The Westin Paris Vendome, not to be mistaken for other Paris Vendomes.

This magnificent building has been exquisitely restored, inside and out.

The rooms are beautifully appointed, and the staff are exceptional. Warm and friendly, they go out of their way to help.

The location is perfect, beautiful walks around there.

Once it reopens post Covid, do go visit, you shan’t be disappointed.

Enjoy!

The best thing about this hotel is its location. It's near the Place Vendôme.
Reception staff are ok, nothing special, and the concierge team are quite good.
But there's a person I want to mention, Giles, from the breakfast room. He's an excellent professional, good waiter, attentive and always with a smile.

This is a traditional hotel at a great location in Paris. It is just steps away from all the main attractions. A morning or evening walk along the Seine river is also very nice. Very good service and reasonable room rates

The hotel is exquisite, the staff fabulously welcoming and the food exceptional. My wife and I celebrated our 1st wedding anniversary there last weekend and our experience was truly phenomenal. A big thank you to Laurence and her team of staff!

Great place to stay. The only thing you should know if you want it quiet at night. Don’t take the Eiffel Tower View room, because in summer month there is somehing like a funfair happening right outside your window. I’m not happy about that I was not informed about this when booking this not at all cheap room.
And one small thing: sometimes it seems the service staff in the restaurant isn’t realizing you’re still here.

The rating is five stars but the hotel is a 4 star hotel. The location is excellent - very central. It’s nicer than the average Westin and less of a business hotel. Only complaint is that sometimes it took housekeeping a long time to get to our room to clean it.

Nice hotel in a great location. Be certain to request a “refreshed” room when booking. Best coffee I’ve ever had- it’s complimentary and delivered by room service within 5 minutes of ordering.

Great service and location. Room are bit old school but this is also what makes the hotel charm. Not many metro stations nearby but lots of sightseeing available from walking distance.

This is my favourite Westin I visited often whenever I'm in Paris and never have a bad time. the staff is incredible accommodating couldn't ask for a better location to write near the Louvre as well as the souffle. Begin the staff make it just as much as location in the place my favourite know the world and I'm lifetime Platinum.

The rooms are small, typical to European hotels in older buildings, but beautifully furnished! Loved the chandelier above my bed and the high ceilings. The room service selection is phenomenal and the outdoor terrace bar amazing. I had an amazing stay!

Amazing hotel. We were upgraded to a junior suite with a view of Eiffel Tower and Tuilleries. Room was very spacious. Beds were amazingly comfortable. Batrooom was very spacious. Front desk staff was delightful and concierge was so nice and helpful with both advice and securing tickets for us. The buffet breakfast was fabulous. Loved location - was charming and not very touristy. Would definitely stay here again!

Good, 5 stars hotel in the good shopping and historic area of Paris. Breakfast is great with delicious croissant and fresh fruit juices. The waiter service can be improved. The room amenities are OK and can be better at this level of hotel.

I stay here very often for business and this place definitely needs a refurbishment. It's old, the rooms are cold in winter and the place does not smell great. I recommend management do something about the state of the hotel.

It was simply the most AMZING place I’ve ever been! It was a LOVELY weekend getaway and I would DEFINITELY recommend it! It’s a bit pricey but it’s all worth it! They have many diners! It’s very romantic and perfect for a honeymoon, weekend getaway, or anniversary! It is an adult only place. Children are allowed IN but there are no children there from what I’ve seen. I’m afraid there are no rooms for children or rooms with more than one bed. That is why it’s romantic. It is WONDERFUL! You should SEE the lovely decorations they have! There is a big statue and pretty bushes in the middle. No one goes there but employees. I always loved that place and I miss it!

The location is superb! Walking distance to everything including metro stations, museums, designer shopping, brasseries and fine dining. All staff members I came into contact with were very, very friendly. The concierge staff is not only friendly but so very knowledgeable and more than willing to help with the smallest details and suggestions. 5 Stars for Team Concierge. I had a nice room with plenty of space to move about and included a lovely bathroom. It was clean and modern and appeared to be well maintained. It's a Westin. It's a great place to stay!

