Wife wanted to give 3 stars...i just couldn't do it... we agree that it's a bit run down, but it's truly a great location, very quaint, clean with lots of character, just needsa little love. Most comfortable bed ever. Would definitely go back.

If you are looking for a sterile cookie cutter hotel this is NOT it! Is it perfectly clean, no.(hey, there are pets allowed here, what do you expect?) Is it the perfect place to chill with friends, four legged friends and meet new friends, yes! Let's face it most hotels are stuffy, they do not encourage socialization..not the Kimpton Brice! The beautiful courtyard was the perfect place to relax with coffee in the morning or mingle with new friends after a long day out. The in house restaurant, Pacci, had food available to either dine in with or take out to the fresh air and enjoy.
The rooms were boutique style with some metallic finishes and vibrant colors, beds are super comfy and we had really cold air conditioning. Parking right across the street was very convenient and inexpensive .This place has a library too!!!
The rooms were stripped of some of their normal amenities ( iron, robe) but a quick call to the front desk and all was remedied..thank you Alfonse for your quick service!
The location at the end of E. Bay made coming and going to Tybee Island smooth.
Looking forward to returning soon.
The only thing we were missing was a shelf in the bathroom to put our travel bags on, maybe ad one under the sink?

LOVE this hotel.
Was searching for a hotel in Savannah that would take my dog. Most of OTHER hotels charge a $75 or $100 flat, non refundable, pet fee. THIS hotel had ZERO pet fee. It was reasonably priced. CLEAN. Friendly staff. Conveniently located.
HIGHLY recommend.

Beautiful place. Excellent service. Within walking distance to both historic downtown and the River Front. The best part.....they love pets! We can't wait to visit and stay here, again.

The concept is great, the delivery was less than expected. This is in an older building so our first floor room was significantly musty even though the decor was brand new. We asked to check out a second floor room and it wasn't much better . I had a tough time with allergies both nights. The furniture looked impressive in pictures but was not as impressive in person. For an upscale Boutique Hotel the staff did not have the level of training and ability to make you feel like you were in a special place. I felt like my money wasn't well spent I would have been better off at the Hyatt or even Holiday Inn up the street. A good experience but not the kind of experience I would have expected for the price tag on the room

Took in a family of 4 and our dog on a late Thursday night for a very reasonable price. Room was snug but up to date. Staff was very friendly and full of charm. Area was beautiful and we ended taking a few hours to eat and tour before moving on to our final destination. Only downside is that parking is additional and is across the street. At least it is in a secured lot. Will stay here again.

Great experience. Location is great. River Street is just a walk across the street and down the stairs. Staff was great, especially Jamar who went above and beyond. They have a social from 5-6 with free wine. There are many books that you can read or bring to your room if you want. Hotel is pet-friendly, but we stayed on the 3rd floor which is not and it smelled nice and fresh with no pet odors. Right across the street from Pirate's house. Loved the historic location. Super fun stay!

We we're heading to Savannah and I got a targeted ad and a really good deal... We gave it a try and we love it! Great staff, awesome beds, little sitting areas with good coffee in the morning, perfect location. Pet friendly. Very pet friendly! We check out tomorrow but they have already exceeded our expectations.

This place has been absolutely amazing. Besides the great location and beautiful hotel, the staff has gone above and beyond. From Jamar at front desk, to Adrian and Lucas at valet, they have paid attention to every detail. They are knowledgeable of the area and activities. The hotel is overboard pet friendly. They have treated our dog Heath as one of the human guests. The treatment u receive here dwarfs the top name hotels at which I have stayed. I can not recommend this hotel enough.

Great prices for rooms. Decent Size rooms. Ever so different types of rooms which is a plus. The pool area is very nice. A free coffee station in the morning and social hour is early afternoon with free wine. A restaurant is attached to the hotel. The workout room is super small but that’s fine. Amazing staff. Super friendly and helpful. I would
Highly recommend this hotel to anyone coming in from out of town.

