Great location and within in 20 minute walk of Bourbon Street. Great shopping at Canal Place. Front desk allowed us to check in one hour early and gave us a late check out time. Fantastic room and the free breakfast is fantastic. This hotel is also right across the street from Mother's restaurant, a New Orleans foundation. Restaurant since 1938. Everyrhing and I mean everything worth doing is very accessible from this Place.

I love this hotel! The rooms are great and very spacious. They're also really clean! We are in the heart of the city so we're surrounded by things to do. The only reason I gave 4 stars is because of one of the staff,George, at the front desk. He was very rude to my friend and I when we went to ask for help with directions, therefore I would avoid him. Other than that, I would definitely recommend this hotel if you're looking for a nice stay while in NOLA.

First time is NOLA! This hotel was great for our girl's trip. The staff are super friendly from receptionist to the people who work in the kitchen and housekeeping. And they are quick and hardworking. You can tell this place cares about its customers. The room was equipped with more than I was expecting for the price we paid.

Spacious suite in good location. Room was clean with fridge and microwave. A little slow to make the room, but that was not important to me. Front desk was helpful and pleasant. Free breakfast was good but I did not come to NOLA to ear here. I would not dissuade you from eating the breakfast. For those on a budget, it was good.

I rented a one bedroom suite. The best thing about the hotel was certainly the staff; everyone was incredibly friendly and helpful. The room itself is fine, could use an update. The room showed signs of aging, especially in the bathroom. The complimentary breakfast was pretty typical. Walking distance to the convention center! A good deal given the space.

This place was a great place to stay. We had off the street parking for a fee. The Food was great. Breakfast is not a typical hotel breakfast.the free wine and beer with dinner is a bonus. Walking distance to all lines of public transportation. This will always be my go-to for the big easy.

Got a suite. 2 bedrooms, 2 full bathrooms, a kitchenette,( that included a fridge (with ice maker) sink, cabinets, dishes glassware and silverware, and dishwasher),and a cute little commons area. All the rooms were spacious, clean, and relaxing. We took advantage of the hotel's free laundry machines. The kitchenette came in handy for ice water replenishment and our leftovers. The two bedrooms were far enough apart that the children in one room weren't bothering the family in the other bedroom. Very friendly and accommodating staff. So helpful with all our needs. Walking distance to the French Market. Too many restaurants and bars to mention, all within walking distance. Street car pick up stops just a couple blocks away, depending on which direction you want to go. I would stay here again. This hotel helped make our wonderful.

I will definitely be back to this hotel. The staff was amazing!!! Accommodating is from a VERY LONG drive, allowing us an opportunity to check in early. I have to commend them for this!!! The rooms were very spacious, great view (it wasn't just the side of another brick wall). The location is within walking distance to a lot of activities downtown. Its away from the noise but I still felt safe even walking at night. The breakfast was great! I travel a lot and this is by far one of the most politely staffed hotel and great value for its location.
Parking price is extra for the garage parking but we parked in the street and was completely safe. Hotel and area security patrolled all night.

Overall, my stay was good. Room faced the street, 2nd floor, but seldom heard any noise. Street is fairly quiet at night. Breakfast bar was complete. I got pancakes just to watch the automatic pancake machine: push one button get two pancakes. However, Mother's is right across the street, almost always a line but worth it.

Negatives: picky negatives ...some, not all, front desk personal seem to be holding back anger, irritation because I asked for 1 towels for 1 additional person. In spite of negative attitude, I did get more than what I needed quickly; a stack of 6 towels. One employee confided their trouble getting more front desk employees, so they are working extra and it's wearing on them.
I would stay there again.

This was a fantastic hotel! The staff was very helpful and friendly. The hotel was very clean and well maintained. My only issue would be how tight the turn into the parking garage was because somebody parked where they weren't supposed to right in front of the entrance down a one way street. I will definitely be staying here aging though!

