Stayed here for my 30th birthday... loved it so much I booked the room for a second night. Great location. The bed was the best part.. great breakfast too!

My experience here has been the best ever. Our room was clean from top to bottom. We had great customer service. We had an awesome complementary breakfast. You really have to experience it. Its across from River St.😁😁😁

Vicky was awesome during check in and extremely helpful. The attendant for the dining room was very friendly and helpful and remembered me and a few other guest from a day to day basis, making the visit very personable and welcoming. The amenities here are the same as any ither staybridge, all inclusive...but the boardwalk across the street topped the whole visit off with a nice view of the river and the Georgia Queen. Will definitely come back again.

I normally wouldn't spend this much on a hotel room. However, I must say, I was impressed with this hotel. Everything was spotlessly clean, the location was incredibly convenient, the concierge was very knowledgeable about the area, and the breakfast was pretty good. The only minor issue that I had (and this might be unreasonable) is that parking costs $20 for a single night in their parking lot. I would have thought that would be included with the room, but I guess it wasn't that big of a deal. Overall it was a great stay right in the middle of a fascinating and fun part of the city.

This is our second time staying here and we feel right at home. Great friendly staff. Very sparkling clean. Love the amenities. Wouldn't want to stay anywhere else.

Decent hotel with a great location. Front desk staff was nice but was yelling curse words into a cell phone when we arrived and several other times we walked by staff was not tending to the desk. We did not eat the breakfast (why? so much other tasty food to eat in Savannah!) but appreciated the option and the fresh coffee in the morning. The hallways are very loud and easy to hear through the doors. We had a "city view" and had a great view of the park in front of river street. However very little sound buffering between the street noise and the room, so until the city quieted down for the night it was pretty loud in our room.

Great hotel! Perfect location to go to River Street. Rooms very comfortable and the kitchen perfect size. Breakfast was great and a lot more than you get in other hotels. Staff was friendly and helpful. Parking was $20 a day in the hotel parking lot. Across the street there was city parking for $10.00 a day.

We only stayed on night while passing through, but we genuinely enjoyed it and wished we could have stayed longer. The entire staff was very friendly and welcoming. The room was spotless and had a full size refrigerator and more than enough room for the two of us. The continental breakfast was better than most are.

The location is perfect, parking was great. The hotel room had everything we needed. The mini kitchen was great and helped in preparing meals, which was not many because we had breakfast and dinner provided our when trip. Dinner is m-w only. Staff was great and very accommodating. So nice to be so close to things to do and walking g distance to everything historic. We really enjoyed ourselves in Savanna. Thank you to everyone.

Location was great. Cross the street and you are on River street! The hotel itself was nice as well as the staff. Their free breakfast is one of the better ones I've had at a hotel. A couple of points for improvement: there must have been a fraternity/sorority event in the area that had a lot of the college students staying in the hotel...which is not a problem. The problem is when they are allowed to run and scream in the halls at 4am after they get back drunk from their event and no staff are around to ask them to settle down. If my wife and I had brought our son and he was woken up by them it would have been a problem. The next problem has to do with our room: we had an interior room which has a "window" to the hallway that is brightly lit every 4 feet. The interior of this window has wooden blinds that cannot completely block out light that is coming in to your room. They should consider a better option for quest that are unable to sleep in a semi lit room. Other than that our stay was amazing and we would definitely consider staying there again when we visit Savannah again.

The hotel is located close to restaurants and River Rd. and that is really the only reason to stay here. The room was comfortable but not extravagant. There is no extra charge for laundry which is on the 2nd floor. I didn't opt for daily maid service nor did I bother with the breakfast or the evening snacks...but it is offered.

SIDE NOTE: The concierge (older male gentleman) was too busy when I asked the best way to get to the beach. He told me I could walk! So instead I booked all my dinner reservations, tours, and transportation on my own. His loss.

We really enjoyed our stay and we picked this hotel based on the price/location. Only negative I see is the parking fee at $20/day. Otherwise my wife and I enjoyed the view and the amenities in the room like the small kitchen with a fridge and microwave (popcorn included). Most extensive tv listing I’ve seen in a hotel. We would stay here again on our next visit.

