We have stayed at this hotel a couple of times now. The staff is very friendly and accommodating. They have free breakfast, which is always nice, and watched our bags before our room was ready. Definitely a nice place to stay.

First time in NYC, stayed here for one night. The staff were friendly and accommodating. The hotel is across the street from the Port Authority bus terminal, which made our arrival quite painless. Our room wasn't yet ready, but the staff offered to store our bags while they prepared the room. The hotel is very close to Times Square, so we were able to walk to just about anywhere we wanted to go, or to any of the nearby subway stations. The room itself was spacious enough for our needs and included kitchen accommondations such as a stove, pots and pans, dishwasher, and full-size refrigerator. The bed was one of the most comfortable I've ever slept on - an excellent night's sleep after a day in the city. The view from our room wasn't great, as we faced another building, so we didn't get a lot of sunshine in the morning. But all in all a very pleasant stay.

Loved this hotel. From the moment we pulled up till the moment we left everyone in the staff went over and above to make us feel welcome and loved. The valet was just phenomenal. The front desk people stupendous. The breakfast crew just fantastic. One of the best was the last who was bartending. She was engaging, entertaining and made us feel like we were her best friends. We will definitely be back. Thank you so much.

Wow, this place was the cat's meow. I love the rooms. They were comfortable and very very updated and luxurious. The concierge and the front desk were amazing. They stored our luggage while we waited to check in and promptly phoned me when we were able to get our rooms. I like that I didn't have to keep checking back. I like that they had the Little Pantry available for my late night snacks . Only two blocks from Times Square. Kudos Staybridge!

Nice hotel. Staff is super friendly and helpful. Location is 10 min walk from times square. Lots of good places to eat nearby. Room is clean and well maintained. Drawback is the elevator situation long waits and often times too full. Can be very frustrating in the mornings. Coffee and water always available and they have a small store. Checking your bags is free.

Hotel is walk-able distance from times square. Hotel included with refrigerator & kitchenette which is great. My room was right in between 2 elevators. It was making terrible sound throughout day & night. When I complained to receptionist, she told me that there is no other rooms available. Bathroom shower was not working properly, water was not going through drain. I wont expect this kind of issues with 4 star hotel

The room was great with a pretty decent view, it was small, but that's New York City for you! The bed was really comfy and having a fridge was awesome. The staff was very friendly. Location is everything in NYC and this was the perfect location with the 42nd street subway stop just around the corner. My wife and I love Broadway and all the theaters are in easy walking distance. Also, the free breakfast was really great every morning. The only flaw is the elevators are small, but again, that's NYC for you.

Great hotel and great location. Close enough to times Square to walk there quickly and be there in minutes, but far enough away that's it fairly quiet near the hotel. Staff was all incredibly friendly and polite. Rooms had a small kitchen and the bed was very comfy. Definitely would stay here again.

We love this hotel. Staybridge Suites is in a great location. It is near Times Square but on side street so it's quiet-er, but still near the action. It is right across the street from five subway stops. There are plenty of good restaurants around. They serve a complementary hot breakfast each morning. The rooms are large for NYC standards. They have a small kitchenette. They also utilize their space well for storage. The beds are comfortable

The breakfast can be crowded. We have also found the lobby to be congested almost all the time as it is small.

I only gave three stars because they tried their best to fix the air conditioning unit to some avail. This went on for two days. They tried their best. Second time with this company and not truly satisfied with the stay again....Holiday Inn family need to get it together ...before you end up bought out by your competitor.

It was ok. We came for our honeymoon and Was promised a room with a view and the “view” was of a brick wall.. disappointing. Breakfast was terrible. We stayed here specifically for the morning breakfast as we had many tours to head to and also didn’t want to spend extra money but ended up having to every day or wait until lunch. The breakfast was totally empty and so picked over by 8am.... every morning(4 days). We tried all the different spots they serve breakfast level one and basement and it was the same. Every time barely any food left at all except bagels and cold eggs. One day there was pancakes but they were almost black and the ones that weren’t totally black were so hard we couldn’t cut into them. Such a let down. Elevators aren’t great, takes 20 minutes to get from top floor to the 1st floor. We won’t be back next time. Only plus was housekeepers made the bed and picked up our room daily and I appreciated that. Also front desk was rude. Overall wouldn’t recommend for similar price you can find a better hotel.

