Audubon International Gold

The Audubon Green Leaf Eco-Rating Program began in 1998 to meet the lodging industry's desire to provide quality guest services while minimizing its impact on the environment. Hotels are awarded one to five Green Leaves based upon the hotel’s commitment to:

The state of New York is launching its state hotel certification program using the Green Leaf standard. The New York State Hospitality and Tourism Association selected Audubon International’s Green Leaf Eco Rating Program for Hotels to be the independent third-party evaluator for its green lodging certification, which is part of a larger state initiative to support and market sustainable tourism.

Nice place to stay modern and clean. Doesn't offer much in amenities, the kitchenette had no burners or electric skillet no oven of any sort, the did have complimentary washing machines only 2 for hundreds of guests so you have to fight for them I was worried about getting shot over Florida's stand your ground laws. The staff were polite although a few spoke no English at all (not racist just a fact that makes it hard to communicate). Good place for the money compared to other chain motels.

Beautiful resort with lots of activities. There are multiple pools available. The resort is well maintained, friendly employees. My family and I had a great time. They're not real pushy on selling the ownership/timeshare. Location is right on I-Drive, so you can easily drive to attractions or take the trolley.

What a great place to stay and bring the family. It is beautiful and the staff is all very friendly. Great location near Sea World and not far from Magic Kingdom. Loved the pools too! Definitely want to come back.

I feel like Marriott grande Vista hit on s lot of great details to make your trip amazing. Everything from plenty of luggage rack and even shopping carts to help you transport items to grilling utensils at the grill area were awesome touches. There staff all greeted you as you passed and they took ownership of a small issue with our room keys. Service at pool bars was always around and prompt. This was a great vacation

An awesome weekend!! We celebrated our 29th Anniversary there. The room was amazing! It had a Jacuzzi in the bathroom and a full kitchen!!
We played golf on their 9 hole course. It was great. There was plenty to do on the resort and it was close to everything if you ventured out!
We plan to go back and stay longer next time! We highly recommend this place!

Nice place. Lots of pools and activities. The golf course didn't seem to busy. We had a three bedroom suite. Tons of room. Everyone was friendly. Beware the concierge. They try to sell you on a time share the second you check in.

Nice resort with the basic amenities most resorts have. The grill restaurant was excellent. Prime rib was cooked perfectly. Staff was wonderful. I have 2 issues. Need more staff at check in during peak times. Concierge should be assisting customers not selling attention tickets. That should be a separate desk.

This was a smaller resort, but with many amenities. They are in the middle of upgrading the elevators while we were there, but that didn't affect us, as we were on the first floor. The room was clean. We liked the many pools, though the splash pool features, we found to be a little overpowering. You were not able to walk by them without getting wet. We enjoyed the many restaurants on site, but The Grill was our favorite. We look forward to visiting again.

Stayed here with my children. Loved it! Very family friendly! Breautiful resort with tons of amenities for all! Rooms/bathrooms are nice and safe gated entrance! Located not far from attractions and downtown! Loved it and would definitely recommend. If I come back to Orlando I will be staying here!

Awesome resort! Really awesome pools with a very tropical vibe. Side by side pools - one hot and one dramatically cold. Many other pools also. Rooms are very clean and spacious. Lots of activities. Paddle boats, kayaks, pool tables, ping-pong tables, volleyball courts. Lots of barbacue areas. Staff very nice and helpful whenever you need them.

We stayed here for the weekend at the Alhambra building and the stay was fantastic! Check-in went smoothly and they have great amenities including a very large pool, kiddie pool, and separate lap pool. The pool is open until 11pm. Their gym is good too and open 24hrs. They also offer paddle boats and kayaks in their large lake. They have a variety of activities for the family such as smores night and activities for adults like wine tasting. The rooms were very clean and well kept. We had a two bedroom two bath room with full kitchen and living room. There was also a great balcony with tables and chairs that overlooked the lake AND had screens to prevent bugs from coming in which was super nice because who wants to sit outside when there are mosquitoes and spiders?! But the balcony was clean and bug-free! The kitchen has a full fridge, stove top, dish washer, pantry space, and basic dishes (cutlery, plates, bowls, cups). There is also a washer and dryer. Overall the staff was very attentive (we asked for extra towels, blankets, and pillows and they delivered them immediately). I only wish we got to stay here longer!!

