I loved it! It was my first visit to Canada and it was definitely the right choice to stay at the Westin. It was a great location and the room was perfect! We loved having breakfast at the hotel each morning.

I was really satisfied with my stay, have been at the westin Bayshore twice. I love the location and the convenience. Close by to some great local restaurants and of course a walk along the harbour. Staff at hotel were great and very welcoming. The bed and sleep was amazing. Highly recommend staying here.

We are so happy we chose to stay here for our recent trip to Vancouver! The hotel is beautiful and in a prime location on the water. The room we were in was very clean, nicely updated and super spacious. We paid for just a regular king bed room. The room had more than enough space for my son to play around on the sides, which we haven’t noted in any of our other recent hotel stays. Additionally, we had a partial water view, which was a huge bonus.

In addition to the beauty of the location, it is very walkable with stores, restaurants and the boardwalk all within a few blocks. They also have free bike rentals, which we didn’t get to utilize due to time — but will the next time we stay!

They also have this program where you can rent athletic attire for $5. I forgot to pack tennis shoes so I was super happy this was offered! The New Balance shoes were actually really good quality and in like-new condition.

The pool was open and clean. There is also shower in the the single-occupant bathroom down there.

We will definitely be staying here again!

Visited for a wedding and reception. The venue was absolutely incredible with beautiful architecture and artwork, while the staff drastically exceeded expectations. They were kind and courteous, making every guest feel like a valued and important patron, while simultaneously providing excellent and efficient service. Highly recommend.

Loved it here. Whether we were hanging out in H2 for great food and drink or using the pool we always got great service and felt welcome. Perfect setting right on Coal Harbour next to the Park. See everything Vancouver’s harbour district has to offer.

Had dinner at the H2 restaurant. Food was really great and so was the service. Prix-fix menu was a great deal at $60. Loved the live music and relaxed vibe of the lounge. Would definitely come back again.

Really nice hotel in the heart of downtiwn Vancouver'$ coal harbour. The structure is showing its age a bit but the rooms are spacious. Location wise, couldn't be better situated as it is literally right next door to the iconic Stanley Park. Shopping malls and Robson St are within walking distance.

Awesome hotel! Beautiful clean rooms. A friendly and helpful staff. There is a great coffee shop across the street, bike rentals, and a free shuttle to Capilano Suspension Bridge. The location was perfect. Beautiful views.

The hotel is very close to Stanley Park, and has amazing views out to the water. The seawall path is right outside the tower. The hotel is also near Robson street, with its many restaurants. It is a bit distant to the rest of downtown, however. Rooms in the tower are fairly reasonable. Not suite sized but room for a separate desk and each tower room has a balcony.

Dined at H2 and was given the star treatment. We sat in the outdoor gazebo which had ample shade and was quiet even though it was right near the pool and the Seawall. The dinner special was a great value, and they give large portions even for shared items. The rotisserie chicken is the special here and that's what I recommend. Friendly staff and accommodating for my family and child. Would dine here again!

They had an excellent buffet selection for Father's Day brunch - a mixture of typical breakfast staples like eggs, bacon, potatoes, but also juicy chicken, roast beef, mac and cheese, and a create-your-own section for salads and Caesar drinks. It was quite sunny when we ate outside so they moved a few umbrellas with cement bottoms for us - quick and friendly service. During the time they hired a singer/guitarist to heighten the ambience, and it really completed our brunch. I would love to go back!

Lovely hotel with great views of the harbour. Closest to Stanley park and right on the sea wall path. Bike and sport rentals. On site apiary so fresh honey is available daily. Local craft beers on draft available in fights at main bar. Craft classic cocktails at the lobby lounge. Large conference space.

Very clean. Well maintained. The staff I've had dealings with, to date, have been excellent. They all have a professional attitude but don't give an air of superiority. The valet, for example, has a sense of humor and wasn't chastised for it. I think employee demeanor says a lot about work environment. As for the not-so-delightful aspects... I must say it is very, very noisy. I should not be woken by the elevator throughout the night from 50' away, through multiple walls. I should be able to go about my morning routine without listening to the conversation in the hallway, all-the-while facing a dilemma of whether to use the facilities and let everyone know or simply wet myself in silence. As for the price, I must acknowledge the discounted rate. It would be unfair otherwise. The room is not a hovel, by even the furthest stretch. However, I have stayed in nicer suites at half this rooms' going rate. I feel like this is a premium of sorts for the waterfront location, of which I care very little. All-in-all, not bad.

