Great hotel. Central to the city. Awesome staff at reception. Enjoyed the stay. Parking is limited at the hotel. Other than that, will stay here next time I visit.

The location is probably the best thing about the CQ Hotel, putting you right on Cuba Street amidst a wide range of dining and shopping options. The service at the hotel is also really good, and every staff member we interacted with seemed to be friendly and good at what they did.
Our room was okay, and although more compact that other hotels for a similar price, felt sufficiently spacious due to a high ceiling. Some of the fixtures were a bit worn and the shower leaked though unfortunately.
As for the general facilities, the express breakfast was a bit odd, not allowing cereal as part of it, only a range of relatively unpalatable toast options, and you will probably have a better experience grabbing breakfast at a nearby cafe. The small upstairs pool was nice and heated, very good after a relaxing day, but potentially crowded if more than a few couples/families decide to go there at the same time.

Hotel and facilities looks in overall are up to 4 star. Room does not have AC, just a broken fan to circulate air, a bit noisy from activities below when opening the window, swimming pool was salty, hot soaking pool was soap bubbly, and changing room floor slippery. Front desk staff needs better training and professionalism. Not acceptable.
