Beautiful place to stay! Amazing views! The staff were so engaging and polite. The room was clean and spacious for NYC. Wonderful Hotel that we plan to return to in the future.

The staff of this hotel was very accommodated and friendly. Their service was nice and organized. They treat their customer as their family, and every time the customer asked for help they responded immediately. This is the best among the best hoteliers! Highly recommended to everyone, especially here in our area!

Our stay here is so satisfying. The breakfast buffet was superb. The staff is very good especially the front desk, which is very presentable and accommodating. Good price for a big room. The place is clean and absolutely very accessible. This is a very wonderful and exemplary stay. I just love their smiles. Thank you!

One of the most popular hotel in the city and of course just in the middle of Times Square. Great place for Broadway show tickets. Don't forget to visit to Broadway minute centre. Maybe the best spot with good deas.

The view is amazing. Our waitress, Doreen was perfect. She explained the whole menu, got our drinks, checked on us through out our whole dining experience. She brought my daughter a birthday cake for dessert when she overheard us talking about her birthday celebration. Doreen is definitely an asset to the VIEW lounge. We will ask for her next time we are there. The buffet was at best like warm to warm. When I informed them that the food wasn't hot they brought out food that they heated before bringing it out

Amazing hotel. I wish I would have remembered the name of the 2 front desk women that helped us get checked in. They were Jamaican and extremely nice.

The rooms are amazingly spacious. The fact that every couch in the room had a pull out bed in them means you can definitely have at least 3 to 4 people per room. It was clean and the staff were all friendly.

I can easily recommend this hotel to anyone that wants a good experience in the city without all the noise. Oh and before I forget, the view was great from the 32nd floor.

1st, location is amazing, our room looked down on time square, gorgeous view. The room was spacious, clean, lovely with a great bathroom & TV. We loved the layout, the internal glass elevator was great fun. Thrilling & fast. The breakfast was gorgeous, great selection, the blintz was yum. And finally staff are so important & here the Marquis excelled, they were excellent, knowledgeable, helpful & just lovely. Will stay again & will recommend to others

Absolutely fabulous hotel in down town New York. Great architecture and superbly decorated. Lots of friendly helpful employees. We went there for dinner at The View but also had time to just look around and were wonderfully pleased with what we saw. Unfortunately we had booked rooms at the Downtown Marriott, which was also nice but the Marquis is much more upscale. I can't review rooms but can say that on our next trip to New York it will be here or the Algonquin ( both Marriott hotels ).

This is right in the heart of Time Square and I loved it.

I especially like when a hotel has a lounge.

I will say there were quite a few times where I needed a place to work and couldn’t find a quiet spot other than my hotel room.. which is fine if you’re by yourself, but not with coworkers. The lobby was noisy and the only areas we could find ended up being “closed” for private engagements.

Rooms were nice and the views were cool too. Right in the theater district, and plenty to do.

If you want to wake up in a city that never sleeps there is no better place than splendid New York Marriott Marquis. Grandiose, majestic, 2000 rooms, fabulous rotating restaurant ‘View’ to admire mesmerizing Big 🍎scenery and romantic sunset while enjoying lush cocktail. Located 1 minuet from Times Square close to many attractions, numerous shops, restaurants and theatre district. Room was big, bed comfy, superb view, meticulous room service. Fast check in and check out, polite, courteous staff provided exceptional service. Place fit for King where everyone gets Royal treatment. Luxury at its bests. Star spreading the news... You leaving today...l wanna be part of it... New York, New York...

I've stayed at this hotel a couple times now and it's always been a very pleasant experience. It's a very large hotel, but the staff is very friendly, accommodating and is always around. The hotel is in the heart of Times Square so there is no shortage of things to do and places to eat, but there's a lot do do inside the hotel as well. The rooms are big and always clean. Its a pleasure to stay here.

Amazing view of Times Square and the city! The windows are soundproof so you don't hear any of the noise from outside. The staff was very nice and helpful.

