Very nice place to stay. The complementary breakfast was amazing, the scrambled eggs were not, but not to worry you can always ask for sunny side up or other. The hotel staff were amazing and responsive. They even called us a day prior our leaving to scheduled a cab service. If we forgot to take of the "Do not disturber sign" of the door the housekeeping called to verify if we needed anything. We defended will come and satay at this hotel when we visit Paris.

We stay at Marriott properties frequently and never leave reviews. In the case of the Renaissance Paris Trocadéro a review is necessary The staff at this property were wonderful. Whether it was in the restaurant, the front desk, or housekeeping the did an outstanding job. I have a short term disability and the staff could not have made me feel more welcome. I was self conscious and nervous about traveling but I didn’t need to be at this hotel. We stayed for a week during a hectic holiday period. Unfortunately, we had the opposite experience at the Marriott Grosvenor Square in London. The staff was unwelcoming, had handicap access to restaurants blocked.
If you are visiting Paris you can’t go wrong with the Renaissance Trocadéro.

Perfect location in Paris. Calm area, very clean rooms and up to date style while still French. Bathroom was very nice with Bvlgari amenities, marble, only the shower was not so practical. Service and breakfast were both fantastic, great croissants and pastries. Very nice welcome for Marriott members.

Really good location with a short walk to the Eiffel Tower and different subway stations. Most walks to the metro or the tower are around 10 minutes. The rooms are very clean and quaint —- nothing too fancy, but what you would expect from Marriot. The breakfast was very good with a lot of options. Recommend including that in your reservation. Of course, there are many cafes located nearby as well.

Rooms in old building are more "Parisian" style - small and cozy. New building rooms are more spacious. This said, all rooms are clean and well maintained. Staff was friendly. And of course location close to Trocadero is plus. For typical tourists, hop-on-hop-off bus stop is also close by.

I cannot say enough wonderful things about this hotel! The second we arrived and two friendly faces met us curbside to take our bags and welcome us to Paris - I knew that we had selected the right place to stay. Traveling with my two teenage daughters - the room is perfect. A king size bed and a single bed. The room is a perfect balance of Paris charm and modern amenities. Beds are super comfortable, bathroom is great, and we can even see the top of the Eiffel Tower from our room! The location is perfect! The neighborhood is perfect. Walking distance to some of the major sites, really great neighborhood restaurants, and a grocery store only steps away from the hotel makes this the perfect location for a Paris experience. And - the hotel service is seriously incredible. When I made the booking several weeks before the trip - I mentioned to one of the staff that my daughters and I were coming to Paris for a few days to celebrate my 50th birthday. The evening we arrived, a surprise knock at the door - and they delivered champagne, a birthday card and a wonderful sweet treat! I enjoyed the champagne and the kids enjoyed the desert! This is not my first trip to France - but its my first trip to Paris with my daughters. I have already told them this will be a regular trip for us - because the location, the accommodations and the service make this one of the best experiences ever! Our family travels a lot.....we have discerning taste - and this hotel easily rises to the top.

Great location with a view of Effel tower from our room. Rooms are smaller and less modern than other Renaissance hotels, but the location makes up for it. Wonderful staff. Fun breakfast.

What a wonderful hotel! Upon arrival we were gifted a delicious bottle of red wine, two fancy bottles of fresh juice, chocolates and macarons. Everyone has been very helpful! Our room has a perfect view of the Eiffel Tower - we were able to watch it shimmer from bed!
The only complaint - our room was very cold. Turning the temperature dial in the room in either direction didn't make any change.

