Wonderful location and one of my favorite hotels in Arizona. The rooms are huge, modern and comfortable. The staff is friendly, quick and very professional. We’ve stayed multiple times and each time, the room was meticulously clean and well kept. The cleaning crew does an excellent job of making you feel safe in a clean room, especially in the current pandemic. The price was also very good for a hotel of this caliber. One of my favorite parts was also the great pool and view. Room service was also great as we’ve ordered food and linens and the service was very quick. 10/10 would definitely recommend and I can’t wait until my next stay.

A place just like home! The place is so relaxing and the staff members are very welcoming. They offered excellent world-class services and they are caring from the heart. I liked the warm welcome with fresh dragon fruit juice & dessert. Every day, they served a delicious breakfast for us. I so love it! Thank you so much!

Spent the night to enjoy the night life downtown. The Room was wonderful. Wife loved the soaking bathtub. Bed was very comfortable and quiet. Room service brought champagne and a charcuterie board. Comedy club, restaurants, bowling alley, clothes shopping, and gym are right outside the main doors. I went for a walk to see the architecture after dark. Buildings look their best with multi colored accent lighting revealing shapes and contours. If you are downtown needing a room be sure to stay the night at the Kimpton.

I would give a 5-star rating to this hotel. I stayed in this hotel for two days when I visited this area for business. I’ve got aa great service in this hotel. The room that they gave to me was so clean and neat. The bathroom was spaciously clean. The view from my room was a breathtaking scene. The breakfast buffet that they had was so good as well. The staff that I spoke to was so friendly and professional. Thank you for such a wonderful service!

The only one I know that has a rooftop view which was perfect for the complete experience. You'll enjoy their bath/toilet amenities! Just book so you'll know which one I'm referring too. Every corner of the hotel was picture perfect! We had our breakfast lunch and dinner at the hotel just because they also had the best quality of food in the area. Stay here and you wont regret it!

Beautiful and chic hotel. We loved our stay here. The pool was very nice, and shaded in the afternoon,. The crowd was a mixed age group. DJ was very cool. The staff was very nice! We definitely will stay here again.

Finally!!! A hotel that actually cares and provides superior service instead of just bragging that they do and then not living up to it.
CLEAN.... very nice and clean, comfortable, stylish, well appointed...
But this isn't what is so great. The great part is that you can tell that the staff here is taught to truly care about the guests experience and empowered to overdeliver to them.
Christian and Austin we both great examples of this kind of customer service. Well done!! We will definitely be back.

Came here for a quick getaway with my family. Hotel is nice and modern..what you would expect of the Kimpton brand. There is free coffee in the morning on the second floor. This hotel is in the heart of downtown Phoenix and right next to the convention center, ball park and arena so during concerts and games, the area can get quite crowded. Valet was I think $30ish/night which we did because self-parking was full when we came.

Excellent hotel overall. The daily happy hour with free wine and pizza at 5:00 PM and the location are the best things about this hotel. Also the staff is very nice. The beds are comfortable and they even have a firm & thick pillow if you request it. My one complaint is how they charge $8 for the water they put by your bed. This FRED water had no price on it and there was no price list in the room at the mini-bar near the fridge. If you're going to sell $8 water, at least warn people by placing a price tag on the front.

Great beds and awesome staff. Rooms and beds were comfortable. I did enjoy the cocktail hour, unfortunately there were a lot of drunk people at the pool and my family couldn't swim. Staff took pour complaint and apologized and computed us dinner at their restaurant whick was so so. Their flat bread is the best option we tried.

Beautiful rooms! Such a convenient location to Chase Field. Lots of restaurants within walking distance. Rooftop pool that is shaded in the afternoon with bar service. Coffee and tea in the morning and social hour with wine and vodka in the evening! We will definitely look to book again next time we are in Phoenix!

