I stayed here back in October, my stay was fantastic, my family arrived before I did and were still able to get into the room, the room felt like we were staying in the palace itself, easily the best hotel outside of Paris proper. The concierge was also fantastic, I had an emergency during my stay, requiring me to urgently send some document to Texas overnight, they got it there on time by coordinating with the local courier.

A great classic hotel from the past century. I was sad to see that furniture and elements such as door handles were modernized. This wasnt the case when last I stayed there in 2007.

Very professional and courteous staff. Super comfy beds in spacious rooms. Breakfast was absolutely divine with a nice view of a field full of sheep. The Location is just perfect for walking and sight seeing as it’s next to Chateau de Versailles. Had a wonderful time with great service - highly recommend a stay here. (And definitely check out the Michelin starred Gordon Ramsey restaurant 🤤unbelievably delicious)

3.5 stars is more representative. Pros: great location for walking to local shops and a plethora of great, lively eateries. Larger hotel rooms than your typical B&B or hotel in Paris. Would give it a 5 star rating for location. Cons: The air conditioning was the worst I experienced in two weeks in France. Warm outside equals a near 78° F room, with no fans. The view from the window, was...poor at best (see accompanying picture). In summary: had we secured this room at a "Deal price", I would say consider it. If you are someone who reserved your stay with high expectations of an establishment, carrying a prestigious name...look elsewhere unless first.

Nice location, rate was great for the time I was there with the exception of the parking..... way too expensive and park your car in the street is not really an option. Breakfast is outstanding !!!

Stayed on a Monday night in a family room. Next time we'll stay Sunday night as well to explore the gardens on Monday when the palace is closed and the place is quiet. Staff was exceptional. Fitness facility was fantastic.

One of the best hotel experiences I have ever had. As a Diamond Hilton Member, who spends more than +100 days per year in Hilton Hotels, this has been excellent. The Gordon Ramsay restaurant was great. The hotel attention, amenities, food, room and service was more than great. I will be back in this place for sure. Great experience

Established in 1907 in Versailles, one has a certain reputation to uphold and happily this magnificent pile does it effortlessly. Valet parking quick, friendly and good value. Faultless service from perfectly bilingual and attentive staff right down to bringing you the yoghurt spoon that you overlooked at breakfast. Rooms are beautifully appointed. Wasn't lucky enough to dine there but looked wonderful. In life, you get what you pay for...but here you get a sense of class, a smile and a welcome that money can't buy as well.

From the very beginning the service was fabulous! Ester checked us in and made us feel as if we belonged there forever. There was a helpful concierge, and the wait staff in the restaurants was very gracious. We were there in April in time for tulips and other spring flowers. The fields surrounding the hotel had peaceful grazing sheep and goats. I highly recommend this wonderful hotel.

Nice rooms, excellent customer service, and great breakfast buffet. A bit far from Paris but the train station is a 15 minute walk or $7 Uber ride away. I would recommend getting the unlimited Metro pass good for one week for about $35 a person best deal for traveling to and from Paris area.

This is our second holiday in this wonderful Hotel.. We just loved it, the sorroundings is still magical. The Chateau at back and the old city of Versailles in the front..
The Reception is friendly and very welcoming, Porter and Concierge are always there with a smile, Wellness area with a big pool and Sauna are very clean and very sunny and of course the breakfast with Mr. Rene wearing a smile on his face every day really makes us feel very comfortable..Thank you very much.. Schatzi and me adores this traditional house a lot.

The pinnacle of splendid luxury! Enjoying breakfast prepared by French Chefs on the veranda with my wife and young daughter while overlooking the gardens backed by the expansive recreational area and grazing pastures where sheep meander all morning made for a most enjoyable start to each and every day. The wait staff service in the restaurant was absolutely impeccable. They were over-the-top professional, courteous and expedient. The Palace personnel from bellman to front desk to Concierge to the spa were all 5 star plus. We are already looking forward to our next visit to our new favorite venue near Paris! Thank you Trianon Palace Versailles for such a memorable experience!

