Very nice resort.
After arriving in Key West at another "resort" :-( we were feeling really...disgusted for both the place and the other guests. So we decided to find us a better place to stay. And, good for us, we booked at the Southernmost. Starting from the booking, personnel was really nice and helpful and we finally got a superior 2 queen beds w/partial ocean view. A very nice room, very well fitted, large bath w/separate WC, a nice balcony, 20 meters from the ocean. Ok the sea wasn't exactly what we were expecting (due to the "iced latte" colour and the seaweeds) and the main pool is a little small but the beach is great and the athmosfere very relaxing. We really enjoyed ourselves there. Definitely worth the price.

We had a great stay this week. Grear views and locale. Our room overlooked the first pool that had it's own patio, enjoyed reading there every morning. We walked to breakfast and dinner every day. Shores pool/bar was our favorite. Look forward to seeing Heather and Maria again this fall. Housekeeping was great too. Thank you!

Staff was amazing. Very attentive. Location is good however it should be noted it's at the opposite end of all the restaurants and retail shops of Duval Street. Walking distance to Duval Loop free bus. Property is very well kept. Went as a couple. Got complimentary upgrade to the larger rooms and away from families (children).

The staff was wonderful and very friendly. Resort was beautiful and clean. I loved the bathrooms with great shampoo, conditioner, soap, and lotion complementary. The shower was upscale and great. They have three well taken care of pools and the ocean views are the best. Lots of places on there property to find a relaxing ocean view. Just a block from the Southern most point. Right on Duvaul St for easy walking of the strip. Eat breakfast a half block down at The Conch and Cuban Cafe. They are reasonably priced, best breakfast, Cuban coffee, sandwiches and the people running it are lovely.

Nice sprawling property with several pools and a beautiful deck overlooking the ocean; shore bar he good food and drinks, service was very good as well.
However, my room was extremely small and dark with loud wall-in AC unit! The whole place felt damp. The room was so small that as soon as you open the door from outside you face the bed; I am glad that I was only staying here for 1 night. Even NYC has larger hotel rooms. Also when I first checked in, my room key wasn’t working and they had to call maintenance person to have the lock fixed. I had to wait for him outside of my room in 90 deg heat. Front desk personnel was abrupt and not very welcoming. Overall, not what I was expecting from a 4 star resort. Unfortunately, there is no 5star resort in the entire key west that I know of. Will not be staying here again.

My wife and I really enjoyed our time here. I paid extra for the room with a partial ocean view. It was worth every penny. The grounds are very well kept. The staff were all very friendly and made you feel welcomed. I will definitely recommend this resort to anyone who wants to travke to Key West.

Lovely resort with 3 pools, 2 bars/food, small beach, and restaurant. A need for 2 parties to change rooms due to mold/mildew and awful smell from thru-wall A/C units. Small rooms with inflated pricing. Experienced monetary room theft (1 of 2 Keys' resorts in 2 weeks). Keep everything and all in room safe! Otherwise, friendly and courteous staff!! Two of the best 'Shore Bar' female personnel we've ever met!

This place is amazing! From the staff to the amenities and the cleanliness of the resort. I couldn’t have asked for a better experience. Huge thanks to Tim at the front desk for taking care of us when we arrived. My wife and I were on our Honeymoon and This was the perfect place!

Very nice place, but make sure you check your room good when checking in. My floor was still sandy. Had on white socks that turned black and found hair in the floor. Staff was very nice and helpful. Word of warning, if you have a vehicle it will cost 25.00 per day for parking. Also when you book your stay, make sure you read about the extra charges. You will be charged approx 39.00 per day plus tax. This is not included when you book the room. The pool was great, the cafe was outstanding. Three ☆☆☆ is the max I would give only because of the room floor at the beginning.

