Great location for walking anywhere in downtown Vancouver. Friendly welcoming staff. Due to Covid19 a few services were missing, like maid service to the room and the pool and exercise room were closed, but should be opening later this week. Our 6 yrs old says we will just have to "come back" and use the pool another time, but tells me not to leave it too long! You can learn a lot from kids!

Recently stayed here for an anniversary celebration. Staff were all friendly and the extra services (for a surprise which included chocolate covered strawberries and roses to be delivered and set up before arriving) was nicely as well as easily organized. The location is convenient, super close to some main restaurants. Only thing I wasn’t a fan of ...were the pillows!

Pleasant and nicely appointed hotel - I thought the value was pretty good for a downtown Vancouver facility. Room amenities were good but a few details of age are evident on the layout. What was really strong was customer service. All my requests were accommodated without issue and the staff are warm and attentive. If it fits your price range and geographic needs, I think you will be happy!

The BEST hotel to stay in if you're visiting Vancouver. Gorgeous view of the waterfront and beautiful sunsets. We lived on the 30th floor and would love seeing the sun set and wake up to a beautiful morning for the long weekend. Staff is very courteous. The hotel has most tourist attractions at a radius of 0.5 miles. We loved staying here.

Beds are comfortable. Rooms are clean. The bathroom amenities are good products. The towels are decent and plentiful. Staff seem pleasant. The lady who cleans rooms on our floor had a big, genuine smile. She made polite conversation. This hotel is downtown so prices for breakfast start at 24.00 but there are other businesses close at hand to pick up food items. Urban Fare does a great breakfast. Plus they have a modest grocery Dept.
We have stayed at the Fairmount but I much prefer this location.

The location is great but for $450 a night I would have expected a bigger room with nicer amenities. Honestly the interior of the rooms looks pretty dated. Parking is a nightmare also but that's pretty much the case all downtown.

Was there for a professional networking of graphics pros. Ballroom was equipped with a bar that was thinly stocked - there were a few beers and wine, but non alcoholic options were limited to orange or cranberry juice. Food was ok, nothing spectacular. Ballroom was otherwise fairly spacious and able to hold a crowd of probably 1000 attendees without packing them in.

Location is good! The staff are very friendly! However I needed to get some work done and they don't really have a work space or conference center. They have a business center but it is in the lobby and it is extremely loud due to the sheer amount of people. Other than that the rooms were very clean and nice

This is a nice and comfortable place to stay. It is very convenient to event centers and other activities in Vancouver. It is an easy walk or run to the trails in Stanley Park, and there is great coffee and food everywhere. I even had an unexpected view of the water. I would stay here again.

Great location, just steps from Vancouver waterfront (great place to walk and take in some great views). Clean room with decent amenities. Lots of great places to dine in the area, steps from SkyTrain station and walking distance to Granville, Robson streets (shopping!!). Great value for the location.

I attended this venue for my Prom night and found it to be rather satisfactory. The service was polite and quick, there was never a moment with an empty glass. Additionally the food provided was absolutely delectable and plentiful. Overall a wonderful experience.

Located right in the middle of downtown provides some pretty good views... The rooms are spacious and well maintained... Although I don't find it more better than other Marriott hotels because of the amenities like fridge and oven are not present in the rooms...

This hotel is in a very walkable area with nice views (including of the water and surrounding mountains) from higher floors. Rooms are clean and well taken care of, and staff have been helpful. The lobby bar has large windows and is a great place to for a drink or snack before heading out. I would definitely consider staying here next time I'm in Vancouver.

We have been coming here for twenty years or so-- several times a year. The location is ideal: easy and close access to downtown, the expensive designer shops, the heavily Asian Robson street, Stanley Park, the waterfront and marinas, and the convention center. The rooms tend to be small, but comfortable. The concierge lounge puts on a good spread for breakfast and the light "dinner" in the evening. Good happy hours choices and prices in the bar area. Spacious and well equipped gym and pool area. The staff is hit or miss; the bell staff is friendlier and more personable than the front desk people.

Room was cozy and didn't feel empty. TV wasn't the best picture quality. Staff was very friendly. Lobby bar should offer a couple sweeter coctails but those offered were high quality. The only surprise was when I chose to self park and was given a slip to put on my dash, I wasn't made aware that there was a $35 overnight parking charge.

The hotel is really beautiful with a great location. Staff were extremely professional and friendly. The room was sufficient. The lobby restaurant has happy hour 2 times per day. The drink and food selection for happy hour was not great. Parking for the night is ridiculous. $35 for the night. Truly this should be complimentary with hotel stay.

We had an amazing stay at this hotel! The staff was so friendly and accommodating. We will surely stay at this hotel anytime we visit Vancouver. The bar in lobby is a cool place to hang out, have a drink, and grab a bite to eat. They have a great fitness area with a pool, hot rub, and sauna which was a great way to start our mornings. Everything is within walking distance of this location as well. Shout out to Louisa, you're awesome

Got upgraded to a corner high level room. The view is spectacular to the harbor and the cityscape. Unfortunately, I have to say aside from the lobby, the rest of the hotel seems dated, especially the room. The carpeting, bathroom, furniture all needs some updating. The club lounge is a bit on the crowded side and seems to have just been the combination of two rooms, but again offers great views.