One of the nicest places I have ever stayed. Very upscale for reasonable prices. The staff was super nice too! Especially Jerry the bartender by the pool. He went above and beyond the call of duty and genuinely was a nice guy. The food was delicious by the pool too.The grounds are well thought out...they have lovely pool areas but also a small beach with volleyball, a Fire pit area, an arcade with ping pong etc, as well as shops and a little well stocked grocery/souvenir shop. Truly well planned out resort and very close to Disney and Sea World. I plan to return in the future!

Place was beautiful, ton of pools and our rooms were clean and spacious. Beds comfortable and kitchen very clean. No complaints, we ate breakfast at the Marketplace one day before going to the parks, had Starbucks and sandwiches. Do wish they had a shuttle to the parks but more of a golf, tennis and resort relaxing place.

Marriott has been updating this Resort. We stayed in a newly renovated two bedroom suite that was very nice. All the new colors, furnishings, and general overall look are very fresh. Beds are comfortable and the overall layout of the resort is good. It has a very nice pool area and other amenities for kids to enjoy as well.

The location is close to pretty much all of the Orlando attractions and yet you feel like you're not in a super busy area when you are at the resort

The grounds are beautiful and well maintained. Staff was very friendly and accommodating. They even have us late check-out during Memorial day weekend with hardly any pushback. As for the rooms, they are clean and modern. Zero complaints for the rooms. The beds are amazing. Firm but comfortable at the same time. The foods a bit pricey, but nothing out of the ordinary for a resort. Overall, this place is great for a getaway.

Make sure if you come here, you don’t need to sleep. It’s an apartment but not a vacation.

First I’ll mention that You can hear talking from other rooms, constantly. It was so annoying to hear entire conversations. My son is in a different room in a diffferent area of the building and he said it was so loud & went on all night.

But that isn’t what made me want to write the review.

I wrote this review because there was zero ability to sleep on Tuesday Wednesday AND Thursday. They cut the grass before 7am. EVERY morning.

Three days in a row at 7am????? (It was not raining so that’s not the reason).
Interestingly, if you read enough reviews, you will see many complaints about the lawn being cut at 6:30 am every day.

I guess they don’t care.

So come here for very nice rooms, good location, safe atmosphere. Just make sure you don’t need to sleep.

For me? No thanks. Too many other choices.

Bed was comfortable. Pillows were very soft maybe a little too soft. Had a hard time getting in contact with the front desk. Room was clean other than one roach was found and old beer cans where found under the sink compartment. Parking is free but difficult to find a spot if you try to park to late. Sofa couch was also comfortable.

What a neat property. So big, clean and well maintained. The staff is awesome. Very friendly and knowledgeable. They have great activities and entertainment all the time. My only complaint is the bed. Not good. To hard and we both ended up with sore backs in the morning.

Very nice place to stay! The hotel is located 10-15 minutes from all of the theme parks in Orlando. The rooms are well kept and clean, and the grounds around the hotel are beautiful. The lake in the center of the resort is a nice touch. Only complaint that we had was that the parking isn’t the greatest. Not sure if it was just the building that we were placed in, but we consistently had to park 1-2 buildings over and walk quite a distance to get to our room. Other than that, great place to stay in Orlando!

Overall, our stay was wonderful. We were a little too far from the main building and we weren't really close to the two larger swimming pools which would have been nice. When we checked in we were told that the room had been updated, but room actually showed a lot of wear. The pillows were horrible. The staff was all very helpful and our grandchildren loved the climbing room. I would like to have seen a few more activities for the kids, but it could be that the timing just didn't work out for us.

It's a very nice resort. The staff I interacted with were all very kind and friendly. Everything was clean and well kept. My biggest complaint is just that they have so much day to day maintenance to do that it was always very loud and busy, with large trucks everywhere. I didn't intend to sleep in in the mornings, which was good, because I don't know if I would have been able to. But I know those things need to be done in order to keep everything nice. It just really breaks the illusion of having a care free vacation that the rest of the experience seems to be going for.

