This hotel is a great place to stay. The rooms are spacious, comfortable, well appointed and clean. The staff was courteous and helpful. The breakfast was satisfactory, typical for hotels. I would give them a 5 star review but for the loud AC that kept waking me up during the night. Even so, I will consider staying here again.

Comfortable room, clean and an awesome staff. The desk clerk (Kimberling) was outstanding. Went over and above to help me with about couple of issues when I checked in. She got them taken care of as quickly as possible. Could not have been better.

Breakfast is really good, room was comfortable. They have a noon check out, which is nice. Pets are allowed with a small pet fee. We would come back here on our next trip to Madison.

Stayed here for about six weeks while we were working in DeForest.
The staff were wonderful and friendly.
the facilities were superb with a gym, swimming pool (although not very big but I still managed to swim lengths in it, and a spa pool/hot tub (or whatever else you like to call it) to soak in after your workout.
They also had a BBQ area with an outdoor gas fire which we made use of even when there was snow. I think they must have thought we kiwis were crazy.
There was breakfast every morning and they put on a simple dinner in the evenings monday to Thursday.
The bed were comfy and we had a 2 bedroom suite and were impressed that each room had it own TV and on-suite
There was also a TV in the lounge
I loved it and would stage here again

Good location, nice staff, good breakfast...we had a shared room for some reason (the hotel wasn't full) and the couple next to us were so loud around 10:00 pm we could hear them talking about planning the next day. Hotel staff moved us to a different room only after calling the front desk twice to complain :(

Great hotel. Very clean, plenty of room in our suite, & complimentary breakfast daily as well as dinner Monday - Wednesday (which was a nice surprise!). Not a huge pool, but it was adequate for our kids. 20 minutes from everything we did on our stay in Madison. Will definitely stay here again on our next trip.

Our family gathered here for a couple days after Christmas. There were actually 3 families with 5 children ranging in age from 4 to 17. We were very pleased with our rooms. The pool was a big hit with the kids. Everyone raved about the breakfast buffet. There were many activities close by so we could accommodate a variety of interests. Overall a great family experience.

The pool had water and the weight were heavy. Not sure why I had to share a room but my cousin insisted. I don't think he's a very good cousin but since his mother died I he won't leave me alone. Thrive stars.

The beads are like floating on clouds. The suites are very nice. Comfy couch, kitchen, a nice desk that is great if you need to work on your laptop, or whatever you use. Bathroom was large and clean, with a closet for clothes and additional pillow and blanket.

The hotel has an excellent complimentary breakfast buffet and also has an afternoon happy hour food/drink bar some nights. There is free laundry with a lot of available washers and dryers. The rooms have a full kitchen, with full size fridge which is a must for an extended stay. The living area is nice and spacious with ottomans, chairs and pull out bed. My only complaint is that the actual sleeping room is pretty small and the gym is nothing special. I stayed here for over 2 weeks during the CrossFit Games. At first I wasn't excited about the location, but It's pretty easily accessible shops around East Town Mall though. Housekeeping is good and attentive, front desk staff is always available. Might be a little slow after midnight, but that expected I think. Nice sized pool and hot tub also available 24 hours. Right across the street is a bar/ restaurant, that i'm sure gets a lot of business from the hotel. We went there as a group at least 6 times during the stay. Oh and I almost forgot the free airport shuttle to get me back home.

Friendly staff that goes out of their way for you, comfy pleasant suites, free breakfast with a nice selection even for gluten free options, free dinner/drinks Mon-Wed. (My daughter and I got a glass of wine after eating elsewhere.) Close to shopping, dining. About 15-20 minutes drive to Henry Villa's free zoo, the arboratum, and capital, so a convenient location without being in the heart of the city. Pleasant, cozy courtyard seating groups or for getting outside to be alone. Lovely landscaping. Kitchen with stove, pots/pans/dishes/utensils, microwave, full sized refrigerator. Nice cozy livingroom. A cross between a hotel and time share which makes you feel more at home while you're away from home. We'll definitely be coming back!

What a great hotel. Nice room with a kitchen and the best free breakfast I have ever had in a hotel. It had everything! I would stay here again in a heartbeat. The only small issue I had was I could hear the people above us walking. Other than that excellent!

