Environment

Property's Green Action

It is our objective to run our operation as sustainable as ever possible and limit our impact on the environment. In order to become more sustainable, we work together with suppliers and partners to develop smart solutions that reduce the environmental impact. We reduce and optimize our consumption through the use of measures, such as energy efficient lighting, water consumption reduction, waste and chemical management and green projects.

Certifications

Green Globe

Green Globe’s International Standard for Sustainable Tourism is a certification scheme that requires hotels to report on their sustainability performance throughout their supply chains. It traces its roots back to the United Nations Rio de Janeiro Earth Summit in 1992, where 182 Heads of State endorsed the Agenda 21 principles of Sustainable Development. The standards are a collection of over 330 compliance indicators that are applied to 41 individual sustainability criteria - these can be divided into four themes:

• Sustainable Management
• Social/Economic
• Cultural Heritage
• Environmental

Clients can calculate their CO2e footprint, the financial cost of that CO2e, and track their performance of energy and water consumption and non-recyclable waste production. The certification is only awarded to members that have a compliance rating of at least 51%. The award can then only be maintained if members continually improve by 3% every year.

Typical excellence for a Crowne Plaza. Quiet, residential area with easy metro access to popular sites like the Eiffel Tower and Versailles. Rooms were spacious and beautiful. Front desk was very helpful and friendly.

Amazing location in such elegant area surrounded with lots of trees and parks. Front desk and F&B staff are very professional and it is very well connected with Buses to Paris City Centre . If you wish to reach the city centre by metro, have a walk in stunning Inkerman Avenue and you will reach Les Sablons Line 1 station.

Front desk staff is very professional. The hotel is beautiful and located in a very green area full of trees. Perfect place to stay in Paris if you look for tranquility.

I stayed here a couple of nights with big groups of Indonesians. I enjoyed staying here. It's located in residency area. so, it's peaceful here. The room is spacious and clean. The staffs are friendly and helpful. The breakfast wasn't bad. In the lobby, there was infused water and fruits. That's a plus point.

*What is your Priority Club status?*
Platinum.

*Were you (or for multi-stayers are you generally) happy with the hotel/stay?*
Great stay - 8 out of 10

*Which room did you book and which upgrade did you receive?*
Queen Bed - upgraded to King Room Eiffel Tower View

*How are the rooms?*
Good size, nothing special.
Hardware was good - looks very new. TV was excellent. Shower and bathroom was great. Definitely 4 star level hardware.
Bed was comfortable (medium hardness) and air-con was silent.
Eiffel View is not worth it if you have to pay for it - the tower is so far away in the distance

*What was good and what was bad?*
GOOD
- Room hardware and cleanliness
- Rooms have a nespresso machine and free coffee pods!
- Two free bottles of water provided
- Toiletries are better than the usual
- OK lobby for chilling out
- Hotel private atrium outdoor terrace, which will be amazing in the summer
- Quiet location - located on a quiet road, its a residential neighbourhood
- Free bottle of red wine, some treats during check-in
- As a Platinum member, I was also given free minibar in the room! (But see below)
- Restaurant downstairs looked like it had a good menu, and well rated on TA. (make a booking on The Fork to get 30% discount!)

BAD
- Internet is super slow, can't even stream Youtube, don't rely on it for work. The wifi signal is stable, but slow.
- The free minibar was completely empty when I got to the room, and despite telling reception, was never refilled. Oh well. I was only there for 12 hours on business, so didn't kick up a fuss. During checkout I mentioned to the front desk and was immediately offered apologies (it should have been refilled) and offered a choice of drinks to take with me on my onward journey
- Breakfast is a very pricey EUR25 - I did not partake due to the price. However, apparently its a full breakfast with lots of hot options (unlike continental style in many other hotels in Paris).

*Value for $?*
If you can get it for around EUR100, I would consider it a great deal. Anything more than EUR150 and it would start to feel like not such a great rate.
Location is in a suburb of Paris, so it will take some time to get to the main tourist attractions, if that's your purpose of visiting.

The hotel is rather standard with the exception that the rooms contain special items to encourage and improve sleep, eg scented sprays. While I found the reception staff to be a little difficult re single beds versus double beds other staff were very efficient and friendly. The food was good by hotel standards and ok by general Paris standards.

Very nice hotel in a Non-Tourist area of France. 1 hour walk to the Eiffel Tower and or a quick 10 minute walk to the closest station. Would go to this hotel again.

Lovely stay with lovely staff. Staff were very attentive. Location is about a 30 minute walk for the Arc De Triomphe. We were lucky enough to be upgraded to a king suite which was a great surprise to a romantic weekend away. The breakfast provided quite a variety also. Would stay again

I had a stack of ihg points to spend and the far away from the tourists location of this hotel yet accessible to metro made it a great choice.