This is a great find in Savannah. There are a few hotels in the quality level but this one is actually reasonably priced. The in room mini bar / snack bar is excellent. The rooms are clean and seem well maintained. Walking distance to many great restaurants. Happy hour in the lobby has excellent wine and h'orderves.

This place has personality, I like it. My room is comfortable and the meeting space is perfect. The room service menu is limited for lunch, but has pretty good options for breakfast and dinner. The parking is really convenient too. Everything is within walking distance from the hotel - lots of restaurants and shopping on the riverwalk. Great room rates made this the perfect place for my team planning retreat.

Anytime I went to go inside the hotel there was always someone holding the door open for me. The people are so nice and they seem like they enjoy doing there job. The hotel itself is beautiful, the bathroom even has huge pumps of conditioner, shampoo and body wash that smell like citrus. All around this hotel was worth the price.

Great hotel in the historic district. Every staff member was extremely friendly and helpful. Everything is walkable in this district; this hotel is in one corner of the neighborhood and you can plan your excursions easily from here. They have bikes that you can borrow, except we only ever saw one bike available anytime we checked. The rooms are very comfortable and clean. Some rooms face Bay St, so there can be some traffic noise at times (we experienced this in #131). Daily free coffee, tea, and happy hour are great perks. Would recommend to anyone comparing hotels in this district.

Perfect Southern hospitality. Late arriving thanks to a connecting flight but they extended happy hour for us! Our first day as a married couple and the Brice marks the beginning of our honeymoon. A bottle of champagne and a dessert awaited us, both of which were no bother to them at all. We've been lucky to travel a lot around the world but this hotel and Savannah are right up there. Come and visit

Lovely place. Very comfortable beds. Staff are friendly, courteous and helpful. We had a street side room, and it was surprisingly quiet. Recently got back from my stay at the Kimpton and I will definitely stay here again, hotel room was clean and modern, staff is amazing and always greet us when we were passing through the lobby, they made my dog Jersey feel very welcomed. I love that its within walking distance to restaurants, shops and parks. This town is dog friendly so it's always nice that I can bring my fur baby into a lot of shops and restaurants. Can't wait to return in the near future and thank you Kimpton for making our stay a great one.

Very nice and well-appointed hotel! Clean with some of the best soaps and shampoos I've ever used! I tried to figure out how to buy them, $40 for 8 oz is not something I want to get used to... Lol! Enjoyed the samples though. We were only there one night, but it's walkable to many restaurants and fun spots. Savannah is such a beautiful city, and if we go back again would love to stay here without our three kids!

I was simply visiting a friend that was staying there but enjoyed myself very much. Everything was clean and put together and very tasteful I was very impressed with how welcome they were to pets. I wasn't even staying there as I said and yet they're very welcoming to the fact that I had brought my pup to come visit in the courtyard.

My friends and I had a fantastic weekend at the Kimpton Brice! The staff go out of their way to make sure you are enjoying your stay! The wine happy hour was an awesome feature (try their signature Brice Tea cocktail too!)! The beds were so comfortable and the four of us loved our suite! It was the perfect hotel for a girl's weekend, but I also plan on taking my family back!

Very nice hotel, very nice suite. A/C in our room struggled to get below 73 degrees. Called front desk and was given attitude and the gentleman sounded very inconvenienced by our call. We were told he could move us to a standard room for the night but the next morning we would have to go back to our suite. We took it and the next morning we went to the front desk and the lady was more than accommodating and made everything right. The guy working the evening of 9/31/17 should be fired and go work at McDonalds. His attitude is deplorable and should not be working at a hotel of this caliber.

As we departed Miami to escape hurricane Irma with the kids and dogs, we needed a place to stay for a while. We found the Brice online as a trendy dog friendly hotel.

Upon arrival we were greeted warmly. The check in was simple and the staff person greeted our dogs and gave them a treat.

The rooms were clean, inviting and comfortable. The bed and pillows were great. The meal at the hotel restaurant was also very good.

We had a great time riding out the storm at the Brice.

