The rooms were very nice and the staff was very friendly and helpful. The only issue we had were with our room keys refusing to work. We went through 8 keys to get 2 working ones.

We LOVE this hotel.

My family and I stay at this hotel every year.

We use the hotel as our base to visit Orange County friends, visit Disnelyand, beach, restaurants, and we love to sit at pool enjoying food and drinks while kids swim and play basketball.

Power went out at night, air conditioning broke the same night. Manager came and checked it out, and replaced the room. Speedy response to issue is leaving me pretty satisfied so far.

Slab Leak forces us to temporarily relocate. I can honestly say that this hotel and staff have made our stay more than comfortable. The rooms, grounds, pool, spa, gym and buffet area are very clean and we'll kept.

Very, very nice Staybridge Suites! Great location in the Irvine area. The rooms are very nice and clean. We inspected the bed and the floors, and they were very clean...no trash or debris. The following morning we had the hot breakfast, and it was really good. They had lots of standard cold breakfast foods & drinks, along with hot items like sausage links and scrambled eggs. The nice surprise was the addition of miso soup and rice! Very cool accommodation especially for the Asian guests. We will definitely stay there again!

Staff was very friendly. The place was quiet, clean rooms, kitchenette, and spacious bathrooms. Breakfast included AND weeknights they have dinner included as well. We had a “fish and chips” buffet which included a salad bar. It was a nice surprise! Included some great beverage choices, soda, juices, and 21+ options. 20-30 minutes drive to Disney, but I Will be staying here again if I’m in the area

It's an older hotel based on the dated kitchen appliances, but the room was very clean and has a nice layout. You can hear people walking in the room above you, but it's not too bad. The beds are pretty comfortable and the newly refreshed bathroom is very nice.

This place is awesome for the price you pay. We're here for Thanksgiving week and it's absolutelt perfect for our family. Spacious rooms, excellent areas to lounge, and better food than any of the dozens of places I've ever stayed that offer free food. We'll be back next time we come visit family.

I have nothing but praise for this location and I am definitely a bit of a hotel snob. We loved the FREE breakfast you don't normally find real eggs on the free breakfast buffet. FREE parking basketball court a lovely pool and hot tub and one thing we have had issues with at other hotels is the chair for handicapped individuals at the pool always seems to be out of order or nobody has any idea where the battery is. We have a Daughter who is in a wheelchair but is able to swim, her legs work in water so this is very important to us. She can get in but not out because of steps. The hotel maintenance staff made sure the chair was working properly and showed us how to operate it. We missed out on socials and happy hours but I can only imagine how much fun they are. It is off the beaten path but there are plenty of shopping and dining locations right down the road. I will definitely be returning when we take our family vacations.

This is exactly what a hotel should be. I've stayed at many IHG properties, domestically and internationally, and this is one of the best. A little far from LA attractions, but worth the drive. Great breakfast buffet and even an included dinner with free beer and wine. Breakfast even had cans of Coke products on ice! This place gets me.

Here for work- 5 nights stay. The service was professional, not a 5 star hotel but that isn't expected out here. The decor isn't modern, but it is still new and clean. Very convenient if you have a rental car, which I did. Microwave, full fridge and freezer, dishwasher, some countertop space. AC units can be upgraded, because it still uses one of those older models- it's quite loud. It didn't bother me because I'm an instant sleeper but could be annoying for some. Breakfast is absolutely top-notch compared to other complimentary hotel breakfasts (eggs, ham fruit, etc)

Lovely clean rooms in a beautiful new hotel! Staff is friendly and attentive and the rooms are spacious and comfy. The hotel location is a bit far for those wanting to spend time in L.A. unless you want to spend a considerable amount of time in heavy traffic. Overall it is a great place!

A little bit of a confusion when checking in because they were sold out, however, staff were very helpful and made sure everything was sorted out. We stayed here for 4th of july weekend. It is about 40 minutes with traffic to the beach. A nicer part of town however be prepared to commute if you are trying to go to the city or to any attractions. Breakfast was a good variety and they changed it up every morning. The rooms were average nothing special. Family friendly hotel in a safe and quiet neighborhood.

This is a great hotel. Rooms are spacious and include a kitchenette, large bathroom, and complimentary water and popcorn. My family and I spent 4th of July weekend at Staybridge Irvine / Lake Forest. This place is perfect for those traveling with kids and/or prefer more of a homestyle experience.

Our room had a stove, coffee machine, microwave, refrigerator, flat screen TV, sink, plates, cups, utensils, and more.

We were able to grocery shop and basically use this place like a home away from home.

It's close to good shopping too.

Great hotel. Breakfast was satisfying. Large room. Two queen beds in separate bedroom. Think one bedroom apt but smaller. Have to walk through bedroom to go to restroom. that was weird. Grocery store and places to eat nearby. overall very happy with our stay.

Our church small group stayed in this suite for a short getaway/retreat from 3/27-3/29/2017. We love this place. The staffs are very helpful. The facility and service is excellent. They even provide free breakfast and dinner (Mon to Thu). Everything is far beyond our expectations.