Another outstanding hotel from the Marriott Chain located directly in Times Square. It hosts a lounge that overlooks the Square and also the "View" restaurant and lounge. The View rotates at the top of the hotel and provides picturesque views of the NYC skyline. I recommend arriving a half hour before sunset because the transition to the nighttime skyline is gorgeous. This hotel is trendy and modern with a layout like a mall. Location is key with this hotel.

Great location central to many things. Very cool views of Times Square. The rooms are quite large and have a very good sized bathroom. I stayed for a conference and got a reduced rate, but it was still quite expensive. You can definitely find cheaper rates for similar attributes.

The Marriott Marquis is a great place to stay in the middle of Times Square. It is one of the biggest hotels I have ever stayed at and it has everything from restaurants, convenient stores, Broadway Plays box office, travel agency and more. It's very clean, spacious with views overlooking Times Square. I attached a couple pictures from right outside the hotel where the play Hamilton is still selling out and the family we visited New York with went to see Hamilton. I also included pictures that includes the views from our window. One of the locations is The NFL Experience and another is Frozen, a play that we will be attending later this summer.

We came here for the rotating restaurant with a view, which requires that you have a cocktail. When we took a look at the buffet, which cost $40, we decided we actually would eat because the quality and variety of food at the buffet was excellent: nice hard cheeses, 15+ gourmet salads, and I don't remember how many hot dishes. And remember, $40 for a good meal in NYC is actually not bad. Service: top of the line, friendly, classy, excellent. To top it all, the view is amazing. We even got lucky and saw fireworks. I'm going back the next time I'm in NYC.

What a nice place. You get a view from the clear elevators it was pretty cool and they were fast too. Our room was very nice the bathroom was quite spacious. Lets not forget its right in the center of everything so the view was awesome. Love that its walking distance to literally everything.

So here was our situation - family of five driving up the East Coast (Philly to Boston) visiting colleges and the kids had never been to NYC. I wanted them to have the full blown Times Square experience, so I ponied up for the Marriott Marquis. Totally worth it. This is one of the biggest Times Square hotels with a great location in the middle of everything. Convenient to Broadway shows, walkable to Central Park and other sites and easy to use the subway to navigate to places farther out. It wasn't cheap but it was fun just to see the kids faces when the set foot in Times Square and to let them have the experience of staying in a nice NYC hotel in the heart of it all. This was two years ago in June of 2016 and they still talk about it as one of their favorite trips. If you are sightseeing in NYC, I say spend the money for a good hotel like this, especially if you are just there for a couple of days. Cut costs elsewhere. (We stayed in cheaper hotels in Philly and Boston, for example.)

Wow, what a fantastic time we had staying at the Marriott Marquis! So many wonderful people working here: Sue at the front desk who helped us upgrade to an amazing room (view of the Times Square NYE ball and - I swear - The Statue of Liberty.) The bellmen and door staff were so kind and accommodating, getting us ponchos for a rainy day. Derrick and Charlie in the concierge lounge were wonderful. And Patricia sent some much-appreciated treats to our room.
The beds were comfy, the rooms were perfect, and we are very grateful to be Marriott Platinum Elite members.

It’s a superb location and within walking distance from many a thing. Unlike many hotels in NYC, the staff is really friendly and try everything to make you feel at home.
The staff again is multilingual and I remember a customer being helped in Chinese by a water who was very helpful.
It’s above the average in terms of price but still worth it. It’s comfortable and beyond any expectations.

Excellent go to spot for meeting up with people, or just enjoying after dinner drinks. They 8th floor lobby is our go to meeting point when in midtown. Love taking friends to the revolving restaurant to have cheese and wine and enjoy incredible sunsets! Must do when in the area at night. Do it especially if you are a local, fun treat!

Nice hotel, very centrally located. They also host many events in their event rooms. Good catering every time I’ve been there for events. Last weekend we had visitors staying there so went for breakfast. The eggs were cooked well and they kept filling our coffee, juices and water which was nice.

