And the Irish barman from the hotel bar was a lovely person. Made me the best cosmopolitan I ever drank!
The only thing was that I went with my friend to celebrate her 30th bday in NYC and I would have loved if we were allowed 30 mins to take pictures during the day from the hotel rooftop bar - they refused us which I found as a lack of effort from Concierge to make us feel great there.

Come here regularly with my girlfriends when the weather is nice, and it's been a great time every time. Ambiance is cozy & classy, and the drinks are always on point. Servers are attentive and go the extra mile whenever we show up, which is greatly appreciated. Thanks for the great service guys!

My wife and I stayed here one weekend and it felt like a small boutique style hotel despite its physical presence at the corner of 5th Avenue and West 55th Street. Rooms were smaller than I imagined, but clean and up to date. Surprisingly the bed skirt appeared as if it had been boiled and no longer fit properly. Beautiful pool and spa on the top floor. Staff was unobtrusive and efficiently working almost unseen.

The rooms are nice and clean as expected of any high end hotel in NY. What sets them apart is the staff and service at the hotel. I visited the Clemente as well as the gym and the staff at both places were amazingly friendly and made me feel welcome. I would highly recommend the hotel. The hotel also has a roof deck bar with a great view and spa room one can use without a service appointment (again another friendly staff). Thank you for a wonderful stay.

This was one of the most pleasant stays I’ve had in a hotel in a while. Great service. Clean, elegant, and spacious room that didn’t throw off my allergies. Excellent location, which made it easy to get to great shops and food. I would highly recommend a stay here.

Such a spectacular hotel. Love coming here for weekend getaways with my husband. There is no better service than the Peninsula service. Rooms are beautiful, and no detail is left overlooked. There is so much close by to this hotel to walk to and see, if you're visiting the city. For a local, this is such a nice treat to have someone else take care of you for the weekend. The staff are also so friendly and take care of absolutely everything.

Rooftop lounge is nice and a rarity in Midtown. They have a smoking section and sell premium cigars. Biggest issue is the wait. The lounge is small and fills up fast. Wait can easily be 1-2 hours, as they do not combine groups to utilize all the seats available.

My husband and I stayed at The Peninsula for our 10th wedding anniversary. We were extremely pleased with our stay. From the moment the bellman greeted us at our car door to the moment they helped us leave, we felt like we were home! Everyone remembered our name and meet us with a smile every time we came through the door. My husband mentioned that it was our Anniversary and when we came back late that night we found lovely rose petals lined from the door to our beautiful bed, as well as around the tub. By far the best experience, and we have stayed in a lot of hotels. 💗💗

The thing that struck me the most is that the people at Peninsula make it look so effortless. I suppose I'd see the same thing at most if not all the big-name hoity-toity hotels, but it sure is fun to watch at Peninsula.

On the right evening the rooftop patio is a great place to go. Drinks are pricey and they so allow smoking outside so I'd that isn't for you then avoid the patio. The indoor bar is nice but gets packed pretty fast.

I have been traveling all over the world and my experience here was by far the best. The service was second to none! My wife and I were there for a day and asked for a great place to eat in New York. They recommended a place within walking distance that overlooked Central Park. They called the restaurant for us and when we got there, they had 2 glasses of champagne waiting for us when we got to our table.
The room was very nice and the view was unreal! I absolutely loved my stay here!

During my stay at the Peninsula Hotel there was a mistake where my son and I were accidently moved to another room without our knowledge. The general manager, Jonathan H. Crook, quickly addressed the situation and apologized for the mistake. It is a beautiful hotel with a professional staff and in a great New York location.

I had a great stay at this hotel. The staff is incredibly nice and helpful and the amenities are incredible. I loved the SPA, the sunroof terrace is unbelievable and has great views of the city. I was very disappointed by to things, the first was how old my mattress was, it was changed after the first night. The second was that everyone in my group got room upgrades except for me and it was me who planned and compelled everyone to stay there.

An amazingly beautiful hotel with equally as amazing, professional, and helpful staff. Everything about our experience at Peninsula was perfect the second we stepped foot onto the property - from the room to the amenities to the small touches the staff does to ensure your stay is the best it can possibly be. We got a really great deal through Expedia that we couldn't pass up and I'm so happy we didn't! Not to mention, the pool area is the perfect spot to start or end your day. A beyond five star experience I won't soon forget and I hope to stay at Peninsula NYC again soon and experience their other properties around the world.

The Peninsula Hotel is a beautiful hotel. I enjoyed the friendliness of the staff and the willingness to help in any way they could. I would have to say the service in this hotel is superb. I also enjoyed the decor of both the room and the hotel itself. The first complaint I had was the layout of the room. The TV was positioned in a way that didn't make sense to the positioning of the bed. This wasn't terrible but it took some getting used to and some clever positioning of pillows on my behalf. The second and final complained that I had was the in room dining experience. I have stayed in many luxury hotels in my life including some of the most expensive hotels in the world. I am used to paying outlandish prices in most cases. This time take the cake. I spent $80 on an order of cookies and tea. Not to mention the fact that the cookies were subpar at best. My third and final complaint was that housekeeping woke me at 8 a.m. to see if I wanted the room cleaned. Although I am mentioning most of the negative things I will admit that my experience was still Pleasant and I could also write many positive things about this hotel. Overall I give the hotel a 4.2 out of a possible 5. I rate my experience at the hotel a 3.9 out of a possible 5.

Reviewing the main bar upstairs from the lobby. Good drinks but with the corresponding price tag you would expect from an upscale hotel on 5th Avenue. We expected that but wanted to try it out and we weren't disappointed. Service was efficient and professional. Drinks around the $25 mark. $$$$

My go to hotel in Manhattan - centrally located, quiet and peaceful. In an area that can be loud and overwhelming for non native manhattan-ties, the Peninsula provides an oasis of calm and zen. Wonderful service starts at checkin, with staff remembering return guests. Rooms are sumptuously appointed with crisp linen, large, fluffy towels and most importantly, sound proofed windows. Will continue to stay here on my trips to NY.

I never stayed here but the outdoor rooftop is phenomenal. The mango lychee cocktail is to die for! I love the complimentary snacks they offer with the cocktails. The panoramic views are unbelievable during sunset. I was there once and it started to rain, the staff opened up their giant umbrellas and we continued to lounge very comfortably outdoors! I will certainly recommend this rooftop!

In NYC, it doesn't get better than this. The rooms are pristine and the prices are extravagant, but well worth it. The service and the staff is extraordinary and anticipate your every whim and need. The spa is a sanctuary amidst the frenetic pace of the city and the rooftop bar is fun ( if you're a bit older ). In the summer, the rooftop is glorious with magnificent views. Truly amazing!

Elegance and Luxury are nice and it's clear both are the focus at The Peninsula. Hotel staff are excellent and extremely courteous. The amenities are opulent. Everything about this hotel is committed to the same goal of spoiling the guests. I think it's great but it boarders on being too cold. It just barely missed the mark of perfection but going a touch overboard.

I know this place is a legend but I was underwhelmed. Some things were a bit strange too. When they took down our beds in the evening they left the TV on. This felt strange when coming back to our room to have the sound of the TV it made it seem as if someone was there.
Also many items were in need of repair, seemed a bit run down. Great location though.

Bar at Clement is located inside of the Peninsula Hotel once you walk in it is very inviting. As you are seated you are greeted with a warm welcome. Upon ordering a drink my bartender brought plates of cheese, olives and mixed nuts. It was a very intimate place and I recommend it as a date night.