We have stayed here three times and everyone is so animated, engaging, and fun to speak with. Their attitude along with the top notch rooms, pool, grounds, and additional services have kept us coming back and was the place we wanted to use for our wedding guests + festivities. When Irma completely derailed our wedding plans, the Brice offered to host a mini ceremony for our in town guests. They quickly transformed the patio area to a beautiful ceremony site just for us. All this just 1.5 days before a major evacuation along with a completely full hotel. The staff is completely amazing and we look forward to staying their on future visits!

The overall experience that my spouse and I had at this hotel was not worth the price. Our room was nice, however the bathroom was very impractical with minimum space. You had to shut the door just to use the toilet. The linens were well maintained but the mattress comfort did not met our taste. It was a hard mattress with a pillow top. This is a VERY dog friendly hotel which unfortunately comes with dog friendly smells. Our room did not have this issue but the main floor was clearly affected by this. No complimentary breakfast- if you have not done your research and the cost of food/drinks at the hotel were very high compared to the product received. I would not recommend this hotel to a friend.

Pleasantly surprised. We got a good price from Hotline and didn't know what to expect. On end of riverside so could walk to most places. Looks like an older place from outside and rooms are small but upscale. Bed was very comfortable. Very clean, nice and charming throughout. Big plus was the service and friendliness of staff. Quaint courtyard and nice pool area. Free bikes to use. We really enjoyed it compared to the chains. Will return.

Love this hotel! Hate staying in big, chain, overpriced hotels and prefer the intimacy of smaller, boutique hotels. The Brice is perfect for that. They allow pets which always makes life interesting; are good for families, aren't ridiculously priced and the people are super nice. Rodney, the sweetest valet you will ever meet, is the best too!

I just got back from a 3 night stay with my spouse, dog, & 2 children. I absolutely loved this hotel it was the perfect fit for my family & our needs. The staff was incredible. The hotel was perfectly suited to our taste as far as decor goes. The best thing was that it's pet friendly & our dog was able to have a fun vacation as well. The happy hour was awesome too. My husband & I were able to enjoy wine before dining out. The location is perfect we were able to walk everywhere that we wanted to go. I heard from one of my friends that she has always wanted to stay at a Kimpton hotel but it was so expensive although she is very successful financially. I was able to get a really great rate on our room so I hope I will be able to do the same for next years vacation and possibly my wedding anniversary in the fall. I hate to think about people being priced out of such an amazing experience. This was the most positive hotel experience I've ever had.

Dogs!!!! Yay!! Great reception hour with wine and a punch that was out of this world. Sat outside enjoying the patio and met a few of the super friendly guests.
Before dinner I checked out the hotel bar where I ordered a fantastic specialty cocktail. The woman behind the bar was so helpful in giving advice about where to have dinner. So many great places to choose from.
I'd stay here again and definitely recommend to anyone in the area

Had a great time with my wife at the bar. We had a nice brunch and the bartender made some awesome cocktails. Mr. Porsche was incredibly knowledgeable and added to the experience. He's a credit to the Brice. The makeover you gave the hotel is top-notch. Everyone is warm and dog friendly too!

We're coming out with a new digital online magazine for the South and the Brice would be a wonderful story. I can't tell you how important it is to be meted greeted and seated with a smile. Thank you and please keep up the great work.

We enjoyed staying here for a quick weekend visit to Savannah. Rooms were clean and basic, and while the outside of the hotel almost had an industrial look to it (an old converted factory) the courtyard inside was charming and the perfect place to enjoy the evening cocktail hour. Great hot whiskey from the bar and we always appreciate the free coffee/tea each morning.

Kimpton always nails it. Love the scent they've branded all their locations with. The conference rooms were great as was their suite and their bar. The catered lunch was 15% mired by an odd chicken, but the cobbler and fish were excellent. Right on the right side of the River. Would recommend.

The Kimpton Brice is located near the end of Bay Street, so the area is not too crowded but still close to a lot of Savannah attractions. We stayed in one of the smaller rooms, but it was still very spacious. The bed was also incredibly comfortable. The staff was friendly and helpful.