Really nice resort! The staff is extremely friendly and helpful, the rooms are spacious and we'll equipped, and the kids activities are really well done. There are three pools at this place, all with their own unique features. My kids had a fantastic time at all three pools and at the kids activity room. Literally every employee we interacted with was super nice, friendly, and helpful. The only downside is the very long driveway. If you will be driving in and out of the resort a lot, the long driveway and excessive speed bumps will get annoying very quickly. Overall, though, I recommend this resort wholeheartedly.

If you are a family looking for accommodations in Orlando, look no farther. We rented a 3 bedroom 3 full bath 1800 SF apartment which is at the resort. Fantastic place. Wonderful pools for the kids, lots of activities as well. We are a family of 6 visiting, so not sure how the place would resonate for a couple. It is clean, with great service and the restaurants were pretty good, not great but good. Also, the location is great, close to Disney world, etc.

We had a great time here in November while on a Disney vacation. We had a large group with two rooms and they managed to put us all in the same building but not the same floor. The rooms were spacious and clean! Perfect size for us! The pools and hot tubs were great! Loved the look and feel of the whole resort! Would definitely go back!!

Very attentive staff. Polite and acknowledges each guest. Our room was clean but did have a musty smell. Like old carpet or odor front the a/c vents. Bed was semi hard but fine. We would come back with the kids for the pool and other activities.

Housekeeping was very LOUD right at 10AM next door. I think intentional to wake others up to get them out. We arranged a 11AM checkout and they knocked at right at 11:02 AM. Lol

Lance from Bell services was super cool. Gave us a ride to the the pool from our building.

This was an absolute amazing place to stay in Orlando! First, they have many different pools and many different dining options from a quick bite to ice cream to a market place. Its like a mini community you really don't have to stray far for the kids they have a game room which is actually a lot of fun for adults to play too! They earn tickets to get toys there is also a nice kids maze. They have a pool table, ping pong table, and Foosball table. You can rent motorized fun boats paddle boats fishing gear it's just a really beautiful place and full of activities for children and adults too ranging from free to a few extra bucks! Highly recommend this resort my husband went golfing every morning on the beautiful golf course its also very close to EVERYTHING TO DO IN ORLANDO! We had a blast at universal islands of adventure. If you'd like to call an uber they're are always like 5 minutes or less away! Definitely give this place a try its beautiful and staff is wonderful! We loved staying here!

The wife and I had a great nine, missing out on an anticipated 21 inches of snow back home. The staff was very friendly and accommodating. The fairways and greens were well maintained and very plush. Very surprising during the winter months. The course was challenging with a few water holes, but attainable for the beginner. We will definitely come back during our next visit.

Incredible property. Beautiful golf course. Nice big , clean , cold rooms. Immaculate landscape, cleanliness outside , and the pools were all incredible!!! I LOVED this place. Very nice quiet place, safe and near by everything by car.

This is about as good of a place as you can possibly find in Orlando and the bang for your buck is elite.

One of my favorite hotels to stay when I'm in Orlando. Great views, great amenities, and great food on site. You really can't go wrong here, the only thing I can say that could use a little work is the beds. They are a little on the hard side, but other than that everything else is perfect.

Beautiful property! There are several pools and picnic/grilling areas. The staff are top notch and this is definitely somewhere we'll be going again. There are daily resort activities for all ages, some do have small fees. There are restaurants, and ice cream shop, bars and events at the main building. The golf course is huge and holes are strategically placed around the property. Room service is offered, but quite pricey so we just went to the restaurant. Now the prices are not cheap, but lovely experience for families or couples. I do not have one complaint or concern. Below is a night view from the room.

We love it here. Have stayed 3 years in a row. Lots to do on the property and golf. There are lots of pools and hot tubs to enjoy. The one bedroom suites are perfect. Everything you need to feel at home. There are a couple bars with good food and drinks.
Thanks only bad thing we could find is that the elevators are super slow. We take the stairs and they are a lot fast. Plus we could always use the exercise.

