Green Key Eco-Rating Program 5

With more than 1,200 hotels certified in Canada since its inception in the 1990s, the Green Key Eco-Rating Program awards hotels an environmental rating of one to five Green Keys. Green Key members are then given guidance on how to "unlock" opportunities to reduce operating costs and environmental impacts - and in turn earn more keys.

The Green Key audit looks at nine major areas of sustainable hotel operations:
• Energy conservation
• Water conservation
• Solid waste management
• Hazardous waste management
• Indoor air quality
• Community outreach
• Building infrastructure
• Land use
• Environmental management

LEED Gold

The Leadership in Energy and Environmental Design (LEED®) standard, developed by the U.S. Green Building Council (USGBC), recognizes best-in-class building strategies and practices. It certifies that green buildings meet standards of energy efficiency, conservation, and community sensitivity.

LEED-certified buildings reduce energy and water by as much as 40%. LEED-certified buildings save resources and have a positive impact on the health of occupants while promoting renewable, clean energy.

USGBC's rating system has four levels: Certified, Silver, Gold, and Platinum. Green Building Councils in other countries have similar programs.

This is by far my favorite hotel in Las Vegas. Its modern aesthetic is a breath of fresh air in comparison to most other hotels and resorts in the area (which tend to look dated and smell a smidge musty). The rooms are clean and there are so many nice features and amenities available. I will never not stay here while in Vegas.

No casino, which means no smoke! No loud gamblers messing up the peaceful ambience of this serene hotel. I love the cleanliness of the rooms, and the lobby itself was quiet with nice staff to check you into your room! We enjoyed the close proximity to Bellagio (7 min walk), which we frequented at night.

I've now stayed at most of the hotels on The Strip and I have to say, for the price, this is a favorite of mine. We booked a corner suite (for 6 girls total) and it had plenty of room. I ended up tipping more than usual for most of the employees I had encountered here.

Biggest gripe though would be access to Vdara to and from the strip. It's a little further back, just like the Aria. However, there is the Tram (have to walk through the Bellagio) and to just walk through the Aria. The place also only has one place to eat (a market place) in the actual hotel and no casino. Also, if sharing a room with people you hardly know, you will get to know them quickly. There is no door enclosing the toilet and it's next to the glass shower. There are doors to the actual bathroom, but when sharing with 6 girls, privacy wasn't an option.

I did book through a timeshare company, but monitored sales and deals for a couple of months before we went, it still had the best deal for the size and price. I will definitely consider staying here again.

I really considered 5 stars, especially with the level or service received and the Pool Cabana was a sweet deal with private pools for a section of 3-4 cabanas. (See review under Vdara Pool & Lounge) However, the inaccessibility to the strip, food and gambling makes it difficult for me to give 5 stars!

I really enjoyed staying in this hotel. Not having to walk through a nasty smoky casino everytime I leave my room was the best experience. I liked having a room that separated the kitchen area, bed, and couch. This made the room much more comfortable. The food was good and I enjoyed the roof top pool. I will be back.

Really enjoyed our stay! Incredible view on floor 53 and our room was spacious. The bed very comfortable and great shower and bathroom. We paid extra for the lounge which was fantastic. Breakfast was great and wine and appetizers also special. I was able to work in the lounge every day for several hours which really helped. The staff were all very helpful and efficient and loved staying in a smoke free and gambling free environment yet close enough to walk everywhere. Can't wait to return.

Honestly the best hotel room I've ever stayed in. We got the Fountain View Studio suite and the 180 degree+ view is more spectacular than I expected with an entire wall being a window. The room itself is huge and the bathroom has a tub big enough even for taller and wider people. The staff have been excellent as well. I will definitely stay again on any future visits to Vegas! One con that might be very important to people: there is no complimentary coffee here. It seems they are hoping people will buy Starbucks instead.

My favorite hotel in all of Vegas. The spa is amazing and the atmosphere is super relaxing. The rooms are very spacious, staying in the corner executive suite gave us 2 bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer/dryer and an amazing view of the surrounding. The fact it has no casino helps keep the relaxed and spa like feel.

Amazing hotel here. Had a great experience. Such a shame I didn't spend more time at the hotel pool or spa. Friendly staff and nicely stocked fridge.

Scotch in the fridge is Johnnie Walker Black, if you're wondering. Good, respectable choice for scotch.