This hotel is a treat to stay at! Stylish, comfortable, and modern hotel with lots of amenities. The parking was a small pain, but worth it when enjoying the 4th floor pool with beverage and snack service pool-side! The restaurants located inside the hotel were phenomenal, and the location couldn't be beat as we walked to Chase Stadium for a Diamond Back game. Overall a great stay and we will be back.

This hotel is beautiful and the customer service and care was exceptional. The restaurant is delicious and the bar staff were more like mixologists. Great location to be able to access everything. It is in the center of every major happening event. It is quiet and super clean.

Are you Loquacious!? Then this place is the right choice for you. The staff is helpful and caring. If you're afraid to walk alone at night, the staff will go above and beyond to escort you. This modern hotel is nice and cozy. They provide free water to their guests. During happy hour, they also provide free snacks, wine, and vodka to their guests. If You're going swimming, they provide sunscreen too 😊 This place is a heavenly dream and I do not want to wake up.

Nice place they got a pool bar & Diner up on top and I took some pictures they're building a couple of buildings and on the roof you can see the construction looks pretty cool you can also see Diamondbacks stadium you can also see Talking Stick hotel and gaming Resort where they play the basketball games you'll see my pictures. It's a very nice hotel and it's an apartment condo complex as well. The staff is great they truly are very very personable very very nice even the car jockeys the kids and park your cars those young man hustle their butts off and they are really really nice young man. The front desk staff is extremely helpful the hotel has a very upscale feeling to it on the second floor if you live there you can get free coffee and tea and little amenities things like that. Very nice living conditions I know it's not cheap by any means. I walked up to the bar and upstairs on the pool deck and I said hey how much is a Long Island Iced Tea and the bartender says she said to me$15 plus tax and I said to her and tip and she smiled. Very nice place very very nice place beautiful building and beautiful surroundings and pictures.

Wonderful staff. Clean spacious rooms. Amenities we're nice. Pool was cool but was super super super packed! We had a wet room in our suite that was absolutely amazing! Housekeeping was excellent and attentive! Location was spot on with so much each direction you turned. Food, fun, bars, sports, you name it you could walk to it.

My favorite hotel chain EVER! The tub steals the show each time...but it is a close call...because the service is always supreme. The staff goes above and beyond, quick to respond, friendly, hospitable and eager to make your stay pleasant. The wine social hour is a big hit...a nice way to wind down or gear up for your night at the hotel.

Great hotel in the heart of downtown Phoenix with tons of restaurants, bars & entertainment options with in walking distance. Customer service is amazing. They offer bikes to ride around and a complimentary evening drink in the lounge. Its a great place to stay if you want to experience dowtown Phoenix. Added bonus if your traveling with kiddos the Science Museum, Childrens Museum, and Great Arizona Puppet Theater are all close by.
The only con I found is that parking is pricey.

Stayed for 4 nights. Seems like it's trying to be nicer than it really was. Linens seemed the same as quality as a holiday inn or la Quinta. Finishes it the room seemed of high quality but poor craftsmanship. Location was nice, close to lots of things to do. Cityscape was nice and close to chase field.

The Palomar is my go to hotel in Phoenix. The rooms are clean, spacious and comfortable with awesome views of the mountains (might only be certain ones but I've been lucky). The pool and bar are nice and then the restaurant downstairs is delicious and the servers are always nice. The minibar in the room is great and they have full size shampoo etc. In the bathroom. Finally and best of all, you get to access the gym next door (EOS) for free with your stay. I could keep raving about happy hour with free wine and other perks but basically staying here is a no brainer.

Service was great. Room was clean. For just overnight I have no complaints. Staying more than a couple nights I have a few wants. The fridge was full of stuff for sale and no room for anything a guest may bring. No coffee maker in the room. No hot tub by the pool (with open to public bar). These are small complaints for to a good hotel in an awesome location.

I am quite observant when I stay places as I own a lodging company and am always comparing towels, cleanliness, toiletries, staff, etc. to every property out there. This place is pretty damn amazing. Staff was super cool, warm but not fake, attentive etc. I was here for a convention and the bellman walked me all the way with a luggage cart to the convention center. No complaints, happy to be there... The guys the night before were equally nice. Toiletries are awesome and use large bottles offering a better environmental solution but are still great products. Thank you Kimpton, keep what you have going on and your Phoenix staff is top notch!