We were pleasantly impressed by this hotel. We loved the old building and didn't mind the smaller rooms. It has charm and character. There was a reception with food and wine, it might have been on a Friday night or Saturday. The lobby area is attractive and breakfast was very good.

The location was absolutely fabulous. Directly across from River Street. The room was very clean, and I loved the mini kitchen in the room. The plantation shutters were a nice touch. The front desk staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend staying here.

We had such a wonderful stay here. The room was clean and exactly what a person would need. The bed was wonderful and soooo comfortable. The breakfast bar was legit too! Waffles, bagels, a protein, eggs, cereal, oatmeal and grits. Fruit and toppings for your eggs. Tina was a great front desk hostess as well. This location was great, right next to B Matthews and close to Starbucks if you're into that. Definitely would stay here again.

Good location, putting you within walking distance of many of Savannah's attractions. The included happy hour during the week is a nice touch, and having a free draft beer by the fireplace is quite enjoyable. However, the rooms are tiny. Even though they're marketed as suites, our room was smaller than the vast majority of standard, non-suite hotel rooms I've been in. Our room didn't even have a desk or chair - so no business traveler would like this place. The rooms are also very loud - could hear every phone ring and word spoken in our neighbouring rooms. We didn't get much sleep or relaxation in here. So while hotel has a few nice aspects, I wouldn't stay there again.

I really enjoyed my stay in Savannah at this hotel we parked out back of it, and for the next three days we could walk to almost every place we wanted to get to in Savannah which made the trip fantastic no looking for parking spots or anything. It was my birthday and we are land remembers and went to the Char House when we got there we were treated like royalty and even had our own menu with happy birthday on top Savannah was such a pleasant vacation and relaxing. We have already made reservations for next year around the same time at the same Motel .

Our stay here was wonderful! It is right across the street from River Street and close to everything you could ask for in downtown Savannah. The only complaint I have is the elevator here is INCREDIBLY slow. You may want to take the stairs.

We've been coming here for the past 5 years. Always had a great experience. Updated rooms look terrific. Afternoon social with free beer and wine is an easy way to relax after seeing the town. Close to River St and short walks to historic attractions make this hotel a no brainer for your next stay in Savannah.

Loved this hotel. Its on a awesome piece of real estate in the historic district of Savannah, GA. You are close to everything on the downtown riverfront. Employees were friendly and the service was very good. Room was very clean and comfortable. The hotel has a laundry room for extended stays and a fitness center. Parking was not a problem because they use a parking garage directly behind the hotel. The hotel also offers free breakfast and the coffee was very good! The hotel also offers a social hour a couple days a week with free beer, wine, soda and snacks. Very nice. Would be hard pressed not to return to this hotel when I am back in Savannah.

We stayed two nights at the Staybridge in the Savannah Historic District. The room was very nice and we were amazed that it has a full kitchen. The breakfast was fantastic and the dining area was lovely. The location was perfect for exploring the river shops and restaurants. Parking is expensive at $20/night, but worth it to not have to worry about finding parking on the street.

The location of this property is amazing, but that's nothing compared to the star of the hotel: Vicki at the front desk is amazing! She was incredibly helpful checking us in, and has graciously answered all our tedious questions. We are here visiting from Knoxville, and Vicki made some great suggestions that made our trip even better! They have a great concierge too, and the breakfast was superb. We will be back! Thanks to the staff and management!

Very clean, and modern, while right in the heart of the historic district. Walking distance to everywhere downtown you'd want to go. Very friendly staff. Really good, hot, free breakfast choices. Make sure to check out all the artifacts they found at this historic location while renovating to the hotel.

Staff was friendly but overall was not impressed. When we tried to check in they were in the middle of working on computers and i waited about 45 min only for the employee to have to say that we couldnt be officially checked in. Ended up having to deal with that at 11 at night when she finally called saying computers were working. No fault to the staff but management really should have a better plan in place for these issues. I was also frustrated to find an $18 charge for parking which was in the fine print but the reservation page showed "parking included". Very misleading.