The place is nice and is typical of what I have come to expect from Marriott. The pools are above average and well heated. The meals from the restaurants were tasty and also typically priced like one would expect at a resort or hotel. The only complaint that I have is the single elevator on each hundred plus room building. This wouldn't normally be a burden, but the amount of staff required to service such large buildings tends to dominate the single elevator, and more often than not, you end up waiting several minutes for an average size elevator that you end up sharing with a couple of service carts and a number of staffers. It seems like a petty complaint until you experience it a dozen or more times consecutively, at which point you will have wasted more than an hour waiting for the elevator. A recent medical calamity prevents me from running the stairwells for at least a few more weeks, so I was unable to resolve this issue.

Nice resort overall. Rooms were clean and friendly staff. I dislike the fact that vacation places find the need to overprice everything such as food, snacks and beverages.

Regarding kids activities. For their Nerf shootout, they should consider using positive reinforcement instead of negative reinforcement for the kids. If they didn't complete the task within 30 seconds, they would take away tokens from the kids. Perhaps they should reward the kids by completeting each section instead.

Convenient location for the Disney and Universally family trips. But remember to budget a few days just to enjoy all the activities those place itself offers. Children friendly activities include great swimming pools (main pool is pretty big and nice with other pools for each building), indoor play area/ child care, fishing, table tennis, ice cream making etc.

Good sized gym for the adults and tennis courts as well as golf . A few restaurants to choose from. Rooms are plenty large.

Wow, we loved staying here! Such great service and what awesome pools! They have 2 sections of pools one for kids and one for adults. They have an ice cream place which was so good and very cheap! There pizza was also to die for! We loved walking over the bridge at night and seeing all of the turtles floating in the water! Our rooms were beautiful and very clean.. Room service always did a great job! All of the staff were SOO nice! We also loved how it was set back from the road and fully gated. Can't wait to come back!

Lovely setting near by Orlando, Disney and universal. Lots of pools but went to go for morning swim and couldn't find clean towels. Have never stayed at a Marriott condo before and was a little surprised that they do resemble hotel rooms. Very modern but definitely inside the room has the feeling of a hotel. Not that this is a bad thing as this resort caters to being outside on the golf course or at one of the pools or poolside cafe.

Well it's a sprawling complex for sure. I think that the main focus of visitors is clearly golf. So if that's your thing, then I would say get yourself to the Grande Vista. They also have a bunch of restaurants and bars to choose from. An daily activity schedule with some pretty diverse things on it. All in all, a pretty decent place to stay. The only thing that I didn't like was the pushing of buying into the program. I got sick of the phone calls to go and see the concierge to get my free gift. But like I said, all in all a fine place to stay.

When i first got here, i was bewildered to see how spacious the room was. There are four of us, and everyone got to sleep in their own big bed. On top of a spacious room, we had a perfect view of the lake. Besides the room, the hotel has a wide variety of fun activities for guests of all ages. If you want to vacation in florida, i highly recommend this hotel for its hospitality, environment, and location.

I have stayed at the Grande Vista over five times in the last couple of years. At this point it's starting to feel like home. The Grande Vista is perfect for children with the pirate themed pool, the lighthouse sweetery, and the family-friendly activities. The staff is amazing and always willing to help to make your stay go off without a hitch. My only reservations for giving the Grande Vista 5 starts would be the overpriced for and beverage service (I did it comparison, the upgrade is over 200%!) and the slightly questionable maintenance. The building is definitely in great shape but the windows appeared to be in need of repair and could use a deep cleaning. All in all the Grande Vista is a great place to stay for your trip to Orlando. I would definitely recommend!

This is a timeshare property. It was constructed in the 1990s. It has been updated fairly recently and is fine. The general plan is a full 1 bedroom unit with hot tub and full kitchen and dining area for 8. Plus a lockout efficiency apartment that makes it into a two bedroom unit. Facilities are great, with a large activities building, large heated pools, and multiple whirlpools.

