This hotel is phenomenal. I will forever recommend for families, especially because it is pet friendly! The SPA rooms with the soaking tubs are great, large spacious bathrooms and comfy pillows. The lobby is also very cute. We were introduced to the General Manager and treated with care and respect. Our Bernese Mountain puppy gets very hot so the staff brought him a box fan for the room so he could sleep comfortably. They even gave him a little gift when we checked out.

Can’t wait to return!

Again, the GM was so kind and truly cared about the guests and the state of the hotel. I saw him working and even assisting front desk and maintenance staff. That’s dedication and leadership imo.

I stayed at the Kimpton Monaco in Denver twice. Both times were wonderful! Staff is among the best hotel staff I've dealt with - always acoomodating, always pleasant. Rooms are clean, well kept, comfortable and stylish. Oh, and they host a complimentary wine hour each day! Location is terrific too! I always try to stay at a Kimpton in any town I visit.

I would highly recommend this hotel to anyone staying in Denver. The hotel staff was amazing and went above and beyond to make us feel extra special during our stay. We were surprised with a room upgrade and champagne for our anniversary. We enjoyed wine hour with a nice chair massage! We couldn’t have asked for a better stay. Thanks for making our stay memorable!

WOW, what an incredible experience! I was treated like royalty.
So we made our first ever reservation at the Monaco for my company Christmas party.

I absolutely loved the hotel. I got the executive suite, and was greeted with fresh fruit, chocolate and wine. Thank you so much for going the extra mile to make my stay that much more special.

As a spire elite member, I highly recommend trying the Kimpton brand. The hotels are incredible, and we love the food service.

I've stayed at several hotels in downtown Denver, and I can confidently say that this is not only the best stay we've had in Denver, but probably the best hotel that my wife and I have ever stayed in (B & B's excluded). We were here for our honeymoon in the spa room with a jacuzzi, and we were offered champagne and chocolates when we were checked in. Our room was enormous, and I still remember how comfortable the bed was. Maybe it was the time of year we stayed, but the price was quite reasonable for the quality of the room. I might add that the Italian restaurant at the Monaco was fantastic, some of the best Italian food we've ever had. Another perk of staying here, and the location is perfect right in the middle of downtown. Can't recommend the Monaco highly enough between the service and room quality.

I'd never stayed at a Kimpton Hotel before, but after this experience I will absolutely look for one during my next trip. I was impressed with everything, from the room to the service. The location was within walking distance to a ton of places, including Union Station, Coors Field, and countless restaurants. Will definitely look to stay here again!

Stayed three nights here. The rooms are well put together and decorated and immediately make you feel good about the price. Bed was excellent. Staff were amazing and offered fantastic advice on Denver. The wine and cocktail hour is very nice and came with an optional massage. Serious. Would definitely stay here again.

The location is fantastic. Very close to Larimar square and other great sites. The bedrooms are brand new and very nice but a little dark. Very dog friendly and love it. Staff is fantastic! Especially Ross at the front.

A really wonderful stay. Kimpton does many little things right that others would be well to emulate. For example, allowing guests to text the front desk with requests instead of requiring someone to call or make a trip downstairs is an obvious but really great innovation (at least I have not seen it before). Would have no problem recommending the hotel to others. Service was outstanding.

Stayed as an overnight guest while conducting business in Denver. Convenient downtown location close to restaurants, shopping, and convention center/theater district. As with all Kimptons, the customer service was warm and welcoming. My room faced the center of the hotel which of course limited my view but on the positive, also limited outside noise. The room was well appointed, bathroom modern, bed was comfortable. I would recommend the Monaco for anyone looking for a hotel in the downtown Denver area.

The Monaco is so beautiful and well designed. It's location may be the best in the entire Denver area. The service was amazing on all levels. They are experiencing loud construction from their neighbors to one side right now (summer '18) and we were booked on that side. It didn't bother us as we don't spend much time in our room on trips, but it would bother others. Just make sure to request a room not on that side. The room was beautiful, bathroom sparkling, and a very comfy bed to relax in after all your adventures.