Great location in NOLA blocks from French Quarter and the convention center. The rooms are well-equipped with a full size refrigerator, dishwasher, sink and even a stove. Pillows and bed and comfortable. Really appreciated the free breakfast and the social hour with drinks. The jambalaya was wonderful!

Front doors aren’t automatic so if you have more than one bag and traveling by yourself just getting into the hotel is hard. Shower water pressure was non existent. Thermostat didn’t work and they tried to fix it and just said sorry so I was either hot or freezing the whole time. Free breakfast was pretty good and they have free laundry facilities. Beds were comfortable though the pillows were flat. Self Parking was expensive and the spaces were tiny. Pool looked ok but very small.

The rooms were fairly large. Each mini sure has a range, fridge, microwave, sink. Complementary popcorn. Beds were comfortable. The hotel was actually fairly quiet, be especially for a New Orleans hotel. The hotel is right across the street from tourist restaurant Mother's. Sorry walk to the French quarter and the Riverwalk. Unfortunately, the furniture was old and looked it. Carpets seemed pretty dirty. Hotel feels well worn. Staff was friendly and I have no complaints about my stay. Would have given five stars if the furniture and carpets felt newer.

Here in New Orleans with my daughter. We're both very happy with the room. Mattresses r very comfortable, kitchenette is very nice & has complete set of pans & dinnerware for four. The bathroom is normal, sink & countertop are outside of bath area. We give them a five. (and the food is great!)

Room is very spacious! This is the only good point. Breakfast is just good, furniture is outdated. Especially, a bed is too old to have a good sleep because of a noise and a mattress. I cannot have a good sleep. Location is another good point.

Very nice hotel. We stayed at 14th floor. Room had it's own kitchen with large microwave, full size fridge, electric range and even dishwasher. Kitchen cabinets had glassware etc. Hotel has its own private pool, maybe 5ft on deep end. Breakfast is close to continental. Only one of the two elevators were working and it was Easter weekend so there were lots of waiting and some customers were not happy. Staff was very helpful with the situation. Hotel provides private parking space with closed gates which was very handy. We were able to spoon our full size extended SUV there, lol.

I I perform delivery for Postmates in New Orleans and this is one of the easiest stops I have made I have been here once to visit her friend and a several times to deliver food and I like that the lobby is discreet and clean I can park my bike inside without anyone noticing and I'm not bothered by the hotel staff when I need to get up stairs to drop off food. Not the fanciest hotel but I believe it has some historic value. very quiet.

This is my second stay. The king suite was nice but there is no chest or drawers in the bedroom to put your clothes that you do not hang in the closet. Only 5 hangers. The bed was great, comfortable bedding. My husband wants this mattress now. Close to everything in the French Quarter, without all of the noise. Be careful in the parking lot as the upper level has a hump that scrapped the bottom of my car. Park on the first two levels.

Very cute and modern rooms that are a good size for 1 to 2 people. Our room has a kitchen with fridge and stove. Nice shower and bathroom. Bedroom is separate from living room and kitchen. Really nice. Continental breakfast and dinner and drinks Monday to Thursday.

We're staying at this Staybridge Suites while visiting some family. Overall we really like the hotel. We've been able to walk to the aquarium and the children's museum. The free internet and free breakfast are also nice. There was a small issue with the room not being ready when we checked in but they waved the parking fee to make up for it. I also like the close proximity to Mother's across the street.

The hotel provided complimentary breakfast in the mornings. While not centrally located to attractions, walking to the attractions was not long as it allowed you to see the city. The rooms were adequate, however, our key card kept malfunctioning throughout our stay. We had to go down to ask for new card on 5 separate occasions. They had an engineer "fix" the problem but it continued. We overheard two separate couples complain about the same key card issue. Also, the rooms aren't cleaned often. My understanding is you had to request your room to be cleaned.

