I checked in late and missed dinner, having had a long, frustrating day of airline delays and missed flights. Lisa at the front desk was so kind! After she checked me in, she told me she'd have some dinner prepared for me. By the time I settled in and returned to the lobby, she had gone back to the kitchen and rustled up a steak, chicken and fresh fruit! Wow!
What a wonderful act of kindness for this weary traveller!! God bless you, Lisa!

Long review..Booked a month in advance for a 3 night stay . Check in at 3 pm.
After a 20 hour drive from Texas, arrived at 1 PM. Attempted to check in . THIS IS THE ONLY NEGATIVE OF THIS REVIEW. A woman, Lisa, zero customer service skills, zero.
Rooms not available until 3.
Went across street for a beer. Checked back at 3. Room still not available, another 30 minutes. HERE IS WHERE THE FIVE STAR RATING BEGINS.
LIZ-lovely young woman behind check-in. Totally understood my position. She is kind, friendly, compassionate. Apologuzed profusely. Sent someone to check on status.
CLARE- Manager. Also a great customer specialist. Apologetic, sympathetic.
Room was completed. Absolutely beautiful room. Huge bed. Clean, comfortable.
CHEYENE- When you go down for breakfast and all the food is clean and fresh, thank Cheyene. She gets there at 5 in the morning and sets up breakfast. She's pleasant, personable and takes pride in her work.
Every morning Liz made a point to say good morning.
Aside from Lisa, who I believe is the weak link, not just a bad day, I would recommend this place Everytime.
Thank you Liz, Clare, and Cheyene. See you next year.

The suite had everything we needed. We were out all evening at the Blues Festival which was fantastic. When we got to the suite we wanted a cold beverage. We didn't realize that there aren't icemaker's available because the suite' s have icemaker in the refrigerator. We didn't start the icemaker when we checked in because we were in a hurry. The desk clerk helped us out with a big Ziploc bag of ice. That work because there was only two of us. My point maybe the hotel could start the icemaker's in reserved suites.

I stayed at this hotel in April of 2018 and was very pleased with my stay However this time around the place was not as clean and there were several construction workers who were very loud and left a lot of garbage and such out in the hallways. The patio area was also left somewhat messy and other people did not want to congregate out in that area during that time. I truly like this place, the rooms are very nice and very accommodating however the walls need to be cleaned and the tile could use a good scrubbing. Continental breakfast was really good.

Stayed here for my daughter's dance competition. Fantastic place to stay! Staff was incredible! We requested to be close to another mom's room and Hunter was able to make that happen at check-in! Breakfast was fantastic too with so many options! Ran out of chocolate milk and a young gentleman named Bryson gladly got us some more. It was very busy that sunday morning, but he went out of his way to help us! Great service! We will stay here whenever we are in town!

Love to come here. They have 2 pools so the kiddie pool is great if you have small ones. But the best is they have bbqs you get to use to bbq your own meal .

We were here for New Years with some friends. We had visited 3 years ago when the hotel was almost brand new. The breakfast was full of options, with most common breakfast foods available. Our room was large and clean, the beds were very comfortable and the pillows were far nicer than most hotels. The pool was never full, but the room is very echoy and loud so it was hard to talk with friends while in the pool area. We will be back again.

I had a huge test in the morning so I asked for a quiet room, I was placed just above the pool area with a see through curtain covering the bright lights from the pool which didn’t shut off til midnight and then pool cleaning started. Then breakfast was 30 minuets late because the cook was running late and after they finally opened the doors no food would be available for another 15 minuets. Crazy

This is a nice hotel in a very convenient location. I didn't like our room layout as much this stay as compared to our previous visits, perhaps because it was an "end" room ending in -00. One of the beds was only inches from the window. Previously that wasn't a problem. The free breakfast was good, although it was busy and the staff was busy refilling items as they ran out. Free WiFi is also appreciated. Two TVs let us watch different programs in the living and sleeping areas.

8

Nice clean place and allows dogs. Thought the $50 for one night to keep the dog was a little high, but can understand the extra cost. Charge by size but a little dog is able to cause the same amount of cleaning issues as a large dog. Thought check personal could have been a little more professional in their approach.

Very nice hotel. Big rooms, full kitchen, separate bedroom and living room. Monday thru Wednesday there's free dinner with drinks. Free breakfast every morning. Convenient location near the Allerus Center. WiFi was very good for a hotel. It would be nice if all the TV channels were HD.

5

It was a nice room. The only thing was we went done for breakfast, which was really good but then the workers decided to take it away. It was close to breakfast being done. The workers then put it all on there own plate and came out and ate it themselves while some guest just came down to get breakfast. Find it extremely rude.

We stay at the Staybridge Suites everytime we visit Grand Forks and we never once had issues with our stay. Staff are friendly and always made sure we had everything we need. The manager also noticed we had our 2 year old son in the kiddie pool and had asked if we would like the water temperature increased as so he wouldn't get cold.

Pros: Attractive, nice features, not as expensive as some of the larger hotels. The pool was adequate and the complementary breakfast was very nice. Layout of the family suite was very nice. The courtyard was interesting. Comfortable beds. Good location. Cons: Room was not completely clean: old chewing gum was on side of the coffee table/stool, what appears to be dried pizzas sauce on a chair. The edges of the laminate flooring in the kitchenette are cracked and peeling, and in our room some of the doors do not close properly. The walls and ceiling are very thin - could hear everything in surrounding rooms. Room smelled damp, like wet drywall when we entered. Seemed to have a slight air of disrepair in the room.

Staybridge Suites is right across from the Aleris center. Great place to stay. We had a king size bed in a suite with kitchen and den. Great pools. One for the kids in which they enjoyed themselves. Breakfast that morning was ham and eggs. They also had the usual waffles and other stuff.

The room was immaculately clean and spacious. The location was notably convenient. The continental breakfast had a plethora to pick from and its quality was vastly superior compared to most hotels I have occupied. The staff were perfectly, but not overly, affable. The pool was enjoyable, and there was an abundance of clean and dry towels to leave you without worry. The next occasion that has me in Grand Forks overnight, I am going to bring my business back here.

I'm a frequent guest here. Staff is always great, love the suites, breakfasts are good, pool area is usually good (one time the hot tub was not working but only once of many stays). Nice equipment in the fitness center. One thing I notice as a frequent guest is that no matter what time I show up, the room is never ready. This is perfectly fine if I show up early (and once when I arrived at noon they were able to ready a suite within an hour, which was above and beyond). My most recent visit I got there at 3:45, still no room ready, even though check in is at 3:00. We left and came back an hour later, they said it was ready but we got upstairs to find the maid apologizing because she still had to run down to laundry to get towels for us. And the next morning, bright and early at 9, housekeeping was tapping on the door to see if they could clean? *sigh* Other than the weird housekeeping, it's good. You get quite a bit for the money. Great for family gatherings.

This is the nicest hotel in all of Grand Forks and I have stayed at most of them.
The staff is very friendly and the place is new and spotless. Great selection on the free breakfast and evening snack are outstanding.
The rooms are gorgeous and beds are very comfortable.

I recommend the Stay Bridge to all my business friends and stay there when I'm in need a place.