This hotel was an amazing experience. The staff was helpful literally from the moment I pulled into the gate up until the moment I drove away. The entire property was immaculately clean and decorated. The desk staff escorted me to my room and walked through available services. The breakfast room service was exactly as expected and delivered promptly. I’d high recommend a stay. The location is very convenient for any visit to Versailles.

Wonderful building and environment and polite personnel are the only positive comments.
This makes the hotel expensive but far from luxurious.
The SPA has large corridors but the sauna and the steam room are each the size of two bathtubs or a Jacuzzi with people seating in bathing suits side by side as in the tube at rush hour. No cold pool for after the sauna and only two long chairs for resting in the sauna/steam room area. The swimming pool chlorine smell forbids you to approach: pitiful...
The Gordon Ramsay restaurant is over rated with a very slow service.
The Brasserie serves on plastic tables with no tablecloths.
The bedroom was spacious and nice but the shower had to be changed after it went from cold to burning and the bathtub took 44 minutes to fill.
The clientele is to say the least not very elegant, and it is a shame in such a nice setting.
Too bad: it must have been a very nice hotel once upon a time...

Beautiful hotel. Our 2nd time staying there. Away from Paris city centre however easily accessible via train (10minute walk from the palace). The location is amazing with easy access to the queens gate entrance to Versailles. The grounds are beautiful and serene and the service is very good. The rooms are a problem though. They do not advertise that there are two buildings, one the beautiful, historical setting of the composition of the treaty of Versailles and the other a 2 star pos likely built in the 60s with low ceilings and an overwhelming smell of mildew. We booked 6 months in advance but we're still stuck in the awful 2nd building while the staff insisted there were no upgrades. One perk of staying in the crappy building (If your room is on the right side) is that you have a lovely view of the actual hotel you intended to stay in. Would not recommend this hotel as the price is not worth the possibility of staying in a crappy motel and the amenities are sub par at extortionate prices.

Timothe is a fantastic receptionist. The breakfast staff are wonderfully attentive and the concierge was delightful. I cannot rate the shuttle service too highly. Service 10/10 Location 11/10 Pavilion building 6/10 The main building is incredibly picturesque and the location is incredible. You're literally right next to one of the entrances to the Versailles grounds. The service is impeccable, everyone from the concierge to the waiters to the front desk was incredibly helpful and friendly. They helped me arrange my visit to Versailles and provided great recommendations. The pavilion building definitely needs a renovation though. It's very dated and feels does not match the luxury of the rest of the property. Also there air conditioning was not strong enough and the bathrooms were not on par with other Waldorf Astoria properties. As you'd expect, the food & drink is quite pricy. Again, the staff are truly excellent and the main building is beautiful. The location is gorgeous. Pavilion building is just out of date.

“Great Location, Stylish but Pricey”

GREAT LOCATION
Superb, right next to the Chateau de Versailles.

FRIENDLY STAFF
The receptionist was so proud of her hotel, really wanted us to have a good stay and shared that the Treaty of Versailles was drafted in their reception salon at te end of the long hallway.

STANDARD OR ?
There are 2 large buildings separated by the garden. We stayed in the standard building, with the swimming pool (which was great before breakfast !).

F&B
Exhaustive breakfast, well served. Evening dinner was fine, very nice, a bit pricey though, like the drinks at the bar. A stylish interior and you pay for it.

We went a few years ago and it was like a beautiful dream! The rooms were large & had everything you would expect from such a Grand Hotel. Ask for the package that includes breakfast. This place is just great, full of old world grandeur and impeccable service. I could tell that they were a touch discombobulated by our two year old but their instinct for grace and hospitality shone through. Definitely the place to stay in Versailles. Not cheap though. We asked for some milk for our little one, €8! That said, you don't stay here to save money, you stay here to feel like royalty.

Had dinner at Gordon Ramsay au Trianon. We were one of the only people dining as they had a large event that day with many guests being at the bar. It made for a little awkward of a night, but the food was tasty and they were able to accommodate a vegetarian who also had a lovely meal. Maybe didn't live up to the "Gordon Ramsay" hype, but that may have been my fault for over-hyping it.

