Certifications

Audubon International Gold

The Audubon Green Leaf Eco-Rating Program began in 1998 to meet the lodging industry's desire to provide quality guest services while minimizing its impact on the environment. Hotels are awarded one to five Green Leaves based upon the hotel’s commitment to:

• Saving energy
• Reducing waste
• Conserving water and resources
• Preventing pollution

The state of New York is launching its state hotel certification program using the Green Leaf standard. The New York State Hospitality and Tourism Association selected Audubon International’s Green Leaf Eco Rating Program for Hotels to be the independent third-party evaluator for its green lodging certification, which is part of a larger state initiative to support and market sustainable tourism.

Absolutely the get away place for couples or families. Excellent service, clean, friendly, did I mention good food, everything you need at your finger tips. Great birthday celebration!! Highly recommended.

I would love to give 5 stars but I cannot due to the room key issues. The property and our room was amazing. The service was outstanding. We had to go down to the front desk several times because our room keys would not work, nor would they work when trying to park in the self parking lot.

Fantastic time, i would come back. Service was wonderful people were so pleasant and heart warming. The restaurant manager took her time to talk to us and many others were so friendly. The rooms were so clean and the engineering dept were so accomidating because our washer needed repairs.

This place is great for those who like to sit and relax on vacation or for those who want to see, go and do while on vacation. It offers fun for all ages, and it's clean and beautifully manicured. My favorite things here are the lazy river pool (day and evening) the gardens, the accessibility to many amenities, the location to many fun things outside of resort, the number of other patrons (not too busy, but not secluded) and the all ages atmosphere.

This is the most beautiful property! The staff is amazing, they get to know you and your family. The grounds are gorgeous and well maintained, the rooms are large and fully equipped. There are always fun activities planned for young and old. Truly a hidden gem in Orlando.

Very nice MCVI property. Not too crowded and the staff goes out of their way to be friendly. Rooms are well laid out (we had a 2 bedroom suite). They feel even bigger than they are. The Marketplace could be better stocked with cooking basics (specifically seasonings - nothing beyond salt and pepper, literally) to help out folks cooking in their units.

This is a great property with fantastic bars and restaurants. We've never had a bad meal. The staff is always helpful. Keep in mind this is a large property and it can be busy with conferences etc. The golf course is a great bonus.

Love this place. It is a hidden gem and reasonably priced. The accommodations are attractive and clean. The amenities include a big pool and tennis courts. You also have access to the amenities at the nearby Marriott and Ritz.

Gorgeous grounds! The pool goes around an island with bridges connecting to it. The staff is all very friendly and helpful. There are on-grounds activities just about every 2 hours ranging from mixology classes to smores making. The on-site restaurant is pretty good, bit of a limited selection but not too bad. It's got a good kid's menu too. Decent cocktails and draft menu as well.

An exceptional resort for families of all ages. Every one of the staff is very helpful and friendly. The fitness center is the best and the "lazy river" pool is fun for everyone. You won't be disappointed with anything here.

Great location, beautiful property, well maintained. Room service is limited to pizza menu. The shower has a very low flow showerhead. If you have thick or long hair, you will be miserable. The one bedroom with a balcony was spacious for two. Highly recommend

Typical Marriott hospitality. The rooms are nice, spacious and well appointed, the staff are responsive and pleasant to deal with. The only blemish is the Blossom bar and grill where while everyone is still pleasant and helpful, they are way understaffed and overworked. There needs to be a system in place to we other deliver food to customers in a timely manner or a way of informing guests their food is ready. This is especially strange since another marriott vacation club - Harbour Lakes - has the pool bar/restaurant thing sussed. Other than that, super nice place to stay, friendly staff and very nice pool and surroundings.

Amazing timeshare property, feels more like a luxury hotel, great pool. It's small compared to most Orlando timeshares. It has access to most of the amenities at the JW Marriott next door (5min walk) and at the Ritz Carlton (much longer walk on the other side of JW Marriott).

Lovely hassle free vacation. Our condo was beautify decorated. One negative, the furniture, though pretty, was not comfortable.
We enjoyed several evenings at the onsite cafe and breakfast at the Ritz Carlton that shares the property with Lakeshore and a JW Marriott. The amenities at both hotels are available to Lakeshore guests.
Will we go back? Yes.

If their is a term which exceeds amazing or the absolute best, Marriot's Lakeshore Reserve will fall into that category. From the minute you drive up to the property, to going through the check in process, you are immediately treated warm, receptive and like you are at a home away from home. Great place for family, or couples. Very well appointed place to be on vacation. Now you have to remember this is Florida. What I mean it does get warm here, there are many little beautiful animals here. Too many wonderful things to say about this property. Come see and enjoy. One of the best of the best.