There was no visible damage from hurricanes of 2017.

If you plan to eat in the units and have more than 4 people, you will need to call housekeeping (front desk) and request more dishes, etc.

If you are traffic averse, then, in general, Orlando FL is not for you. A massive road construction program through 2017-2018 is making the traffic much worse. Any estimates of travel time will not be accurate.

This is particularly true around this property.

Have stayed here several times and family owns timeshares at other Marriott Resorts. No problems encountered and if there were any, immediately corrected. Stay here very enjoyable. Staff very professional and friendly. Housekeeping staff very friendly and respectful. No problems with sales pitches as we did not come here using any special pricing/deals which comes with things you have to abide by. Overall A+ resort and all staff during our stay. Will stay here again when coming to Orlando.

What a great place to stay! We have a time share elsewhere but would definitely look into buying.
Now to the rooms... very nice and up to par with other time shares. I think they should be little more high end for the price point. The mattress on the couch, well if you have to stay for longer than a week get a blowup bed or a 3 bedroom.
The grounds are very nice and plenty of things to keep you busy if you just want to stay around the grounds. Vineland outlets are close and so is the rest of the theme parks. I would give it 9/10 only reason not 10/10 was room needs to be better and sofa bed should have a better mattress or pillow top.

We stayed in building 9 over the Thanksgiving holiday and weekend. I've been to a few of the Marriott resorts and generally love the experience. We have elementary school age children and travel with another family that also has kids. We look for kids-club type activities to take advantage of during our visits. We also look for family-fun type amenities (think shuffleboard, bocce ball, playgrounds) to let the kids burn off a little energy. Grand Vista had nice pools and some activities such as beach volleyball, golf and tennis, but not too much for smaller campers. They had about one free activity a day for smaller kids (bingo or art). All in all we enjoyed the resort and it was a great location for our adventures out to Sea World or dinning on International Drive. If this is just a base for launching out to other Orlando attractions, you won't be disappointed. If you are looking for somewhere to kick back and keep the kids busy, then you might need to bring along a few games or crafts to keep them occupied.

Beautiful resort! All around an excellent spot. Bar by the pool is awesome with great bar tenders and very reasonably priced drinks. Jacuzzi was perfect, pool was too. Beds were ultra plush and comfy comforters. My complaint is the coffee in the rooms :( I love a good strong cup of coffee first thing in the morning and it was a little disappointing. The other thing that caused it to lose a star was the fact that my lamp shade had a stain on it. Didn't notice it til the last day I was there. Almost looked like it should be there, but I realized it wasn't on the other matching lamp on other nightstand. Little things like this need to be mended at a resort of this stature. Other than that...I would hands down go back. Beautiful spot. Very relaxing.

Our favorite resort in Kissimmee. We live in Tampa but make a twice yearly (or more!) visit to this place. A variety of rooms are offered but we typically stay in a large 1 bedroom villa that has a fully furnished kitchen. Rooms have recently been remodeled. Fabulous family-friendly pools (x2) and quiet pools (x2) for those days when you just need a little solitude. All pools have hot tubs as well. Two main pools also feature food and beverages. There is a small, but pricey, market on-site along with an ice cream shop (that as of this posting was being refurbished), So many activities to do on a daily and hourly basis. No need to leave the property if you just need a place to relax and unwind.

Nice property for families with lots of pools and a golf course. The villa we stayed was recently renovated and in good condition. The staff is friendly and accommodating. The kids enjoyed the recreation center. The villas have some design flaws such as a teeny kitchen with no pantry space. Only 1 person can fit in the kitchen at one time. The laundry room is located in the tiny kitchen and the bathrooms don't have vents so they get steamy. Besides that, we enjoyed it.

The rooms were wonderful! My husband and I enjoyed having a kitchen and a Jacuzzi tub partially in the bedroo. Most of our days were spent at Disney or Universal, but the room was a treat to come back to. We had a view of the golf course and it was very quiet. The rooms were a bit cold for my taste, but a quick call to the operator got me extra blankets, and my husband said the temperature was fine. We absolutely loved eating at The Grill one night- if you stay there you shouldn't miss it! The food was excellent. Highly recommend.