Nice hotel ut we were during low-season (20./21.8.2016) and there was a lack of staff, poorly trained staff, nuts were served after asking 3 times for it and then they only brought us some leftovers and no new nuts. Inattentive waiters, had to ask several times until I got the staff's attention to order again.
They ran out of draught beer after two people at our table ordered tap beer (5pm in the afternoon..)
Rooms are spacious and breakfast is very generous with live cool for egg dishes and pancakes and waffles.
I would say price-performance was just (!) alright!

As a Diamond member, I got a much appreciated upgrade to a nicer room inside the main building. We loved the room so much we stayed an additional night. We avoided the obviously wonderful hotel food to explore the town instead. Everyone we asked for help went above and beyond. Heated floors in our bathroom... little balconies, heaven.

The hotel is located in Versailles, which is a little outside of Paris. With public transportation, you are in the city and at the sights within 30-40 minutes though. The location is drop dead gorgeous, right near the castle Versailles. The staff has been nothing but amazing, very courteous and helpful. We had the buffet breakfast, and it was one of the best hotel breakfasts I've ever had. The room we had was not overly spacious, but very clean, comfortable and had a nice view. There is nothing bad I could say about this stay!

8

Ridiculously expensive for the good rooms in the "palace" part of the hotel and the pavilion maybe not so worth it. If you can get a good rate and a good room this will be one of the best hotels you'll stay in. Food is nice but also overpriced.
Breakfast is great and the staff good too (particularly at breakfast - thanks Eric!).

Negative points are housekeeping refuse to replenish the coffee each day (and seem to have an aversion to decaff in particular) and the irons are pretty poor (no steam) and not in keeping with the other amenities.

I rated three stars just for the beautiful rooms, grounds, and housekeeping service. The front desk and concierge should be shamed. For those who have had amazing service at Waldorf hotels, do not expect that here. My colleagues and I stayed here for over 8 days and we called this place the Anti-Waldorf. We've all stayed at different Waldorf Hotels across the world and the Trianon was the worst Waldorf experience. Any question we asked of the front desk resulted in the attendant walking off to a closed door room to seek an answer for a minimum of five minutes. My colleague asked the concierge for things to do in the area and any answers we received were without any thought or effort. The hotel location is amazing for Versailles and I guess the staff knows this so that special Waldorf attention isn't shown here. I received way better front desk service at a Marriott in central Paris then what I received at this Waldorf Astoria. In fact, my total experience at the JW Marriot in New Orleans was more than twice as better as what I received here. In summary, this hotel is beautiful....but for a Waldorf Astoria.... this hotel is just okay. The doorman, service, and housekeeping staff are great. But the the front desk and concierge staff need drastic improvement.

I stayed at the Trianon Palace in Versailles and ultimately everything was faultless. A stunning location with an entrance via the Queen's Gate for direct access to the Palace of Versailles' gardens and Chateaux. My room had a beautiful view of the Palace and the interior was luxurious, and super comfortable. The spread a breakfast was varied and the staff were brilliant. Whether you order a coffee on the terrace or champagne in the bar it was always served with a macaroon. As a huge fan of macaroons, I was very happy there! I highly recommend this hotel and without a doubt I would go back.

The burger at Trianon Palace in Versailles is among the most expensive I've ever personally eaten. The burger features a soft sesame bun, mustard, ketchup, melted cheese, lettuce, and tomato. The beef is cooked well and has a crispy char/crust to it. Overall, the burger was pretty good but it could have used a tad bit more seasoning or some acid/salty notes from a pickle.

- - Pros - -

The old "original" historic hotel is beautiful! The relatively new addition - where we stayed is nice but not what we were expecting. None of the information on their website suggested there was an addition!

Staff was very friendly & helpful - especially the Concierge!

Breakfast Buffet is the best deal there for the price €!

Gordon Ramsey Restaurant is fabulous but €€€€!

- - Cons - - - -

None of the information on the website suggested we would be staying in the newer "addition" to the hotel! All the photo's only showed the beautiful historic hotel.

Mosquitoes! Don't open the windows!!!

Internet access is 25 € /24 hours in your room! Free in the lobby.

Hotel is approximately 1 km from the downtown core of Versailles - a bit far to walk at night to go out for dinner. Which means eating at the Hotel which is good - as the food comes from the same kitchen as the Gordon Ramsey - but can be quite €€€!