Our favorite NYC hotel & they have new (for that hotel alone) vacation club! It's a 3 night stay & instead of normal rate, it's total of $399!!! So reasonably priced! What a surprise!
If elite status, because lounge is closed weekends, we were offered room with a view- fabulous+ & makeup in other ways for it being closed.
Elevator system is awesome! Enter floor desired upon entering elevator area, it tells you quickly what lettered elevator to enter & it takes you quickly to that floor without entry of any further info. I have never mentioned elevator system in my life but it's exceptional & otherwise, it's a wonderful hotel & every inch I saw had attention to detail- I enjoy their detailed approach.
This hotel has it all- location's superb!

So far our experience here has been very good. We have encountered many different staff members of different jobs, and they have all been above and beyond courteous and kind. We did have to wait a long time for our room. We checked in at 10 and the room wasn't ready till after 5. Also not all the rooms have mini fridges which was very surprising. Honestly any of the things are just inconveniences and don't reflect badly on the personnel. It is clean and quiet. Would definitely stay here again.

Fantastic hotel with great views!! Smack dab on Time's Square!! The View restaurant, on the 48th floor of the Marriott Marquis hotel features the only revolving restaurant in NYC !! Phenomenal dining experience, featuring breath taking views of this vibrant city! The View bar and lounge is not too be missed for a nice night cap, or a leisurely cocktail. Featuring great city skyscraper views!!

Very nice hotel. Staff very friendly and knowledgeable of the area. They offered great suggestions for things to do and places to eat. Rooms were extremely clean. Wonderful view of the city and room was a nice size space. The only reason why I did not do 5 stars is the hotel overall is a bit dated. Other than the location of the hotel, there was no wow factor about the actual hotel and room.

Hardware of the hotel is all right. Location Is excellent. But there is room to improve service. I requested a fridge for my room when making reservation, but when I checked in, staff did not say anything about it, I asked about that request and was told they are out of fridge. Staff did not show any care of not being able to fulfill that request or apologize/offer any alternative solution. Then I called Service and I was told I would definitely get a fridge next day when people check out. I called next day for it and was told I will get it within 30 minutes, but it never arrived. Talked to house cleaning lady about it, she said she will follow up with it. After 2 hours still nothing. I called Service again and was told they did not know why I did not receive it but they will check on it. Not sure why it takes multiple contacts with hotel staff on one issue. There was no circling back in communication. If you are out of fridge, please call to let me know instead of just letting me wait and wait. Have a follow-up system internally to ensure the task is executed, if there is difficult to complete the task, communicate with your guest promptly. Show that you care. That would be my recommendation to improve the service of the hotel.

We have stayed here on several occasions. Whether you are in New York for business or for pleasure this hotel is located in the center of it all. If you are in NYC to see a Broadway production then this is a great hotel to be in for the duration of your visit. Accommodations are nice and clean, and each time our customer service has been good. Several airline vacation travel services (ex. United) have some great travel packages that always have the Marriott Marquis as their hotel of choice when staying in NYC.

Growing up, I had the pleasure of staying here twice: once tagging along on a business trip with my dad and a few years later with my mom. The view is amazing. The breakfast buffet is great. Centrally located. Doesn't disappoint in any way!

Very nice place, clean room and large, with a view of times square. Your right in the heart of New York City where all the action is. You can walk three blocks in any direction for a restaurant bar Pub or even to see a show. Can be a bit pricey for a room During certain times of the year but well worth it if you want to be in the center of where it's all happening. Service was excellent everyone was very helpful the upstairs rotating bar restaurant is really nice get the cheese platter that's worth it.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

We visited the View restaurant via the Marriott Marquis. This was a fantastic, unique experience, and one of the highlights of my trip to New York. Not only was the rotating restaurant unforgettable, but the food was exquisite (huge, unpretentious portions in quite the pretentious setting!) and the service was simply out of this world. I have never visited a restaurant where simply turning my head would result in a waiter immediately offering his assistance (I was only looking for the restroom!). From start to finish, the evening was wonderful. Most recommended.

there's a nice lounge on 8th floor overlooking times square. if you're lucky you can get a table along the window and be in view of bright lights of times square.