Nice venue for a conference. I was pleasantly surprised to know they had bike storage. They also had fantastic AV and service crew. Being at the doorstep of Stanley Park is a definite bonus -being able to do a quick loop around the sea wall between sessions. The only minus was the food quality. It was lacking for such a beautiful venue and phenomenal staff.

Pretty much what you can expect from a Westin. Big rooms, wonderful beds... Some rooms have a wonderful view, some not. Very well located on the shore, it comes with a few downsides... Birds early in the morning. Like, a lot of them. And starting like at 8h00, small planes taking tourists for tours landing and taking off each 15min. If you plan to stay in bed, make sure your room is located accordingly. Crazy good concierge was able to find me a rare bottle with a few phone calls when others had failed the day before.

The entire staff was extremely agreeable and helpful. No complaints regarding the outstanding service.

My friend and I stayed on the sixth floor of the hotel and we had a full view of Stanley Park. Although, the weather was not ideal at the time, it was still peaceful to gaze at the north shore mountains out of the window while still in bed. That was my favorite part of the whole room!

The bathroom was clean and well kept. The soap and conditioner had a citrus, musky scent to it. I wasn't too fan of it. The shower had a rainfall shower head.

Overall, I would stay at this hotel again. They room had cute notes all over it to remind us to be help be more eco-friendly. We left our hotel room for two hour to have dinner and we came back to a fresh room at 10pm. Very helpful and amazing staff!

The hotel is beautiful inside and out. The main entrance features a vintage Porsche that sits in front of their cocktail lounge. The lounge is based on the aviator Howard Hughes known for his extravagant lifestyle. Despite few and mediocre reviews we have it a try for a quick predinner cocktail. We arrived just as their live music started, they encourage local college talent. The acoustic set was soothing while drinking the coolest cocktail I've ever had. Their specialty drinks are unlike anything you can find elsewhere so I'd encourage you to go a little crazy and try something that scares you a bit on the menu (just like Howard Hughes would do eh?)! Service was friendly and fast. Only thing that held it back was no outdoor seating and the windows to the harbor were frosted glass so that took away some of the Vancouver charm.

Located in Coal Harbor, the restaurant at this hotel brings some exotic cocktails to Vancouver. The service is fantastic and the food is pretty good. If u go early enough there's no wait and lot of seating as not many people know about it yet. This is a good option specially since the other couple of restaurants by there get pretty packed.

The best place to stay after your wedding and relax. Don’t stay at home for your wedding night. That’s weird. They have a really nice king room with rain shower, so nice and majestic. The service was excellent too. We got complimentary champagne and chocolate-dipped strawberries. Like I said, it was the best!

Our room was beautiful. The view and central location was perfect! Renee at H2 was really patient and sweet and deserves commendation! The food was also delicious. The hubby and I just spent 2 nights at the Westin Bayshore. We've stayed at downtown hotels before but this was The Best! Here's why: when they say that they are a dog-friendly hotel they really mean it! Our furry family member was warmly greeted (with treats too) by all of the Westin people... and... at no extra charge for having a dog with us... hello?? who else does that? Oh ya...The hotel is great too.

Excellent service all round. The view of the sunrise from an east facing suite is worth every $. The food is incredible. Top notch tasting and selection at the on-site bar. We where on-site for a work function worth 300 guests and they hosted us without issue. The meals were amazing, the functionality of the meeting rooms was ideal and the IT services during out stay went off without a hitch. Would not hesitate to book again.

My favourite hotel in Vancouver. It has the most incredible view to wake up to, regardless of the season. The staff are helpful and friendly. The prices (most often) are not exorbitant for the location and quality of hotel. It has excellent restaurants nearby, and is a short walking distance to Coal Harbour and Downtown. Not to mention the proximity to Stanley Park. It is my hotel of choice for any visit to Vancouver.