Comfortable, clean hotel with large rooms and kitchenettes with full-sized fridge. Free breakfast includes hot items and fresh fruit, yogurt buffet. Location is on the outskirts of Madison but near the expressway, so getting into the heart of town is easy, there's just not much within walking distance. Note that the sleeper sofa is a single bed and that one bedroom suites have either a king or 2 double beds, so to comfortably sleep 4 people you may need a 2 bedroom suite.

The food for lunch was good and the rooms were nice. Our conference room had a large, noisy air conditioner or dehumidifier. We had to turn it off, but keep the door open so it wasn't too stuffy.

Loved our stay! The separate bedroom is perfect for our family. Our baby goes to bed much earlier than our older kids, so it's nice to put her in one room while we stay up to watch tv. I love the kitchenette! Stocked with just the right necessities. Leah at the front desk was amazing! We got in late, and she gave us some milk from the kitchen for our baby's bottle. She's awesome!! The pool is open 24-7! To all ages! The breakfast was sooo good. Everything anyone could ever need! If we ever stay in Madison again, we will definitely stay here.

This hotel is reasonably well appointed with pleasant staff and OK rooms. We stayed there on New Year's Eve, so there were signs posted everywhere about no parties and no loud noise. That didn't stop some kids from running up and down the hallways outside our room. I said something to them which seemed to work, but the loud noises started up again from 10:30 until midnight when I called the front desk again to complain. Our noisy ice maker also kept me up all night, and there was very little room for our crib with the fold out sofa set up. We ended up putting the crib in the closet, which was awkward. I ran the dishwasher in the morning and had to leave the room because it was SO LOUD. The hot breakfast in the morning was missing many items, despite an hour remaining until the end of breakfast.

Many of my complaints can be chalked up to New Year's Eve celebrations, but more are due to the way this hotel is run. We would probably stay here again and have a better time on a different day of the year.

Beautiful hotel with great service (free hot breakfast, pool, Jacuzzi, small outdoor basketball hoop). The rooms are cozy and feel like home, ours had a single queen bed, sectional couch, and a kitchenette with a full size fridge/freezer, sink, dishwasher, small cooktop, microwave, and place settings, toaster, cups, etc.

The hotel is 3 stories and located in a nice and quiet area just off of East Washington/Hwy 151. Close access to restaurants, stores, and main roads.

Lovely hotel! The rooms were clean and felt really homey. You didn't feel like you needed to be careful of everything you touched. The staff were helpful and the front desk was able to offer us good auggestions on things in the area.

We were able to also bring our large dog, which was a huge factor in us staying there. I only wish they had a designated location for pet waste, as I had a little trouble finding an outdoor trashcan to dispose bagged poop in.

The manager was more than accommodating but the hotel was going through some remodeling. While the rooms are beautiful, there weren't enough clean rooms. The specific room we got had some rough edges. Neither tv had a remote that was setup to adjust the channels properly and overall it felt unfinished.

But the service was top notch and the finished parts of the hotel were beautiful.

My wife and I would stay again once all the work was done.

My family and I spent two nights at Staybridge during a Badger Football weekend, and therefore very busy. The facilities are recently renovated, likely within the past year or two, and thus everything was in good condition. This is especially true for the price.

The bed was comfortable, everything clean and comfortable.
The breakfast spread exceeded expectations, and greatly appreciated.

The fitness facility was really the only aspect of the hotel lacking. A cable weight machine, a cycle and a couple of treadmills. I would really like to see a set of free weights and a bench. Otherwise, sufficient. The pool was pleasant, good condition, and my kids had a great time.

The location is not the greatest, being not as readily accessible to sites and destinations of the City or Region, but is reasonably accessible off the highway.

Staybridge met or exceeded my expectations. I would return.

My fiance and I stayed here a couple months ago and I can't believe I didn't review until now.
Here are my thoughts:
1. Michelle at the front desk was probably the best customer service person EVER. She was friendly, professional and always made sure we were comfortable. She seemed to know every guest by name.
2. I love that the hotel is pet friendly.
3. Wine and beer with the dinner during social nights? That is awesome and way above what I would expect at a hotel.
4. I've never stayed at an extended stay hotel, so I'm not sure if they all have the same amenities, but I thought our room was stocked well and included all the necessities.

We loved our experience enough that we chose Staybridge for our block of rooms for our wedding.