The food was good. we had the Peruvian wings and short rib flat bread. both delicious. their drinks are pricey but that's expected in NYC.

perfect place to go to have quiet conversation and relax after a walk in times square

I normally stay at the Marriott Marquis once a year, and it has been 7 years straight. The hotel is very noisy due to construction and because it is so close to Times square. So my advice, if you plan on staying here, you may want to consider booking a room on one of the higher floors - 19th floor onward is good. By the way, they no longer stock shampoos and conditioner in the room, you may want to grab those prior to leaving your shopping area. Overall, if you have a small workshop going on, it is very convenient to have it there. It is a bit expensive compared to other hotels around mid-town but do ask for a corporate discount rate, you may get lucky.

Pricey but luxurious stay in the heart of the Theatre District. Accessible to all the shows and the nightlife of Broadway. Don't like the additional "resort fee" . Found it ridiculous. The food service to the room was delicious and fairly priced. The staff was friendly and helpful. The linens and bed and pillows were so comfy that I had the best nights sleep of the month. Definitely worth the stay.

I had the pleasure of attending the official Grammys after party which was held at this amazing location. I'm guessing the event had about 3,000-5,000 people in attendance, and there was plenty of space for everyone. There were several floors filled with bars and food stations and the lay out of the venue made it convenient and easy to find. The main stage and dance floor made for an excellent concert, and the floor about that provided an amazing view from above. The was a more intimate "jazz club" on a lower floor that was beautiful and cozy. It was an amazing event in an even more amazing space.

It's a bustling full service hotel, but you can't beat the view and accessibility. We paid a little extra for a room facing Times Square and it was worth every penny! We could even see the Statue of Liberty from our room! Can't beat the price for safely parking your vehicle either. We were able to get parked prior to check in and store our bags, leaving us free to see 2 nearby Broadway shows and spend 2 days getting around midtown, theatre district, hells kitchen, etc. on foot. This hotel is perfectly located if you plan to do the same (particularly during the holiday season). Room was clean and staff was friendly, just as you'd expect at a Marriott property. The View is their top floor revolving restaurant and we plan to come back and try it next time.

An okay Marriott that pioneered the resurrection of Times Square in the 90's, this hotel has a lobby on the eighth floor designed to reflect the embattled nature of Times Square at the time to keep the lobby off the street pioneering the ground floor for retail. Above its porte cohere is the new, and ugly, Marquis Theater, a conciliation for the loss of two glorious, historic theaters on the site. The ballrooms and conference space are large but ugly and dated. The atrium and interiors with the glass tube elevators add to the impersonal feel of the hotel which is vast. Atop the hotel is a revolving restaurant with great views and outrageous prices and a menu which is pulled from New York favourites pulled from better restaurants below. This is a hotel for conferences and tourists only. There are far better and cheaper hotels in the City. The Marriott East Side in the old Lexington Hotel is far superior and gracious. The staff here are truly some of the best in the City but you are only a number here. Nothing more. Go elsewhere unless you desire crowds, bad architecture, and a vast impersonal space devoid of the City's vibrancy.

I stayed with my aunt and a friend for one night at the end of September. The location is VERY convenient - like, RIGHT in the middle of it all - the concierge staff was incredibly friendly (outstanding, even), and the hotel itself was architecturally beautiful.

