Another incredible evening at my favourite place, The Mayfair Bar. It goes without saying, I’m in love with this place. The staff and managers are great at what they do! Hands down...One feels right at home. Not to mention that they are on top of their game with their exemplary services by providing an amazing ambience and exquisite selection of food and cocktail options. You’re in for a superb evening when you go to The Mayfair Bar. If you are reading this review, don’t hesitate to pop in and enjoy the first class service that will leave an unbelievable lasting impression on you.

Cinematic splendour! Only experienced the in house cinema for a special showing of the animated movie Missing Link, which has won the Golden Globe for best animated movie and has been nominated for the Oscar in the same category. We were honoured by the presence for a post showing Q and A session (along with two of the puppets starring in the movie!) of Chris Butler, writer and director of Missing Link . The Mayfair's cinema is off the lobby below ground level, and has to be the largest in-hotel screen and auditorium I have seen in London. Seats are comfortable and sufficiently spacious. Sound quality positively booming, high quality experience all around. Hotel lobby area is relaxed but for a five star a tad bland though modernist. I personally prefer more comfortable opulence, but each to their own 🤔 what was quite cute was the attendance of a gathering of current students of the University for the Creative Arts, whose alumni include Chris Butler himself. The group swarmed around Chris after the question session in admiration for their past student colleague. He is indeed an inspiration to them all. A thoroughly enjoyable experience in a most respectable five star venue!

Great hotel in the heart of London. Spacious modern bedrooms with fantastic breakfast. Just minutes walk from Green Park Tube station and not far from Buckingham Palace and Leicester Square.

Was able to check in on my phone and also check out. Their clever system even told me when my room was ready. Would certainly recommend.

This hotel gets better every time we visit. Denis smiles all the time and nothing is ever too much trouble. Happy staff really do make or break the stay. It has definitely become one of our favorite places to stay and we look forward to our next visit. Thank you for your great service Denis, you are such a star.

Nice hotel, quite popular as it is right in the heart of Mayfair. The lobby seating could be better, with comfortable seats rather than the flat seats. You may find some supercars parked outside, albeit with parking tickets on their windscreen.

World class hotel with everything you would come to respect, with regards to luxury. The basics are mastered and the elements that make it one-of-kind amazing is quite the lengthy list. From top to bottom, a stellar experience that is a visitors dream. If there are any complaints, it would be the location of my room, specifically, was quite a long walk with numerous twists and turns, including steps which made hauling luggage a bit tricky on two spots. There should be an understanding that their are numerous residents in the building so when traversing the grounds, many families can be heard, specifically, high quantity of children. Again, however, top notch personnel, services, amenities, care, etc.

The rooms are so cosy, the ambiance at the hotel is wonderful, the visitors bathroom is the loveliest I have seen. And the food at the restaurant is superb! Every dish I had was delicious, however there's a dessert with the toast and ice cream that everyone should try!

Attended a company meetings there. Main room was well laid out but a little warm for me. Plenty of water available. Food and drinks were served after the meeting with drinks readily available and food delivered quickly and in good quantity. The atrium was a little small and echoed a lot but that may have been a mistake on our part based on numbers.Nice

I fell in love with London and I think the May Fair might have helped. So happy I chose such a trendy hotel with yet a old world charm. Perfect location and charming setting. The next time I go to London I'll be staying at the May Fair as corny as that sounds.

Pleasant 5* hotel the hosted a gala reception for the Commonwealth Heads of State conference. Great location in the heart of Mayfair close to Green park and Berkeley Square. Nice décor and decent service. Room arrangement could have been better for our reception as there weren't many tables provided. Food was simple and repetitive canapés and not particularly creative

In 2004, a new era for The May Fair began. Having been bought by the prestigious Edwardian Hotels London, every single room in the hotel was transformed. New wings and floors were added, amid a stylish, modern effusion of glass and leather, marble and gold leaf. Just 30 months and £75 million later, The May Fair could once again announce itself to the world: ‘a hotel like no other’

Still to this day, eminent spaces remain. The Crystal Room’s spectacular Baccarat chandelier glimmers in past and present glory, and the private theatre’s acoustics are still felt to the core. A lavish bar continues to serve the classic and avant-garde, and a fine-dining restaurant still creates the delectable. Above all, 404 luxurious rooms and 12 of the capital’s most spectacular suites provide unforgettable experiences, and the later additions of the Cigar Room and the urban spa retreat ensure that The May Fair still competes in a league of its own.

And so it’s no wonder The May Fair is the official hotel to the British Film Institute and London Fashion Week, with its grand settings playing host to lavish product launches and fashion previews, auditions, dress rehearsals and film premieres.