Though, I wish it wasn't so darn pricey

Beautiful place to stay when in Vegas, you are in the middle of the city center and ask for a fountain view room. The water shows were fantastic. Great food all around you. I would suggest taking a Lyft from place to place unless you have no problem walking in 100+ degree weather. It is a very dry heat so you need to drink lots of water. Would highly recommend the Vdara hotel and spa.

If you stay at the Vdara, please upgrade or book a corner suite. My senses were in overdrive. The views are amazing...day and night. The suites come with a washer drier, kitchen, king bed and pull out sofa bed. The bath is big enough for 2 and there’s a shower too. The pictures really don’t do it justice. Check in was a breeze and the lady was very helpful. I did tip $20, not because I wanted a free upgrade etc, just because I felt she was extremely helpful. Valet parking is straight forward, check out the same. Go stay there!

Beautiful, super clean hotel. No casino; which I loved! (No smoke, no noise...) I loved the smell of the toiletries. Good quality too. Great pillows! 4 different softness levels.

Had excellent corner suite with fantastic view. Had a full kitchen with full size appliances including washer\dryer. Had dinner table that seated 6. And NO kitchenware - no plates, bowls, utensils, or pots\pan. You could call down and order plates, utensils etc but you had to specify everything wanted! In my mind h it was unbelievable!

This was an amazing hotel!!! If you want to be able to enjoy Vegas without all of the Casino and smoke in the lobby, stay here. We had such an amazing time. The only annoying thing was the Uber pick up location, they kept getting lost. But I loved the fact that when you came back to the hotel, you didn't have to deal with all of the Casino smoke and crowds in the lobby to get to your room. We had an Executive Suite. Amazing time for my birthday!!

Very nice experience at Vdara. Beautiful, clean room. Robot that delivers some items from the market was a fun thing to try.

I was really impressed when our AC stopped working. We called the front desk and explained the problem. A maintenance guy came within 10 minutes and had it fixed within 10 minutes after that. So happy with how that worked out.

The staff have been nothing but friendly and helpful. The available amenities and proximity to the strip are awesome. The rooms are great, we had a wonderful view. There wasn't a coffee maker, which puzzled me. The elevators are wonderfully fast as well. We've stayed before and will likely do so again.

Vdara has a beautifully designed hotel for the more laid back traveller. There are no casinos, buffet or malls. This makes travelling to and from the hotel pleasant because there are no crowded areas. Dogs up to 80 lbs can stay at a price of $50 extra a night. I stayed in the suite over looking the Belaggio fountains. Friendly staff, beautiful room, valet parking which gives you access to three three other hotels. Connects to tram and other hotels. Has spa and pool.

Having visited other condo-hotels as well as owned one, this is by far the nicest I've experienced. Being that its one year older than the Palms Place, it's in much better condition than it. The interior design is unique and boasts a world class spa. Although there isn't gaming on the premises, the Cosmo and Aria are a short walk away. The tram is also very convenient to hop from one hotel to another.

We stayed here for the first time this past weekend. We stayed in a Fountain View Suite which was quite nice. It was spacious and as the name suggests, had a great view. We did not eat at any of the restaurants, but we did spend some time at the pool. Wait staff were very friendly despite being a bit slow. The only (minor) knock against this place is that there is no casino, although you can access the casinos at the Aria, Bellagio and Cosmopolitan with very little effort. Overall, it was a great place to stay and we would not hesitate to stay here again.

Spent one night at Vdara. Very luxurious accommodations, even for their most basic room. Comfortable bed, although the foldout couch bed want too great. Also a sparsity of extra sheets. Bathroom was clean and roomy. The hotel itself is very clean and modern. Great view out the window, as well. Would stay again!

This is the nicest room I've ever stayed in. The first picture is from the outside. The second picture is from our room window. I was blown away how nice this hotel was. I wish I had more time to spend there. The restaurants were amazing and all of the service was phenomenal.

If you go to Las Vegas this is the place to stay. Our room was spacious and clean. Great view from the 27 th floor. My wife was injured while we were at one of the other casinos and the Hotel Staff was fantastic with helping my wife and providing us with a wheelchair for her to use during our stay!!!
We will definitely be back..

