We had a pleasant stay at this clean, we'll kept hotel. At the included breakfast, I was able to find several gluten-free options and the staff was very helpful. They also had games and movies available to borrow and a library where you could take or leave books. It was right next to the Corning Museum of Glass Welcome Center and a short walk to the Gaffer's District, Heritage Village, and anywhere we wanted to go in the town of Corning.

My family absolutely loved this hotel. We had a 2 bedroom suite that was perfect for a family of 4. 2 separate bathrooms and 2 separate bedrooms plus a living room and full kitchen. Great room with lots of space. Great free breakfast with both hot and cold food choices. Plenty of seating for the breakfast. Highly recommended especially if going to the Glass museum - very close and can take a free bus/trolley to the glass museum.

Location is great! Very close to the Corning Museum of Glass. Rooms are in pretty good shape. Only minor issues that anyone would expect to see from normal wear and tear. Pool was decent. Hot tubbalwasnt very hot, though. Initially had issued with checking in, but eventually the girl at the desk decided to get us into our room without the keys so we could get settled in. She had to get ahold of the general manager in order to figure out how to check us in because their connection for processing credit cards was down. She ended up upgrading our room, so that worked out. Then had an issue with our room cards, but after getting new ones and one of those didn't work, I realized it was probably the magnetism of my phone in the same pocket that was wiping the cards. The hot buffet breakfast was good. Scrambled eggs, sausage, bagels, make your own huge waffles, etc. Bed was pretty comfy. I liked how the shower had adjustable pressure.

The hotel has great amenities that we enjoyed like the pool and basketball court. The business center was really nice as we needed to fax a few documents. The great room is very large, plenty of seating at breakfast. The suite we stayed in was clean and well stocked. When we checked in the clerk was very polite, even asked if we needed a crib for our baby. The walls seemed very well insulated, not much noise from upstairs at all. Overall would definitely recommend.

I've never stayed at a hotel with a more friendly and courteous staff. Free breakfast each morning, pool and fitness center, and clean and updated rooms. Great place to stay. My wife and I celebrated our 5th year wedding anniversary and the staff could not have been friendlier. They made our stay very memorable. This place is within a close walking distance to downtown Corning and Market Street. It is also only a 20-30 minute drive to Watkins Glen and wine country off of Seneca Lake.

For someone traveling with a dog, this place couldn't be more perfect. We rented a 2-bedroom suite and it was right by the door, so running out for quick dog walks were easy, and the grounds had tons of grassy areas. Also, they were not breed restrictive, which I appreciate, and they have a little "Pet in Suite" magnet that you can put on your door when you go out. The staff was friendly and professional, the rooms were clean and well maintained. Perfect stay. I would go back anytime

Great hotel with very nice staff. Nice free breakfast, and on some nights they have social hour. During our stay they served a mashed potato bar, salad bar, chili, and free draft beer and wine. Nice pool area and plenty of parking. The hotel parking lot is adjacent to the parking lot of the Corning Museum of Glass, which is in walking distance. Close to downtown for restaurants or grocery stores, if you want to cook in the kitchen. We had a one bedroom room with pull out couch that was very reasonable especially with a AAA discount.

It's not bad but far from great.

Booked a 2 bedroom suite for our family stay and was expecting a little better service but first things first. The hotel is well maintained and clean with rooms nice and spacious and 2 bedroom suite has a kitchen I am guessing for the long term stays. Now that's where our problems began.

The room was by the elevator so I was expecting some noises from the hydraulic elevator moving up and down but I wasn't expecting this from the AC unit. Basically when you set a temperature I was expecting the AC unit to get the rooms to the temperature set and then maintain it there. It didn't do that it would turn on for a few seconds try to heat it up and put turn back off. The biggest problem with that unit is not the way it operates but that it is located in one of the bedrooms and it is noisy! I mean a lot.

Second problem came around 11:30pm when the kids in the room next to ours were playing something yelling at the top of their lungs and not only that but also banging on the wall, so I tried to call the front desk because I have serious doubt that the kids are able to get a room alone, but to my surprise noone was there and noone answered the phone for either front desk or housekeeping. I mean generally the hotels are supposed to be staffed 24/7 or at least have someone on call but that's not the case my wife was down by the front desk for something else and saw a notice to call "0" if noone is there, but what's the use if noone answers. When she came back she saw a neighbor from the other side of the same room banging on the door asking the kids to pipe down.

Nice place to stay. The free "evening reception" runs monday-wednesday from 5:30-7:30 and was a pleasant surprise (one entree, a salad, and beer, wine, and soda are provided). The breakfast was very good, the beds were comfy and it was quiet at night. Everyone who worked there was very friendly and the rooms were clean.

The receptionists are very friendly and helpful. They helped me get a room, information on local events, and helped resolved my concerns. The room is nice, it has a kitchenette and separate sleeping area. The lamp was not working in my room, but they fixed it quickly. It is very conveniently located by the museum of glass and the freeway. I would recommend staying here if you are in town.

A very nice place to stay in Corning. Walking distance from town. Nice apartment [definitely not a room, it was a big apartment!] Staff was friendly. Only thing I would critique is the lobby smell. It was like my grandmothers house where she had pots of potpourri all over. The scent was overwhelming.

This is a really great hotel. The pool is warm enough to swim around in comfortably and the hot tub is nice and hot and deep enough to go up to shoulders. Work out room has a few pieces, I've used the bike and it was good. Full kitchen in the room including dinnerware and full fridge. Best breakfast with the waffle maker and the rest of the options rotate between sausage and biscuits and eggs and bacon and others, with the standard continental fare too. Hotel staff is great. During the week they have dinner too and cookies at check in. The rooms have DVD players and at the front desk you can borrow movies to watch along with board games. Reasonable price and good location in Corning.

Good place to stay if traveling with little ones. One bedroom suites with a full kitchen.
Suites need a little updating in terms of appliances pots/pans; however the free breakfast and the customer service they provide which makes sure you are fully satisfy wit your stay make up for it.

Suite was OK but positives barely outweighed the negatives. Small bathroom. Uncomfortable couch. Not very sound proof. Could hear the woman in the room opposite ours across the hall talking on her cell phone. Waso louder than our TV. Staff was friendly. Breakfast was OK.

Low value for what I paid. When I pay this much for a room ($160), I'm expecting something special. It was ok. I've stayed in HIX's that were nicer.
Hotel is ok, but I expected more for the money.
I see comments on service. It was weird when we checked in it seemed the front desk was in turmoil. Confusion over which rooms were cleaned, etc. Not what I expected from a nice motel.

I stayed here for a stretch of 3 weeks for a business trip. The service was not the greatest at times but there are some on the staff that outshine others. The only problem I had with the staff is the housekeeping staff. First of all, I don;t know what their standards for housekeeping are but they don't set them high. The room I had was not great but not bad either. The bed was a little stiff for my tastes and the handle on the toilet was broken. The other thing is that the breakfast and late dinner (sundowners) didn't run long enough for someone that works night shift to enjoy any of these ammenities. Working 3pm (before sundowners) to 12:30pm (sleeping during breakfast hours). At the time I was there one of the 3 washers were broken. I had to use the local laundromat to get my clothes cleaned. THE MAIN COMPLAINT: Some of the staff that treated the customers like they were inconvieneced by them. Like the customer was in the way.
