Never stayed overnight here but have had several meals - all really good - well served in an elegant environment. I love the bar . The best way to describe the vibe out out is opulent. It also describes the price of the drinks. You know you are overpaying but somehow you don't mind. I try to stop in for a drink whenever I am in town.

My friend and I enjoyed some afternoon tea in the westin yesterday. It was such a lovely day. Gorgeous decor, clean and fragrant and fabulous atmosphere. The staff were lovely and attentive. We were really looked after by a friendly and warm waiter named Lee. He was very attentive and courteous during our stay. He made us feel very welcome and pulled out all the stops to meet our requirements. Overall a fantastic experience and I would recommend this hotel for anyone. We will most certainly be back again 😊

Always manage to stay here while in Dublin. Its location= great, service = acceptable, and beds = reliable. No risk place for cleanliness. Cocktails in the bank vault = a must do. They even have special rooms for writers. Hooray!

Definitely the best located hotel for business travel in Dublin. Very friendly and helpful staff. Good breakfast. The Mint Bar is definitely worth a visit as well as they prep amazing cocktails. Rooms are very cozy & mattress quality amazing for a good night's sleep.

Beautiful rooms and great location. Concierge tends to recommend touristy restaurants that are over crowded and gimkcky. You can find much better fare if you explore on your own.

I've always been a fan of Westin Hotels and this one meets and exceeds the quality that I have grown to love. Centrally located, this offers you the ability to walk to so many local sights and venues. The dining area is great and their morning breakfast is something to be enjoyed. The rooms show the quality of the brand and we even had some nice views out of the room. The people are what make this special. Need a suggestion for anything - shopping, bars, food...whatever, they are on top of it and make great recommendations. Next time we are in Dublin, we are staying here.

Great place to stay. It's rated 5 star, but I would give 4 stars. Didn't appreciate their policy of debiting to my credit card account 150 Euros (returnable caution deposit) after I paid for the entire room in advance!

Excellent albeit expensive Westin experience. Situated in the heart of Dublin in a magnificent and brilliantly restored building. Wondrous variety of rooms with excellent bathrooms.

I had a fantastic experience at the hotel, and our room was beautiful and well-appointed! We enjoyed The Mint Bar, though it was pricy, and the band playing was a blast. The only negative for us was the steakhouse, Moreland's. Even that was more neutral - our appetizers were great, and my husband's lamb was as well. My steak, however, was not very good. It was overcooked and very bland as if it had not been seasoned, with no sear at all - not what I imagined for a steak touted as local, dry aged, and cooked in some amazing grill contraption.

If anyone is looking for great deals on hotels go to HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Loved staying at this hotel - right in the heart of the action in Dublin. Great room, nice interior atrium for working on email during the day, wonderful breakfast selection in the Morelands Restaurant and we had an excellent martini in the downstairs Mint Bar before we headed out to dinner. I look forward to visiting again one day.

AMAZING hotel, not a boutique hotel but lovingly cared for traditional European establishment. The guest rooms are spacious and housekeeping is uninstrusive and thorough. So many choices to eat and drink....2 restaurants and 1 lounge that has high tea. (Or room service all day) This hotel is in the mecca of Dublin, forget the car rental - you can walk or Uber everywhere. Dublin and the Westin welcome visitors!

Wonderful, historic hotel. The rooms are nice and comfortable. Great afternoon tea, but make a reservation. The steak restaurant was just ok. They could’ve prepared my steak much better. I ordered a dirty martini and when the bill arrived they charge me for two. When I questioned them they stated it was a “double pour”. The martini was in a small martini glass so I’m confused how that becomes a double pour.

The location is the key here. Right next to Trinity college and city center. Friendly staff as you'd expect. Across from plenty of good places to spend the evening. And has a mint bar. But for the price, I'd expect a little more amenities. Like maybe a gym that didn't look like it was built in the 80s. Or maybe an outlet power converter to borrow? Maybe I'm just expecting too much from a non-US hotel?

the hotel and staff went above and beyond. the hotel was superb, clean and everyone was beyond professional and friendly. the hotel manager peter was awesome, we were stuck there during a blizzard and the airport was closed, he made sure that our rooms were available for an extra 2 nights at the same rate we had booked months in advance for. i would highly recommend staying at this hotel

6

Conveniently located, rooms were nice enough.

My complaint: Our room was like a sauna. The heater was stuck on and the window didn't open. We asked every day if there was something they could do about it, their only solution was to give us a bunch of fans.

If they resolved that issue for us appropriately, I would have rated them higher.

After a long day around the city, we went downstairs to the Mint Bar in The West in Dublin. A lovely bar with pleasant and attentive bar staff. Lovely comfortable bar seats and lounge seats. A nice cocktail and mocktail list, expertly produced, a little expensive but considering the surroundings, not massively expensive. Will definitely be back on another day around the city. Very friendly and courteous door staff as well.