Beautiful hotel with an amazing location in the heart of downtown Denver. Beautifully appointed rooms and a welcoming staff.

Great beds, beautiful interior of the room. Clean, lobby and common areas. Reasonable prices, easy in and easy out.

Hybrid vehicles park in the garage for 50% off. Will definitely return and recommend!

We had a wonderful time at the Monaco! The staff was fun and very nice. The decor was new and very fun--a blend of classic and very modern! The bed was comfy, the shower was tall, and the free booze during happy hour was generous! The location was perfect for walking to shops and restaurants. Will definitely be back!

Great conference facilities with great snacks and food. Good assortment of choices for breakfast and lunch. The bed room is spacious, comfortable, and clean. There is a desk with good working space and lighting. They provided a hot tea set up for me instead of the in-room coffee. There is always ice water in the lobby. Yesterday's was cucumber lime. Today's fruit water was watermelon. I am enjoying my stay here!

Overall nice property. Stayed during construction being done. Saturday morning construction work noises started at 6;30 am and 7am on Saturday. Was quite frustrating in addition to the manager social hour not providing bites for all who attended. Small amount provided and not replenished. Morning coffee out of creamer, cups and lids. 3 staff behind desk chatting and when I asked for assistance they called on radio and other employee came out and replenished about 10 minutes later. Items sans cream we're all at station. Other employees could have easily assisted but their conversation was simply too important. Enjoy Kimtop properties usually. Denver location should take notes from Seattle site.

It is the little things that brought this rating down.
1. They were rehabbing a room on our floor by the elevator and there was dust and debris in the hallway.
2. The "suite" is really one slightly larger room. There is a partial wall between the bed area and living room area but no door.
3. There is a lot of unused space in the room for a very small bathroom.
4. The shower stall door did not close all the way
5. The magnifying mirror in the bathroom is broken and won't hold position.
6. The pocket door to the bathroom...sticks. and is clearly scraping to the point where the paint is coming off.
7. The valet is $46.

Good items:
Room was clean, bed was comfortable.

Kimpton is a great hotel with really beautiful, contemporary decor, comfortable rooms and close to the center of the city. However, one area where the hotel lacked was it's service - all service requests we're delayed, sometimes by 30+ minutes (except in the early mornings) and some we're never met at all. Typically I wouldn't have cared, but traveling with a baby became much harder as a result (when you're waiting for hot water to make food for 20+ minutes).

One of my favorite hotel brands. They care about guests seeing great art, allow dogs and have a good wine reception every night at 5pm. The staff is friendly. I've been to a lot of events in their meeting rooms and even when you're in a windowless basement room, it feels comfortable and classy.

Stayed 2 nights, we reserved one queen but when we checked in late Friday night all they had was a room with 2 queens he said if we wanted to change rooms the next morning we could. No big deal just wanted to get in room. The room was nice enough except the thermostat was broken and heater was on high all night long. Called front desk in morning let them know about the issue and asked to move to another room. They said to repack our bags and they would move us to new room while we're out for the day. The problem was when we returned the clerk at front desk and manager had no idea what we we're talking about. The manager did offer to send up an engineer and gave us a $50 credit to the restaurant nextdoor. Thankfully when we returned they had managed to fix heat and give us the night free. Overall I would give them another chance since they made things right.

a group of 12 of us travel to Denver for New yrs weekend 2017 and stayed at the Kimpton Hotel Monaco. I must say the hotel was nice and the staff was awesome. There was some issues but the hotel staff addressed them immediately. The hotel rooms were clean the hotel its self is very nice. Jessica staff was awesome and I cant remember the man name at night that was at the front desk but he was awesome as well. I would recommend this hotel and will be back! The location was everything right in the middle of where ever we wanted to go no car needed. This trip was awesome!