Amazingly nice hotel! The staff were very friendly. Their computer system was down when we arrived, but the hotel staff were very kind and quickly remedied our check in delays.

We had a Corner King Suite and it was one of the nicest that I have ever stayed in. Very spacious and the entire hotel is very modern and clean.

The pool bar on the 3rd floor is breathtaking. Lots of great shopping and dining within walking distance.

This is THE place to stay in downtown Phoenix!

Corner suite is wonderful with a huge bathroom. Air conditioning vents are oddly pointed into the window curtains, so it takes some effort to cool the rooms down. But the enclosed shower and gigantic tub more than make up for the ac vent.

I attended an office party at the Palomars Blue Hound restaurant. Very professional valet parking. The interior of the Palomar was immaculate. Beautiful decor and very relaxing atmosphere. Big bathrooms, with half glass. I love the location and the pool however the kitchen exhaust from the tilted kilt down stairs comes right on the pool deck. Happy hour on the pool bar and a nice breakfast joint outside of the second floor doors.

I was very pleased with this hotel experience! My boyfriend and I wanted to have a nice little stay-cation after seeing Metallica in phoenix. While this was a far distance from the university of phoenix stadium, we LOVED it here! Very clean, spacious, and modern rooms! The rooftop pool area is so intimate, clean, and beautifully designed...just like the rest of the hotel! the staff was so informative and friendly. I was pleasantly surprised to see that someone from customer service texted me while we were out and about to make sure we were comfortable and well taken care of. AMAZING! I am normally one to want to experience new locations and hotels when we go traveling or need a getaway, but this is hands down a hotel I will prefer for the phoenix area. I loved it so much I became a Kimpton rewards member!

Beautiful room, great amenities. It has everything you would typically need, and if you find something else you need they have a concierge happy to assist. There is an honor bar in the took you can use as a fridge and a room safe as well. It's located across from the arena so it can get slightly noisy, but we were here for an event so it's to be expected.

I can honestly say I was more than impressed with the Kimpton Palomar Phoenix hotel!

From my arrival to check-in area was simple and pleasant. They even have a fun little perks a coupon card called raid the mini fridge...perfect after a long trip!!

All staff are personable, professional and happy to help....this is not just those at the front desk, but valet, restaurant, cleaning and room service staff.....well done!!

The restaurant was great, cool bar area and extensive cocktail menu.

They even over a free coffee bar station in the morning, a water bar station all day and a free wine and cocktail happy hour each day....nice way to gather with your friends in the lobby!

The roof top pool and bar is amazing with great city views!!

All in all this was a great choice and would absolutely stay again or recommend for anyone looking to stay downtown Phoenix.

Well located near all downtown venues, exceptional staff, spacious rooms, 24 hour room service, amazing rooftop pool and bar with city views, well staffed and clean, clean and , clean!!

Great location if you are attending an event at Chase Field or Talking Stick Resort Arena! The staff at the Kimpton Hotel Palomar were very accommodating and helpful! We came up on a Saturday afternoon for a Saturday night baseball game with our 3 year old and 7 month old. The front desk had upgraded our room to a corner suite form a studio suite, which was very nice to have the separate living room since the kids napped before the game and we did not have to disturb them. However, our room was not ready (since we got there a little early) so we headed to the pool on the 3rd floor. There appeared to be an event going on, so the pool was packed and there was a band about to start. The manager told us it was going to get loud and offered to take us to the 12th floor resident pool which was quiet and had a great view of the city. He also offered to bring our food up to us that we had ordered. When we got back to our room from the baseball game, the gentleman from the front desk had sent up milk & warm cookies for our family with a nice note hoping we were enjoying our stay and Go DBacks! I would highly recommend Kimpton Hotel Palomar Phoenix!

