The best hotel in the city! During holidays, even birthdays, we spend our time here. We always love their hospitality and accommodation. The kids love the dessert buffet in their restaurant. It was so homey and relaxing to stay in this hotel. They also have the best and comfortable king-size bed and mattresses. We always have a good sleep here. Thanks!

Awesome! Been here for so many times, and I always love to go back. The Hotel is at a good location, and the staff was very accommodating and friendly. Even the entire place of the hotel was very good to visit and chill. Honestly, I truly enjoyed it when I' around here. Thank you always for the good smile, and Keep it Up!

We travel a lot and I have to say there are a lot of hotels that are nicer for what you will pay here. Their food leaves much to be desired and the staff is not nearly as nice as other places we have stayed. The bathroom needed some maintenance for sure, the tub water control was broken and the shower door needs some attention.

this is a THANK YOU NOTE for all the receptionists whom provided a truly heplful assistance and warm hospitality while we waited for the roadside tow car during this afternoon from 3pm to 7pm. We are not even the hotel guests, we were able to use hotel phone to call the assistance and they even offer us bottled water. THANK YOU SO MUCH and we will never forget you. Best, Peter

Stayed 1 night during a short trip to LA. Beautiful property. Large rooms. Lovely pool though can get crowded in the mornings. No hot tub though. Wine happy hour is 5 to 6pm which is a fun event. Great location, close to Westwood where there are many shops and restaurants. Only issue was that we were charged a resort fee at the very end that we were not told about until check out. Other than that, good stay

Make sure to input the street number and not just the street name for directions. Too many people end up at the other Kimpton Hotel on the same street, but a dozen minutes away. This looks like a hotel that used to have cutting edge pazzaz and fashion, but now a bit dusty and tamped down. Add more design to this place by dressing up. The lounge areas are resort cool with many vignettes and ways to hide in dark corners or relax on low couches, or in the bright lobby area. Happy hour wine and sparse appetizers is a brief luxury. Rooms and amenities are nice. Pool is small and pretentious. Parking is expensive and breakfast comes at a cost.

The stay here was amazing! When we first showed up our vehicle was too large to fit into the parking garage when using the valet, instead of having us park ourselves off site they went out of their way to accommodate us. The staff was extremely friendly and very knowledgeable about the area and were able to help is find a restaurant that was close by, kid friendly, and food allergy compliant. I highly recommend staying here to anyone!

Great place to stay close to everything and great facilities for either business or pleasure. Beautiful rooms with great sound proofing didn't hear anything or anyone else the entire stay. Double Take restaurant next to the lobby is the perfect spot for an amazing meal or to relax and unwind with a few drinks. But what really makes this property is the staff. They are kind caring attentive and professional. They know how to take care of their guests and really exceed expectations, especially Cameron and Natasha. These two are some of the best desk agents I've met I can not say enough about them and the value they add to the hotel. Overall a beautiful experience and I can't wait to return.

Really great hotel! Staff are friendly and helpful. The room is awesome and well kept! I don't like how you get charged for incidentals like parking ($44/night!) And in room wifi, even though it costs so much per night. however, seems like a trend with a lot of high end hotels.

Hotel is in a great location, facilities and room were in immaculate condition. The staff were friendly and very helpful. The atmosphere is eclectic- just what one expects of southern California. Naturally, parking in this part of L.A. is at a premium. The valet parking (only parking option on property) is $44 per night. We tend to be mid-priced travellers so the cost was more than typical for us, but in the end it was all worth it.

This hotel was amazing. They had really nice rooms and especially nice bathrooms. The service was extremely accommodating and it was easy for us to stow our luggage when we got there. Overall, this is a top-notch establishment. Highly recommend.

Love the Hotel, The Location and the Staff - Valets are also so kind and helpful.
However, several times I've had issues with my room not being the same one I reserved and although the front desk tries to rectify the situation the last time it was not ideal. Aside from a few back end issues here and there, this is my go to hotel in LA

The location is convenient (right on Wilshire Blvd. which is close to both UCLA and Beverly Hills). The lobby is a hip area with a nice restaurant and lounge. The restaurant had sub-par service, but as it was more of a hangout spot rather than a real restaurant, I gave it a break. The hotel, it should be noted, is obviously old, but touched up to look newer. I stayed on a higher floor that was perhaps too dark (even with all of the lights on). The showers were nice and had hot water, but again, the rest of the room felt old with a new touch-up. This was particularly obvious in the lack of outlets in the room. The hotel had great amenities, free coffee and cold infused water in the lobby, and was overall a nice stay.