The location was convenient and the rooms were nice but the amenities that very frequent travelers, such as myself, were weak - in particular I'm considering the lounge where I can get work done. The quality of the food whilst excellent had a very limited variety. However, the level of courtesy was impeccable.

My experience at the Marriott Pinnacle was limited, but great. I was welcomed at the door by a friendly and helpful doorman, the lobby was well decorated and open, and the bar was spacious and clean. I had a opportunity to visit my friends room briefly and it seemed like a nice room. The loaction is amazing, and if the hotel restaurant/bar isn't what you're looking for there are plenty of other options nearby.

Superb staff. I was here for a conference and the organizer complained that it was freezing cold in the corridor. She also pointed to me and said I was freezing cold too. I actually wasn't but had agreed with her when she commented in order to be polite. In any case, the hotel conference staff offered me hot tea while he gets his technician to adjust the temperature. And came back with a blanket/ throw for my legs (I was wearing a skirt). That was super thoughtful! The missing star in the rating is because some of the washroom stalls were not flushed properly.

We were in town for a night on our honeymoon and the amazing staff upgraded our room for us and sent up a delicious cheese plate, chocolate covered strawberries, and two small bottles of champagne. Those small things made our good visit into a great visit! I very highly recommend the Marriott Pinnacle hotel!

I would like to thank two people at this Hotel. Prasad the Bellman. Very helpful and informative. Also, Kim Tang, the most patient person I have ever met. Had dinner here once. Drinks a couple of other nights. They made an Old Fashioned that I loved and they pour a generous Canadian red wine that was delicious. The bartender Travis or Trevor was a doll. For desert my friends loved everything but we were partial to the strawberry rhubarb crumble. I would have stayed here with my friends but the rooms sold out quick.

Hotel is nice and offers great views of Coal Harbour. Good location only a few blocks from the shops on Robson. However what really makes this place is the staff. This outstanding hotel has been very gracious and accommodating. The staff is amazing, and the room is very nice. The bed is comfortable as well. The only areas for improvement would be the a/c doesn't seem to keep the room cold enough, and the shower is too small. Overall, I loved the stay and the hotel was fabulous.

Came here for a wedding at the Pinnacle ballroom and it was fantastic. The food was all delicious. The desserts were good and not overly sweet. The event staff were all quite helpful and courteous. Bonus: all night parking was only $7 which is the best deal for parking downtown you can find.

This location was excellent for lodging during a professional conference at the Vancouver Convention Centre. The rooms seemed well-kept with courteous service. The hotel's proximity to the convention centre was perhaps the best convenience: a short 5 minute walk one-way. It is also very convenient to local shopping centers, even on foot.

Venue was okay. I was there for a wedding. The hotel bar tried to kick us out because we were too rowdy. The security guy was half my size and totally power tripping. Threaten to throw us and the groom out of the hotel. It was pretty funny. But not very nice. It is the guys wedding....

Excellent hotel.
Had a corner room w floor to ceiling windows & excellent view. The bed was comfy, and A/C system worked well enough to cool things down at night. The bathroom is impressive too, spacious and hot water comes swiftly.
The gym is typical hotel gym, the weights stop at 50lbs & its largely cardio machines.
Front desk staff were swift & polite; willing to mail postcards for me.

Hotel is at a good location, close to Olympic cauldron and minutes away from Robson street. Hotel staff is very friendly and helpful. My daughter had a best friend at the restaurant. Rooms are clean, a bit on smaller side. The room we stayed had both shower and bath tub, which was nice. Restaurant is a nice open space. Service was excellent. Prices are ok. The open buffet for the breakfast was a bit limited, however individual dishes were tasty. Children under 5 eat free at the buffet for the breakfast. Overall a good hotel at great location with helpful friendly staff.

Courteous staff. The facilities and rooms are always in good repair and clean. As a business traveller having the print shop, car rental and other services in the building is excellent. Right when you walk in, the restaurant and bar shines with its attractive look accompanied by a good selection of drinks and great food. The rooms were nice and what you'd expect from a full scale Marriott. Our view was fantastic and when we went to the lounge on the 25th floor we were treated with an even better view. One downside is that there is no patio in the lounge, unlike the one at the Sheraton Wall Centre. And the hours and selection is weaker. The food (breakfast), however, was fantastic.

Nice hotel, staff friendly, bar fairly open, conveniently located in the downtown area, parking easy but $$$. Battery was dead in TV remote. Front desk did not have batteries. Had to call maintenance, but they quick to respond. Had a double room, plenty of space, bathroom towels soft. Only real complaint was the TV remote (batteries), and changing channels was slow...

