Green Key Eco-Rating Program 4

With more than 1,200 hotels certified in Canada since its inception in the 1990s, the Green Key Eco-Rating Program awards hotels an environmental rating of one to five Green Keys. Green Key members are then given guidance on how to "unlock" opportunities to reduce operating costs and environmental impacts - and in turn earn more keys.

The Green Key audit looks at nine major areas of sustainable hotel operations:
• Energy conservation
• Water conservation
• Solid waste management
• Hazardous waste management
• Indoor air quality
• Community outreach
• Building infrastructure
• Land use
• Environmental management

Service is friendly stole an apple from the front desk. Room is nice with a great view of the Vancouver skyline. The bathroom is nice meant for pervs as you can see right into the shower but it's really not worth it. The sink is too damn close to the faucet barely could wash hands under it and water get all over the table. They are "going green" by making sure you put a damn sign on the bed so they change sheets which just means they wanna save on their cleaning bills. Their dry cleaning prices are misleading and always charge an extra dollar than what you see for some reason. Quick walk from everything even a seabus right here to get to downtown. It's alright but the view alone isn't worth it over other places.

Absolutely gorgeous rooms with views. Great selection of amenities and very helpful service at front desk. Happy hour available at the restaurant downstairs. Close to everything including seabus terminal.

The hotel room is very decent and clean, although slightly old. To compensate, their lobby lounge has very great choices of wine and cocktail. The hotel is also in very close walking distance to the lonsdale quay market and a couple of very nice restaurants! I would come again if I visit north vancouver again!

This is my second time here. First time we had good experiences at the lobby restaurant downstairs. This time I was here attending a graduation event. The food was top notch and so were the desserts! The place was kept really nicely and it's short walk away from a killer view. It's definitely one to consider when hosting events.

Great hotel. Loved the room. Only strange thing I found however - bathroom had a massive window into the main room; one could close it with a set of blinds, however just a neat thing about the room.

Great Hotel. Right on the pier in North Vancouver. Restaurants and shopping within walking distance. There is construction in two lot's in front of the hotel as of 4/20/18 that do create some obstacles to The View and a little bit of noise during the day. I still think regardless it was a wonderful Hotel

I would stay here again. The only reason I'm not giving it a 5 star rating is because of 2 things. First was the fact that parking isn't included in the room rate, and second is how much they charge for a pet. Great hotel though

Great upscale hotel right on the pier. Lonsdale Quay is right next door for lots of good food options. Gym and pool are really nice as well. Waterfront view room is worth the extra $$, but looks like a building is being built that might block the view once completed. Enjoy the view while it lasts!

There isn't anything to say but this Hotel was Wonderful. Condo's have been built all around the Hotel now so there isn't much of a Harbour view left. You just have to go out the front lobby doors and you can walk around the pier and see the water. Beds were firm, toiletries were Fantastic, the cleaning staff were Extremely pleasant. The Hotel Lounge had Great food and drinks and even nightly entertainment. Would definitely visit again

7

Nice and clean place to stay. We stayed at a north facing suite for one night. The room was clean, big, and comfortable. The rooms around ours were all occupied but we had no noise issue. The front desk staff were very respectful. The only issue is parking. There is a very tight parking lot available, but for a really high price. I think a hotel should provide free parking for its guests.

Great place to stay on business trips! The rooms are large and comfortable, well kept, and if you have harbor side have excellent views. Have never had a noisy night here over the years, which means I get a good sleep. The pool is a divided lane pool only, so if you want to get some exercise or burn off frustration it's a good place to go. Hot tub, Sauna, & steam room are what you would expect from a hotel. Be warned that the in-room shower has a full glass wall in it which looks out onto the room. There are blinds, but they are controlled from the room, not the shower, so make sure you trust the person you are with!

Stayed overnight for a wedding. The hotel is very nice and the rooms are nicely designed. However, there was a large window right beside the shower looking into the shower and bathroom with the blinds on the outside of the bathroom which was unusual. There service and location were both fantastic

Service staff seemed confused by nearly every request. One persons meal was brought out more than 10 mins after the rest of the table's.. For the price point I expected better. Nice breakfast though.