Came for anniversary. The front desk and everyone else was very nice and thoughtful. They gave us free champagne and chocolates and were very attentive to our needs. The room was really nice and the bathroom was extremely nice. The bathtub was deep and they provided lots of soap for bubbles.

Kimpton Palomar is a stylish boutique hotel that offers astonishing views of the city, a game room, and a decent size pool where you can hang out by the fire after. Shuki, Cameron and Natalia are the friendliest front office team to welcome you and take care of any needs you have. They rock and made my stay amazing.

The Palomar is a pet-friendly hotel in Westwood that feels very LA chic. The hotel is easily accessible of Wilshire, the staff is incredibly accommodating, the room in which we stayed was a good size (big enough for our family of four). Their restaurant was closed for a special event the night we arrived, but room service was surprisingly good. We only stayed one night, but experience was a good one, and I would stay again the next time I'm in West LA.

It's a really well-designed hotel. It's also one of the few I have ever been to with the pool table and the only one that also has skeetball and shuffleboard. Great ambience, too.

I went for my birthday. The hotel treated me so special. They brought me wine dog treats for my dogs bottle water ad strawberry chocolates. They also let me watch a free movie for one of the nights. Justine front desk was super nice and I liked the other girl at the front desk she was always smiling but I didn't catch her name. I loved the modern hotel look and how clean everything was. There's complimentary wine hour every evening which was enjoyable at the lobby. Overall great experience. I also appreciated the full size shampoo conditioner and body wash bottles you can use instead of the mini sample toiletries that are usually offered in hotels. They always greet you everytime you come back to the hotel. You really feel special to stay with them. And I love how i was able to bring my 3 dogs who also enjoyed there stay so much. I was impressed and thankful And would come back again for sure..one negative thing I have to say is the parking was way too overpriced I think prices need to be lowered. It was a big turn off and glad to see others agreed about that.

Rooms are okay. Not as nice as some of the other Kimptons I've stayed at. Amazing lobby and lobby bar with lots of different games to play in a chic environment. But they close the game/bar area at 11pm, even on Saturday. Pool area is cozy, but small. It's private but doesn't get a lot of direct sunlight. I'd stay there again, so much better than the cookie cutter hotels.

Very friendly and helpful staff & good food. I especially liked the lobby layout with lots of seating and nooks and crannies to hang out with friends.

Room was fine. One star detracted for lack of free wifi, though. It was an additional $12 or so a night and sort of slow despite that. Who doesn't have free wifi nowadays?

I loved the email offer of having a framed photo of my choice waiting for me to make the room feel like home. It wasn't actually in the room when I checked in, but they brought it up within 20 minutes or so after I asked about it - pretty quick on a busy Friday afternoon. The king bed is not the most comfy, but the room is nice and stylish. I did have to call downstairs to have the sink faucet tightened to the sink. It operates by moving one handle left and right, but the actual faucet stand moved too, making it difficult to actually turn it on and off. The pool area is cute and only gets direct sun until about 3:30pm right now. While the sun is there, it is TOASTY. No hot tub or active drink service, but you can get drinks in plastic cups from the bar to bring in yourself. Don't bother with the restaurant Double Take for anything other than cocktails - the drinks are fantastic. None of the food we've ordered has been good and is incredibly overpriced for the quality. Overall it's a fine hotel, but there are lots of little things that are just... Okay. According to our friends also staying here they are very kid friendly, so that would be a bonus for some people. As a couple with no kids, there are better options in the area.

Really nice hotel. Lobby and rooms are really modern and clean. Room was spacious enough and well funished. Bathroom was clean with fantastic water pressure and the provided toiletries were really nice especially the citrus bodywash! WiFi was free once you signed up for the free members club. Annoying extra step but you don't have to provide real info. The only downsides i can give are there no tea and coffee facilities in the rooms themselves. Worst issue was that the only parking is $44 a night. I understand this may be typical for the area but it came as a shock. I refused to pay that and found free all day parking in nearby residential streets.

Our flight arrived early (930am), so we went straight to the hotel hoping to store our bags before exploring the city and waiting to check in. We were pleasantly surprised to find that a room was already ready. Check-in was quick and front desk staff was very friendly and helpful. Room was clean and bed was super comfortable. Would definitely stay again!

Currently remodeling so you would think that the service would be even better. Nope. No apologies for guests having no access to the gym, or restaurant. I was sped through their makeshift check-in counter with a, "hi, last name, credit card and ID". After late flights, I hate poor hospitality the most. Spend your money at the W hotel up the street. I made a mistake for trying to give this place a chance.

I can't speak to much about the Palomar, as we were simply dropping off out of town co-workers, but we did stop off in the relaxing lobby as we waited for them to get situated and were offered complimentary red and white wine as we sat there. Staff is friendly and personable.