Pure luxury at it's finest! One of the best hotels I've ever been in! Service from top to bottom was amazing from customer service staff and the room service wasn't that bad good food but very expensive. It's better to go to the cafe downstairs. This hotel is pet-friendly although I never had a pet I noticed quite a few dogs coming in and out of the hotel and I asked about it. The downside is you have to walk to the area to go gambling. If it's raining or it's extremely hot you'll have to walk out in the sun / weather for a few minutes 🤣

Great hotel for the price. Front desk, pool and concierge staff were super polite and helpful. We LOVED that it’s nonsmoking and doesn’t have a casino but you’re just a short walk from Aria and Bellagio. The room was perfect and a great space for two people. The view wasn’t bad either.

Great place to stay and relax. The room was very spacious and very roomy to enjoy. Our first time staying at the Vdara and was very satisfied with the resort. The staff was wonderful and very attentive to our needs. A big shout out to Alejandra at the pool and Brittany for doing a great cleaning our room.

Excellent hotel, the stay was just great. The big rooms are very modern, stylish and clean. I loved it! The view across the Bellagio fountain and the strip was amazing, at daytime and nighttime. Best hotel I've ever stayed in. The view was amazing. Hotel is very clean and has a calm atmosphere. Perfect for relaxing. This is a smoke-free facility and has no casino in it but there is one in Bellagio which connects to Vdara and the entrance to Aria is just feet away. I would definitely stay here again!

Concierge helpful, but we were missing towels and front desk said that they would send someone to get more and to expand our sofa bed. It took nearly an hour for someone to show up. If I had stayed at a Hampton inn, it'd probably be much faster.

But aside from that the hotel is pretty good. Be aware that self parking is off site and valet parking is on site.

The moment you step in the place is beautiful. Staff is very friendly and does their best to serve you. The room is just spotless and comfy. The room is well worth the price we are paying. If you decide to get room sevice, you won't be disappointed. They bring the food, set up your table, and the server is very nice.

Fantastic location just far enough off the main strip that you dont feel overwhelmed. Our room, a panorama suite, was top quality with amenities that made it even more comfortable. The check-in process was smooth and efficient however the "you are important to us" feeling that you might expect from a high end resort wasn't quite all there. Spa experience was exquisite and definitely felt pampered while never rushed or pushed to 'keep it moving' Overall, I'd certainly return.

The Room itself was fantastic. Room service was AWFUL!! Food selection is so limited. The mashed potatoes (something super simple) was in a pool of oil! It was disgusting.

The staff was so nice and courteous but seriously the food was just the worst!!

I’m in Vegas! When I come back to my room at 2am I want FOOD! Not over cooked chicken breast with oily potatoes... really???

Vdara is amazingly clean and the workers are friendly. My favorite place that I've stayed in Vegas. Only downside is that there is no self parking. All valet only. The closest parking lot is quite a walk if you don't want to valet for 30 bucks a night. Other than that, the place is awesome. Smoke free and the place to be.

I like Vdara, sometimes we stay there. So far it has been good. Except, last time we stayed there, I noticed lack of house keeping in the rooms and hallways. Rooms r nice, it is quiet in the lobby. It is a spa hotel rather than gambling. Nice bar area. Simple but sufficient cafe.
Great location. Always good people at the reception desk. I ll go back only if they do not lack in house keeping.

Our room was spectacular. Modern and spacious with a corner view. Service was great and the location is a two minute walk to the strip. Smells great and check in was easy and quick because the hotel doesn't have a casino. Only thing we didn't like was that parking was $30 per day.

We like Vdara very much and return here when we visit Las Vegas. Prices are "Vegas-reasonable." No smoking and no casino at the front door are our favorite features. The spa and massage experience is excellent. Staff is professional and friendly throughout the hotel. Aria Hotel & Casino is across the circle drive, so we think Vdara offers the best of both worlds.

Great hotel. Comfortable beds but i thought pillows were too soft. If there's more than one I think one should be a bit firmer. No casino here but fairly easy access to bellagio and aria. Plenty of food options, shows, the tram and shopping. Nice view from my room. No kitchen supplies in the room so you'll need to request what you want. The room was cleaned daily. The bathroom was nice and tub was a welcome addition. There are dimmers on some lights so adjust to your liking.

Enjoyed vdara a lot. It's set back from the strip and is not smokey like other hotels. Room was big and nice. We had a great view of the mountains. Bathroom had a nice shower and huge tub. overall I would definitely come back. Also they had a robot who could bring you stuff and the downstairs bar had great drinks.