Valet parking, very courteous staff, immaculate rooms with great views and presents waiting for us under our trees. Five Star Italian restaurant adjacent to the hotel with adjoining door so you don't have to go outside in the cold. Great hotel. Really clean rooms and very accommodating for pets as we brought a dog with us. They had a food and water dish waiting for us as well as a bed in the room for our dog as well! Keep in mind this is downtown so bathroom spots for the dog is a few blocks away.

Great rooms...LOVE the bathroom/shower. So spacious and clean. The decor is spunky, fresh, and just the right balance of energizing and relaxing. Fun retro vibe to it as well. Kimpton does a great job of thinking of everything amenities-wise (and the products provided smell great!). Front desk personnel here were responsive and efficient. Valet and bell were wonderful. Only downside was very late check-in and leaving next day they begrudgingly allowed "late" check-out of 12:45pm. Made getting work done on a Friday arrival impossible and enjoying hotel amenities more difficult.

The room was clean, but the bathroom was very dated and small. There was very little table space in the room for room service and only one small desk and chair available for sitting separate from the bed. There was no access to a mini fridge, I believe it was behind a locked cabinet because we could here it running. The concierge and the staff was awesome. The building was under construction while we were there which was less than desirable. Our room view was the top of a giant construction tarp. If it weren't for the construction and the small bathroom and dressing area, I would have rated higher, but for the price, it wasn't worth it.

We want to thank the front desk staff for their ever helpful and friendly service. Loved the fresh fruit, nuts, and chocolate truffles (wow) waiting for us in our room after a long and tedious journey. The complementary wine tickets were much appreciated too. My wife and I have stayed here once in each of the last two years when we go to Denver to watch Baseball when the SF Giants play the Colorado Rockies. We have enjoyed staying here and have no serious complaints. It is located 10 or so blocks from Coors Field and not far from the 16th street Mall making it a good location when the weather is good (not sure what it would be like in the winter).

The rooms are comfortable as are the beds and the staff is attentive. I think the only complaints we have had have been temporary in nature. On the most recent trip, one of the two elevators was out of order making it more challenging to get up or down from our room to the lobby. The do have a daily free happy hour, but my wife and I don't drink so that is less interesting to us. The front desk staff have always been helpful when I needed something from them.

Kimpton Karma does offer some nice perks, but they are hard to activate when I need them. I wish they could make that easier. I regularly use the free $10 each stay they give in the mini-bar and the free in-room wifi for Kimpton members, but I have not been able to successfully utilize the free stays or free upgrades I have earned via the program.

From the moment we pulled up, the valet, porter, and reception desk staff were fabulous. Our room (premium king) was huge! We enjoyed our visit to the hotel very much. Staff was great, location is extremely handy to so much of Downton. We enjoyed our breakfast at the downstairs restaurant. The room is gorgeous, it's the room pictured in the advertisement... Tons of room, but oddly no bureau to hold clothes? There was a closet, so that helped. Overall a very nice stay!

So many choices that it's hard to decide on an order. Tea lovers probably appreciate the choices, and I am always happy with what I get. Tea Cloud is not a place to sit at length. It sends you on your way with a drink to enjoy out in the world. I am fond of the boba they serve. They offer many satisfying flavors that are not sweet.

Stayed in April for a romantic getaway/celebration, and enjoyed every bit of our stay here. Clean rooms that are well decorated. Great food from room service and excellent restaurant, Panzano downstairs. We had a nice little gold fish friend in the room with us that was a nice whimsical touch. Great customer service - they delivered an anniversary treat to us on the first night (So sweet!!). The attached salon is excellent. On our first day I made an appointment for a wash and style, and the stylist did so well, that I did not have to do my own hair, at all, for two whole days, leaving me with more time to enjoy the city and the hotel! Great cocktail hour offerings. I would have given 5 stars, but I cannot because of 2 things: unfortunately the bed was quite uncomfortable, and although I had a room with a nice bathtub (I made sure of it), they do not have enough soaking/jetted tub options. Bathrooms and bath tubs are SUPER important....especially while vacationing. More hotels need to work on their bathrooms. However, I will say that they have done some recent bathroom renovations that have added a few more soaking tubs, but those rooms are limited. Overall I would absolutely stay again, just would hope for a better mattress next time. Thanks Kimpton Monaco Denver for a wonderful stay, and treating us with such care!