I liked the location and how clean the room was. It's really close to Times Square and other popular restaurants. Also the breakfast was good and fulfilling! The only downside to the hotel is rooms are closely placed so opening and closing of other door is clearly heard even inside the room. Otherwise, staying here was great and I really enjoyed the stay.

The room was small but very nice. The bed was super comfortable. Breakfast was a full buffet with lots of options and was delicious. We parked our car with the valet but just wanted to walk around the city after checking out. The hotel let us leave our bags with them all day. The staff was friendly. All and all excellent hotel. I would definitely stay again.

Stayed two nights, friends had the adjoining suite. While the rooms were not large, there was enough space for four adults to be comfortable.

Front desk staff was knowledgeable and pleasant to deal with. Though the breakfast was a little above the standard buffet you see so often, the dining areas were crowded, tables hard to find and clean tables non existent.

The hotel was a few block walk to Times Square through what I would consider a safe area. It fit our needs fine . 359$ Both nights taxes and surcharges included

I LOVED staying at this hotel. The service was exceptional. The manager Elizabeth was extremely helpful and patient with me, took out all my doubts and answered all my requests. That made all the difference in my trip. ;) I arrived early at the hotel, around 10am and my room was cleared. The room is very comfortable and clean. The breakfast is very varied and also has happy hour from Monday to Thursday, with wine, beer and food.
The location is great, and has an entrance to metro 200 mt from the hotel (on the same sidewalk).
They keep their bags at no cost after checking out. I still had a 12-hour connection in NYC at the end of my trip and was no longer staying at the hotel, but Elizabeth still allowed me to leave my bag on board the hours I was in town. Tell me if this kind of attitude does not go beyond expectations? Usually hotels make everything difficult and do not usually make exceptions. In this case they did everything to make my trip easier and made my stay in NYC even happier. I highly recommend it and next time I will return to this hotel.
Elizabeth, thank you for your patience and unmatched attention to me! Eternally grateful!

Great week-long stay. The breakfast bar is complimentary and very nice. You get a complimentary drink at certain days of the week. We were greeted by a guitar-playing employee that was very helpful in getting us settled. Only thing was that the elevators were a bit slow. If staying here, stay on a lower floor to help with this. Otherwise great stay.

Was phenomenal! See images. Had most necessary items also in the kitchenette. Extra pillows and throws. Plenty space. They even had a special where they served food and drinks for happy hour all month in January. Room was clean. Only little minus was the bathroom glass doors could have been cleaned better.
Otherwise enjoyable stay.

Amazing staff! Always helpful and always polite! I stay here for work and pleasure when in NYC! Breakfast every morning and weeknight apps and drinks are a nice benefit! Rooms are of a real decent size for NYC and are recommended for extended stays. Hotel is centrally located and within walking distance of all major subway stations and landmarks. Really need to check them out when considering a stay in the big apple!

I stayed for 3 nights and I have really enjoyed my time here. The check in was super fast and the lady at the front desk was very nice.

They have a complimentary breakfast buffet and also serve complimentary snacks and drinks on a couple of nights.

The room was clean and modern, I loved the bathroom and particularly the close up mirror. My room had a huge window and the view was okay, nothing spectacular.

The room also had a kitchen with a full size fridge and freezer, a microwave, toaster, kettle, stove top and a dish washer! It came with tons of China and even pots and pans. Wish I had stayed longer to really get a use out of all the great equipment.

The hotel is in walking distance to Times Square, it takes you about 5 to 10 minutes and the area around the hotel is always busy, so I never felt unsafe walking alone between Times Square and the hotel.

The only real downside (hence the 4 stars instead of 5) was that my room was in front of the elevator and it was constantly beeping. Also the fridge just randomly made noises which was very distracting at night.

All in all I would always recommend this hotel and definitely come back next time I'm in NYC.

The location wasn't great (times square and next to a parole office) but it was very convenient for tourist stuff. The room was pretty large and had everything one might need plus more. The staff was very accommodating. It wasn't a very sustainable location however, didn't even have the option of reusing towels.