Location is Great!
Not clean, my rug is full of sticky spots.
The bed frame is full of dust.
Toilet overflooded all over the floor yesterday morning and
I have yet not received cleaning service in spite of requesting it about 6 times.
I had to buy my own cleaning supplies so .u 2 kids don't walk over poop.
If you like to stay in a hotel for it's comfort a.d service this is not the place. You are on your own.
Understaffed on Newyears.

Not a satisfied party of 11!

Hotel is in good location within decent walking distance of most of what you want to see in the French Quarter. We had a suite in the tower that is connected to the parking garage and shares elevators with parking garage. There are only a few rooms on each floor on this tower. Several times there were people blowing there horns inside the garage on our floor which was very loud in our suite. Our suite was well equipped with fridge, ice maker, table, two tv's and couch, Our suite was clean and had everything we needed. We were traveling with a fairly large group and some of our travel companions reported roaches in there rooms in the other tower. Our overall experience was good and I would stay here again in the tower we were in.

Sky-scraping hotel in the heart of the French Quarter. Scenic downtown views, proximal to major tourist attractions and clean, comfortable rooms are the main pros. The overwhelming cons are the insane $40 per day parking fees and the shark tow companies that circle the lot. The painful parking experience really muddled the enjoyment of our stay. Perhaps the hotel should try to work with the city to find a better parking arrangement for its customers, who are already paying an arm and a leg just to have a room where the action is.

Do not stay here if you have allergies! They are pet friendly (which is great!) but not when your eyes swell up and you can’t breathe when you wake up. It is more of a low economy, out-dated place for someone working temporarily in the area for a few weeks. PASS

Very accommodating of the evacuees from South Florida and even waived our pet fee because of it. Staff was friendly and the hot breakfast was very good. Elevators weren't working properly through most of our stay and bottom floor of staircase was locked so it wasn't an option. Able to walk to several tourist locations from here.

I was able to evacuate Florida with my kid and my dog without a dog fee which was nice. The price was reasonable and the rooms are not bad at all. Some staff were incredibly nice but most had a flat, unfriendly affect that would have worked in New York but was weird for New Orleans. There was a used shampoo bottle in the tub when we got there. But there is parking and a 24 hour necessities store and breakfast and I think they have happy hours during the week. I would come back.

Rooms are fine but not luxurious. Lock on door needs repair, stains on one of bed aprons and curtains. Has full fridge, ice maker, microwave, half stove, and small sink. Location was great for my purposes. Within walking distance of business training and pretty much everything the French Quarter has to offer for reasonable price. Free happy hour in evening and pretty descent complimentary breakfast.

I didn't went to the pool , so I can't really say but the room is so nice, I almost feel at home, tv , enclosed wardrobe, sofa and other stuff made me happy with all my stay in there. I couldn't take a nap here, maid kept slamming doors in the afternoon every minute LOUD SLAMMING!! I saw her flicking her cigarette ashes out in the hall while slamming doors. I will never come back here again. She's supposed to be a cleaning lady!!!! The scrambled eggs for breakfast had no taste they were either powdered or a lot of milk added to them, YUK! Pantry items are ridiculously expensive. At checkout I didn't even get a thank you, it's like they're doing me a big favor. So much for southern hospitality.

The front desk clerk wasn't very friendly, but the hotel was nice. We had an easy time getting in and out and there was lots to see all around the hotel. There are several restaurants within a few blocks of the hotel so you could walk and go somewhere to eat. You're also only a few blocks (maybe 5 or 6) from the river. The hotel room we stayed in was spacious and clean!

It's a nice hotel in a fairly decent location in New Orleans with nice amenities. But, it's very pricey, they charge for parking, charge for pet fee, charge for detergent to use with their otherwise "free" laundry and even though they allow pets, there is no green space nearby outside. Instead I had to haul my poor dog three blocks to Lafayette Park. To get into the French Quarter proper, you have to walk several blocks - in the heat and humidity. And once you finally get back to your hotel room after being out with the dog all day, you come back to a room that still hasn't been touched by housekeeping. This happened two days in a row. I had to call them to get someone to come to my room and clean, replace towels, etc. I had to request toilet paper twice, and kleenex THREE times in one day. That shouldn't happen in a hotel that charges as much as this place does. The end result was me feeling pretty darn annoyed at shelling out $700+ for a 3 night stay and NOT having a super experience. Will never stay there again, and really can't recommend it to others.