Our c9m0any held a meet and greet with appetizers and open bar. The staff was professional and sincere. The room was very clean and comfortable. It was open to the outside seating area by the pool. Even though it was 117 degrees outside the inside was very cool and relaxing. The appetizers consisted of shrimp with prickly pear Cactus jelly, mozzarella and tomatoes with a drizzle of balsamic, mini southwestern egg rolls, and steak bites. All was delicious.

My wife and I thoroughly enjoyed our short stay. We weren't very needy being locals, but the staff was very polite and helpful during every interaction. The art was done well in our room and in the common areas. Very nice bath products helped us wind down from a long evening of bar hopping. The luxurious bed and linens made for very relaxing sleep. A great location on top of it all makes this a must stay. I cannot wait to come back!

I do not give 5 stars for no reason but there area several reasons why for Kimpton: free coffee and tea, nice birthday treats, love the soaps and lotion, they try to work with you to make it a great experience! Nice area. Hotel room was neat and clean, but a few small things hindered our stay. First was three bathroom did not have locks and that was weird. Additionally their parking directions/signs were lackluster and it was confusing to park. We had to ask. Once we found it, the staff member gave us better directions, but it was nerve racking if you didn't want to do valet. Over all nice hotel.

My fiancé and i stayed here for our anniversary recently. It was our first time staying at an Omani hotel and our experience was grand! All of the staff were super friendly and sincere. Tara Tillman was very helpful and when we checked in she made sure we had everything we needed. She went above and beyond we appreciate that typed of hospitality especially when celebrating a special occasion. The hotel restaurant also has a delicious prime rib. And the hotel is pet friendly so I was able to bring my dog .

Loved the location! So easy to get around on foot and also light rail stop across the street. The staff was welcoming and the decor was hip basic. In other words stylish without being confrontational. I barely noticed it. I got the impression the Kimpton Palomar was intentionally decorated so the furnishings stand back, and her guests stand out as the key design elements. Did it work? For me it did! Loved the convenience to the Phoenix Cityscape shops and restaurants as well. Definitely will stay here again. If you're attending an event at Talking Stick Arena, it is literally right across the street. I'd recommend asking for a room on the opposite side of the hotel from the arena if you're a light sleeper and there happens to be a concert during your stay as I could see and HEAR the concert both nights during my stay last month.

Had a great stay here over MLK weekend. Rooms are modern, clean. and well-kept. The location is perfect if you're attending an event at the Talking Stick Arena. Also convenient to downtown restaurants.

“Very nice location and very nice hotel”
Had an overnight stay here, very clean and modern. Beautiful pool and lobby. Very nice staff, no problems with the room. It's in a great location in Phoenix near tons of restaurants and things to do. Would stay again for a longer period of time.

We came to Phoenix for a marathon. We general love to stay at Kimpton hotels, and this one was perfectly located. The accommodations and the service are both top notch. The staff is extremely friendly and everyone went out of their way to be helpful.

very stylish hotel and excellent customer service. we stayed one night before driving north - nice pool, and views.. the pool area gets live at night and has a great outdoor party going. downtown, close to everything. -stayed in august, rooms where only $130 a night king bead -was a good deal for us. . enjoyed the dry weather and restaurants . I highly recommend Palomar Phoenix.

We just spent 3 nights at this wonderful hotel. The staff were over the top helpful. The amenities room (we were upgraded to a suite for a fraction of the price), complimentary breakfast and evening reception were exceptional. The staff move your car during the day while you are exploring the city to avoid a ticket. I can honestly say this was the best hotel we have stayed at in our lives. Would highly recommend to all visitors to AZ. Beautiful neighborhood gorgeous homes, parks. Feels very welcoming. Hate to share so it doesn't get over subscribed.

Great hotel staff that are very attentive to the needs of their guests. I never expect to have a door held open for me (even at a hotel) but this staff does a great job with hospitality towards their guests. Only issue I had was with the shower. The knobs were a bit finicky inbetween hot and cold. Otherwise it was a lovely place.

