initial concerns to find if a resolution was reached and if satisfied. I am pleased. A note to add, my wife had to take care of some business at the business center and the staff on duty was very professional and took care of her needs. They gave my children gifts that made them very happy. Our stay was so satisfactory and accommodating that it ease the average outdoor temperature of 105+°. I will definitely consider vacationing here in the future.

Always a great time at Marriott Spring Villas. Guest suite was very comfortable and newly renovated but missing a clock and no safe in room. They used to have a complimentary tidy room clean one in a week stay but not this time. Enjoyed the daily yoga classes.

I love my summer stays here. I love this particular resort. Very quiet and relaxing. The only issue is every time my family books here they separate us in different villas and we do this trip to be together and the resort would not offer to make it right and put us together. We travel from Oregon to visit family and they did not care😢 very disappointed this year for that reason.

Our third time staying here. The staff is wonderful. Twice we took grandchildren with us. There are so many things for the kids to do. They loved the resort.
The magic show was lots of fun.
We definately will return for a fourth visit.

I stayed for a timeshare trade in a studio unit. Definitely one of the best timeshares I have stayed at. The unit was newly renovated, it was gorgeous. The picture is the view from my balcony. The resort offers a plethora of on-site amenities to make the young and older happy. They have crafts, a movie theatre, pools, a market, basketball court, golf, restaurants, shuttle service around the property, BBQ's and the list goes on. I debated between giving the resort a 4 or 5, here's why. The online description states that all units have kitchens, but none of the studios have one, so we had to eat out more than we wanted. In addition, the villa building I stayed in had no elevator so it might be difficult for the elderly or handicapped to get to the second floor. Maybe other villas have handicap access? Overall, I loved it here and will be back.

Visiting family who were staying here. We met them for dinner, which we ate in the villa. There was plenty of space, seating, and nice tableware for five of us to eat with two of them. Nice room and accommodations, easy to get to. Navigation was a little tricky just because of the size of the complex, but not a major problem. Sounds like they got a great deal for the extremely nice facility and room. Would definitely consider staying here if the need arose.

Room was nice, but not extraordinary. I was able to hear my neighbors throughout the day. Staff was very friendly, and the pool was nice with a few hotubs. They have a small market as well as basic coffee house stuff. They have activities and classes, but I can't rate them since I wasn't able yo do any.

I had an outstanding experience staying here. I was pleasantly suprised by how beautiful the room was and overlooking the golf course. It was nicely laid out and fountains scattered through out the property. I especially liked the location. It was on the East side of Highway 111 and very close to Ralphs grocery store, Gas stations and other places to get needed items. I also loved that there was a Washer and Dryer in my unit which was a big plus because I like to leave with clean clothes. Thank you. The only suggestion I have is to not call so much promoting other properties for me to stay in as that was not necessary. I think I should have been asked if I wished to receive promotional phone calls everyday as they did interfere with my right to the quiet enjoyment of my stay. Grateful overall and will stay here again. Thanks.

The greens are too slow. All the other courses we play manage to cut greens down and not have burn out and of course they water their greens regularly. We played at 8am and greens were bone dry on a 90 degree day. Really takes away from the golf on an otherwise nice course. This has been the knock on your courses for quite sometime. Get that fixed and you'll get more play. I question the motivation of the head greenskeeper leaving the greens long to make his job easier. If I managed your course I'd challenge him to operate at least at 10. Tell him to check with his competition including Shadow Ridge. If he can't do that replace him.

Stayed there for a weekend. Hotel itself seems fine, although some staff members could be a little bit more attentive and polite. What bothers me was how dirty the room was. Shower had male back hairs on the wall which means it wasn't cleaned after previous guests which is just disgusting. The batheoom floor had a fake eyelash in middle of it which would be impossible not to see if that floor was washed. And the bedding had something like black mascara smudged on a side. Just gross. So that's why three stars. Could be lower but ladies in lost and found were nice and helpful so they saved this review.