Hands-down the best hotel stay I've had in Las Vegas. Gorgeous hotel, amazing, quiet rooms. Extremely clean, and ultra-professional staff. Pool area is fantastic, and although it lacks all the crazy attractions the larger hotels on the strip does, it's proximity to all those things is perfect. This is the place to stay on the strip if you want to be in the center of all the action, but also have a nice spot to retreat to for a break.

Very modern, comfortable, clean, and centrally-located hotel. The room was very large and comfortable. The bar was always lively and well-staffed. It was nice to be centrally located on the Strip but not have the noise associated with a casino. I would definitely stay here again.

Vdara is amazing. It's attained that perfect balance of luxurious and comfortable that's so hard to achieve. Pros include great views, large soaking tubs, decent beds, and homey amenities. The only mildly negative I'd say is that there needs to be more restaurants in Vdara. You have to hoof it over to Aria or the cosmopolitan if you want decent food.

Beautiful rooms with great amenities like kitchenette, view of the mountains, and electric shades for the windows. One of the only hotels without a casino, so it's smoke free and easy to get to the elevators/rooms. Only two restaurant options, but pretty outdoor patio space for dining. Easy walk to Cosmopolitan, Bellagio, or Aria for other options. Loved our stay. Great service.

The room and view were very nice. We could see the fireworks from the top of the Aria during new year's. There were love musicians playing covers at night in the lobby. No casino if that matters to you.The phone in the room didn't work. No other complaints really. Overall a good place to stay.

Clean rooms and beautiful views and good for families because there's no casino. The mandatory valet parking is a giant pain since sometimes you have to wait upwards of half an hour to get your car. It also costs $25 a day. The valets are great, but are run ragged when everyone is trying to check out. Stayed here three times and was given a complementary upgrade the first two times, but not the third. Will most likely try another hotel next time.

We stayed at the 27th floor for two nights. The view is breathtaking. You can see the entire Vegas skyline from Vdara. Check-in and check-out was a breeze and the front desk staff was very nice and helpful. We called Vdara customer care also before check-in to confirm a few things and they were very knowledgeable and helpful. Also they have a light music program every evening which is good.

No casino, no second hand smoke - yet easy access to the Bellagio's back entrance.

Love the modern/high tech style of the rooms. An oasis on the strip.

Great Chicken and Waffles at breakfast as well.

Classy and elegant - great if you need an escape from the strip.

Location was good. At the center of the strip only about a 5 minute walk to the Bellagio. The room was very spacious and the view was absolutely amazing. No bath robes or toothbrush and toothpaste. We only used the House cleaning service which they tidied up everything. I would definitely recommend this hotel compared to all the other luxurious 5 stars that are more expensive!

Beautiful hotel, second time staying. Probably will stay here anytime I visit. Reserved a studio suite and when checking in was able to get upgraded to a corner suite overlooking the strip. Room had laundry of washer/dryer separate living room with pull out sofa sleeper full size fridge dishwasher cooktop and microwave. Beautiful room bed is super comfy bathroom spacious shower and tub separate. Also had a half bathroom in this room. Beautiful room and hotel.

Too yuppie for me. Toilet broken. Had a kitchen, but no plates, cups, flatware, etc. No self parking, every time you need something from the car or use your car, you've got to tip. Need a fork, tip. Parking $25. In 3 days parking & tipping was over $200. Took me by surprise. View was nice.

Very nice rooms, view and staff. The hotel was clean and modern. I stayed in a suite and it had a washer, dryer, full size fridge, cook top and a dishwasher. It would be nice if maybe they stocked the room with a pot/ pan to use the cook top. The location of the Hotel was perfect! We could walk everywhere! It's so convenient!

This is a great hotel to stay at if you are not interested in gambling but still want to be near the strip. This means less people waiting in line for check in, and more personable service. I stayed here for a software conference and every member of the staff was friendly, helpful, and courteous. I utilized the front desk three times, the bellman once, and the cleaning staff twice. All provided outstanding service.

The room also was a bit different than you'll find in other Las Vegas resorts. There was a small kitchenette with an actual refrigerator that you could store items in, and a small cook top. The resort provided free small bottles of water that the cleaning staff replenished in the fridge daily. There was no cooking accouterments provided in the room, but the front desk staff let me know that I could request those items if needed.