Love the Kimpton. Stay here whenever I'm in downtown Phoenix. Great staff, happy hour, coffee bar. But the best point is the attention to detail they provide to a quality sleeping environment, great bed and pillows!

We landed in Phoenix after a long flight, we were tired and ready for a rest. The Hotel is conveniently located in the heart of downtown, we were greeted with Valet parking upon arrival at the hotel.
The staff at the front desk were very friendly, we were promptly serviced and given our room keys. The room was clean and comfortable, a standard hotel room with a large bathroom.
We especially enjoyed the outdoor pool and bar, this was a real treat to be able to relax in the heat, cool off in the pool and sip cocktails.

I stayed at this hotel for a Phoenix Mercury game and everything was absolutely perfect..the staff was so friendly. Any questions we had the staff was more then happy to answer. The location was perfect for the game and close to good restaurants and bars. I will absolutely be back to stay at the Palomar and would recommend to anyone that I know is traveling to the area!

Klimpton always does at a fantastic job creating unique, up-scale, hip and modern hotels. The Palomar does not disappoint in any way. The Corner King Suite was huge and had the most impressive bathroom I have seen on any hotel. There is an evening reception, an amazing pool bar, and top notch service. I highly recommend this hotel.

Great location and environment. Pool area has a good atmosphere with music and bar with food. Room was good but does not get as cold as would of liked. Check out is at noon and cleaning lady came 4 time starting at 8 am to try and clean the room. Overall great place, definitely going to stay here again.

Very beautiful hotel with great amenities, centrally located. My only complaint was they did not tell us at check in we would be able to hear the clubs across the street or that the music played at the pool till midnight. (Stayed Fri-Sat)

It was a nice hotel with a great location. The common areas where nice but the room was bland. There is no direct access to the hotel from the parking garage, it requires you to take two elevators, one to get to the outside of the building and once your inside the hotel one to your room, weird since its right on top of the garage. They also charge $20 a night for parking if youre in the garage below which is ridiculous since parking is generally free if youre a hotel guest pretty much everywhere else. To add insult to injury I could have just not paid the parking fee since there wasn't a parking attendant to take your parking tickets in the morning. So I pretty much gave them $20 for no reason.

May stay again, I'm not no certain though.

I loved this hotel when I stayed here. First of all they are dog friendly, second of all the rooms are HUGE and they have an oversized bath tub as well (although I think they upgraded my room). The service here is great too, the only downside is that there is only valet parking but thats the cost of staying downtown.

Absolutely love the Kimpton chain - BUT Lustre rooftop pool & bar is LACKING LUSTER !!
They advertise DJ from 3-6 on Sunday's & they were done & packing up @ 5:05p... WTH??
Not to mention over priced week drinks!!
Sorry I will be staying elsewhere next time.

My husband, Walt Venable and I spent the night at the Palomar in Phoenix. The room was very comfortable and the staff was courteous and efficient. We loved our room and the bed was very comfy! We had a huge problem with the 2nd floor dining room, Blue Hound Kitchen and Cocktails. My husband had finished a tedious business meeting and was very hungry. We decided to go to the hotel restaurant to save time. It was 2:00pm and the place was virtually empty except for a few at the bar. We were seated promptly but NO ONE came to wait on us. I had made eye contact with the waitress who continued chatting with folks at the bar. After a very long 5 minutes we left for a sandwich shop next door. Poor service in the restaurant gives this fine hotel a black eye.

I had a very pleasant (one week) stay.
The staff was very professional.
The rooms have very comfortable beds.
I especially enjoyed the hotel was "in the middle of everything" and great bars, restaurants, and venues are all within a very short walk of the hotel. Very close to the convention center and is a great choice if you are attending a convention and want to "get away from the crowd" at night.
A barber, health center, and CVS pharmacy with a grocery store are within a few steps of the hotel.
Coffee service every morning and several great places for breakfast, lunch, and dinner in the hotel and just outside the door. I would recommend highly and stay here again any time!