Only complaint is that the rooms are a little small. Other than that it's a lovely experience. Great customer service, excellent food, modern design, good in-room amenities etc. Would be nice to include free Wi-Fi for the rooms. It's available in the lobby for free or in-room for a cost. Would definitely come back anyway.

I'll first start this off by saying the staff is great. My initial experience with the facilities, however, was not. Upon checking in, I went to my room and immediately smelled a foul smell coming from the washroom. It reminded me of a mixture of body odour and mould. The front desk quickly moved me to a second room. Similarly equipped, but on a higher floor. This room was good, until I started to use the heater. It was 20 degrees and wanted to warm it up to 25. When it reached the correct temperature, the heater shut off, but almost immediately the dripping started. Not quiet dripping either but similar to tapping on a wooden table. The night manager was kind enough to move me to a third room and was extremely apologetic. He put me in an elite room and gave me access to the concierge lounge as a consolation. So far this room has been great, albeit for the carpet. The view is an excellent view of the harbor, and the concierge lounge is nice. My stay is not yet over, so I hope the remainder will be better after the rocky start.

Excellent customer service from everyone. Beautiful, very comfortable room, with a gorgeous city view. Room service was straight from the restaurant menu, with the same prices, and a small service fee, and a bonus "hangover cure" placed in our room because they knew we were going to a work party that night. Will definitely stay again.

The hotel is fine but not sure it matches the stars. The bathroom was poorly done with all the mosaics had gaps. The wifi is $7.99 per day while all the competitors, other locations of Marriott, Starbucks, McDonald's, Safeway, and all other places offer it for free. If you will be Marriott member, you may get it for free (membership if free, so why not?) If you're a corporate guest then it is free. So the question is why you are charging it? The hotel will not be my first choice next time. The restaurant is good though.

Excellent downtown location with self-parking or valet parking available. The higher the room the better the view! I have never stayed at a Marriott that disappointed! I'd definitely stay here again.

The staff people were extremely helpful. They went the distance in terms of helping the customers.

I got in the front desk out of breath from walking about 10 blocks from train station platform. Even before I asked, the front desk person helped getting me infused water. And she waited until I was ready.

She also suggested that I go to tourists attractions (which I will do the next time I am in town)

The bellhop was also very helpful. I asked for direction, and he printed google map direction to the place.

The room was clean and spacious. The in-room free wifi helped me with my connections to my family back home.

The housekeeping staff were also nice, although i didn't get the chance to meet them. They tidy up the room, and even the makeup I left unorganized on the lavatory. They placed it on a towel in orderly fashion.

That are the services of 5 star hotel

REVIEW EDIT:

Huge kudo’s to the Manager at the Marriott Pinnacle: The very next day after I posted this review she asked to chat with me.
-          She said that she reads the social media feedback every day (way to go!)
-          Apologized that during check-in I was not given an opportunity to hear about the property (very nice to do)
-          Was totally sincere (bonus) and asked that I let her know next time I would be in town so she could make sure everything is right.

Way to go! Not sure when I will be in Vancouver again but due to this one interaction (which was all of 3 minutes) I will definitely book there next time.

We don’t have to be perfect, we just have to care about it when we’re not.

(Original review)
The hotel is nice, the rooms are a bit tight, but that is not uncommon for hotels in the city. rooms are nice, as would be expected, but the number of electrical outlets was a nice surprise... Too many gadgets to keep charged. The views are great, so get a high floor.

Check in was smooth and they were able to accommodate a room change. I wish they would have taken a minute to see if I wanted to hear information about the hotel. I am traveling with family and it is always nice to hear about the pool, art exhibits, etc.

I've stayed in numerous rooms at this hotel. Rooms are always clean and well kept, but they do vary pretty widely in terms of size. The location is incredible (hear of downtown and steps from the water). The technology in the rooms is the only place I've had problems (broken hdmi ports, faulty usb ports, difficult televisions), otherwise the hotel has been great.

My cousin had their wedding reception using all three parts of the pinnacle ballroom.

All the staff working were quick and polite.
I worked on the av equipment for the night and needed more power for my speakers which the staff there was quick to run a power cord to two different locations.

The av company that they offer in this location is very knowledgeable but very expensive. The hotel was very accommodating with me renting from a different company and allowing us to setup a day in advance.

I had never had a window in a hotel room Bathroom in my life!!! It makes a world of difference, as it takes away the darkness of regular hotel room bathrooms. I ended up enjoying spending time in it, as opposed to quickly showing, etc.
The floor to ceiling bay windows caused my jaw to drop when I walked into the room. The fact that the bed faces the window; made it all that better!
So clean, too!!

We stayed the night before embarking on our Princess Cruise to Alaska. One of the most beautiful hotels and finest staffs. We had a terrific view with a balcony room. We were greeted and help to our room by a gentleman named Luther. His service during our stay was memorable. He recommended us to the nearby Carin Restaurant for a wonderful meal... And the best hot and sour soup I have ever had. He help me find nearby stores e.g., Hermes) for shopping. After a long day if travel from Chattanooga to Atlanta, to Toronto and then out to Vancouver, we could not have found better.