All that being said, our room on its own was not horribly impressive! It was relatively small; the "pull out couch" was a twin-size pull out loveseat - which was more comfortable than the two full /queen sized beds (they were hard as rocks), and I couldn't actually tell whether the linens for the sofa bed were used or not - they didn't strike me as "clean", but they weren't obviously dirty. For the price and hype, though, you expect to crawl into clean, soft, comfortable sheets and to have a comforter available as opposed to just the extra sheet and a knit throw. The night we stayed TV service wasn't working; we turned ours on and couldn't figure it out, but I'd remembered hearing the woman at concierge telling several guests that the TVs weren't working and that they were trying to fix it when we checked in. We only stayed for a night, so it's not like we needed it, but after getting home from a concert in Brooklyn we thought it'd be nice to watch some late-night. There also seemed to be water sitting in the tub when we first arrived - I didn't use it, and elected to shower at the hotel we stayed at on our way home the next night. We were in a rush to leave when we first checked in so I didn't have time to address it with the staff, and my aunt showered and my friend took a bath during our stay and didn't complain about the draining being a problem.

Bottom-line: when you're a tourist in NYC and you get back to your hotel, you just want to relax. While you wouldn't think the finer conditions of that R&R should matter much after walking around the city all day and riding public transportation half the night, it did for me, and it wasn't much of a "kick back and relax" experience.

Met some family members who were staying here for brunch in The View restaurant on the 48th floor. And you definitely get a view. The restaurant completes a rotation every hour. The food was fine and the staff very friendly and attentive, but it was definitely about the experience. The rest of the hotel is impressive as well. The room was decorated nicely, comfortable and had an incredible view of Times Square and the Ball.. It would be the perfect room for New Year's Eve. It was small, but not as small as I've seen at other NYC hotels.

Awesome Location and architecture. But that's it. No free wifi included (mind you, my room was $425. Got downgraded (booked a two queen room, got a one king room next to the ice machine). They charged my private credit card with a commodities fee of $25 per day (room was prepaid through company credit card) even though I never used any of them (if one has to pay it in any case, why wasn't it included in the rooms price upon booking?). Won't be booking this hotel anymore if I can avoid it (conferences may force me to come again though).

The Marriott Marquis is a great place to soak in NY lifestyle. Right on top of time square you get to have great food and awesome views. It's conveniently placed minutes away from all Broadway shows and all of time square amenities. The view restaurant offers a cool experience with their rotating restaurant. The staff are very nice and knowledgeable of the area, you won't hear "No I don't know" from anyone. All in all, great time.

Great hotel if you like to stay Central to all the theaters and Times Square. As a business Traveler I find the location a little hectic but convenient for my customers. Rooms are standard compared to other Marriott locations. The Concierge Lounge can get hectic at times. This is because the host ignore the two guest rule.

This hotel is in a super location, right on Times Square. The hotel is very neat, clean, and comfortable. The room is very spacious, as is the bathroom. The glass elevators are very fast. The area around the hotel feels very safe. If we come for another visit, we will stay here again.

Descent hotel, and good location (if you want to be close to the chaos that is Times Square), but the elevators can be a nightmare. The new system is supposed to cut wait times, but there were complaints of people waiting over 20 minutes for an elevator to arrive. I realize a hotel with 2'000+'ish rooms means a lot of bodies to move, but still seems like there might be a better system.
Also, not sure the Concierge Lounge is worth it. We always get access due to our Marriott status, but I found the evening appetizers and dessert service to be ridiculously small considering the amount of people they were catering to. Seriously, I've seen more offers at the Courtyard....

I always love being able to hang out in the very nice lounge of the Marquis while before or after seeing a Broadway show. Clean, comfortable, and with access to an ATM, convenience/souvenir shop, restrooms, and restaurant. My only complaint this trip was that almost all of the courteously available wall outlets on the lobby level were loose/broken.

I'm a little confused with the great reviews I've read on there considering my experience here last week... First off, I will say the location is obviously great and they have a Starbucks inside which is also great. When we arrived, the staff was friendly and welcoming. But then we walked into our room and it smelled like mildew- so gross. There was hair all in the sink and the bathtub like it hadn't been cleaned. The mattress was as hard as a rock. Looking back I could have probably slept on the floor and it would have been more comfortable. The pillows were the same except feathers were poking out at you. Not pleased and won't stay here again.