Came to Lake Forest for a short 3 day visit. Love this hotel chain. I have 2 kids, a 4-year old and a 2-year old. They are picky about food. So i love being able to cook their favorites here using the kitchen. I dont like their pots and pans; so I actually bring my own. This is a convenient place for business travelers because they provide free breakfast , dinner, and alcohol. Nice place to relax after work. See lots of people outside relaxing in patio after dinner. Love that they have a living room with doors to bedroom. Great to put the kids to nap; while I do something else.

The room I'm in is fantastic. Cooking area, full sized fridge, and comfy clean beds. Only problem I have is the water pressure for showers is a bit weak, but this is something I've experienced in Cali, so no points off. Very friendly staff and the free breakfast is hard to beat for free. I would stay again if I'm ever in the area.

Super clean room. I am picky about my bed and pillows but I slept like a rock here, I was very comfy. It is nice to have a big walk in shower with a sliding glass door instead of an old nasty tub with scummy curtains.

Large rooms, working AC, ample parking, good breakfast, easy to find location right off CA241, great pantry to buy some snacks.

On the other hand, not impressed by the staff members. The only real human contact I had was for the check out part. The check in process was handled by a really cold person...

Beautiful hotel with everything you could ask for. My room had a full fridge and kitchen with really nice living room and bedrooms. Service was good and the hotel also had basketball which I thought was very nice. Would definitely stay again and recommend to others.

I loved staying here. The only thing is that the bedroom, which has a double door separating it from the rest of the room, has a huge crack in the middle. This means my wife and I really did not have much privacy from the kids during our vacation. This is one thing the hotel can improve on for the next customer to have a better experience

Rooms are spectacularly spacious and always cleaned. Breakfast is probably the best breakfast I've ever had a hotel, mainly because they have rice and tofu which is fantastic. Service is good but nothing to write home about. However, great overall hotel.

Terrific staff totally committed to the comfort of the guests. Blanca, Scott and Brian could not have been more helpful. Kudos to the desk manager Cleo and to Gloria the General Manager for their part in ensuring the efficiency of this hotel.

Because I had to remain in my suite for hours at a time recuperating from surgery, I can attest to the comfort of all furniture as well as the excellent lighting – a rarity in most places.

Kitchen? Think full size fridge and top freezer – even a dishwasher - and dishwasher detergent, dish detergent, dishtowels, dishcloths, and paper towels on hand, along with an extra roll under the sink. The two-burner stove is certainly sufficient for those who wish to prepare their own meals. I can’t imagine anyone passing up the free, ample breakfasts, which are certainly satisfying and varied. A complimentary Happy Hour is held on Mondays through Thursdays, but this is not just beer, wine and chips. A monthly menu is posted on the refrigerator indicating what will be served each evening along with the ever-present salad bar. As others have said, this is dinner. Seeing that lasagna was to be served one evening, I figured I would have the salad and then pull out a frozen veggie dinner from my stash in the freezer. In addition to the traditional meat lasagna, vegetable lasagna was also offered. And even more amazing was that I was told to check with the kitchen on nights that meat was being served because they just might have another option for me.

The bathroom is large with considerable storage space in the many drawers of the vanity. No slivers of soap here but generous personal bath soap with ridges so that it doesn’t slip from the hands. A privacy shower curtain lets the light in at the top and is mounted from a curved rod to allow a bit more space in the shower area. A full extra set of towels is standard. Much appreciated are the shampoo and conditioner that does not turn hair to straw.

Storage space? To meet the needs of guests who stay for months at a time, the bedroom contains a good-sized chest of drawers, as well as end tables with drawers, and another chest of drawers in the sitting room. The large closet is situated in the bathroom to make the most of the floorspace with more hangers (including those with clips for skirts) than I’ve seen in any hotel anywhere. Also in the closet are a laundry basket and ironing board and iron. Don’t care for synthetic pillows? Two feather-and-down pillows, along with an extra blanket, are on the top shelf of the closet.
What really sold me on Staybridge Suites when making my decision was the very pleasant common area where guests enjoy breakfast and happy hour. Other nearby hotels serve breakfast, not always free, in settings resembling a food court. Another enticement for me was the patio area. The website depicts tables and chairs adjacent to a small fountain but doesn’t show the additional space where there is a covered area with two barbecue grills as well as several benches near flower beds. The pool and spa is adjacent to the parking lot, but landscaping does screen this creating a pleasant space for relaxation.

The parking lot seems to be huge so parking should not be an issue. No car? No problem. The hotel provides free transport within a 5-mile radius from morning to 5:30 in the evening. Since the hotel is close to a number of corporate headquarters, I saw many people taking advantage of this perk to get to and from work. Of course, the driver will also take you to the nearby shopping centers or, as in my case, to the doctor’s office. Gina, John and Scott all were solicitous of me while driving me to my appointments and were terrific conversationalists.

They have multiple wireless access points, but the average speed is about 50k-100k. It's pathetic. If you require internet access while travelling....avoid this place.
