Prince de Galles a Luxury Collection Hotel Paris

The Prince de Galles, a Luxury Collection Hotel in Paris, has intrigued and enthralled guests since opening in 1929. We welcome you to France's storied Paris, with our 5-star service and Art Deco chic. Situated?on Avenue George V, a few steps from the iconic Champs-Elys?es, our family hotel places you near luxury boutiques, the tranquil beauty of the Seine and legendary landmarks including the Arc de Triomphe. The serene Wellness Suite encourages relaxation and renewal. Our rooms and suites are immaculately designed and appointed with home-like comforts; offering sweeping views of the Paris skyline. Throughout your stay, enjoy our unwavering dedication to service that has distinguished our luxury hotel for nearly a century. The 19.20, cocktail and culinary memoir bar, offers the opportunity to savor food and beverage recipes that honor Paris. Enthusiastic about new experiences, the Prince de Galles is delighted to open a new chapter with the first European Akira Back restaurant, freshly opened in early 2022.

A city like no other, Paris is rich with history, architecture, and style. And right in the heart of Paris is the Prince de Galles on Avenue George V, steps away from what has been called the most beautiful avenue in the world: the Champs-Elysées. With exclusive boutiques, cafés, and restaurants along the tree-lined avenue and on adjacent streets, an added "je ne sais quoi" of romance, flair, and allure is always within reach. Major landmarks in the vicinity include the Grand Palais, built in 1900 for the World's Fair, and the Arc de Triomphe, ordered by Napoleon as a memorial to the French Grand Army.

Wander through the "beaux quartiers" and discover lesser-known jewels such as the Petit Palais, a smaller museum that showcases masterpieces from Delacroix, Courbet, and Ingres. A visit to Paris would not be complete without a walk along the Seine and its beloved bridges. One of the most distinctive and elegant, the Alexandre III bridge, is a short walk away from the hotel. The nymphs on the arches depict the Seine and the Neva rivers, in honor of Tsar Alexandre III, whose son Nicholas II laid the first stone in 1896. Go to the source and learn about the history of fashion at the Musée de la Mode, a Renaissance-style palace that displays the history of French fashion from the 18th century to today.

Other points of interests include the many Parisian gardens such as the Tuileries, and the secret passages and corridors that connect streets and alleys throughout the city—Galerie Colbert, Galerie Vivienne, and Passage Choiseul to name a few. To get a feel for the mysteries of the past, visit the Père Lachaise cemetery, or, if youre brave enough, the Catacombs. Tired of walking? A horse calèche ride around the Eiffel Tower is a dazzling way to end the day.

I stayed with my wife on our honeymoon at the hotel and came down to the restaurants at least once for each restaurant.
I cannot even describe how good the food was let alone the service and the staff

Please excuse my late review as I stayed in October 2019. I would like to thank your staff for such a special honeymoon for my wife and I. Paula at the front desk was amazing. Not only were we upgraded but she personally walked us to our suite. We will remember her for the rest of our lives. Definitely made us feel special with the amenity sent to our room. Gracias Paula! Lovely. At breakfast ask for what is not put out at the buffet, like full English or Chinese breakfast or American. They have some lovely selections not put out. Also the French toast is to die for.

We loved this hotel. The modern Decor was posh and made you feel like you were stepping into a fashion magazine. The staff is very confident and quick to respond to your needs. And our room was just gorgeous with a beautiful view. We really love the location because we could get to so many attractions by just walking.

The rooms are beautiful and clean. The service is absolutely phenomenal! We got engaged in Paris while staying at the hotel. They provided us with flowers, champagne and a framed photograph of the proposal. The experience here was unforgettable!

One excellent palace in Paris. Few know that you can go there to take a coffee and spend a moment in luxurious comfort for a few euros only. The restaurant offers an interesting mix of classic and modern French food. On the expensive side. There is a very convenient subterranean parking lot nearby.

This is a nice hotel, l would definitely stay here again. Some European cities a 5 star hotel would be an American 3 star but this hotel is what one would expect from a 5 star hotel in the US. The only issue I had was with the door guys, arriving and departing, no help or offer with our bags. Not something you would expect to happen at a 5 star

Amazing hotel. Honestly the best I've ever stayed. We booked through Costco Travel for our Honeymoon and was treated like Kings and Queens. Staff was extremely accommodating, you can ask for anything and they will provide. They'll book all your activities, just ask. Rooms are clean and decor is chic. Housekeeping is amazing. They clean well. For our honeymoon we got complimentary bottle of champagne and strawberries covered in really good chocolate. It's right in the middle of Champs Elysees shopping district. Truly 5 star.

Fantastic, old-school service in an art-deco hotel. The public areas are beautiful but the real surprise here are the bedrooms. They're furnished with custom made pieces and the suites have incredibly plush baths, dressing rooms and some even have balconies. Very good bar that serves food in case you're not in the mood for an evening at the hotel's restaurant. Breakfast is outstanding, as was room service. If you can, get an exterior facing suite.