First of all we were greeted by Rodney, the most wonderful concierge ever. He offered us a glass of wine as soon as we got out of the car as it was cocktail hour. We were taken to our lovely room only after Rodney told us we needed a better room with a better view. We had a view of the pool & the famous Pirate's House where we walked for dinner after enjoying a lovely glass of wine in the Secret Garden. The lobby is both peaceful and modern. A lovely place to stay. We will be back!

Loved, loved loved! Boutique hotel where every single staff member bent over backwards to make us feel special and at home. They are especially dog friendly! Washington Square is just a 30 second walk should you be traveling with a fur baby. Very very clean! Loved this place! My wife and I stayed recently and really enjoy our stay. The place is walkable to most all of Savannah...it's a classy botique style hotel that has a trendy edge. It's really cool! The rooms are very nice, the staff is really friendly.honestly...i wish all hotels were like this place.btw...whoever the cleaning lady was that day is the hardest worker there...the entire day (may 8th) we saw her cleaning rooms, sweeping floors and busing tables all by herself. She did a great job! Kudus to her. They do a Great job at the Brice.

Pros: Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Location was great.

Cons: Room was very dirty. hair in the sink, dirty towels. Received a random charge a few weeks later, for no reason. When attempting to find out more information about it, no response from the hotel. Put on hold every time I tried to call.

Overall: Would not stay there again. Plenty of better places to stay in Savannah.

The staff was lovely and the decor and comfort of the room was exactly as I expect from Kimpton. A good option for a weekend stay in Savannah. The lobby and courtyard are great places to relax and read and their restaurant Pacci can fill any hunger pangs you might have. Note that Bay St can be noisy and the hotel is dog-friendly so barking at all hours of the night is not out of the ordinary.

Great hotel! Hands-down the best part of this hotel is the staff. Kimpton staff does such an amazing job of making you feel at home. They were also spot-on with all of their recommendations for restaurants. The nightly social hour and actually good coffee in the morning really make it a nice place to relax. Definitely ask for a courtyard room. Also make sure you sign up for the Karma Rewards program. The free WiFi is a nice plus, but the $10 "Raid the bar" credit can be used for breakfast or drinks from Pacci as well.

The room was very nicely appointed and extremely clean. It was also very quiet for seeming to be an older building.

The best part, though, was how pet-friendly Kimpton hotels are and The Brice is no exception. We have a 90 pound white German Shepherd and the whole staff wanted to pet her and give her cookies. She loved it and we did too. The oversized pet bed and bowls delivered to the room were just an added perk that were nice to not have worry about.

Amazing!!! To say the staff was friendly is an understatement, they are over and beyond greatness. Super clean and cute place. I was suppose to stay somewhere else and cancelled, best thing that ever happened. #greatnessinsavannah#superdogfriendly#muststay

By far the coolest hotel I've ever been to. Very cute and laid back. I loved the free wine and h'odourves from 5 to 6 every night. Everyone at the hotel - both staff and guests were a pleasure to be around. Best yet, this is the most pet friendly hotel I've ever been to. The room includes a dog bed, bowls, and custom treat all for free as well. I love the effort they put into making it a hotel with a personality.

This was honestly the best service of any type of business I've experienced, not just hotels. The staff was all very helpful, very positive, and very nice. They upgraded us from two beds to a king-size for free, gave us over night parking for free bc it was my first time in savannah, and let us check out late with zero issues. The location is good, and it's very pet friendly. I highly recommend this hotel on service alone.

This is my second stay at a Kimpton hotel and once again I am sold. After signing up to be a Karma rewards member I booked within less than 7 days and over 100 dollars a night on our room. Yes, the rooms are rather small but they are very inviting and comfortable. I don't expect many hotels to have large and spacious rooms this close to the river unless the are a brand new build... But who wants that? The hospitality is great, the atmosphere is great, and the location is great. My wife and I came for a weekend while I was in GA for work. We parked the car when we arrived and picked it up when we left. Everything is within a 10 minute walk. If you have a pup or dog with you this is your place. If you're just looking for a place with a little flare instead of the boringness of the Marriott or Hampton Inn... This is your place.