Very good value for the brunch. Decent portion size and not expensive at all. They have free parking if you give them the stall number. Friendly service and definitely tasty. They have some festive decorations for the holidays.

Very nice hotel. Room was clean and staff were friendly. Only issue was we had a room with 2 double beds. Double beds are not the best when sleeping with someone else.

I was there for brunch on a Sunday. The food was mediocre at best and at one point somebody I presume who was the manager was telling one of the wait staff to hurry up and get food out quicker, in front of the guests. They where obviously busy and I wondered why the manager wasn't bringing food out himself.

Beautiful hotel with amazing stuff willing to help you in anything. The hotel is amazingly clean and the rooms are amazing. Also the location of the hotel is great, it's accessible by various sources of transportation and it's beside many restaurants. I will always come back and stay in pinnacle when I visit Vancouver

The service for the event was excellent and it was a great wedding hosted by them. The few things that took away from the experience was the cost of drinks and it was quite warm in the lobby. With all that being said they did let us into the ballroom early to enjoy the nicely air conditioned room

10

Excellent hotel experience. A bit on the pricey side, but all-in-all enjoyable. We stayed on the view side, which we could see the Lonsdale Quay and the harbour and then downtown in the distance from out the window. Nice lane-pool and jacuzzi for amenities. Easy walking distance to the Quay and also the Sea-Bus to go downtown.

Room was clean, spacious, and felt very nice inside. Service was also friendly and very helpful. One thing I didn't like but didn't detract from anything: view of the street. If you're staying here, do yourself a favour and pay the extra couple of bucks for either a good mountain view room or an ocean view!

Attended a wedding reception at the Pinnacle and it was great. Staff gave good service and were professional. Food was ok but more of a personal opinion as I don't enjoy hotel buffets. Washroom and venue was clean.

First off, North Vancouver, where this hotel is located at is MUCH MUCH MUCH better than staying in Downtown Vancouver. I found the downtown to be crowded with the usual homeless population and seedy streets close to major hotels and tourist attractions. On the other hand, North Vancouver is only 6 kilometers away and the area where the hotel is extremely nice with open spaces, their own boardwalk and market, souvenir shops, etc... So 5+ stars for location I had a room with the Harbor view, and it was very nice. The King Bed room was spacious with C.O. Bigelow toiletries. The bathrooms are modern. The hotel is very clean and well-kept, and the service is great as well. There was a microwave in my room and I called the restaurant to deliver a dinner plate and silverware. They sent them promptly without any hesitation. If I go back to Vancouver, I will definitely stay at this hotel.

Convenient location in North Vancouver close to passenger ferry 15 minutes to downtown. Current has nice view of the water but construction of new building on waterside may change that. Building construction hasn't started yet. Well maintained hotel with decent restaurant.

I was there attending a wedding this weekend and the venue was beautiful. The terrace had sweeping views of Vancouver downtown skyline, and the hotel was close enough to the water to walk down and enjoy between ceremony and reception. The ballroom was functional and well laid out for the wedding, and the staff were all helpful. I would definitely consider staying there after this pleasant experience.

The hotel was conveniently located steps from the Lonsdale quay market. We had a room on the 7th floor facing the beautiful water with an unobstructed view of the downtown skyline. The bed was so comfortable! The front desk staff was friendly and helpful. We used the hotel pool and hot tub, it was wonderful. Would definitely stay again!

We had a business seminar at this location. The location is great. Central. Have been several times to the meeting rooms and am never disappointed. I have had meetings that included food and snacks and ones that just had coffee. I find the food and service to be very good. My only complaint would be that the chairs are a bit uncomfortable for the height of the table as they tend to lean back and it causes back discomfort after a while.

Very nice room. A nice location although there is an extraordinary amount of construction going on around the hotel and we were not able to get back to the hotel for a small amount of time one day. That was in no way the hotel's fault.