Modern and nice hotel with high ceilings. Nice that they provide umbrellas, and were able to accommodate our late check out request. All rooms have a nice view of the center garden, and hotel is in close proximity to a lot of places.

Great location and solid breakfast. Rooms are strangely configured as one would expect from an older building, and the bathroom and water pressure leave something to be desired. That said, the workout facilities are quite good, and the overall experience was favorable.

Pleasant stay. Rooms are clean. Good staff and helpful. Amazing breakfast buffet included with stay! The hotel's Jardin d'Hiver restaurant is really nice, but super expensive. No ATM on site; nearest one is about 3 short blocks away and it was not in operation, had to locate another one 3 more blocks further. The Tuileries gardens are across the street and make for great morning jogs or wonderfule afternoon walks.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Positives: The very best location in Paris for Tourists. Central to everything you want to see and do. Friendly and positive staff.
Negative: Its more of a business hotel with many conferences mid week. May not get that Parisian stay feeling.

Our room was huge, our bathroom was huge. We did not have a view of the Eiffel Tower. This is an old building, but the interiors are updated...The location is fabulous. You can walk to The Louvre, the Tuilleries Gardens, the Seine and around the corner is Champs-Elysees. The staff has been EXCELLENT, from the front desk, to the bell hop, to the concierge(s), to the housekeeping staff and of course the room service staff. The Terrace Restaurant is open air although inside the hotel. It has a limited menu and our waiter was a little grumpy. But it was a pleasant way to kill time while waiting for our room to become available.

Fantastic location. Beautiful property. Standard rooms are quite small though and have an internal view. The tower view rooms are a little bigger and have a balcany you can smoke on should you be a smoker. Ensure to close the balcany door first though.

The bar area in the loby looks amazing, but pricing is just way to high to justify staying there for very long.

The staff here were fantastic, And both check in and check out were both fast and enjoyable.

I love the smell when you walk into a Westin! They have a gorgeous terrace patio in the center of the hotel that gives the whole ground floor beautiful lighting. Some of the tables have swings as seats. The rooms are what you would expect. Not a ton of amenities though. Central to a lot of attractions and right beside the "Jardin de tuillerie".

I want to love this place, but there were too many things off to get into it.

1) The checkin wait is ridiculous. Expect 15-20 mins wait if you need anything - including just a new key. The silver lining was some lovely lady realizing how ridiculous it was, and she took us aside to a desk for an immediate checkin.
2) Concierge is generally useless and spent a good amount of time listing off things they couldn't do. Which includes buying tickets for any tourist attraction. Really?
3) Room wasn't ready at standard checkin time. Sent us into the bar where we spent 9€ on water. No joke. The rude bartender said "welcome to Paris".
4) I am appreciative of security at any hotel, but their effort is a joke. After 24 hours of walking by the "security guard" only visually inspecting us (creepily really) - he decides to metal detect my visible camera.
5) Onto their self proclaimed "massive suite", which was two rooms connected with a back to back door - which was locked. We had to go outside and into the other entry of our own room to unlock it. Just weird. The layout and size was clearly off and we never really used the second room.
6) Dated, dated, dated. Although some of the style is old Paris charming. Most of it just feels tired and worn out.
7) Service in the center patio area is a joke. Even though we never had wait staff - when I attempted to order at the bar a snarky lady proclaimed that she'd be over. I proceeded to place my order and never see her again. We made a game out of counting the number of people standing around doing nothing and topped out at 11!! The only staff to visit our table were two kitchen people delivering food to the wrong table. After inquiring with management - they provided a $2 bottle of water (sold at 9€ as outlined above) for "free". Neat.

Honestly I could go on, but I'm sure you get the point by now.

My room was lovely (dated, and a little... unusual, in an old-world charm kind of way) but that's about it; as a frequent business traveler I have a short list of things I rely on: conveniently-located power outlets, efficient service, quiet and clean rooms. Unfortunately the Westin checked none of those boxes. There was one power outlet, located far from the bed — to charge my laptop at night I had to cross the room, climb around under the desk, and plug my phone into my computer. I was privy to every word of the intimate phone calls made by the guest in the room next to mine, and the front desk, room service and express checkout phone lines alternated between unresponsive and busy.