This hotel is one of the more beautiful hotels in Vancouver. The location is ideal for tourists, in central downtown close to shopping and transit. The hotel has some of the most beautiful views of the North Shore and Stanley Park. The staff are accommodating and friendly. The interior is beautiful, with lovely conference rooms. I cannot comment on the rooms themselves because I was not a hotel guest, I was there briefly for a conference. Very beautiful hotel, I would consider staying here if I were a guest to Vancouver.

This is the second time I stayed in the Westin Bayshore Vancouver. The hotel improved its restaurant and bar. The location is unbeatable. The room is spacious and clean, with an amazing view to the Stanley park and north Vancouver. I love this hotel. The front desk service was not as good as one year ago. I waited 15 mins in line on the check-in, and the front desk was always too busy and not as friendly as it used to be. Other than this, everything was great in our stay. And the breakfast is incredible.

We made a reservation for 12 and received an email confirmation. Than on the day of the dinner I received a call and an email to confirm the reservation only to get there and see it was not very busy. I really liked that they took that time to communicate with us where many other places wouldn't. The staff was simply wonderful and so kind. The food was delicious as well, get the half chicken from the rotisserie. They also bought us a dessert because the staff over heard it was my birthday. Even the bartender wished me as we were leaving. Will absolutely go here again!

Rooms were very modern and comfortable. The service staff were always very helpful and pleasant. There was a nice selection of coffee in the room. Check in took a bit too long during a peak time as there were only two staff members at the front desk. The valet staff worked very hard during a very busy event but were always polite and helpful. The Bay view was very nice and provided a nice view of the shore, boats, and pool. The elevators were always quick without much wait. My only complaint is that the walls are very thin and everything could be heard from other rooms, including the room phones. It made me question privacy at times and also made it difficult to sleep.

Attended a workshop in the beautiful International Suite. The building and views are very impressive and service is top class. Location is somewhat outside the core of Downtown proper (in Coal Harbour) but still in easy reach of most amenities & attractions and may actually have more of a 'Vancouver feel' being so close to the seawall & Stanley Park.

Often stay here and most of the renovations have been completed. Miss the Starbucks restaurant they used to have and you now have to go into H2 (their restaurant) to get a $5 coffee. The hotel itself is typical of Weston’s - contemporary to modern with staff that are always happy to help you out.

Place was physically very nice/fancy but when I pay $540 a night I would expect to be able to use the internet, they charge $15 to connect to it (don't know if there are more fee's, I saw that and said screw it-I'll be without) and $40 to park for the night as well. One of my big issues in Vancouver was finding a hotel with a high enough parking garage, the sign says 6'8" (note the garage has 2 sections, one that says parking for Westin and one that says other companies names, specifically the Westin area is 6'8" the other section is like 9' something) and I'm driving a '17 Tacoma Pro with a 2" lift on 31's and had no problems with their garage.

In the room the beds were excellent and view was awesome. Very nice shower and toilet.

Very nice board walk all the way around the hotel.

Not sure if it's something related to the area or just the hotel but the cell service in the room was quite poor.

The hotel staff were very friendly. The bed was really comfortable and view over the harbor was amazing. I could watch the floatplanes take off all day. The hotel restaurant, H2 was above average. Perhaps the most pleasant surprise was the shower, raining liquid relaxation from the ceiling.

Good hotel but far from great. The hotel decor is dated but what really lets it down is the service from the staff, particularly around the pool. Also, the hotel has a conference centre so can be very busy and difficult to get a seat by the pool. There are about 40 recliners but six of them have constant "reserved" signs on which were empty the whole time. How to make hotel residents feel special.

Great stay all around. Check-in was delayed but they changed our room to an equivalent room so no issue. Attended PBD-III conference and the event was excellent. Catering was better than any conference I have been to so far and the hotel was always very clean. The hotel is in a great location and a great view from the rooms in the the Tower. Free bike rentals were a good added value to tour around Stanley Park. The rooms were very well set up with lots of storage to hang dress close and an iron for smoothing out packed clothes.