The location is great, in the middle of times Square and walking distance from the different Broadway shows. The rooms are quiet, clean and organized, they have a lot of elevators to provide a better service. They have a safe in the room. The bathrooms are really clean and spacious. The food at the restaurant was really good and room service with excellent quality. It was an overall nice atmosphere.

The rooms were clean, and fairly spacious. Beautiful views of times square, huge hotel, courteous staff. I loved the concierge lounge with the free breakfast, and drinks. I wish it was open on the weekends. Other than that, great hotel!

Good size room for New York. Right in times square which is nice. Gym was really great fully equipped with weights and everything you need for a good workout. The view from the gym looks over times square. Concierge lounge was unfortunately closed Friday and Saturday, but opens back up Sunday night. Overall great experience would stay again.

Perfect location in Times Square to be in the middle of everything. The hotel is beautiful and the staff are polite, helpful & overall, just have great dispositions. The way the hotel is set up is quite unique, with the elevator banks in the center and the rooms along the outer part of the hotel. The view from my room on the 37th floor would be great to stay in on New Year's Eve. The only negative (and that is because of my fear) are that the elevators are clear-I can't say glass, because I really don't know. I mean, if you like that sort of thing, then you may love it even more. It most surely looks beautiful from the outside! Here are a few pictures taken from my room window.

I had a very good time at this location celebrating my Anniversary. All of the holtel staff was very friendly and helpful. This hotel was in the perfect location, in the heart of all the main attractions. I had a beautiful view from my hotel room of the city from both sides of my window. These photos are the view from my window in my room!! Highly recommended!!!!

The hotel is old with old standards. It is also very crowded and noisy. The elevators are located in one of the sides and the rooms are surrounding the main hall which means if your room is at the opposite side of the elevators then you will walk a long distance each time. The location of the hotel is conveniently close enough from everywhere with many subway stations surrounding it. It is also clean with good housekeeping.

However, I had the opportunity to stay twice in the other Marriott Marquis in Miami and it was of a completely very elegant and luxurious standards which I missed in the one in Times Square.

The NY Marriott Marquis is a beautiful hotel with great views of Times Square and the Hudson River and a superb location right in the heart of the Theater District. We have stayed here more than once and have enjoyed delightful rooms and a gorgeous suite! As Marriott Elite members, we also enjoy the ambience of the Concierge Lounge for an after-dinner drink or snack. The staff is personable and professional, and this is our first choice for a hotel in New York with the perfect location for shows, dining, and sightseeing!

Stayed here for fourth of July week and boy was I blown away with hoe this hotel is. The front desk is so well staff on hand for the rush of people. Was in and out in a few minutes, the rooms look clean with fresh sheets and towels. Always tip the room service lady/man for awesome job on always providing with clean sheets/ towels every day.

I had dinner at The View on a Sunday evening after seeing a show. The wait staff was friendly and helpful, and very good at knowing when to check on us and when to enjoy our dinner. However, while the view from The View is good and you can see the full 360 from your dinner table, the fact that it's housed within another part of the building makes both enjoying the view and taking pictures difficult. The food was good (and large portions), but is priced at a premium for the scenery rather than for the quality of the meal itself. Were I to go again, I'd go for drinks and desert and get my main course elsewhere.

Nice big rooms right in the heart of time square. Many dining options which were all excellent. The hotel is a little dated but it is still nice and comfortable. It has the best blackout shades I've ever seen. Highly recommend this place.

The location is great. It's puts you right in the thick of things. We stayed on the 43rd floor which gave us a great view. The elevator does make your ears pop. It also reminds you of an amusement ride due to the pace in which it moves. The rooms we had were nice and the staff was on their jobs. We ended up staying an extra night which was great.