Keyless entry (which I've come to love) wasn't available, and my key deactivated after one day. I ran down to the front desk only to be pointed to the end of a long check-in line, and after waiting ~15 minutes to be able to re-enter my own room was advised to "not keep the key close to [my] credit cards or phone". Right, duly noted, I'll carry a separate purse next time.

Cheekiness aside, the pile of old, stinking, rain-soaked cigarette butts outside on the windowsills of my room somewhat dampened (pun!) my enthusiasm for the view — which was beautiful.

I've seen hotel staff responding to reviews essentially saying "if you were unhappy you should have complained during your stay" so if you're keen to spend time doing so during your visit to Paris, this might be a good fit; IMO at this price the Westin should have more than location going for it.

Crappy rooms. Snobby service. We were on the phone for 15 minutes just waiting to get a hold of the concierge. Ended up going down to their desk to ask them in person after waiting so long, and they were rude there as well. We are platinum SPG members but I've honestly had much better experiences even staying at Airbnbs. If you are looking for a hotel to stay in Paris, there are far better ones out there.

Beautiful rooms, fantastic and pleasant room service, perfect location! Check in was frustrating and an hour past our check-in time which was brutal with the jet lag. A very chic hotel with lovely service at the front desk. The concierge is also top notch. However, the rooms are ready for a renovation and one ambassador suite smelled of sewage in the sitting room. Maintenance has not yet resolved the issue though we reported it last night.

Excellent location. Rooms are comfortable and clean, however walls are thin (hear everything in the next room) and if you are in a room facing a street, it's extremely loud. Basically nothing is soundproof here. Staff is pleasant, but in my case, they failed for a hotel in its category. Highly disappointed. Would not recommend to anyone who asks. I've had much better experiences at other hotels in lower categories.

The place was gorgeous and so well polished, the free breakfast buffet was filled with some of the best scrambled eggs I've ever had, and every thing requested - such as an extra bed for my brother - was handled by kind servicemen free of charge. They even had an outlet of every kind in the room, so we Americans didn't have to struggle so much. There was a little extra security at the front door, but it was minimal, friendly, and understandable given the turbulent state of Paris as of late. Just made me feel safer. Exquisite. Would recommend.

We had an absolutely amazing time at the Westin Vendome. My fiance booked the weekend in Paris as a birthday present and it was more than expected. They didn't have a room available when we arrived, which was actually really good. If they had I am afraid we wouldn't have seen much of Paris. The rooms are not big, but they are so nice and comfortable, the bed and pillows are amazing and one of the best nights sleep I have had in a while. When we then arrived in the evening, the man with our bags arrived before we did, really quick service.
We got upgraded so our view was of the eiffel tower. It was incredible.
We asked the concierge where to go for dinner and he recommended the most amazing place for seafood.
The hotel is very centre in a great location close to the louvre and the amazing garden strip leading to champs Elysees, arc de triumph and not far to the eiffel tower.
It was an amazing weekend. Though no pool.

Fantastic property and certainly meets the Westin standard when compared to many other Westin's around the world. Absolutely love the ground floor outdoor courtyard drink/dining area. Ideally located in Paris' bustling fashion and shopping district as well as across the street from the park for those who enjoy a walk or run without dealing with city traffic.

5 stars and not only because of the view! My husband and I stayed at The Westin Paris Vendome on April 17-21, 2016. We were in room 2051 and our views were AMAZING. We were able to see The Louvre, The Tuileries Garden, The Ferris Wheel and The Eiffel Tower from the comfort of our room. The bathroom was small yet efficient. The large bedroom was nicely decorated including a fireplace, lovely chandelier, and a huge window that I opened every day and night to take in the fantastic views. We had a very nice welcome lunch upon arrival and a wonderful farewell dinner. Each morning, we ate breakfast in a beautifully appointed ballroom. The omelet station was delicious. Absolutely, no complaints here and I WOULD stay again in a heartbeat.