Lovely, compact resort. It was very quiet when we visited during the first week of December. Pool area and lazy river is huge and the water is warm. There is even a small lawn where there are various activities like ladderball, cornhole toss, ping pong, pool table, and even giant chess. Additionally, it was my brother’s birthday, and we mentioned it to the staff. First, the staff surprised us with a card and a balloon, then one of the staff, Junie, even gave us a cake! Overall it was a wonderful experience and is our favorite resort in Orlando. I can’t wait to come here again!

The Lakeshore Reserve is an amazing resort. The recreational areas behind the main building are beautiful and functionally dense. There's just so much to do. The lazy river, ping-pong and pool tables, and lots of foliage are all great. The rooms are nice, too, with ample space, exquisite style, and quality amenities. The staff are excellent; one even brought a cake to my room after she learned it was my birthday. When I realized the refrigerator light was broken, someone came in and fixed it immediately. I can't recommend Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve enough.

Had a nice stay at this resort. Our sheets were dirty when we arrived (late) but they worked hard to fix the situation. The condo was nicely appointed and the pool was beautiful. It's in the middle between Universal and Disney and you can't really go much of anywhere without paying a toll.

It's a beautiful property but difficult to enjoy. I've group took over the pool to play (in their own words), aggressive volley ball. The walls are thin so we could hear everything our neighbors were saying.

Exchange my Westgate Lakes timeshare for this hotel. And it was an excellent deal. Very nice pool with lazy river. Activities all day long. It is a 20 minute ride from Disney parks. They even let us use the JW Marriott pool. Other guests were well behaved people and we really enjoyed the property.

Well it's been pretty great but when we first got to the room there was blood on the sheets. The problem was quickly resolved when we called the front desk and everything else about the property and room has been wonderful. However that was just kind of a gross first impression.

Lakeshore Reserve is the best of the MVC resorts in Orlando. The pool and grounds are elegant, it's never crowded, it's got two water slides and plenty of kid's activities, and it's adjacent to the JW Marriott and the Ritz Carlton. The dining options at those two hotels are fabulous. It's one of the main reasons we keep returning to this resort.

Stayed 2 days during the week of Thanksgiving. Perfect mini-vacation for the family. Had also visited in September for a girls' weekend and we also enjoyed. Lazy river wasn't busy for either stay. Kids (and adults!) really enjoyed floating around and all the other activities offered (pool tables, ping pong, bocce ball, corn hole, ladderball, chess, shuffle board, water slide!) Stayed in 2 bd townhouse with family, which was really nice. Since we live a few hours away, this will definetly be a weekend getaway in the future.

The villas are roomy and well appointed. The lazy river is nice, but maybe a little too lazy. The water slides are a blast! It was a nice relaxing day enjoying the pool and soaking up the sun. If and when I return to Orlando, this would be my first choice!

We stayed at one villa and it was huge! Very comfortable and it had everything you need in a house. My daughter enjoyed the pool, and I enjoyed the quietness. The villa was for 12 people but we were only 8 so we were more than comfortable. I had graduated and they had asked me if we were celebrating something so they received me with a balloon and a letter congratulating me (I am the kind of person who gets excited with the little deatils) so that was huge for me!

Visited friends who own a timeshare at the Villas. We enjoyed great fun family activities. cocktails and food The lazy river was a blast too. Marriott's Lakeshore Reserve is a great resort with a relaxing lazy river, good bar food, and fun activities for kids. The lazy river never seems too crowded and the water temperature is at a comfortable level; warm and refreshing. There is shuffle board, bags, ladder ball, and bocce ball in a nice grassy area. There are events throughout the day for both kids and adults like tye-die shirt making, bingo, cookie making, cocktail making, etc. The tree house is a fun play area indoors for kids with video games, books, games, and other activities for kids. There is also a good selection of movies that you can borrow at no charge to watch in your room.

You can also use the pool/lazy river at the JW Marriott and a Ritz Carlton that are on the property. It is a nice walk by a couple lakes and golf course to get to the other hotels. It is a great place for a vacation!

Amazing service. The rooms are clean and has everything you would need for a luxury home away from home. Quiet and private from the busy Orlando. It's a brief drive from Seaworld, Disney & Universal. The only downside would be the size of the TV. It's a little small.

Lovely place. First time staying at this one. Good service. I say good only because the gate for the pool has been broken since we got here and have told them numerous times and yet someone still has to fix it. Do they need a tragedy before something gets done? Many small children are here. Otherwise very nice place....ok update. As of our 5th day here, the fountain has been fixed or addressed 2 times in 3 days but yet nothing has been done about broken gate for the pool. Priorities i guess. Childrens life dont matter as long as the pool and fountains look good

This was our first time staying at this resort and it won't be our last. We have previously stayed at the adjacent JW and nearby Grande Vista. This property provides a more relaxing and tropical experience as the grounds are exceptional. The resort is much smaller compared to other Marriott Vacation Clubs which provides even more personal service from staff members. We also noticed how clean the entire property was. You also get to experience all the pools and outdoor activities of the JW and Ritz Carlton. Just stay here!