If you need space and big family recommend 2br suite with pull out couch! Love it, great views all over on golf course, and affordable. Stayed here many times and always clean and safe. Have guard security which a plus also. Our suite had full kitchen, full master room with nice and big jacuzzi style tub. Nice living room pull out queen bed couch with space and fire place. Second bedroom had 2 queen beds, fridge and microwave and own separate bathroom, shower and tub. Enjoy thanks Marriott

Very spacious and quiet. Perfect with the kids for a family getaway. A bit far to walk up to the main hotel with kids (ours were under 3 at the time) - but the pool outside our door was basically just for us the entire trip. Will be back - October weather was fantastic

My wife and friends are enjoying our stay at Marriott's Desert Springs Villas II because they are beautiful and have the nicest amenities we have ever experienced. We plan to play golf the next two days and look forward to the stunning sights. The people are kind, and staff strives to meet our needs. This is a great vacation spot.

This is an amazing resort. We went for our yearly family vacation and stayed in the newer section of the place. The rooms were perfectly clean and outfitted with all the necessary stuff. The pool was clean and not overcrowded. But the best part of this place was the rec center they call The Shade! Such an awesome place to bring our 4 boys. They had things for all ages. Video games, board games, painting, building blocks, rock climbing wall, ping pong amd Foosball, they even had a little movie theater with about 20 seats or so and they played both kids and adults movies... something for everyone. It was great. I'd recommend this place to anyone and everyone.

Great rooms, spacious and clean and well equipped with supplies in kitchen. Our clock had an alarm that we didn't know about until early the next day though! But everything else was wonderful. Beautiful grounds and beautiful golf course view.

The Marriott Villas are just off of the JW Marriott. The settings is very spacious, in many ways: the rooms are large, with large tubs, large showers; TVs in every room, and a kitchen that if we'll provisioned.
Rooms are serviced during the day and the staff is very friendly. The buildings are separated by large spaces, and parking spots are covered and are close to the rooms. There's a main pool with grill and bar, and there are additional smaller pools, some with large hot tub / spa. All pools have free towels and nice restrooms. The fitness room is well equipped. We didn't take advantage of the many activities that are offered.

The hotel grounds were absolutely beautiful. We had a two-villa setup overlooking the golf course. The room was very large and clean. We enjoyed all of the amenities. It was like taking your house with you. We used the spa one night and the fire pit another. They worked like a charm. I would recommend this place to anyone looking for a golfing or relaxing getaway.

I love this place. The ONLY problem I have is that EVERY YEAR we request early check-in, since there's only one flight from Chicago to Palm Springs and it gets in around noon. Every year they tell us it's no problem, and yet every year we check in and find out that housekeeping hasn't even been in our unit. Which is weird, since they bang on your door every 5 minutes before 10am on your check-out day. Everything else is amazing. Letty and Lety (yes, two of them) at the Palmeras pool are always smiling and eager to help with anything. Everyone is so friendly and helpful, I wish I could stay longer!

Love staying here! Staff throughout are always friendly and helpful. 1 room villa has microwave, fridge and sink. 2 room villa has everything you need in a kitchen and plenty of space to fit 6 adults and 2-3 small kids. BBQ gas grills available and always kept clean. The pools are great but not much to them. If you like to mingle and don't mind hearing kids splash here & there then the main pool is it, as they do have 3 pools there. Separate/surrounding pools are still a good size.

Nice room, good view, and the people working here were very friendly. Only negative thing I can say is that the coffee cream they left had expired more than a month before, but that wouldn't stop me from staying again.

The rooms were clean and updated but I was a bit disappointed with the offerings. While still a great room it didn’t match the description on Marriott’s website. The location is very large and has several pools to choose from but all seemed fairly crowded. I felt the staff was much more accommodating to owners of the property then hotel guests.

Very nice rooms, very fun social areas. Everything worked well and there was minimal bother from housekeeping. The view from the patio was beautiful. Only gripe I have is the poor sleeping arrangements and the little slipup they had with the check in times. Besides that it was mt favorite hotel experience to date.

The place was great. There was kitchen with everything you need. The beds and pillows were comfortable and including the soda bed. There is a golf course which I didn't use and a pool that is open from 7am to 10 pm. I had a great time there. I would stay again

We come for the heat, LOL, and of course the pool. Very relaxing and family friendly resort. Staff is very friendly and helpful and respectful. Rooms are clean and functionally stocked and equipped. It met my expectations for a Marriott vacation home property. The pool allows different floaties, a nice thing to have.

The Oasis poolside has has a mango with ice cream, it was the bomb. Very yummy!