Nice hotel, good location for walking. Free wine, beer and massage every night for one hour. Spectacular restaurant with four diamonds on first floor called Panzana. Rooms nice, comfortable. However, fan broken in bathroom in both rooms I rented. Called and front desk sent up engineer one hour later who said the fans weren't broken, they were just weak. One huge fan on roof which sucks and exhausts from each room. Great, but the windows do NOT open on any room and with non-existent fan, every shower steams up room, every bathroom visit makes room uninhabitable. The staff was very friendly and helpful. Do NOT eat at Tom's Urban Legend which concierge recommended. Dreadful, nearly inedible food! Four of us ate there and ordered the burger, a pulled pork sandwich, a big salad, etc, and they were all absolutely disgusting. I do not say this lightly as I can eat nearly anything and am not very picky. Instead eat at Modern Market where you can get a healthy, flavorful meal for about $10 US.

The room looked out to a parking garage. The room was also very hard to cool at night making it sort of difficult to stay asleep. We asked for some amenities for the kids and didn't get them until we asked again. The only thing offered in the morning was coffee and hot water. The Ros were nice and clean and the soap products they use smell great. Very friendly staff.

The hotel is in the heart of downtown Denver, along the route of the Denver Christmas parade, which we weren't expecting to run into when we made reservations since we came from out of state. We ate at the Italian restaurant. The food was superb. The service from our server, specifically, was outstanding. It was a little off putting to see the manager of the restaurant sitting at the bar watching Sunday night football, but it certainly didn't effect our food quality or the service delivered. Would highly recommend the restaurant for a quick business dinner or nice evening out.

Love Kimptons everywhere, this is no exception. Clean, classy, modern, friendly, well priced, convenient... You get the idea. Stay here.

Staff on check in where a little kurt, I had used my credit card with no problems for three weeks prior to arriving here and after swiping once the young lady behind the desk blurted it won't scan do you have another card. Rather than argue the point I provided another card. I have stayed here before so the room was as I expected, clean neat with a great bed. Check out was much better with the aussie guy, Steve? being very cheerful and pleasant. Would stay here again but I will be looking for options that have a pool.

I love Kimpton hotels all the time but especially when traveling with the dogs. Very pet friendly and no extra fee or deposit! Dog park is 3 blocks away with friendly locals. Staff was helpful and so friendly. Great location near plenty of downtown activities, restaurants, cafes, and bars. Room was spotless and decor was beautiful! Bed was comfortable and room was a good size. Would definitely recommend.

Nice downtown location, nice and friendly staff. Room was nice but very expensive vallet. Room had a view of a parking deck but that didn't bother us too much. Solid hotel.

Started off rough but ended up being great. Got in at 10pm and woke up at 6am to the nonstop dinging of the elevator (next to our room). Went down to get free coffee and casually brought up the issue with the desk worker. She upgraded us to a huge suite, free, for the next two nights! On top of that, their concierge handed us a bottle of wine.

The rest of the stay was perfect and we'll definitely be Kimpton loyal when we have the chance. The complimentary goldfish for the room is a nice bonus too.

I loved my stay at Hotel Monaco! The digs were great and the staff was so friendly. The location is perfect and wine hour is fantastic. They are so dog friendly, I wish I could have brought my pup, but he doesn't fly. Make sure to request a goldfish, it really brightens up your stay!

Loved this place except the man outside who told me how hostile I am, since I needed a hadicapped access for our van with wheelchair lifft. Had much better experiences prior.

Stayed in May with my dog, he is a Pittbull for therapy dog training. The whole staff from the front door to room service were awesome and didn't freak out over my dog.You see Pittbull breeds are banned in Denver, sad, but just to let everyone know this is a great Hotel. Can't wait to go back. Oh by the way my dog, Chance passed all his testing and is now a Therapy dog. Thank you