They are very accommodating. The bell boys were able to take our luggage to our room across the resort. The kids gym is a nice addition to the experience. The rooms are solid and everything you would expect of a Marriott. Lovely grounds.

Amazing hotel. The place is enormous! Rooms are very clean, spacious and super comfortable, plus they are pretty. Most have Amazing views either to the lake, pool or golf course. You have many in restaurants, a mini Market, many pools and Hot pools. Great location, near all the Parks and shopping outlets. The staff is really really friendly and helpful. I call this place my home away from home.

No cable when we visited. No place in the bathroom to hang your towel and no room service. Also forgot our toothbrush. Even the lower priced places offer you, yes a cheap but free toothbrush if you forget yours. Not this place. Paid $8 for a basic one. I'm not a super religious person, but have never stayed at a motel, hotel or resort that didn't have a bible in the room. I know these things seem minor. And believe me I'm not one to find things to complain about. But it just seems that if your paying $$$ dollars to stay at 4+ star resort in the tourist capital of the world these things should be easily assessable to the guest.

Really nice place with clean rooms and big pools. Food options are limited to bar food but are reasonably priced. Minus 2 stars for the lazy staff. I noticed a couple of dead bats by the kiddie pool (next to the main pool) and told a couple employees in that area...They couldn't have cared less which means it's a common occurrence. Most rational people would worry about kids getting rabies...not these workers. Watch your kids at this place.

The resort facilities were very good. The on site restaurant was nice. We tried the BBQ for four which was very generous and worth the value. The rooms are well maintained and clean. The resort has a concierge providing ticket purchase for attractions, no discounts were offered.

We have stayed here multiple times and the rooms are spacious and clean. The grounds are clean and quiet. Plus, the staff has always been nice and professional. Extra benefit, its often cheaper than a regular hotel room stay in a comparable size room!

We've stayed at plenty of resorts in Orlando and this is our favorite! The resort is beautifully maintained, quiet, and has great water or golf views. Our unit was very clean, everything worked, and the beds were super comfy. There is an on-site grocery store, spa, golf course, etc. However, after long days at Disney, the only thing we really cared about was a great night sleep, which we received. Right down the street from great food, Seaworld, etc. All you need is within a mile. We will be back next year!

So resort is very nice... It is gate guarded, staff was very nice, 3 or 4 pool areas, one had sort of a playground area in the pool for kids, and the grounds are very well kept There is one full service restaurant, as well as a grill, and pizza joint near pools. Resort is very close to Sea World and Universal and Disney are both 15-20 minutes. Our room was a one bedroom with full kitchen and laundry which was really nice! Only a couple minor complaints... For some reason they didn't replace the cream and sugar service every morning... I got coffee just not the accoutrements?, one day they missed the maid service (probably because we were sleeping in on the wrong time zone), we called to have them come... They never did, and lastly... There seemed to be mold growing on the ceiling of our unit! It is very humid in Orlando... Maybe this is common in the area and they clean every few months? I don't know... But it was a little odd to say the least!

Been coming here since I was a kid for family vacations! If you're looking for a place to stay with lots to do, eat, and a nice room this is the place to go. Convenient location and separated from the business of Orlando. Although if you're looking for good service and friendly staff I would not recommend. It gets worse every time we go. But it's definitely worth it for the location and the relaxing atmosphere!

Amazing resort with all that you want. Everything you need has been well thought of. The resort is reasonably priced. I would definitely consider the place in my next visit.

I noted that someone mentioned that the maintenance attendance is poor. I would tend to disagree. The resort is well maintained and the response of the maintenance team is rapid and prompt.

My family had our annual family vacation here. This includes my mom, two sisters, and eight children ages eight to sixteen. There is recreation and fun for everyone. The resort does almost hourly activities. There are activities for individuals and groups.
The two teen boys enjoyed spending time playing ball. The younger ones enjoyed the arcade. We all enjoyed the many pools. Grandma enjoyed staying in and watching TV. She got out for the Family Feud. You should nor get bored
The amusement parks like Sea World, Aquatics, and Discovery Cove are just 15 minutes away.
Most of the employees are friendly and helpful.