Excellent facility with a very attentive staff, eager to meet or exceed expectations of the guests. Recently remodeled with beautiful decor. Wonderful place for families, providing activities for every age, many of which are free. Requests are met quickly and efficiently by cheerful, friendly staff members. Kitchens are well equipped, barbecue grills are conveniently placed throughout the resort. Everything is well maintained.

Desert Springs Villas II....Beautiful rooms and gorgeous surroundings. I had the 2 bedroom. Bedrooms are spacious. Second bedroom is a lockout unit attached...Can enter from the front with private door and can open inside door to the main unit. Lockout room is very nice with a king bed, pullout couch , mini kitchen, table for two, and private patio. The main unit is very nice, big kitchen and well stocked, spa tub, and a very nice patio. Patio is closed in to keep little children safe. Livingroom couch pulls out to a double bed. The only things I didn't like was: the livingroom is not very big and can only seat 4 people somewhat comfortably and the refrigerator is rather small for more than 4 people. Otherwise ...love this place!

The accommodations are quite comfortable, with fully furnished kitchen, washer and dryer, and a comfortable shower. The resort also is excellent for the tennis and golf crowd with both on site. The resort also is a quick convenient drive to the Indian Wells tennis garden which hosts various events and tournaments including the BNP Paribas Open.

My family has been coming here every spring for the last 2 decades. We have always had great service. The Master suites are great for longer stays--with a kitchen, washing machine, and dryer. The kitchens are well-stocked as far as cooking supplies go. All the usual cooking supplies, Tupperware, dishwasher. As kids, we always loved playing in the huge bath tub. The units have been recently redone and are very nice. The grounds are very large with lots of options for activities. Several pools to choose from, a clubhouse with a variety of activities and movie showings every day. As far as local activities, there are lots of great hikes nearby, the tram up the mountain, and nice restaurants nearby.

Nice property upon entering, friendly staff in lobby. Lacks some comforts you might expect and room/villa cleanliness could be improved. No lounge or restaurant (except for a small restaurant by the pool), if you want dinner you will have to make your way to the JW Marriott portion of the property. Bathroom wasn't the cleanest, shower curtain had mold, thermostat had a mind of its own. Was OK, but won't be back.

Stayed here for a conference when the JW was sold out. Might be nice for a vacation but was not great for a business stay. No room service. The Villas are quite far from the main area. I had to use Uber to get around at all. I recommend a car if you stay here and plan to leave at all.

The existence of villas like this has been a boon to families like ours. We traveled with 3 adults and 3 children and stayed a two bedroom villa. A full kitchen allowed us to go shopping at Ralph's right down the street and not tire of going out for every single meal.

It was spacious! Never did I feel cramped the way I often do in hotel rooms when I'm traveling with more than just myself.

The planned activities for children of all ages at the kid center was educational and my children never grew tired of the activities.

It can be chaos traveling with a lot of people but the Villas II made for a relaxing few weeks!

When I first arrived I was impressed with the welcoming entrance and the beautiful lobby, the Front desk staff is so nice and polite..during our stay my sister and I would go for our morning walk, there was not a single staff member that we passed that did not greet us and welcome us. The room is so beautiful and modern, fully equipped with what we needed for the weekend. There were so many pools we sometimes felt like we had our own pool. I will definitely return and always recomend this resort to my friends and family.

Absolutely loved my stay here! Me & my husband came for our honeymoon to be able to relax away from home!!! And even though it was a three hour drive through the heat of the desert, it was absolutely worth it! I actually want to come back sometime in the Fall or Winter. It was great! The housekeepers don't come knocking at every door, waking you up, they come when you need them! There's a flat screen TV, A/C you can control, always hot water in the shower, different pool locations (with food by the main pool), beautiful balcony views. What more could you ask for?!

It was okay. But at first we had a horrible experience, we have two baby girls so the rooms have to be clean. We found a pill on the floor AFTER our baby girl (10 months) picked up the pill. Looked like a vitamin pill but if you think that's okay for a child, do your own research. Then we found bugs all over the room, works, black beetles, dead cockroach. Everything but the cockroach were alive and moving all over the kitchen living room, bedroom bathroom. Granite people its on the first floor, but still Holly crap I could of sued this hotel 10 times over. But managment moved our room and refunded us a $100. I guess they feel satisfied with doing that. I will tell you, I am kind of satisfied with their "generosity" after almost killing my 10 month old baby. I would expect more from a hotel with a name like "Marriott"
