restaurant. From check-in to check-out, Solamar San Diego Hotel is the equivalent of calm waters and sunny skies in downtown San Diego.

Located 3 miles from San Diego's Lindberg Field Airport, Solamar San Diego Hotel is adjacent to the Gaslamp Quarter's historical architecture, eclectic shopping and
premier dining establishments. Solamar San Diego Hotel is also steps from the San Diego Convention Center, Petco Park and trendy East Village and the

The room and other amenities were nice. We used one of the conference rooms for our company's annual retreat, which worked out well, and the food they catered was good. The only issue was that the halls on my floor and the room smelled a bit like stale smoke.

The staff at this hotel are amazing and they took such good care of our extended family. Check in was seamless, they even let us check in a little early and check out a little late, which was so helpful to our travels. Little treats for the children, as well as the grandparents. Frank made us feel so at home and our trip extra special, thank you Frank! Would highly recommend.

I must say I really enjoyed my stay at Solamar. The staff was so friendly and always helpful when needed. It’s located right in the heart of the Gaslamp district and close to so many wonderful restaurants. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Great location and wonderful reception. Housekeeping diligently cleaning up all day.

But, pillows were too flimsy, bedsheets too rough for me. Couldn’t sleep for the few nights I stayed there. Also, I left my $50 phone charger plugged in on my bedside table by mistake, but they never found it apparently. So there goes that.

We had to leave a day early because we got a call from our petsitter that our hot water heater was leaking. Geraldine was so amazing and comped our parking and gave us several other credits on our bill, which she didn't have to. We were so grateful! The rooms were spacious, clean and very comfortable. We will definitely stay there again. Thank you!!