Amazing experience. Beautiful grounds and resort. There are numerous buildings so make sure you book what you are looking for. Love the pools, live entertainment, drinks and snacks. Afternoons they go around with fruit slice and icees... nice touch! Great location. Able to access ocean via their beach which is a huge plus. Zach at front desk was very friendly and helpful with our upgrade. There is no elevator in Building C, just a heads up. Only two floors but lugging suitcases, etc. was a challenge. Just a suggestion for the resort...allow the drapes to close over window in front of window seat to block outside lights. Shades don't quite cover fully. Would be an easy rod install. Cannot wait to go back. Thanks for a great anniversary!

Husband and I stayed here for our anniversary, and also our last big getaway before baby arrives in August. This place is in a quiet corner of Key West, yet within walking distance of all the restaurants and bars on Duval. The property is beautiful, staff is very nice, and our overall stay was quiet and relaxing. Will be returning again 😊

The pool party during fantasy fest was enjoyable. Make reservations 1 year in advance to ensure that you get a room. Very popular. Fills up quick. I found the parking lot to be a tight fit. The room and service was good.

Great room, great staff and concierge desk who will go above and beyond to make your stay as memorable as possible. 3 beautiful pools, a great tanning beach. Most important, right on Duval St close to beaches, attractions, restaurants, and retail shops. We will definitely be coming back again next year for our anniversary again!

Stayed in the Ocean Front Suite and had a great time. The only draw back was that I was on the 5th floor and it's actually like the second floor and really close the crowds walking to the beach and directly under a bar. I would suggest that if you stay in Building B, ask for a higher floor. Otherwise, it's a clean hotel with nice rooms, impeccable views, possibly the only nice beach, with multiple pools, and in a great spot. The only reason I didn't give it 5 stars is because it offers no Vegan food whatsoever, so you always have to go out unless you eat meat. Even the vegetarian option is slim because it's just 1, pizza. If you're Vegan, head to the The Cafe just off Duval

First time visit. It is better than Cancun, Mexico. Life is how ever you want it to be. Some of the ladies that bartend can be a you know what at times, if your drinking like we did. They will refuse to serve you. In my opinion I think they should not be telling others how to drink if they are around others who is taking care of their family. I loved this place and would be returning eventually.

If location location location is your primary goal it's a good place to stay. Beach is so so plus it's shared with the public but the lounge chairs were provided along with umbrellas. EXTREMELY pricey but I suppose that's why they consider it a so-called resort. Have never stayed anywhere that didn't provide free coffee but the only free (tongue in cheek because you do PAY for it) was in the room via a micro coffee maker. Service was good and nice friendly staff. Room was above average but stayed in better for less, a LOT less. If we weren't at the southernmost part of the continental USA I would give it two 🌟.

We stayed at the hotel last week, and chose them because of the location and beach advertised. The room was very nice , up to date and cleaned well every day. The beach advertised on web site they have open to the public. There was women sun bathing topless on beach , and way to crowded for kids to play on. The only bit of beach that is private for hotel has a large sea wall to keep people out of water. 1 of the pool heaters were broke and pool was ice cold. The ocean view rooms are a joke. You look out and have to look at the other buildings. Definitely not worth what we paid for. We have been at many very nice hotels , and would not recommend this one.

If I could give Southernmost Resort a 10 I would!! We stayed here for our honeymoon at the Dewey House - which is more of a bed and breakfast feel to it. It was right on the beach, but still felt secluded enough, with breakfast and lunch served right off of our porch every day! The staff was more than courteous and helpful the entire stay. It was a world class resort experience! It is in the quiet part of Key West which is not a far walk from all the fun, but still when you return back to the resort it's a perfect spot to rest and call it a night.

