Property's Green Action

To protect the environment, we are reducing water use, energy consumption and recycling waste with the goal of limiting our carbon footprint. We integrate sustainable development into our operating procedures, contribute to preserve local communities and the natural ecosystems in which our hotel is located. With all sister hotels, we have already planted three million trees as part of a global reforestation project supported by the United Nations. The last but not the least, we engage our partners and suppliers in their sustainable development strategy and integrate them into the responsibility chain.

Certifications

Planet 21 Bronze

AccorHotels created an action plan that offered actions listed below to promote sustainable development, tailored to the hotel context. Those initiatives are structured into 4 pillars & 2 specific issues:

- PEOPLE: Raise employees’ awareness of the eco-friendly practice
- CUSTOMERS: engage guests in a sustainable experience
- COMMUNITIES: work hand-in-hand with local communities for a positive impact
- PARTNERS: co-innovate to open up new horizons

- BUILDING: Move towards carbon-neutral buildings
- FOOD: Strive for zero food waste & healthy sustainable food

Then, to go even further, each hotel selects other actions from over 60 additional initiatives. This flexible system enables it to build its own program in line with AccorHotels’ commitments, but also reflects the hotel’s local characteristics:
- Its prior level of progress on sustainable development
- Its priority areas for improvement
- The environment and local issues

A weighting mechanism establishes the action achievement level with a score that places the hotel around the higher levels. Each level marks the progress hotels are making in implementing the Planet 21 program.

Located just steps away from dozens of restaurants, boulangeries and stores. The hotel is not next to any major sights but it is conveniently right next to a metro and about a dozen busses so you can get anywhere in 15 minutes. The rooms are tiny as is expected for a Parisian hotel. Decor is fairly outdated and the room was rather drab but everything worked and you are not coming to Paris to sit in a room anyways. The staff was friendly and helpful and most importantly spoke passable English. If I had a bigger budget I would stay closer to the center, but this worked well overall.

If anybody is trying to find good deals on hotels visit HoteIBully. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

I stayed here with my study abroad group, and it was perfect. For one thing, it’s air conditioned, unlike most of France! They are very family oriented — while they do have a nice restaurant downstairs, every morning they also have a family breakfast that includes entertainment. My entire group of college students was very excited to receive balloon flowers and bracelets. The breakfast is very good — it includes protein, not just cheap carbs, although they do have high quality pastries, of course! It is France, after all. They also had a heated pool, although I didn’t go in, considering how hot I already was. All in all, this was a solid choice, and a nice break from the sweltering heat of our other accommodations.

We’ve just returned from three nights at this hotel. We were fortunate enough to get a free upgrade to the executive room which included a large balcony and free mini bar. Location is great, just a short hop to the Metro in the train station. Great to have access to a swimming pool but it was rather busy with children when our family used it. The large open space to the front of the hotel can have a number of people hanging around with skateboards and roller blades but there wasn’t any problem caused by this. Very pleasant hotel staff. The hotel is just a short walk from gaining a glimpse of Notre Damm and the Effiel Tower.

Good breakfast great variety. Entertainment for kids at breakfast. Nice swimming pool. Near train station and bus stops. Lots of cafe's and restaurants nearby. And walking distance to river seine .Drinks a bit pricey.

Amazing place. It's confusing though because there are 3 Novotels in that area. This one is right outside the paris main station. The bathroom has no lock on it which is the only bad thing. They've got an Xbox 360 with fortnite and roblox in it. There is a Xbox 360 live also and a play table. There is a web corner where you can use 2 iMacs for 20 mins at different times. The indoor swimming pool is small.

There was no air conditioning and the window only opened slightly. The location is ok, convenient for travel as it is close to the Gare de Lyon train station, but the neighborhood a bit run down.

Update: To be more precise, we did not have air conditioning because it had not yet been turned on for the season, despite the warm temperatures. However if you are visiting during the summer months, this is unlikely to be an issue for you as they will have turned their ac system on by then. I will avoid during the spring and fall.

The hotel did provide us with a room fan but the noise from the construction across the street was loud with the window open.

Modern hotel with great location literally next to Gare de Lyon station. Check in was a bit crazy on our particular day, but they found a room that was ready after a short wait. The pool is nice, but not the most kid-friendly as it is >5ft deep for the majority of the pool

The hotel is a good choice if you need something close to Gare de Lyon. As it is not located on a large street it is rather quiet. The rooms are renovated so this is better than the typical old European Novotel. I have to say mine was really large and well appointed, I also loved the rain shower.
Service is good at the reception, with competent and nice staff. The housekeeping is also well done. The breakfast however felt disorganised and chaotic, also I noticed the poor quality of some items (scrambled eggs were runny, ham not good quality).
For member of Le Club AccorHotels, the recognition was so-so. Half of the benefits were delivered (although the one who were are the one that mattered to me).
The swimming pool is poor. First the changing cabin (singular) is cramped, and the swimming pool awkward location by the reception does not induce to have a relaxing moment there.

Located right next to a train station, very easy to find. Popular tourist sites are also quite accessible from there. Service was great, easy check in and check out. Free wifi was pretty fast and reliable. The room was a bit tight, like most things in Paris, but workable. Furniture was nice and seemed new. Loved the bathroom. Even got to use the 24 hour indoor swimming pool. Wide variety of options for breakfast in the hotel. Several restaurants within walking distance.

We stayed at this hotel overnight to make sure we were right next to the station and train, RER A, which would take us to Disneyland Paris in the morning. Finding the correct side to exit the station was difficult, make sure you exit 'sortie 2' to get to the hotel straight from the station. Check-in was easy and the room was lovely, and with english breakfast tea stocked and a bottle water in the fridge. The best thing about the room was the bed - lovely and firm mattress. The two let downs for me were the swimming pool, which jetted in cold bursts of water near the stairs, and the continental breakfast costing 18 euros (I do understand this may be standard for Paris).

Convenient location for jumping on the metro to travel around town, and with a swimming pool so ideal for visiting with the kids this is a basic but good value option. There are a few decent restaurants in the area and it's easy to reach from other mainline stations too.

This hotel is well placed for the Gare de Lyon. Nice rooms, if you pay extra for executive rooms you get a Nespresso machine and a fridge with some drink cans included. The shower is a bit strange with a big glass wall to the bedroom and a switch to fog it out.
Good choice at breakfast but can be quite busy later so get there early.

Despite continuously deteriorating price/quality ratio, the place is still OK to stay if you come for work.
Rooms are not spacious but not too small, the staff is not brilliant but rather friendly (this year almost everyone spoke English on acceptable level).
They don't provide coffee-machine or free minibar like they did 3-5 years ago for the same room price but the hotel is still very clean, everything in the room works like it should and finally they made friendly wi-fi access (previously it was rather inconvenient logging in).
Besides the hotel is "attached" to train station and it's easy to get to/from airport, city center and sightseeing places are 10-20m far by metro.
All in all - good place to stay.