The service was phenomenal and the amenities and rooms were pristine. The staff was very knowledgeable about the surrounding areas and the location cannot be beat for Times Square activities. Broadway shows are all within a five minute walk (except Wicked, maybe) and all relevant touring points are available. Highly recommend this!

Great viewpoint over time square for New year's eve! We ended up paying extra for a Times Square facing room just to watch the ball drop, And all though it was a lot at the time, It felt like it was worth it for the most magical moment in all New Years eve history! The hotel itself was average, but had a full sized gym and a Starbucks in the lobby which was handy. Meals in the restaurants were average and over priced, but plenty of other options close by. Comfortable beds, rooms were slightly on the small size but think that's common in New York

Pricey hotel, but Excellent location about a 1 minute walk to time square. Difficult to get to especially in the nighttime hours when many streets leading to time square are jam packed or completely blocked off by police. Parking rate at hotel is insane at $90 a night. Hotel buffet breakfast is $34. Which consists of an omelet station and about 15 other hot choices, consisting of egg or potato or waffle/pancake choices. Along with bread and cereal choices. Nothing special here. Also this hotel's restaurants seem to close early considering your out into time square and beyond well into the morning hours on a weekend. Rooms were very worn, one of our rooms had the carpet wrinkling up and creating a trip hazard as we walked in front of the t.v. I would stay here again only If it was my cheapest option including the parking rate as well.

There was some really weird residual from the water. I was pretty concerned. Other than that, the room was pretty nice... But I would really be careful with the water. The drain pipes were backed up in my room so there was that. I would really make sure that your bathroom works properly.

I'm a platinum member and got an early check in and a room on the 39th floor. Room was as expected from a Marriott. Nicely furnished and clean. Service was also excellent. Room was large and clean. Beds were great! We did appreciate the view from our room and the location. However, we were a little disappointed in the "extras" that should have been included: only one glass, no liner w/ the ice bucket, no fridge, no complimentary bottled water, very small shampoos/lotion in the bathroom, skimpy bath soap, no mat for the bottom of the tub, no actual creamer (powder) for in-room coffee. We stayed at a Marriott in Washington DC while on our trip from the West coast, and our hotel there did an amazing job with those special little extras!

I attend an all day event on the 6th floor. Lunch was Mexican centric and was pretty good. It was served warm and had good flavor. This is usually hard for an event over 200 people being served buffet style. Breakfast had variety for everyone, parties and breakfast wraps and yogurt. The rooms we on the colder dude but that is typical. Audio was good and could be heard clearly.

The Marriott Marquis is right where all of the action is at Times Square. The room we had overlooked TS and honestly it was quieter than expected. They provide blackout shades as well to block all but a faint glow from around the very bottom. It also helps with sound to some degree. If you are looking for a hotel right at TS look no further. Budget shoppers may want to look else where given the price per night here. One stat deducted for cost. Other than that, house keeping was great, clean rooms, close to shows and other sights. Just a few blocks a couple of subway stops.

We stayed 3 nights in early April, Fri - Mon. - the hotel was hopping, but the front desk staff was wonderful. This is a HUGE hotel but our room was quiet and we really enjoyed our stay. The room is VERY big by NYC standards - 2 full beds and a single Sofabed. The bedding was wonderful. I saw complaints about the elevators - but we had no problem at all. Truly - we loved staying at the Marriott Marquis and have no complaints at all!

Good location for times square. Good beds and linens. Shower was old and caulking moldy. Iron didn't work for streaming my suits wrinkles. Walls did not stop noise from both sides. Even conversations. Windows didn't stop noise at night. HVAC was good. No refrigerator. Would be a 3 Star except the price was way too high for the dated furniture/bathroom/very low seated height toilet.

Nice hotel. Good sized bathroom for a New York hotel. Nice views of the city from our room. Great location near Time Square and theaters. The one thing keeping me from giving this five stars are the elevators. It seemed like we had to wait a long time every time we needed to use the elevators.