Southernmost on the Beach is by far the Best Resort and restaurant Property I've stayed at during my 25+ visits to my key of choice. Amazing accommodations, great pool with side bar, Cafe and Restaurant literally 20' from the ocean, built in the sand. One of the best happy hour breakfasts and afternoon delights on the island. Hammocks everywhere, shuttles to focal points, entertainment, a concierge for everything. Great discounts for booking early and for return guests. I used to stay at the Mallory Park end of Duval, but this is so more private and pristine. Recommend 100%

My wife and I stayed for a long weekend excursion in the middle of February to escape the snow and cold back home. We truly enjoyed ourselves and were rewarded with 5 sunny 80 degree days (the sun is pretty strong here, so be prepared). The hotel was clean, the staff friendly and it was a comfortable place to stay with many things to do both on and near the premises. The only down side for us was going downtown to where all the attractions are. Initially we walked, but after several back and forth trips we rented bikes in the lobby to get around town. There are lots of things to do in Key West and many fun things to enjoy for the young and old alike. We will be coming back to this resort in the future.

Got a dark little room at a premium price. It was loud and dark. Housekeeping didn't manage to get to the room between 9am and 4pm. The location is great, the staff friendly (some speak English, others not so much). The beach cafe served delicious food at a reasonable price where's as parking and resort fee comes to a total of $60 a day which seems far from earned - even for Key West.

Our 2nd time here (first time was last year around this time for our honeymoon) and it was even better than our first visit. Staff is great, resort is beautiful and it's in a perfect location. Make sure to take advantage of the tanning pier that stretches out into the ocean.

A tip: if you're going out on Duval, the side closest to the resort tends to be the most low-key, with small wine/rum bars that are quiet and relaxing, which is more our style. The farther you walk down Duval, it tends to get more crowded with louder bars.

This is my second trip with my husband and it's absolutely glorious. Everything about this resort is accommodating. The best part is how delightfully friendly everyone is. There isn't a sad face here. Aside from the extreme accommodation, its proximity to Duval and everything else to love about Key West is in walking distance or Uber distance if you so choose. There are bikes to rent, pools, bars, a pier, activities and beyond enough to do if venturing out isn't your thing. Southernmost has generated memories I will carry for a lifetime. See you next year.

We stayed here for a quick trip. Highly recommend, very clean and nice resort. They didn't kick us out of the pool even though it was past the hours of operation like some hotels do.

Stayed for a week-long working vacation. First let me say there is no evidence there was a hurricane last year. Nice place and in great shape. The resort’s conference room isn’t huge but is good for modest sized groups (as long as they aren’t chainsaw trimming palm trees above!). Loved the Beach Cafe (Anastasia and Chris were awesome bartenders!) and the fish sliders at happy hour. Staff all seem to care about customers having a good stay.

Our stay was wonderful. We had a King sized deluxe room which was perfect. Our favorite place to hang was the hammocks by the ocean (Don't worry, the bar is close and they have live entertainment throughout the day) The concierge was incredibly helpful with making reservations and recommendations. We will absolutely be back.

They have a nice menu with beautifully prepared and presented dishes. Good selection of healthy items and exquisite seafood dishes. Well made cocktails. And a gorgeous ocean view. There is only sand and other guests between you and the Atlantic Ocean.

It's the most traditional and comfy beach you'll find in Key West. It's not huge, but it's very clean, exactly what you're looking for. They have chairs, umbrellas, I’ve stayed there for 5 days definitely would recommend this hotel to anyone most of all I would like to thank MICHAL KOPROVSKI who works on the beach he made sure we had chairs umbrellas on the beach everyday ...

I would give it a 4 or 5 stars but our positive experience at Key West was outside this resort. Rooms are clean, concierge provided great service but couple of staff were practically racist! The follow up call from Managment was patronizing! That prompted me to give 2 stars! I will look at other options next time

We ate breakfast here every day that we were in Key West. It's within walking distance of both Casa Marina and The Reach. They serve a different quiche every day. They also offer multiple Benedict options using different sauces, adding in crab and shrimp to the basic recipe. Yummy!!!

Service was good. Price was great. Perfect for a family with a small child (7 yrs) due to the 3 x pools (although the smallest is adult only) and access to the adjacent beach where the sea is warm and chairs are complimentary. The beach based restaurant is also pretty good for all meals. Although the hotel is at the south end of Duval St, there are a number of excellent restaurants and cafes within easy walking distance - try the side streets.