The hotel was nice, but there was quite a wait for the elevators, especially when checking out - allow extra wait time in the morning. Very friendly and helpful staff. Beautiful morning coffee in the sidewalk seating area outside. It is across from the bus terminal, which is extremely convenient if you are coming in by bus. Plenty of cabs around in the morning.

Spontaneously made a trip down to the city and booked a room here when we arrived. Great location just outside Times Square. The staff was amazingly friendly and professional! Rooms are small but clean. The elevators run on the slow side. There is a free breakfast buffet every morning. It's a short walk to most midtown attractions, including Times Square, Rockefeller Center, Macy's, and the Empire State Building.

The only negative is the street where it's located. There is a 24 hour adult movie theater only a block away that's below street level, which creeped me out every time I walked past it because I kept envisioning some deranged creep running up to me and shoving me down the steps and out of view, never to be seen again.

But that's the neighborhood, not the hotel. The hotel itself is fine.

Small but well kept rooms. I felt like it was very clean..especially the bedding was white, crisp, and it has a small efficiency kitchen..including an apartment size refrigerator and freezer, microwave, stove top, dishwasher...cabinets with utensils, plates, glasses pots. Close to Lincoln tunnel, fair walk to Times Square and Hells kitchen, perfect walk to enter the North part of High-line. Serving a nice breakfast buffet in 3 areas of hotel as well as a nice 5 pm selection of drinks and finger snacks. Enjoyed and would return.

Hotel is located two blocks away from Times Square. 20 minute walk to American Museum of Natural History and Central Park. Service is awesome. Beds and pillows are so comfortable and the concierge helped us with everything. We had never been to New York and they helped us plan the whole trip for the whole week we were here. Would definitely recommend to anyone.

Not much of a view unless you like starting into other buildings. The room was nice, the shower was weird to say the least. It doesn't come with a tube they basically just put a curtain up and a drain into the floor in the bathroom. They have nice offerings at the hotel. Special nights with free food and wine and beer. It was okay.

Perfect! It's a mini apartment! Clean, safe and convenient is this hotel. Staff treat you very professionally and friendly.
My rooms in the past have been quiet. There is a full kitchen with a full sized fridge, oven and microwave. Pots, pans, cooking and eating utensils are there
I had a King sized bed, a view and a huge tv.
The bathroom was clean and ready for use. There is a shower rather than tub. I'm fine with a shower as long as I have that kitchen.

Good location and very close to most attractions. Our double room for four adults was on the small side. One of the beds was propped up close to the air-conditioning unit which was loud and very cold for the person sleeping next to it. On two occasions we were not supplied with the correct amount of towels and took time for them to arrive once the call was made. Breakfast is good and although there were many guests there are three dining rooms to chose from (one is located in the basement). Great complimentary drinks and snacks available after 6pm on weekday nights.

Check in was at 4. So we got there at 4 and was not given our room key for an hour. The staff was very polite though. Room was nice and clean. Elevator is very small so might take a bit to get to your floor. Over all the experience was good but having to wait and hour was not great.

Loved the experience here. Best location to travel around Manhattan. Rooms were spacious enough and taking the room with the view was totally worth the money. The room very clean with a very good small kitchen. But the best in this hotel is not your infrastructure, the best it's your employees team. Throughout my stay (8 days), all kinds of needs that I or my family had, they did their best to help. I my next travel to NY certainly i will choose this hotel. I recommend Ms Cristal, Mrs Alex and Brad and in special Ms Jessica..

Great looking hotel, amenities and pricing are 2nd to none. It is home away from home and staff that a geared up to make your stay exciting. The breakfast alone is wonderful. Great location. Really nice hotel.Breakfast and Manager's reception are included in your room rate which is a nice perk. Although the breakfast buffet leaves much to be desired. Typical carton scrampled eggs, sausage patties, cereal.Cut up fresh fruit was flavorless.coffee tasted watered down. The Manager's reception was the highlight of the two.
All in all I would definitely recommend this hotel when staying in Manhattan.

Great location close to Times Square. Rooms are a little on the small side but clean. The free breakfast is the standard fare of prefab scrambled eggs and meat, cereal, muffins, bagles, etc. Price is reasonable for the area.