This place is so awesome! Great for all ages. There is so much to do here, that I recommend having a couple days with no plans, just to enjoy what this place has to offer. My brothers went fishing. My aunt, cousin, mom, sister in law, and I got messages. We had drinks down by the pool. My niece had ice cream and got her hair braided. My husband and I got dinner at one of the restaurants one night. You literally could spend days here and never leave. The pools and grounds are clean and well maintained. Our room was clean and had two great balconys. I could go on and on about how great this place is, but just go and experience it for yourself.

Very nice, few frills resort. Great place to stay when going to the big parks- plenty to do on a down day. Food is kinda meh, but there are grocery stores nearby so you can avoid that issue altogether. Rooms are spacious and comfortable. Decent quality kitchen appliances and wares.

Visited my friends who were staying there. Really nice resort. You're right by all of the theme parks, but they also have a good amount of activities to keep people (young and old) busy. The pools were nice and clean. I liked the fire pits they had as well.

Pretty large resort with decent amenities. One of the largest Marriott vacation resort, seems pretty easy to book a room on points even last minute. Food are OK just bit of pricey (21 dollars for a regular sized pizza). Draft beer selection is pretty thin. Two pool areas with one of them more geared towards kids. Not many orgnized events. Rooms are pretty large and clean, although not as good as some of the newer resorts.

Was a phenomenal hotel! We got a two bedroom hotel that were very modern and clean (with exception of a bit of crumbs). Door in the middle that allowed lots of privacy. Both had comfortable beds. Larger room had a giant, clean kitchen, a large living room, large bathroom with an amazing tub, a desk in thhe bedroom, a neat washer and dryer, and several cups if you have a family or larger group. Both rooms had a giant couch that can also turn into a bed. Both rooms also had a convenient porch that overlooked the pool. Pool was also amazing. Warm water that's enjoy able, very few people (unlike other places). Separate water area for younger kids. Jacuzzi was great! Parking was plenty to choose from. Right in front of my rooms.

Cons: need more specific signs to guide you the actual hotel and "front lobby"/guest registration.

Stayed here for three nights. Very nice place to be in. Room was very clean and quiet. All amenities were new. Really nothing to complain about. Jacuzzi tab right in the bedroom plus additional bathroom / restroom behind the door. Washer + Dryer, Dishwasher, huge fridge, microwave, electric stove. A lot of parking places. I was able to park my car right in front of my unit. Great to stay with family and kids. I'll stay here next time for sure.

Staying at the Marriott Grande Vista in Orlando, Florida. In building 85, room is smaller than the older section but more than adequate. Rooms are very quiet. Washer and dryer in room, nice glass ware, stone ware, untensils, pots pans. 3 televisions, Cable TV. Nice pools, towels are provided, attentive pool staff. Dozens of family activities offered for all ages. Perfect location for all the big parks. Great place.

Nice clean, spacious rooms. We had a 2 bed 2 bath with a family of four and very comfortable. The resort itself is quite nice. They have a few different areas with different pools. Activities going on all day, really liking it so far.

Property and staff are welcoming, clean, and hospitable. Studio rooms were good size. Food on premise was pretty good (eat at the grill) and the market was reasonably priced. Golf course looked great although 9 holes. Plenty of pools and amenities - for the kids, for the parents. Close proximity to Disney (25min) and Sea world (

Great Orlando Vacation Destination Stay for the family. Plenty of things to do with the family. Kids can have a blast at this resort & it's a stones throw from all the major theme parks. Great pool amenities & friendly staff. It's priced similarly to other high-end resorts. All the food we've had was great. My only critique is that I would like to have more house keeping without having to call the front desk, but that's part of the stay of no unnecessary energy waste of changing sheets & towels until needed.

