Awesome place! I’m not a rich, high class individual. My wife and I splurged on a room and some golf. This place is awesome! The golf course was amazing too !! There was an incident I experienced that was disappointing. A young employee that is supposed to be cleaning the pool chairs and tables. He instead took a seat in a chair and cleaned the same corner of the table for 15 minutes. I think this is awful with the virus . This is important job. Give it to an employee that is responsible I have a video of it on my phone if someone from the hotel wants to see it . It was Sunday May 31st

Best little get away we have had in a long time. From the front desk to the spa, everyone had a smile. This was southern hospitality to the fullest. Something I haven’t seen in a long time. Spa service was excellent. The pool was beautiful and relaxing. The fitness center had everything you need. We will be back THANK YOU! I

Wonderful Staff! Had a problem upon arrival with no wash towels and very few towels but the nice gentleman went out of his way( sorry can't remember his name at the desk) Tiffany Porter delivered a hand written apology with 2 complimentary breakfast tickets. That was really thoughtful. I've visited several times in the past and have always enjoyed the beautiful property, complimentary bikes, fitness room very well equipped and spa is wonderful. My one concern : the rooms are getting worn for the price. Would recommend this property.

The pool and outdoor fire pits are beautiful and perfect gathering and relaxing outlets. The room we stayed in has a lovely balcony with small table and 2 chairs, perfect for romantic breakfast.

Love staying here. Been here twice and both weeks I have had clean rooms and great service from the entire staff. Pool is clean and hopefully if you go at 5pm around the pool area is a set of bag pipe players they are very good! All in all good value for the golf resort.

Location was away from town, restaurants, etc and was very lovely and quiet. The rooms were large and very comfortable. Parking was a ways away from the front entrance which made carrying your luggage inside somewhat cumbersome.

The room was nicely appointed and spacious, though the bed was VERY firm. We really enjoyed the pool, hot tub, and spa! The coffee shop had tasty coffee, and the infused water stations were a nice touch. Staff was awesome.

Visited here for a birthday event and it's so beautiful. I didn't experience the hotel rooms but the outdoor area is so picture perfect. I will definitely be back to visit. I saw the pool area had a waterfall that I would love to see up close.

Bellmen very helpful and non aggressive ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Front desk greeters very helpful and pleasant.⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Room:⭐️⭐️⭐️One negative thing about the room: There was a small hole in the sheet on our bed. Also the room temperature did not reflect what the thermostat read. Service was good in most areas. Room service⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️
Restaurant gets mixed reviews in service. One waiter didn’t seem to care. Hostess was cheerful and managed many demands with grace beyond her youthful appearance. Manager of waiters was efficient and pleasant...
Beautiful setting. Walk to the Farmers market every first Friday👍🏻

The room was overlooking the front of the hotel. The view was ok, the resort view is better. The rooms are spacious and includes a refrigerator and a safe but no microwave. There are 3 restaurants on site plus room service. My room did have ants this time around. I've stayed at this hotel about 4 times.

The hotel has a great look and the beds are comfortable and the bathrooms are great. But the food was awful. Ordered 2 different orders of room service and the first time we had over cooked chicken melted ice cream ( almost a liquid ). The next morning we ordered breakfast and received bacon that was very under cooked, eggs that looked and tasted like they were straight from McDonald's. We did not even eat a bite of this. I made a complaint of this and also wrote the manager and all I received in return was a " thank you for letting us know how to improve". If you are paying $500 for a one night stay with meals, you would expect the best food you can buy. I have stayed at a $59/ night hotel and had better service and food. Highly disappointing. Not a great way to spend a 10 year wedding anniversary, or $500. Again, the hotel is fabulous, but the food and service needs major improving. We will not be back.

Had a top floor corner room overlooking the golf course. The view was beautiful and my toddler enjoyed playing on the extended balcony. The indoor saltwater pool was great for young swimmers. We throroughly enjoyed our meals from the Clubhouse Grill and Brock's. We plan on coming back, and I highly recommend a stay here!

I thoroughly enjoyed my stay at Ross Bridge. Stayed there for one night with my boyfriend for Valentine's Day. We got the King room which was absolutely gorgeous and everything I wanted and more. I didn't tell this to the clerk upon reserving the room but I really wanted a walk in shower and this room had it...the bathroom was beautiful. The balcony was very nice. What I really loved was breakfast the next morning. Somewhat pricey because we opted for the buffet but it was well worth it! A 5 star breakfast without a doubt! The beds are extremely comfortable. The only thing I wasn't in favor of was the fact that my boyfriend and I wanted to eat dinner there but you have to make reservations for dinner in advance you can't just go down and join everyone else for dinner. So we had to leave the property for dinner. Oh I had a surprise for my boyfriend when he got to the hotel and the desk clerk was very helpful and accomadating as well. I'll be visiting again very soon!

We took a last minute trip to Birmingham and stayed at The Renaissance Ross Bridge. We enjoyed everything about our stay. The staff was friendly and assertive, the room was clean, and while we did not use the amenities, there were definitely some that we would be likely to use in the future. We will definitely be back!