We stayed for a night in the tower and our corner room was beautiful with an outstanding view of the marina. The bed and pillows were super comfortable and although the hotel could use a bit of a refresh overall, our room was absolutely spotless and inviting. Of particular note was the excellent service provided by Adam at the front desk. He was very professional, quick to check us in, and friendly, taking the time to recommend some restaurants and venues for a night out in the city. When we saw him in passing the following day, he stopped to say hello, remembering us by name and asked about our plans from the night before, to see if we enjoyed our time out. Then he asked us if there was anything more he could assist us with. We said we need some help with directions to the airport and he actually had all the details of the skytrain ready for us including a map of how to get to the station and which train to take, when we checked out, no waiting required! It is details like this that makes a stay memorable. We will definitely be back!

Stayed for a three day conference held in the hotel . The hotel is one of the older original hotels of Vancouver located in the beautiful Coal Harbour. This fact is the main reason I have three stars - if you can get a hotel on the water and appreciate the mountains you are doing good. The hotel itself is older though it has been updated and expanded throughout the years. This is where some of the issues start - due to these various expansions the hotel feels a little disjointed and a little like a rabbit warren of halls. I upgraded to their newer tower to enjoy those amazing view I told you about - unfortunately it was right where the party boat charters dock so at about 1am I was encouraged to "keep the party going" by the effervescent DJ on the Thursday night booze cruise. The rooms are large and comfortable with a great desk space to work if needed. There was a bit of a funky smell in the bathroom (stale water) which makes me think there is an issue with the water trap. The room itself is looking a little dated but you just focus your view out the windows and the great views it not something you would notice. I didn't give it a higher rating for these last two items and the fact that the main restaurant was closed (not sure why) and so you had to go to the bar to get food or a drink .

Not sure I would have booked it without the conference being there and won't be my first choice for downtown visits. It's ideally situated if you want to take advantage of Stanley Park and the views are amazing .

The servers are very good we made a spill and they change the Linens and clean up right away that made it feel like it was no big deal. They were very helpful when they saw that we had a baby they offered to get baby seat for us like a high chair I mean and they they asked if they wanted to if you wanted to use it while you're around the cocktail table but we said no thank you I just for when we have the dinner. When we're having dinner they were always checking with us to make sure to see if they could get anything for the baby. Ever server was very complimentary. It was a wonderfuly beautiful hotel. Wonderful area. The experience was great.

The room wasn't ready when I got here, but that's no big deal to me. It looks like a few events were going on in the area so I imagine they were a bit busy. We had a room that was advertised as 'harbour view' but was partial view at best and was right beside an elevator (fortunately the elevator didn't operate between 11pm and 6am). Super fast wifi which is refreshing. Room was fairly clean though not great. Beds were clean and comfy. Starbucks located inside the hotel (limited hours).

Location is perfect for visiting the main tourist locations. Most are in walking distance with many places along the way to stop, see, shop, and eat. Got complementary bikes to sign out to ride around area.

Other than a small hiccup getting my room when we first checked in, the hotel was absolutely gorgeous. It was about 15 minutes from core downtown, and the walk is fantastic, right along the seawall. All the staff were super friendly.

Great 4 day stay! Staff was excellent; especially Glen on Thursday morning! I missed breakfast and he went out of his way to grab me some breakfast food and an apple juice. 👍

Unbelievable hotel. Very beautiful and very well kept Staff was amazing and rooms were wonderful. I'd stay here as often as I could if I had travel in Vancouver.

The rooms were spacious and came with great views. The beds were comfortable as well as the pillows. Service with the cleaning was great, as well as a vallé. There was a mess at one point, but they did quite a nice job cleaning it up in the lobby. The building is rather large and built in a stylish fashion. The pools were clean and decently sized. There was a spa integrated in the building as well as a Starbucks Café. One thing that bugged me is Google being unable to give me direct directions to the place. Upon clicking the landmark in the map it gives no option to navigate there. Overall, I enjoyed my stay and I was very satisfied with the service provided.

I went to Vida Spa at the Westin for the first time and loved it. The spa is really clean and service rooms are private. My RMT was very professional too. I was disappointed that the infrared sauna was not working. Also the snacks are not amazing... a fruit and nut mix or an apple. To drink they had lemon water and tea. Wish there had been some cold water or at least the option of ice. Not super fancy if that's what you're looking for but it was a nice experience.