My wife and I chose the Renaissance Paris le Parc Trocadero for our stay in Paris to celebrate my wife's Birthday. From the moment we arrived (early morning) the staff was engaged and accommodating. We were given a lovely room overlooking the courtyard. Having read previous reviews we were prepared for the open showers and low lighting in the bathroom. It was not a problem at all. Our room was comfortable enough to unpack move around and use the ironing board without feeling cramped. The beds were comfortable, we slept well each night. A unique feature at this hotel (for us anyway) was that you have to insert your key card into a slot in the wall to keep the lights on. Being Marriott reward members we took advantage of the daily breakfast. It was very enjoyable and included a large assortment to choose from. The dining space is very comfortable and inviting. The scrambled eggs were loose, but I thought the taste was good and ate them most mornings. The baked goods were delicious. The location was perfect for us. In a quiet neighborhood close to the Eiffel Tower and Champs Elysees. We walked to both and enjoyed strolling along the neighborhood, eating at several good restaurants in the immediate area during our stay. The Metro was close and convenient for getting to other areas. We took a day trip to Versailles and loved coming back to the area in the evening. Since we stayed during Bastille Day, we were able to get a great view of the Fireworks at the Eiffel Tower and have a late dinner afterwards, both very close to the hotel. It was a beautiful memorable night. The hotel staff was top notch. The Assistant Front Office Manager, Lyubov, was amazing. From the initial greeting to the very special surprises that ensured my wife's birthday and our first visit to Paris was memorable. Warm personable and genuine, she was pivotal to my positive experience. The Doormen, Navigators, waitstaff and housekeeping were all cheerful and pleasant. Thank you Renaissance for a Perfect Paris Holiday.

I can not say enough good things about the staff at this hotel. Everyone from the concierge, front desk, housekeeping, bartenders, doorman exceeded our expectations. Paris was not what I expected. Lots of beggars on the streets, pick pockets and overall just seemed dirty but this hotel made our visit wonderful. Beautiful rooms, very comfortable beds, beautiful courtyard, wonderful restaurant. But nothing can top the service. If you are in Paris, this is the place to say!

I am so glad that my husband and I decided to stay here on our first trip to Paris!! Not only is the hotel comfortable but the staff makes you feel right at home!! Always attentive and courteous, the staff from the bellman to the wait staff to the front desk always greeted us whether we were coming or going! The room was just right. Window opened out to the street with a view of the top of the Eiffel Tower. Bed was comfortable. Plenty of room for the two of us. Lots of closet space with shelves (room 511). The western breakfast that was served exceeded my expectations. They most certainly are accommodating to the guest. Eggs, bacon, sausage, breads, cereal juice, pastries, fruit and an amazing spread of cheeses and meats, salmon, mini waffles and crepes!!!!!! The hotel is about a ten to fifteen minute walk to the Arc de Triumph / Champs-elysees and about a ten minute walk to the trocadero , where you get a great view of the Eiffel Tower. I felt safe in the area of the city where the hotel is located and courtyard in the hotel is very cozy. If we get the opportunity to visit Paris again , we will most definitely stay here!!

Worst Renaissance yet. Put me right off.
Staff could not be bothered to help with anything.
Never anyone at the bar.
Hot water didn't work and it seemed completely random which toiletries were provided each day.

Worst of all the WIFI DIDNT WORK!!

Breakfast buffet was quite nice tho. Could've done with a selection of eggs rather than just undercooked scrambled...

It has been a few years, however the staff was wonderful. The drinks in the bar were special and great for an early pre dinner drink. Perfect location and very accommodating hotel. Friendly and welcoming staff. Super comfy rooms (ours was a quiet room that faced the courtyard garden) and the bed+breakfast rate was a great value. We would visit here again! Not ideal temperature control and shower facility in the room, but decent.

I'm a Platinum Elite member and was planning to go to the Marriott Avenue des Champes. So glad we stayed here! Charming hotel with excellent service, an intimate bar and excellent, but pricey, restaurant. Walking distance to Trocadero eateries, Eiffel tower, arc de Triomph and the Seine river cruise. If only we could reduce the number of tourists! Rooms were immaculate, but the shower was made for midgets..typical. Loved the staff friendliness. Will return.

Great hotel and great upmarket location close to all the sites. Not that cheap but a perfect case of 'you get what you pay for' ie good.
Also blows away the myth of rude Parisians as service from Luc (maitre d) and Sophie (reception) was excellent.
We'll be back.

Great hotel, well located between the Arc of Triumph and Eiffel Tower in a nice area of Paris. It looks more like a boutique hotel, small cosy rooms with nice details. There is a nice garden.
Problem is that internet is only free in the lobby.