Famed for hosting outrageous parties overflowing with champagne-infused debauchery in eras past, today The May Fair is celebrated for its elegance and charm. Yet nowhere is, or has ever been, more renowned for its discretion.

Bound by secrets that will never escape, The May Fair is a fortress of tales. But it’s not just discretion and luxury service that keeps guests returning. High security, private entrances and CCTV all ensure that everyone can stay and not be seen – unless of course, that’s exactly what they wish.

Went to the spa here and really enjoyed it. The staff were very proactive in customising the timings and the facilities were pleasant, clean and high quality. For the price we had a massage, two hours of facility use and dinner inclusive, which is a pretty great deal compared to other things we saw. Only fails to get five stars due to being a little small and maybe needing one more thing to do - but maybe I'm being greedy.

Not all rooms match the modern lobby. While exceptionally clean, some rooms remain in a past-era (for better or worse). Restaurant was great for both breakfast (classy) buffet and dinner service. Location to the tube is amazing, with multiple lines 2 blocks away.

Nice hotel. Booked on points and was given a reasonably sized room, especially considering the area. Great location, less than 100 yards from Green Park Tube stop (Piccadilly, Jubilee and Victoria lines). Short walk to Hyde Park, tons of upmarket shopping and dining and can't go a block or two without an M&S or Sainsbury food store for timely markdowns on prepared food. We'd (probably) never spend the $500/night the Mayfair was charging when we were there, but if you afford it, you probably already know what you're going into, and that it's going to be an enjoyable stay. Be aware that this is a fairly large property with ~400 rooms. It can be a good hike from reception to your room.

The May Fair is part of Carlson, the hotel company that runs Radisson hotels, and you can tell. My room, pictured here, was bland and generic, and could have been in any airport hotel anywhere in the world. On top of the bland, even stark, design, the room was rather tired and in need of a refresh. Cobwebs on the ceiling also suggested housekeeping isn't quite up to scratch. On a positive note, the service is top notch and the bar was excellent, if a tad loud. However, having stayed at The Haymarket, Montcalm, Charlotte Street and Ham Yard hotels, amongst others, the May Fair is very sadly lacking in both style and luxury.

Travelling all over the world, living in Dubai, I was actually beyond satisfied wth my stay in msyfair August 2017. Room, housekeeping, room service, food quality was so good, I’d look forward to coming to my room to eat rather than the fancy restaurants.

Most of all, service, and warmth of each and every staff, whether, reception, waiters, concierge or doorman ....... always greeted so warmly and looked after repeatedly.

Like I feel a royalty living in Dubai, I felt like a royalty in London .

Thank u Thomas in looking after me at the reception. And all waiters who brought room service. No hotel delivers within 25 minutes.

Mayfair hotel states luxury and class to a high level ☺️

Modernized hotel don't expect any charm. The bathroom floor in my room was polished marble be very careful with wet feet, the floor reminded me of wet ice. We stayed here in March. We were greeted with a smile at arrival. Our luggage immediately taken care of. In a few minutes we were checked in and in our room. I have stayed at several major company hotels in Vegas and other cities and one of the most often frustrations at almost every single place is the check in process. Not at the Mayfair. I deeply appreciate this.
We received a room upgrade with our Credit card, that was nice. The room was spacious and elegant, as expected for a nice London hotel. There was a TV by the bath tube, this was a first for me to see. I did enjoy it on one night.
The location of the Hotel is excellent. We walked from there to several spots. The red bus and all other tourist-filled buses are about 2 blocks away. Lots of restaurants nearby. Green park (Buckingham Palace) and Regent street are walking distance.
We loved our stay and would definitely look into the Mayfair for any future trips to London.

Went here to smoke some cigars with friends. Their cigar lounge area is very different to most. Rather than being inside it is a semi inclosed area which sits in the centre of the building. This creates a very sheltered space which due to the proximity of air conditioning units has a gentle updraft to help carry smoke from the area. The atmosphere is relaxed and ample heaters ensure it feels cozy. It is clearly a very well thought out space and I would recommend it to anyone looking to smoke a few sticks.

There is a very reasonable £20 min spend and alcohol is served starting at £9 for a double. You are able to smoke your own sticks which is brilliant as their humidor contained nothing terribly exciting even if it's selection of good Cubans was reasonable.

The May Fair is a historic hotel with a modern design, set in the heart of Mayfair, London.
It is located on Stratton Street, within close proximity of Piccadilly, Bond Street, Knightsbridge, Green Park and Buckingham Palace.

The 406-room hotel completed a $150 million renovation in November 2006, updating the historic West End hotel that first opened in 1927 with King George V and Queen Mary in attendance.