Overall the room was very clean, the bed slept very well, and the shower worked quite well - lots of hot water and the drain was fast (this is a pet peeve of mine in hotels - a slow shower drain). I am looking forward to my next stay at VDARA.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

My wife and 2 of our friends stayed at Vdara for 2 nights. First off, I deducted a star due to how complicated it was to find self parking as Vdara does not have it's own park lot which means you need to park at Aria and take the tram; additionally, self parking is not free but $15 a day. Other than that, Vdara rooms were nice and clean. The customer service was overall friendly. The swimming pool is a bit on the smaller side, but the jacuzzi is nice and clean. The location of the hotel is not great, but still close enough to the strip, but tram is needed to travel basically everywhere besides Aria. I personally would recommend Aria over Vdara as it a bit more convenient.

Some light fixtures broken in the room. It was spacious and clean, though. Comes with a kitchenette and cookware if you ask the front desk. We had free bottles of water in the room (I believe for being an M Life member, the free rewards program for all MGM owned hotels). Hotel is quiet and clean due to no casino and no smoking, but has easy access to Bellagio via walkway, Aria via walkway & tram, and Monte Carlo via tram. Walking to the strip, you must walk through The Cosmopolitan. Parking is also $15 a day.

Modern, up to date rooms with all the conveniences. Close to the Aria. Smoke free, casino free hotel...very nice. Great hospitality and does have a quick cafe for when you need a quick bite..and a bar. Only negative as with most of these hotels...missing the in room coffee. Definitely recommend this hotel.

Very nice. Most everything had been great. One complaint, and it is rather impactful (I still likely not stay here again because of it). Several of my co-workers and myself prefer to workout after work. To our surprise, your gym closes at 8pm. This is the city that never sleeps. Why in the world would you close the gym at 8?

A great hotel. The rooms have a small kitchen, living room and 2 TVs. The bathroom had a large tub and separate shower. There was plenty of storage room in closet and dresser. Decor is modern but comfortable. It was the perfect choice for my business trip: no smoking, off the strip, but close enough to walk there. The cafe was well stocked as was the bar. All staff was friendly and efficient.
There were some minor issues (very minor): no hand towels, and no coffee maker in the room.

Vdara is a non-smoking, no gambling hotel part of the Aria campus. It's nice inside, very modern not has limited restaurant options. Pool is also a lot smaller than Aria's pool. So keep all of this in mind when booking. Good for kids or anyone who wants to get out of the main activity.

Loved it!! Room service food was amazing too! Rooms were beautiful and they go out of their way to make my dog welcome! Including a little gift bag for her and a delicious pet menu. And a secure dog park directly across from the entry. I'll definitely be back and spend more time there since they have pet sitting.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around...

Clean room and comfy bed. Had a junior suite and expected two beds as my wife and I have a 4 year old and our agent knew this, but Vdara claim to have no rooms with twin beds or similar. We instead had to use the sofa pullout, which is not as comfortable as the main bed. That said, this was a fault if the agent, not the hotel.
Food is good but the wait is long, especially for breakfast. We ordered parts cakes, waffles and granola and had around a 40 minute wait, whilst other customers ordering burritos etc were served before us. My wife also ordered toast but the bread was only taste in one side. I'll put this down to the breakfast rush.
All in all, good to stay in a hotel that's family friendly and without a casino

Arrived before check-in time, they still quickly stowed my group's bags and gave us a key for the lounge and pool. Got our room and champagne was waiting, someone had heard us talking about our birthday next weekend, never directly mentioned it to anyone either. Our friends room ended up having others in it when they showed up, so they were upgraded to a top floor suite and currently we are still learning about more comps. So far so good. Treating guests well certainly is on the menu here!

The rooms are nice and comfy. Unfortunately, during our stay housekeeping didn't come to clean up at all, despite having the green light on for it. The hotel has a nice powdery smell associated with it when you walk in (slightly refreshing because there's no smell of smoke anywhere!) The rooms are nice although feel a bit small, and having pots or pans in the room already avalible would be nice. Having a kitchen is only useful if you have plates and pots/pans!

The Vdara is a classy and luxurious hotel. There's a business executive feel to the entire place. The suite had a kitchenette living area and large restroom with shower and tub. I've stayed at several five star hotels in different locations and this so far has surpassed all. I was very impressed with the decor, large windows and nice views. There's plenty of space to spread out your things and feel comfortable. This made it difficult to leave. I'd highly recommend this hotel and will be returning next time I'm in Vegas.