The view of the city was great but there was lots of construction outside, the room however was very odd as it had a window that peered directly into the bathroom, with a blind you could close and open only from outside the bathroom, so there was no privacy, and the bathroom door had no lock and didn't close fully. The beds were comfortable, although very small. The people were very nice and helpful, but overall is wasn't a very positive experience.

We had an event in ballroom and they forced us to pay to PSAV company three times more than what it worth for Audio system and projector. It is not fare at all. they ask for $250 only if you want to have another company or yourself bring our own equipment and did not let you to use the built in speakers!!! Paid around $1000 for what we could have them $250. The staff behavior and food quality was excellent though.

Stayed here for the 1 night in the spring. The hotel accommodations was great and we got a good deal. Though I was disappointed that everything beyond the actual rooms stay cost extra (parking, breakfast, bottled water, etc.) except the indoor swimming pool on a higher level, which we did enjoy swimming in. Also, the parking, considering that is cost extra, was rather tight. However, the view of downtown Vancouver was amazing, and it was nice how it was adjacent to Lionsdale Quay.

The hotel was fine, however, the gym certainly was not. It was poorly kept, to say the least. There were no towels (I am not sure if they ran out or they are just not available). Every four-star hotel I have ever been in has towels available. There was a basket that looked like it was for dirty towels, but there was trash in it (even though there was a wastepaper basket near the water cooler). One of the cables stuck. One of the TVs did not turn on. There was no paper towel for wiping down the benches. They were out of tissue paper too! I can only imagine the germs.... The mats were ripped and the floors stained. There was no lifeguard at the pool, no attendant for the change rooms and no one to help in the exercise room. It is sad as it was the best view I have ever seen from a gym. 10 out of 10 for the view. 1 out of 10 for the gym. It looks like no one cares.

We thought we were at the Harbor hotel, but it turned out the pier hotel was great too. We were able to see downtown Vancouver from our room. It was amazing to see all the lights. The check in was fast and polite. The room itself wasnt the biggest but we did purchase last minute

One of the most beautiful views in all of Vancouver, plus you can watch TV from the bathtub great place to enjoy a glass of wine. Our flight was delayed 6 hours we had to check in at 2 o'clock in the morning Hotel made us feel like it was perfectly normal and when we asked about a restaurant open they gave us directions to two different places. Really appreciated the care and attention that we received.

I'm a 22 year old business professional in Vancouver on business. This hotel was booked by my company and paid for before I had even arrived. Walking up to the check in desk I was greeted by a man in his mid-late twenties with darker hair, I am unsure of his name but he told me that protocol need a credit card and ID in order to check in. When I asked he said he just needed an imprint, so I quizzed him again. Would he be putting anything on my credit card? After fifteen minutes of going back and forth I finally got my answer. He wanted me to authorize the hotel to put a $300 deposit on MY credit card. My hotel was already paid for in full. I don't know if it was because I looked too young to be staying in a fancy hotel or perhaps he simply likes taking advantage of tourist. Or maybe he was just sexist? But there was no way I was letting the hotel put a $300 charge on my credit card. After, now nearly twenty minutes, the guy changed the amount fro $300 to $100. If it's company policy, how can this guy just magically change the amount needed? I sat in the lobby for 45 minutes of talking to my bosses, finally we decided to just put the $100 on my credit card. I am unimpressed with the hotel's policy. Why tell me you need an imprint of my card if really you plan on charging $300? If I hadn't pushed this guy would he have just charged to $300 to my card without me knowing? Isn't that fraud? Wouldn't I be in for a surprise when I walked down to get a bite to eat only to have my card declined. This was terrible customer service, I don't ever plan on staying here again. Neither does my company, friends or family. Also, the pictures of the hotel lie. There is a giant yellow crain blocking the "fantastic view" of the pier. They are also building something on the harbour. It's not a pretty sight.

I am now spoiled for all other Vancouver staycations .We have visited many hotels in and around the Lower Mainland . The Pinnacle met and exceeded all expectations and the breakfasts are wonderful .Loved the harbourview room and my husband wants to install "a shower like that " in our home but we don't have "that" view so we'll just have to visit again .