Fantastic property! One of Marriott's finest. The room we stayed in was very recently remodeled with fresh coat of paint on the walls, new carpeting, new mattress and bedding and new furniture. Our balcony off the room overlooked the lagoon and fountain. Beautiful! The property amenities are very nice - enjoyed excercising in the state of the art work out room filled with well maintained equipment. Everything is clean, manicured and lushly landscaped. Staff are friendly and helpful especially the folks in housekeeping and front desk. Would absolutely recommend staying here with family and friends while visiting Orlando.

My parents and siblings and I went for Christmas. The weather was great! The resort has great daily activities for families and live music filled the air. The grounds are kept beautifully. The walls are thick and you don't hear who is next door or on the floor above you. I enjoyed my stay and the fact that each room had a private patio for fresh air. The ice cream suite was a special treat as well!

The resort area is nice. Lots of open space surrounded by a golf course. Having a clubhouse on site, it seems like there is always something to do. However, if you wanna leave site and go someplace like Disney world you have a decently long hike. Nothing terrible but just something to keep in mind. The rooms are nice. Few nit picks here and there but overall alright. Haven't tried room service yet, but there is a Starbucks and pizza hut on site!

We were disappointed in the "studio" room we were given by Interval. Although many villas were still available, and we are owners, both Marriott and Interval refused to upgrade our week long stay to a villa. Disappointing. This resort is in the midst of renovations, and they are much needed. Smelly room. Roaches. No housekeeping services. Laundry services are "available," but broken dryer. Not what we are used to from a Marriott property. I don't think we will make a return visit.

My wife and I decided to take a weekend getaway to celebrate our 45th wedding anniversary. As a platinum member (Marriott's best customers) we used her points to book a 1 bedroom villa, up high with a view of the lake. The property is old (28 years) but kept up pretty well and located in the heart of the all the important sites.

When we arrived we were assigned a studio (although the hotel was less than 80% occupied). OK, no problem. But the room really was pretty small, on the second floor overlooking a medium sized pool.

The kitchen was a counter with a sink and a mini-fridge. The mini-fridge did not have a freezer compartment. The microwave was located in the bottom of the cabinet, four inches from the floor. How would you use that?

There was a nice big coffeemaker, but only one small creamer and one sweetener. I guess we were supposed to drink it black. There were two pieces of furniture - the bed and a couch. Sorry, there was also a small table with two wooden chairs.

As an older couple we had no interest in Disney, but we wanted to enjoy some adult beverages in our room before going out. We were hoping for a little glamour - a little pizzazz! Not so much here.

That's when we discovered that the property had no ice machines and ice had to be delivered by a bellman. It took well over an hour to get it. We were told that the busy check-in compounded by rain held it up. "We're trying to buy some ice machines," we were told. Are you kidding? Marriott probably buys 3 - 4 thousand ice machines each year.

Then we started to notice little things:

- Mini-fridge does not have a freezer compartment.
- Few outlets for phones, ipads, computers, etc.
- No bath mat
- No tub mat or non-skid surface
- No one could explain the process of getting thru the security gate
- The restaurant is hidden in the golf building
- No "cool deck" surface at the swimming resulting in dangerously hot bricks.

All of the employees were very nice and we had a nice time. But this not a four star hotel. It's really a big three star motor inn with a few nice amenities. As a 7 rated resort in the Marriott point system this property leaves a lot to be desired.

One more thing: why did they ask if we were celebrating an occasion if they were not planning to act on the information? They did nothing. Remember as a platinum member my wife is their best continuing customer. When we went to dinner at Maggiano's (a great place - try it) they asked the same question. Then they delivered a spectacular special dessert for free. And we have never even been there before.

If you are looking for a luxurious hotel for a romantic getaway... go someplace else. From now on it's Hyatt for us.

We love this place! After staying at so many resorts throughout the area over the years, I think it's safe to say, this is where we will return for future visits. Beautiful and welcoming! Lots of activities, and beautiful pools! Very clean and great staff. Didn't hound you for a time share either, which is very rare considering the area!

Great place to stay. Our flight landed at 5 am and we got there around 6 am. We weren't supposed to be able to check in til 4 pm but they found us an available room anyways. The scenery is beautiful and they had some live entertainment on the shore of the small lake between buildings. A great experience overall.