So far, the stay has been great! Westin has a workout gear program for a nominal fee, well appointed rooms, and a Starbucks in the lobby. Reception and event staff have been friendly and responsive.

On Nov, 2016, My wife and I have decided to enjoy our honeymoon in Vancouver. As usual, I was looking for the best hotel in the city and found The Westin Bayshore which is located close to the English Bay.

First of all, I have to say, the lady in the front desk named EMILY provided an excellent customer service with her positive and welcoming attitude. Not only with the hotel services, she helped us with the information where my wife and I can spend our leisure time.

I would like to give a big thank to MR. AKSHAY DIWE who works in Westin, downtown Calgary, for providing us such a fabulous services to find the best location in Vancouver from the beginning to the end of our trip. His endless supports, special helping hands, and all the valuable information made our trip successful.

I would definitely recommend to everyone to book with The Westin to experience the best customer service you have ever got. Thank you so much Westin again and look forward to book with you soon.

Room was on the 6th floor, room was paid for by my company which hosted a Christmas party downtown. Check-in and checkout were a snap. They also found my lost credit card even before I realized that it was missing. Top notch service!

I attended a Christmas dinner party at The Westin Bayshore hotel and it was magnificent. The service was impeccable and the view was spectacular with the river. I did not get to see the rooms.

I recently attended a conference at the Westin Bayshore. From the first minute walking in the door to driving away I was impressed by the care the staff took in making me feel like I had stayed there 20 times before. The location and views are one of a kind. I highly recommend this Hotel.

I had a wonderful time at the event, it was staffed by very friendly people. It felt like a getaway from the regular downtown vibe, but staying true to its roots and the west coast vibe. Perfect view of Stanley park and the float plane harbour.

A great view of the harbour front in a very convenient location within walking distance or short bus ride to most tourist attractions in the downtown Vancouver area. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall, my family loved this Westin and would highly recommend to future guests.

The views here are great, though the rooms can be a bit small. Shower only in the bathroom, and the bathroom door does noy have a lock. The shower was a rainfall only one (no wand), and had low pressure. Overall, I prefer the Westin Grand to the Westin Bayshore, despite the views (which are amazing).

Location wise, it is a short 15 minute walk up to Robson street's restaurants. Walking along the seawall is also fantastic at night.

As most Westin's go, this is once again an amazing hotel. It's location is second to none if you want a view and enjoy sight-seeing. The hotel itself is posh ans sophisticated with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. There are some nice little benefits like complementary bike tours and yoga classes. The food is pricey but that's the case at any Westin.

Overall, it was an awesome experience at an amazing hotel. Would definitely stay again and recommend to a friend.

As a SPG Gold Member we were upgraded to a corner tower suite. It had an amazing view of the harbor and Canada Place. This staff is very friendly and the hotel is very clean. Keep an eye on the cruise ship schedules for check in and check out cause it can get busy.

Nice rooms, great location, wonderful harbor views. Parking is a bit expensive but street parking is manageable provided you read the meters carefully. Free bike rentals are a big hit, especially with Stanley Park right around the corner.

Overpriced hotel with average customer service and rooms are juat like any $150/night hotel. Water front location is nice but you need to walk quite far or grab a taxi to head down to the city center strip. I would not recommend this hotel.

his was my number one go to Hotel in Vancouver. The Westin Bayshore, Vancouver is a large resort type hotel in the middle of the city. In side I love the layout and large wide lobby, and a very attentive staff. As a telecom consultant I traveled extensively over two years from the US to this hotel many many times, arrived at many different times and the staff was always helpful. There is also a large pool and well equipped workout gym. I stayed in the low rise buildings a few times but my favorite is the tower rooms where I stayed most times. The rooms were always clean and the views were awesome. To wake up and see the vistas of Stanley Park, the Crew boats rowing is unbelievable wonderful. They a few places to eat and the bar on the waterside was a welcome break from a days work. Need something to do in the city, you can just walk downtown and enjoy a very vibrant bustling city with loads of stores and more to do. My favorite place and highly recommend it.