What a view! While you're here, I recommend checking out the rotating restaurant on the 48th or so floor. Lounge is incredible and there's plenty of space. This is a beautiful hotel - although lacking in some basic amenities. The biggest drawcard is the location - which cannot be beaten. I spent hours walking around outside. The rooms are very spacious, though in need of renovation. The fact it took me a couple of minutes to figure out how to get hot water in the shower shows they need to spend a little time in design thinking. However, while I be pointing out the negative, I did in-fact have a great stay.

I have attended trade shows every year for several years. I have never stayed overnight, but I have seen the rooms. The views are nice and the rooms are clean. Inside, the elevators and view at the center of the building are spectacular. I've also had breakfast, lunch, dinner, and drinks. All good. Breakfast buffet was very pricey, in my opinion. And the entrance is not intuitive. They could use better signs and more help on ground floor.

Beautiful hotel. I was there for a play, "Get on Your Feet". Seats were too small for a bodybuilder of my size but it seemed like everyone had issues with the seats. Staff was extremely helpful. I attended a two-day conference here and was very happy with the experience. The staff was incredibly nice and helpful, to a man, and the program went off without a hitch. This hotel just lost a star. I no longer feel safe for myself or my valuables here. Up till a few minutes ago this had been a pretty good stay. But when housekeeping just barges in at noon, regardless of whether lights are on, the television running OR the SIGN on the door saying "PLEASE DON'T BOTHER ME!", that gives me reason to worry. The door opens, I hear a voice, "Housekeeping" and I ask, "Is there a sign on the door?" Thinking that maybe it fell off. But she says "yes". So in my mind I'm shouting "Then whyintheHELL are YOU BOTHERING ME??!!!", but instead I simply reply, "Then I don't need any service today."
What I don't want to run into is a situation where everyday I or my spouse is losing a bracelet, a belt, or something more valuable to theft and pilfering.
Thankfully, the hotel has a VERY large room safe in the closet and I will be using it, profusely, for the rest of my stay.
The rest of my experience so far has been pretty positive, I'll edit/add to this after my stay is complete.

Great place to stay. Everyone is friendly and the rooms are beautiful, clean and have great amenities. I was there for a conference and the whole event was awesome, the staff was helpful, food was great!

The reason I took the time to write this though is because of the fact that Freddie, in the lost and found, was able to locate the phone charger I left in my room and is sending it back to me! No muss no fuss. Great customer service. Every hotel needs someone like Freddie.

I had the chance to come to the MM for the first time in a very long time for a conference. It's aged very well. From the dramatic interior to its great view of Times Square, it's quite an amazing structure. The conference lunch was surprisingly good. I noticed a sign for a buffet for $22 which I may have to come back to investigate. I didn't stay in a room but for a conference in the middle of the greatest city on earth, pretty good.

This Hotel is by no means perfect, but it came dam close. Our visit there was highlighted by a gentlemen at the front desk named Justin. Justin's attitude and personality were a welcome sight as we had our very first experience in the hotel. Aware porters downstairs at street level would have been nice, but the atmosphere and help given to my wife and I at check in was awesome. Justin assisted us in obtaining what we believe was a room with the best view of Times Square ever. Room 1837. The Marriott Marquis location and proximity to the center of Time Square was almost as good as the view my wife and I enjoyed with family from the rotating Lounge on the 48th floor. My wife and I can't wait to return, and return we will. We hope that when we do we will be greeted and helped by more employees like Justin.

Convenient location, pristine establishment, and not a bad hotel restaurant either!so staying at Hotel 1000 for a few nights was definitely a treat. Another great thing about this hotel: it's located just a few minutes walk from Place , the waterfront and the shopping district. An to anywhere we wanted to go in the city was usually around $10 or less. Our room quite possibly felt like a more comfortable version of our own home. The bed was huge, the linens soft and fluffy. The bathroom was clean and had lots of extra toiletries and yes, the bathtub does fill from the ceiling. So cool
