Classy brick style brownstone with attractive rooms. Just off King St. and within walking distance of all of Old Town's restaurants and shopping. The staff is very good and professional. However, if you intend to work from your room, the wifi is abysmal.

Has the feel of a bed and breakfast. Walking distance to all the things you need in Alexandria. Very nice staff - great stay!

Priceline assigned us this hotel. This hotel was so cute and boutique styled. The decor and interior pieces were amazing. My husband had difficulty finding parking but you pull right up for valet parking. There was a bar the the left and tea lounging area to the right. We were greeted warmly at checkin and assigned to a first floor room. We took an elevator down to our room. It was small but chic. The staff was nice and helpful. We took an Uber to eat dinner at Clyde’s with family for the evening. The next morning we are in the upstairs breakfast area. Breakfast was made to order and was perfect.! This hotel is walking distance to many of old towns’ Main Street shops. This is not a traditional hotel with pool and fitness center. It is boutique style. We would stay here again.

One block off King Street so location is fantastic. Lots of dining and specialty shops in the area. Staff at hotel is very friendly and accommodating. My room was small but very quaint. Love this place!

Incredibly accommodating. Provided extra furniture in my room at request, brought ice in minutes and bartender was awesome. Great getaway for romantic adventures. Bedposts can even support chains!

Perfect spot for an overnight in Old Town. Great location. Staff was top notch from the moment of Check In to breakfast the next morning. Sam and Benjamin and the rest of the staff were courteous and professional and made us feel welcome.

One block off King Street so location is fantastic. Staff is very friendly and accommodating. My room was small but very quaint. Disappointed that in this day and age, WiFi in the room was not free.

Staff is very friendly and helpful. Room was great. Location is a bit far up King St but still a walkable distance to anything a visitor may want to see. Overall met every expectation of an AC property.

Pretty hotel in Old Town Alexandria. Friendly front desk staff. Clean, well-decorated fresh room with nice bathroom. Water pressure on 5th floor was a bit weak. Quiet hotel in general. Nice bar area. Limited restaurant menu but the meal was tasty and service was good.

I'm a Platinum Marriott Rewards member. Got a free upgrade to a suite. The rate I chose included a full breakfast for only a dollar extra. The service was exemplary as usual. The accommodations were very nice and the hotel is centrally located in Alexandria.

One of my favorite places I have ever stayed. The atmosphere is friendly, courteous and clean. The building itself is amazing and nicely tucked in a great area to get out and walk around. I suggest the rooms on the bottom floor as they are just a tick better than the rest in my opinion with walk in showers and nice wood tile floors. The only downfall is you get a little traffic noise from people walking around the lobby above but its not anything too concerning or bothersome. Perfectly located off the main street but just close enough to stay quiet at night but still right next to the action and King street. I recommend this place to anyone wanting to be in the mix of Old Town Alexandria. Hop on the free trolly and take it to the metro station and you're in DC in minutes.

Great staff. Very accommodating. Some amenities are dated but mostly because of the main building. Great location and the whole building has a classic feel. We did the escape room around the block and it was great as well.

Clean rooms, updated bathroom, spacious beds. Nice bar area. You could miss the entrance if driving. The entrance is on the side. Valet parking available for you on-site as well as on street parking. Staff is friendly and inviting.

When this hotel was under Kimpton it would have been 5 stars. Unfortunately when it switched over the cooks left. It's in a great location, not great parking options, but if you are willing to move your car in the morning you won't have to pay for overnight parking. Great restaurants near by and shopping. The rooms are small and the last time I stayed I had an issue with the AC which did not get resolved in a timely manner. We did get a voucher for free breakfast so they are willing to make up for it. They need to hire more maintenance workers. But overall its a great hotel when it comes to service otherwise. Usually someone at the front door to greet you and open the door. All the workers were friendly.

This hotel seems to be a step above the rest... they are very welcoming, courteous, polite, and much more. They are respectful of one's privacy and prompt to respond to requests. The atmosphere of Old Towne Alexandria is perfect in providing the colonial lifestyle feeling!!!

This place is amazing! The service was outstanding and the rooms were phenomenal. I stayed on the first floor in the lower level and it was quiet and comfy even with the bar and sitting rooms above. The walk in shower was great.

We enjoyed our stay very much. Small room but exactly what we needed. Lots going on in the area if you want to get out and walk. Breakfast was fantastic. Negatives are, no free WiFi and the television wasn't in HD.

I love this place! It is very close to King Street and all the shops and restaurants. The staff were extremely professional, helpful, and nice. Their coffee is yummy and the bar is nice quite place to have an after dinner drink before retiring. You can sip your drink at the bar or on the small patio outside. The camellias were in bloom so the patio was lovely. If southern charm, polished brass, and a comfy bed are your thing then this is your place!

I attended my cousin's wedding and was truly impressed. As I walked towards the door, a gentleman opened the door to give me entrance. The staff is friendly, polite and made the visit, even more special. It is a boutique hotel which gives a sumptuous impression. Kudos!

Since changing hands, now a Marriott Autograph hotel, it retained most of the staff . They still provide gracious and personal service of a boutique hotel. Not much has changed. Not really a place for kids, or the young adults, though the bar is a nice gathering spot. It offers a serene atmosphere, an oasis of tranquility.

Attended three days of meetings at Morrison House. The room was well designed, the AV guys were friendly and helpful, the food was above standard hotel quality.

If you haven't been to the hotel since the renovation, you won't recognize it. The hotel is just plain beautiful.

The staff at the hotel were the absolute nicest. If I had to use one word to describe everything it was pleasant. The lemon and mint water or lemonade waiting for us for when we got back from exploring was a nice touch. The bed was very comfortable, and the pillows were great. I would 100% recommend.