Great amenities, long term apartments available. A little disorganized but they corrected the mistake. Right near everything of interest. Good hot breakfast included and light dinner and wine some nights. Rooms are very large compared to other hotels. Pool is acceptable, but in the shade most of the day. Great gym. Free WiFi, computers and printing. Brendan the porter was outstanding and went above and beyond. Overall a great place for groups or business travelers.

I didn't actually get an opportunity to stay at the hotel. We arrived Wednesday evening to check-in after making an online reservation just minutes prior to arriving. Little did we know that the reservation we made online was not available. The night had not been closed to update the website. Regardless, Ingrid went out of her way to try and find us another hotel. Her efforts helped to turn around a night that we thought was going to find us sleeping in the lobby. If you're having any issues, speak to Ingrid she will do what she can to help you. Ingrid ROCKS!!!!

Let me begin by saying there are far too many good hotel choices for you to waste your money at this hotel! I will keep it short by saying, they ran out of food, they were understaffed, and for two days and several stops by the front desk, my room was NEVER serviced!
When Corinna, guest relations, emailed me( while I was still in the hotel), she asked how she could give me a discount on a future stay.
HOW ABOUT MAKE THIS STAY BETTER.

So to make it "right", I need to come spend more money at your hotel???? There are much better guest relations and solid performing hotels nearby to consider the Staybridge as an option!

This hotel is very close to cruise ship terminal! My 13 y.o daughter and I walked to the cruise ship terminal from hotel. Very decent hotel. Felt very safe. Quiet. Had a breakfast room with wonderful breakfast items. Nice staff. My complaint has nothing to do with Staybridge Suites but with the "third party" that booked the room. I was travelling all day from Montana, got to hotel to check-in and Staybridge did not have my reservations.....I booked a room then through them. Much cheaper

First and most importantly the rooms are clean and the staff is friendly. The reason it did not get 5 stars was we stayed 2 nights 1-pre and 1-post cruise, the pre room was by the parking garage and though it was nice it was a little cramped and nothing like the pictured king suite with separate bedroom. In that room I got up in the night to get a drink and ran into a table and chair that you had to squeeze between. The post night on the other hand looked exactly as pictured, but the bed was not nearly as comfortable as the first room. All in all if the price was right I would stay again.

For the price, this place is hard to beat. A high quality, efficiently run hotel in a GREAT location. Started off on the right foot with a good first impression; clean, modern looking front lobby with a smiling worker at the front desk to welcome us, and a recommendation on how to easily check in early. Great customer service the whole stay. I don't know about parking because we flew in. We booked a standard room. It was on the 8th floor with a nice view of Tchoupitoulas, spacious with a couch, closet, and full kitchen. Bed was very comfortable. The breakfast is probably the best free hotel breakfast you'll find, which is a big money saver. The fitness center is another convenient amenity.

But the best thing about this hotel is the location. In the middle of everything, you're a 5 minute walk from canal street and the river front, and no more than 20 minute walk to everything else. You can take an uber to the opposite end of French Quarter for around $5 and walk back, or take the trolley.

The only negative I can think of is the ice maker making noise in the middle of the night due to it being broken, but I didn't need an ice maker so didn't bother saying anything. That said, awesome hotel and I'll definitely stay here again.

My only complaint is the parking garage for the hotel was $35/day and I had a coffee maker but no coffee to make. But all I had to do was walk downstairs and there was hot coffee any time of the day. If you like to walk its close enough to bourbon street but far enough away that it wasn't really loud at night.