Vdara is great in that it doesn't stink like cigarettes. The rooms are newer and clean, and the views are nice. A great place to stay if you want to be near the strip but without the nasty scent of Vegas burned into your nostrils. Staff is friendly and helpful. Would definitely recommend

The hotel was beautiful, the rooms were large and very comfortable. I love the windows since they span the entire room for an amazing view. The shades are controlled electronically, and you have a shade or blackout. The kitchen was large, and any cooking requirements (pots, pans, cooking utensils) were brought at my request in a timely manner. The bed was inviting, super comfortable and neatly made upon my arrival. The couches were a little firm but what did that matter, I was visiting Vegas baby!! I absolutely recommend staying at this hotel. NOTE: there are no tables/machines. Just cross a bridge and you are in business for playing!

Location is just off the Strip, but can be accessed via The Aria Hotel. The room we had was a Studio and was incredibly spacious with a kitchen, stove top, microwave and mini refrigerator. The only thing I don't understand is why there is a stove top when there is no kettle or pots to actually put ON the stove top... Bathroom is lovely with deep tub and shower with a seated area. There is also a little dining table for comfortable eating.

Definitely seems a lot nicer than it actually is. What's up with having a kitchenette without any plates or cutlery? Who packs that stuff for Vegas. The salon was great, but I wasn't very impressed with the hotel itself. I imagine a spa resort with robes and great service. I've gotten more luxury at a Hampton Inn. The Motor City Hotel in Detroit is more luxurious than this. Not horrible, but not impressive. I would only stay again if the rate was really cheap.

I've stayed in this hotel 4 times and I love it. It's non-smoking and always quiet and clean. The personnel is really friendly and good. I've never had bad experiences with this hotel - but the last time on our last day of our visit we came back to our suit at around half past 8 pm and had to wait over 40 minutes till the room was cleaned up and ready. We've heard the ladies talking and talking and after we finally entered our room I found my make up bag open (!!!) and they also forgot to give us new stuff like lotion and shampoo.

Great hotel that is NON SMOKING. No casino but there are some very close by. The Staff is courteous and friendly. They smiled a lot! The room is very nice. Great little kitchen. (You have to request supplies. I do not know if there is a charge. There is a $20 daily charge for coffee maker.) The pool is beautiful. Bring sunblock. A lot of sunblock. You CAN NOT take a can or plastic bottle of soda in the pool area. They will give you a cup to pour it into. You CAN take in a Starbucks cup of coffee or other drink from there. That is part of reason for only 4 stars. That and $20 coffee pot fee. Parking is $25 a day if you bring a car. That also gives you FREE parking at any other MGM property. We will stay here again. Oh yeah, I will say that the food served at the pool is good. The value is too. We had chips, salsa, and guacamole, good size. Was $11.91 with tax. We also had loaded nachos $20 with tip and tax. They were both good. The fries we saw go by looked amazing. As did the fruit plate and hamburger.

Location is a little off the strip, but it's not too bad once you figure out the best path to get there. The tram makes it a lot easier to go south on the trip though. The room we have is fantastic (the bed is so comfortable) and the service is great. I love that it's a completely non smoking environment. The only reason I gave it 4 stars is because if you want to order anything off their room service, the prices are through the roof. A bottle of water, for example, is $9. Maybe that is typical room service pricing but I can't understand why it's so expensive.

The staff here are very friendly and professional.

We stayed in one of the corner suites which. I strongly suggest if you are staying more than two nights. We had views of the strip, partially of the Bellagio fountain, and the mountains. It was really nice taking a bath during sunset with the gorgeous views of the mountains.

I will be staying here again!

Although it was suggested as a 5 star hotel, the Vdara has aged. It is more likely a 4 star, at a 4-star price. We had issues with the plumbing first thing. We called down to the front desk to have it fixed, and they sent up an "engineer" who basically cleared the drains and called it good. At least the showered drained after that. There was trash on the floor when we got the room, which made us wonder how well it had been cleaned. The rooms are plenty big though, and somewhat modern.

Nice hotel but definitely not 5 star worthy. Rooms are nice but not very clean. Many remnants of former guests hidden around the room. Filthy Windows. We had a panaramic suite which while nice and modern, has become the norm in most decent Vegas hotels. The location of the hotel itself is a problem because it sits behind a few tall buildings. There is no true view of the strip...just a peek here and there. We did appreciate the fact that it's quieter than most strip hotels. I haven't heard a peep or a door slam in 4 days. Staff is friendly but food options are very limited. You will eat somewhere else. As far as the appliances in your room, the fridge is great, the rest is a complete waste of space. Dishwasher? Stove? I'm sure a few will use but only a select few. All in all, a nice place but there is absolutely nothing that makes this a place to go out of your way for. 3.5/5.