Nice service and staff. The location is really nice, just across the street from River Street. The wifi is pretty poor though. Maybe it is because we have the far corner room, but if I pay I expect it to work. The elevators are super slow, but we just walk. It's nice to have breakfast but it is really basic.

This was one of the recommended hotels for a conference we attended in Savannah. Frankly, I was dubious, but it turns out I shouldn't have been.

The place is well-appointed and clean. The staff is friendly, and the breakfasts are above average for the "free" variety you get at a chain hotel. Finally, it is very well located near the tourist spots and shops.

I have stayed in fancier places, but for its niche, this Staybridge does a good job.

If only it had a pool!

The hotel is absolutely beautiful inside as it is in an older but slightly renovated building that still has a lot of the original historic touches. I was actually shocked at how nice it was- not what I was expecting! Plus it is a great location with a very short walk to everything including River Street! Highly recommend!

Friendly staff and nice accommodations. Convenient location for multiple attractions. I'm only marking down 1 star because breakfast is not terribly prompt in the morning, and I'm on a schedule that doesn't allow for 15 minutes of set up when breakfast "starts".

This was an amazing place to stay!!!! I love the fact that when you do your reservation online, you have a way to request to be on the lowest floor or highest, near the elevator, early or late check in and etc! The room we were in had a small kitchen, which was awesome!!! Very clean, beds were so comfortable and the breakfast was great! Staff was very attentive and nice. The only downfall is parking. Other than that, I'm very satisfied!

My first experience with the hotel was the friendliness of the staff. They were friendly and charismatic. The staff knew the city and sites extremely well and made excellent recommendations of where to travel around the historic district. The breakfast and dinner that was served was also very delicious. One night they made hot dogs and hamburgers that were excellent! There was no need to eat out! The hotel lobby was very comfortable and did not feel stuffy. The rooms were small but that is mainly because they packed in all the amenities. I had a king size bed, a fridge, a stove, a sink, microwave, coffee maker, and a dish washer in the main room. This means I could make my own meals and save left overs for later. The kitchen was even stocked with popcorn and a variety of coffees. I always hate only having a tiny mini fridge in a hotel but here they provided a full size fridge. The bathroom was small but had plenty of towels and toiletries. The cleanliness of the room was also perfect. I felt fresh and refreshed each afternoon after maid service. In all I find no issue with the size of the rooms. If you are visiting Savannah then you will not be in your room for very long. The important part was the amenities in the room and the friendly staff. Overall, I can say that this was the best hotel I have stayed in. It may not be the fanciest but for a vacation it is perfect!

We stayed here in 2013 on our Great Lakes to Florida road trip. The hotel was great, the suite we had for the stay had a seperate lounge room from the bedroom. The kitchen has all you would need to cook and be self sufficient, and the breakfast was pretty darn good tooo.

6

Room was very nice, lobby area is very pretty. Business center is just 2 computers on a countertop in the main area and not a seperate room, which was a bit of an issue when I needed it to be on a conference call at 7am and didn't want to wake my family by having it in the room, and people were sitting all around me having brealfast. Room was decent sized. Bed was horrible, broken springs in the mattress made for a very lumpy, saggy bed. We did have an issue with one of our coffee mugs still having lipstick on it from a previous guest. The front desk gave us new mugs, but it was still gross. Location is really good and makes it easy to get to a lot of local attractions. Won't be my first choice when I come back, but if I had to stay here again, I would.

Entrance is nice and location is great. That's about it for pros. Parking is $22 a day without valet. Picked this hotel bc it offered free breakfast, breakfast is no frills, I was unimpressed and ended up eating out for breakfast at the numerous cafes nearby. Walls of the room are thin, you hear everything from people walking down the hall to your neighbor across the hall sneezing. Room was nice designed for extended stay with mini kitchen. TV had poor connection/signal and was fuzzy, reminiscent of watching a tv with bunny ears. If you're looking for an affordable room with great location can't go wrong.