The grounds and surround area is gorgeous at this hotel. The staff is super friendly and helpful and the rooms were very clean. It is a slight drivr from downtown but its a very nice drive though a few small towns that you can find some neat antique stores and good mom and pop restaurants. The pool and surrounding area behind the pool looked amazing and driving around looking at the homes here was also a nice treat. Would definitely come back!!

Stayed in a regular bedroom with a king bed. Everyone was very nice! Only complaint I have is the pillows! They offered no head support, per usual with hotel pillows. Would stay again though!

Much better experience than last time. Hotel staff was attentive and prompt to any and all requests. Room was quiet (not taking into account our 2.5 year old and 7 month old, ha) and spacious. Spent a fair amount of time with family in the lobby and that was very comfortable as well.

This has to be one of the most beautiful hotels in the Southeast. The grounds are well kept and if you have a family and visit during the warmer months you will really enjoy the pool and deck areas! I was here for a meeting and was very pleased with the food and at night we visited the bar where you could order from a wide range of beer, wine and cocktails.

I went here for the first time ever today to grab a quick bite with a friend. I had such a nice time. I had a rough day today & our waitress Kelsey C., was very professional and sweet. She was not super chatty(which I LOVED), gave us our spaces, & our food/drinks were delicious. When I wasn't impressed with my crunchy fries, she switched them out quickly & they were perfect. Scenery is very cozy & relaxing. Restrooms were clean. I'm looking forward to going back & I look forward to seeing Kelsey C. again.

A great family or couples getaway. All around well done. Only exception might be the service in the dining halls and those dang scratchy towels - why?. The kids and adults in our group loved it and hope to return again soon.

our stay was magical!!! the buffet at Brock's in the mornings is beyond compare. everything you can imagine and more is there - and it's all incredible quality. the staff was incomparably helpful. I've never been somewhere like this where every single last person truly wanted to help! they had free milkshakes on Saturday in the lobby and comped our breakfast on Sunday morning because there had been music playing in a neighboring room late on Saturday and the manager was genuinely concerned about how it affected our stay. the pool is great for kids!!! there's so much to do: bikes, tennis, swimming, badminton, great restaurants, and grounds to explore. definitely want to go back!!

I was at the Renaissance for a graduation luncheon for a friend of mine. We had a very large party (20+) and the staff met all our needs promptly and our orders were all correct. The food was of excellent quality and I would fully recommend the BLTA (Bacon, Lettuce, Tomato, and Avacado) sandwhich!

After a nice dinner across the street at the mall a couple of us had a drink at the lobby bar. It was nice, with Starbucks and full bar offering. I was sort of surprised that the price schedule for a glass of wine matched that of a business/conference hotel in larger city like Washington DC. I know Birmingham is a foodie town, so maybe I need to adjust my expectations.

Breathtaking view of Alabama sunsets, bagpipes at sunset, world class food at Brock's and amazing golf. Staff is courteous and extremely professional. Rooms are well furnished and certainly above average in comparison to comparably priced hotels. It is a bit off the path from the Interstate, providing a quiet respite from the hustle of the city traffic. I have stayed here on many occasions and feel it is one of the best hotels in Alabama.

I come to Birmingham for work often but I've always been priced out of staying here. Apparently January is a slow month for them so I was able to get a room at a great price. I am so glad I did! The hotel is not exactly easy to get to but it's not exactly off-the-grid either. Really, it's exactly...

This is a beautiful hotel! The rooms are comfortable and well maintained. We love the pool, the on-site dining, and the friendly and helpful staff. In the cooler months, the fireplace in the main lobby is a treat, and the fire pits on the outdoor patio in the evenings make for a great place to sit and chat. We come here often, and haven't ever been disappointed.

This place is very nice. I love the decoration and overall vibe it gives off. Haven't done any holding out spa services yet, but I will tomorrow. Right now my company is having a hackathon in the hospitality suite. I wish there were more outlets and stronger wifi signal. otherwise everything is pretty great!

The check in experience was odd in that they wanted to charge the card again. The staff did not seem particularly nice, just "doing their job" professional....but no welcoming politeness behind it. There was a charge for Wifi.... It was a conference! And the room seemed understocked.... not enough shampoo, no shower cap, no microwave, not enough glassed..... We also had a dirty pillowcase....
For the area and price, I was not impressed.

We are a family of 6 (4 young girls) and ADORE Ross Bridge. We don't golf, but love the pool, slide, pool bar, et al. The staff is extremely friendly and courteous, all requests were brought to our room almost immediately. Check-in was seamless. The Spa is one of my favorites anywhere. There is a relaxing hot tub, steam room, and wonderful showers with Aveda products. I have visited at least 5-10 times over the years and have never been disappointed. Get a Bushwacker if you're there by the pool in the summer! Yum!

We cannot connect ChromeCast or Amazon Echo to our $15-a-night wifi connection at Marriott Renaissance Ross Bridge in Birmingham, Alabama because each connection requires a separate login. Even though the package allows 10 devices to be connected for the fee (unlike, say, Red Roof Inn, Motel 6 or any other budget motel next to a truck stop off the interstate where wifi is all free), many devices have no way to input text, so we couldn’t sign these devices up. Very disappointing, and in fact, almost a dealbreaker, especially when the person I spoke to said it was the fault of our devices’ firewalls.