Hotel is right across the Mather's Restaurant and is close to french quarter, it took me 10 minutes to get into the french quarter from the hotel.

I love it here, the rooms are clean, the price is affordable, the people who stay are friendly, and the staff is the most helpful people. If I were to even pin a bad experienceI asked to bring towels at the front desk and they said they would have someone bring it to the room, (this was not morning time, it was about 6pm), they were really busy and I waited 30 minutes, I went down again and they were so nice and polite and said they'll bring the rooms, Miles came and dropped off fresh from the dryer towels still warm and apologized again and said if I needed anything else he would be on shift. I want to say I'm very impressed with the staff here and their professionalism, you don't even get that at prestiges places. I will stay here the next time I come to orleans!!!! 6 stars if I could

The Staybridge New Orleans is conveniently located to the French Quarter, Jackson Square, plenty restaurants and the levee on the Mississippi River! This was a return stay at the Staybridge for my family. The rooms are very nice, well stocked and extremely clean. Everyone who works at the Staybridge are friendly and promptly fill any requests. Oh yes, the free breakfast is always great! Even a light dinner with beverages is served Monday- Wednesday. For the price, I simply don't you can beat the Staybridge in New Orleans.

I love the Staybridge. We stay here every year for Jazz Fest and it's always a great experience. The staff is very helpful and friendly. The rooms are always very clean and they are large. The have free food for a couple hours at night during the week and their breakfast buffet is tasty.

Their business center computers are a bit slow and their wireless isn't great. But it's New Orleans. Go outside.

When we arrived, we were greeted by friendly front desk people. The room was nice, clean, and comfy. Breakfast on the weekend is served starting at 7:30am...not 6:30am as we were told. I wasn't impressed by one of the kitchen staff continuously leaning onto the serving area while putting out the food. Overall, it was good...we would stay again.

Arrival went well but I cannot believe what happened after a night out. I hosted a bachelorette party with 9 people and we stayed here. After a long night of celebrating on Bourbon Street (in heels), we returned to the hotel only to find the elevators broken...at 1:30am. We had to climb 18 flights, with very sore feet, to get to our rooms on the 9th floor! I have asthma so this was especially difficult for me.

We wanted to shower but could not get more towels from the front desk. They told me that housekeeping was not available until after 8am. We were exhausted and drenched in sweat partly from the epic climb. Also the sofabeds in our studio suites had no sheets. I asked if I could come get the towels/sheets and was told there was no way to get anything until housekeeping arrived. I was quite upset. This hotel needs to improve their customer service, especially at night. We opted not to eat the breakfast so I can't comment on it. Mother's across the street had delicious and decently priced breakfast. We were all so tired that we just checked out quietly and I choose not to speak with management. I always speak up but I was simply too tired to do so and was trying to make sure all party guests were ok that morning. I am waiting to hear back from IHG management now.

On July 4, my sister and I stayed at the Staybridge Suites! Everything went smooth, Deon Smith was able to check us in early and also got a very nice view of the Mississippi River! However, we live two hours away and i realized where is my purse? I called the hotel that night around 8 and told them the exact location of where my purse was but they insisted it was not there! They said they checked but didnt see anything, but management or the supervisor of lost and found would call me tmrw! Before i could even call them Deon Smith (the morning manager) called me trying to figure out what was going on bc the night crew left a note for him! Not even ten minutes later he called me back saying i walked up to the room and found your purse in the exact location you said it was! I was so happy I cried on the phone! He told me he would lock it up for me until i got there the following week! Upon arrival my purse was intact, NOTHING was touched! I wanted to reward Deon but he said no its my job to help you find your purse and he asked for reviews instead! In which i rewarded him anyway! Please ask for Deon when you check in! The morning staff is amazing! I recommend anyone coming to New Orleans to stay with StayBridge Suites and tell Deon that a very satisfied customer by the name of Candace sent you there! Happy Traveling!