This hotel is far better then most American crown plaza properties and the actual facility deserves the 4 star rating. It is on the newer side, the hotel is very well kept, super clean, nice garden, beautiful bar lounge area and outdoor seatings, great restaurant, and super nice employees. That being said I had my share of misfortunes with this place which were not dramatic at all but rather annoying. During my 5 night stay here I placed the “do not disturb” sign outside my door , for a reason that is truly beyond me the room service knocked on my door and opened the door, on two different occasions At one time the maid insisted that she need to get in and make sure the sleepers are stacked..
like which part of DO NOT DISTURB didn’t you understand ? Why is the sign there? My only explanation is that the maid doesn’t know English or French and couldn’t tell what the sign mean. Either this or grand stupidity.
But that was not all, on Friday night before going to bed I asked the front desk to give me a wake up call on Sunday morning, I said it once in French “dimanche” and once in English. I received a wake up call on Saturday 5am instead Sunday 5am.
On at least 2 occasions I left the “please clean my room sign” before leaving for a few hours, when I came back the room was not made up. I had to specifically call the front desk and ask them to make up my room. On 2 occasions when my room was finally setup they didn’t not refill my tea bags and I had to call and ask for those specifically to be refilled.
Also I had cheese in my room that I l forgot outside, when I came back I noticed that it has been vanished.
The bar and the restaurant are both great but way over priced, an espresso is 5 euro and any meal was double what you will pay in any restaurant in the vicinity, most are much better too.
The room itself is great, very comfortable bed, everything was almost perfect, minus a few issues. I was initially given a room that had a very strong cigarette odor. I had to go back down stairs and was given another room. This room was good.
Large windows with view to the tower and very quite like I wanted. However the sink drain had a broken part, the door stopper was broken, and there was a shoe print on the ceiling ..
all which gave me the feeling that the 200 plus euros per night were not exactly spent on room maintenance.

It’s a very nice property with super nice staff but it’s I feel like my stay could have been much better without all those issues. I still don’t understand why would the maid walk on me twice when there is a large do not disturb sign outside my door.
It is an enigma I will never resolve.

On a different note the neighborhood is safe and upscale with excellent restaurants and supermarkets and everything you need.

I would give this hotel maximum 3 stars:
+ Convinient location;
+ Friendly and helpful staff;
- Small rooms. Not very clean;
- Loud air-conditioning in the room;
- very small breakfast room - waiting is required.
- very slow check in and check out.

Very nice Crowne Plaza even by the chains standard. Entrance Hall is impressive and tall. Staff is very attentive and quick to assist. Rooms are stylish and spacious. Practical installation like power outlet are the high Crowne Plaza standard. Location of the hotel is quiet for the city.

Excellent room services , good restaurant, they offer shuttle buses but to limited range (3km)the bus can reach Arc De Triomphe, from there use the metro or walk to the Champs-Élysées. The cost of UberX to the Arc is about 10 euros from the hotel.

Really good hotel. Rain shower, larger rooms, air conditioning. Bathrooms have large towels and washcloths. Bar with chilled champagne and an endless wine list. Few whiskies and only 5 beers, all bottled except for Heinekin. Restaurant is expensive. Two cheeseburgers w/fries, one beer, and a coke was $60 US.

Bedroom was clean and comfortable. Breakfast eggs and bacon were consistently undercooked to this American's preference; however, the wait staff cheerfully took it back to the kitchen to crisp the bacon and firm up the eggs. No AC in the hallways.

Rooms are a good size and beds are comfortable. They have face cloths in the bathroom which is rare in Europe. The shower is wonderful, a really big waterfall to stand under. Our room was a little on the hot side, air conditioning doesn't work well. Breakfast buffet was in one of the conference rooms and the hot items were cold and old.

We stayed 3 nights from May 31 to June 2.
The hospitable staff was kind to foreigners who can not speak English well. The security was good and the interior was clean.
The nearest subway line 3 to Anatole France is a short distance. We left the hotel in the evening to enjoy the Seine River cruise. The night ended on the way home, we got lost. Two young men from the front came to a place where they were at a loss. I said "Please tell me the way to the Crown Hotel." They showed a truly friendly smile "We are employees of the hotel!" And they taught me on my way home, despite being tired after finishing my work. Thank you very much. They presented the hotel's name tag, but I do not remember his name. I'm sorry. France has a dark image such as terrorism, but I was able to meet a really good person. This French trip was a great success.
If there is opportunity, it is hotel which we want to stay again.

Definitely not a 4 star hotel or experience. We stayed here when it was a Mövenpick. Our room was twice infested with bugs from a tree outside our window. We were forced to go out one night (at our own expense) so housekeeping could bug bomb the room. The 2nd time it happened, I had opened the window for just a few minutes & we were once again covered in bites & there were mosquito-like bugs all over our room. We called the front desk again & they offered to do the same bug bomb treatment. It was almost midnight at this time, we were tired & just wanted to go to bed. We asked for a different room & they tried to stick us in a much smaller room. What kind of hotel does that?! I complained that this was beyond unreasonable to expect my adult son & I to share such a small space with a full length window into the bathroom right beside the beds. So, they finally moved us up to a suite, which was quite a bit nicer & no bugs. Very poor service, would not recommend this place, nor would we stay here again. As a matter of fact, after a couple of more days, we moved to another hotel entirely (The Melia in La Defense). Horrible hospitality at this hotel. Hope it's better now that it's under the name of Crowne Plaza.

Great hotel! Were here for only one night. Early check-in was possible without a problem. The service overall was great, the room was nice. The hotel itself has both a Metro and a bus station reachable in a 5-minute-walk. Directly in front of the hotel is a taxi stand. We really enjoyed the food in the restaurant as well as the bar. Breakfast was okay.

Beautiful place - away from tourists when visiting. About 20€ cab to the sites. Note - most cabs don't know about this area so you have to be explicit.

Slightly boutiquey business hotel that's a bit outside real Paris. Clean, well furnished rooms. Breakfast was OK ish, the cooked option isn't very inspiring and the sausages looked and tasted odd. Room rates were shockingly high for what it is tbh...