Having stayed at this hotel multiple times I really feel it is worth the 5 stars. Rooms are good, bathrooms are clean, staff are friendly. The hotel is kept clean, both the public areas and the rooms. Staff are all very friendly while remaining professional. Breakfast is included free of charge which is a good bonus. If it's not to your taste (as it is not to mine) then eat breakfast out. You're in NYC and spoiled for choice. The only drawback is the painfully slow lifts/elevators. There's a real problem here. One morning I waited 9 minutes with another guest. It felt like an eternity. Having said that, I keep going back. Just shows how good everything else is.

Not the best hotel to stay in the city. Very small, our room was next to the house keeping closet and constantly heard noise. The showe made me feel clusterphobic, it's super tiny!! If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around...

The only negative thing I have to say is the elevators are very loud and slow. Everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms. They have free breakfast and a complementary happy hour with food. They also have a free laundry room, it was nice not having to come home and wash clothes.

I had surgery on Oct 4th and the next morning the manager brought breakfast up to me so I did not have to make the trip downstairs and then told me to let him know if I needed anything else. I thought that was extremely sweet and compassionate.

When we were getting ready to leave for the airport a member of the staff let us know they had a car service that would get us there at a flat rate. He then got the car in order and loaded up all of the stuff for us. It was way cheaper than what the cab ride from the airport to the hotel cost.

Next time I am in NYC I know where to stay.

Beautiful modern rooms with well-appointed kitchenette. Friendly staff, lots of complimentary extras like guest laundry, hot breakfast and cocktail hour. We enjoyed our stay here very much.

The only negative thing I have to say is the elevators are very loud and slow. Everything else was wonderful. Friendly staff, good breakfast, clean rooms. They have free breakfast and a complementary happy hour with food. They also have a free laundry room, it was nice not having to come home and wash clothes.

Staff are kind and helpful, it can be busy especially at breakfast bit apart from that the rooms are nice, spacious and worth the money, and it's location is amazing

Hotel was fine. Water was gross and cloudy. Breakfast wasn't very good but was included with the room. Free wine and beer in evening. Good proximity to Javits.

I started planning our NY trip a year in advance and had been looking at hotels and rentals by owners off and on during that time. I was looking for a hotel that wasn't going to break the bank but where we would feel comfortable and be able to have a nice break from the city when we needed it. I finally decided on the Staybridge Suites because I couldn't find a better price for the type of hotel we wanted and the price included breakfast every day. We were over the top happy with our choice! The hotel was clean and quiet, the beds were comfortable, everyone we met there (staff and other guests) were friendly and helpful and it was the perfect location for us: right off of Times Square and in the middle of Manhattan. We were also able to pack lightly and utilized the free laundry room one morning to do a load of laundry while we enjoyed our free breakfast. I rarely write reviews for anything but our trip was flawless and having a great hotel to go back to at the end of the day was the icing and the cherry on top. Thank you Staybridge for helping me make my son's graduation present the ultimate!

First holiday alone for me and my sister. New York was very daunting for us. The hotel stall helped make our stay amazing. Made us feel welcome and at ease. Helped us to plan trips and gave advice on what to do. Amazing. Clean rooms perfect size

Nice hotel situated near the heart of times square. Very easy to get everywhere. The hotel itself isn't overwhelming so do not go expecting that, but for what you pay for its good. The staff are all lovely and the breakfast and snack options are decent. There is also a gym in the basement, but the machinery is limited.

Good hotel for a visit to NYC. Location is great. The room was not as clean as I'd expect it from my past experiences at other Staybridge locations. Breakfast is unexceptional, however I was positively surprised at the evening reception. Since the building is about 40 floors tall, it can take some time to go from one of the top floors to 1st with the elevator (depends on the number of stops). The hotel is next to the Port Authority bus terminal, so there are convenient options to go from/to the airports by bus (it took slightly longer than 1h to go to JFK with the Airporter bus). Would stay here again.

Dreadful location, right next to the port authority, the neighbourhood is bereft of decent restaurants and late at night you will need to navigate past all sorts of unsavoury types to get back to your hotel. The staff are not particularly friendly (or competent); on check in I was given someone else's room - just glad that they were not in the room when I let myself in! I immediately went back to the reception to complain about the error expecting a very embarrassed front desk to apologise but was greeted with a shrug. Makes you wonder how often this mistake occurs.