Good location, ok room standards for non U.S. hotel. The breakfast that's included wasn't amazing, but did have some cool features ( such as a honeycomb honey display and local yogurt in cute glass jars). The hotel staff was very nice and happy to help. Great location if you are interested in the major tourist sites

We sacrificed a little space in our room for a nice view on the top floor. Everything worked great. Quiet room. Super-excellent breakfast, especially the coffee. While everyone was nice, overall the place came off as a little pretentious, which made us a little uncomfortable.

Although the hotel looks great, I've never stayed there. However, this is a fantastic place to grab a nice quiet pint in a very well decorated hotel bar. Dublin can be quite a noisy place to drink, this is very nice for a change.

Perfect location -- right beside Trinity College. Rooms are modern and minimalist, and spacious. We had a lovely one overlooking the college. Mattresses are comfy. Amenities are amply supplied. Service itself is amazing. The staff are accommodating and professional. I have had many lovely conversations with those at Concierge and with the Porter. Wake up calls are easily asked for and have never failed. They offer umbrellas for the rainy Dublin days, and offer to hold items in storage if you're out and about or have a later flight. Spa water is provided daily by reception. Breakfast is just fine, very healthy, and with smoothies and a wide array of baked goods, cold cuts, and smoked fish. Mint Bar is cozy and elegant, and the Atrium is stunning -- looks like something out of a Wes Anderson movie. Perfect place to stay while in Dublin.

One of the nicest hotel in Dublin. The location is fantastic, close to all the bars and restaurants. Friendly staff, got a greeting card from them(SPG Plat). Room feels a little old (TV). One of most comfortable bed I have ever slept on for hotel. I have been traveling every other week for the past few months. Got some much needed good night sleep.

Staff are very friendly and always willing to help.
Food in the restaurant is excellent, and the happy hour is great value.

The cocktail bar is also worth a visit.

Near the city center; shopping, sightseeing, restaurants & bars...right. Not just that, but since it was part of the Starwood the sleepless nights are gone every time with their extreme technology used for fabricating their beds and pillows. The atrium is also a fantastic top Dublin business location if you are wondering.

Listen, this place was amazing for my wife and I. The location is right where you need to be to experience Dublin. The staff was amazing however it also depends on you also and your attitude. To have favor you need to be kind and kindness is what you will receive at Westin in Dublin. Get to know the people that are serving you, the Irish will return the kindness, its their nature. The experience was much more than expected from Stephen whom is the first onsite to great you at your car to Anna Marie and Nicola who will check you in. I would stay at this hotel again. Just remember this the Irish love to crack and Anna Marie is the best. Go and have fun at this Westin.

6

Nice hotel in Dublin. I got a room with a window that opens up to a roof of the adjacent building which reminded me of the book 'little princess.' Other than that, everything was great in terms of hardware and location. I love Westin Heavenly beds.

I would post a photo but my phone was stolen in Dublin by a bike rider on my way back to the hotel. This hotel is also conveniently located close to the police station and the staff at the reception was nice enough to lend me a pen that I can write down the imei number of the phone - you need this information when you are reporting a stolen phone. However, the staffs at the concierge desk could have been more helpful when I asked for the direction to the police station.

Great hotel in the heart of Dublin. Breakfast at the attached restaurant (The Exchange) is good although not included, and the hotel bar (The Mint) is especially nice for a hotel bar. The WiFi is fast and the staff are helpful and friendly. The concierge made a number of great recommendations and took care of making a reservation for us.

Our experience could easily be 5-star quality, but there were a few issues with our visit that needed polishing up to make this a true 5-star hotel -- first, there was a weird hammering/pounding noise in our room that kept us up late and woke us up early, and second, the toilet in the room leaked so it regularly made noise. When we mentioned the issues to the front desk, they said they would look into them but didn't offer any recourse or compensation. Could have been a great stay, but unfortunately due to this, it was only good.

The location, staff and room quality can't be beat. Just a three minute walk to Trinity College and 30 second walk to Temple Bar area. The walk to Jameson Whiskey museum is about 10 minutes and the Guinness Storehouse is about 20 minutes by foot.

Great business hotel. Convenient central location a block from the River Liffey and the university. Very walkable.

The shower water pressure is a revelation: no conservation is happening here. Wow. Intensely hot too. Comfy bed and bedding, and they have the same great steel-cut oatmeal as every other Westin. Rest of the rooms (especially tiles and TVs and closet) seem rather tired.

Pleasant staff and check-in. There are two Starbucks within 50 steps of the front door...and Fleet Street is across the Westmoreland Street.