Very nice Vegas hotel located within walking distance to the Aria and Cosmopolitan, and a free tram that led to the Monte Carlo. As this hotel does not have a casino, the rates are more reasonable, yet the amenities are still great. They have a nice indoor/outdoor bar area in the lobby and a nice, intimate pool. Most of the rooms have good views of the strip, including views of the Bellagio fountains. The staff was also very friendly and accommodating. Highly recommended!

I love staying at Vdara! No gaming means that I don't need to walk through a smoke filled casino every time I want to go to my room. I really enjoyed this place. It is slightly back from the strip so it is much quieter. Also there is no casino and it is a non smoking building which makes the whole place very comfortable to be in. The staff were all very friendly and accommodating. The pool area looks very nice as well. It has a bar and a spot to buy sunscreen. I've been to Vegas over a dozen times and the Vdara has become my favorite place to stay. The rooms are very large and include a kitchenette, two TVs, large shower and bath, and a panoramic view or the strip (as well as the Bellagio fountains if you upgrade). There is no casino and no smoking so the atmosphere is more relaxed and upscale. The fitness center and pool are both phenomenal and I've enjoyed using both every day that I've been here. Would highly recommend!

Out of all the hotels I have stayed at I Vegas this by far is the best place. Love the fact that there is no casino so it is quieter. The staff there have the best customer service in Vegas starting with the front desk to the cleaning service. Everyone smiles and goes out of their way to make sure you have the best experience. The hotel is a little more pricey but it is so worth it! My only complaint is it is a little of a pain to get to driving wise with the multiple times and ramp set up. But, it doesn't deter from the experience.

I stayed there early March. I was attending a convention at the Mandala Bay but their rooms there were way too expensive in my opinion ($350/night). A coworker of mine told me about the Vdara and I instantly LOVED the fact that they were NOT a casino but that meant no smoke smell.
I booked through hotels.com and got a suite for less than $200night.
The bedroom was gigantic, huge and really bathroom, stayed on the 52nd floor which offered a really nice view.
Check in went smoothly, every staff member I talked to was very helpful and nice. They have a Starbucks in the lobby, as well as little market place.
I highly recommend this hotel if you are not coming to Vegas to gamble!

Vdara was a nice change of pace for the whole Las Vegas scene. No drunks stumbling around and constantly running into you. There is no smoking and no casino which sounded like a negative at first but when 2am rolls around it is like a home away from home! The meeting rooms were excellent. Overall, I was pleasantly surprised. My main issue and is that the only real way to easily access the hotel is through the Bellagio. This is fine if you want to always walk home through there, but also annoying when you need to strategize about a way to get home at night. If the accessibility was improved, 5 stars...

Overall it's nice. Our room had full kitchen, but there were no plates or silverware, etc. There were connections in the cabinet to plug in a steaming media player, etc., but they didn't work. I've stayed in other hotels with similar connections and never had an issue. The bathroom was large and luxurious with dual sinks. The bed was very comfortable. The elevator made scraping sounds and there were cobwebs on the elevator ceiling. This is not my favorite place on the strip, but I'd stay here again.

To me the room was perfect. 29 odd foot of window space with automatic curtains , well spread out with plenty of space , and a large stand up shower with good pressure and very hot water was an ideal setting to relax after business meeting before hitting the casino floors.

Vdara was a nice change of pace compared to the normal hustle and bustle. This is the place to stay in Vegas if
1. You like to avoid cigarette smoke
2. You don't need a casino in your hotel

This is NOT the place to stay if

4. You lack the self-control to stay out of the automatic mini-bar

Beautiful structure and architecture, finishes, amd convenience to the Las Vegas Strip. This sister hotel to the Aria loses one star simply due to the fact that it is small and, while it boasts a Starbucks and a very nice indoor/outdoor lounge called Vice Versa (very worth checking out as it is somewhat low key compared to its counterparts in other buildings and is a more intimate place to chat), does not offer all of the restaurants and casino you would find in most of the other surrounding hotels.
This may be considered a plus, but it is subjective.

I love the Vdara. There is no casino so it's quiet and it doesn't take 20 min just to get to the room. They have a great gym that's easily accessible. Great location, casino free so not too noisy, a nice market/restaurant thats open fairly late and a beautiful building. The only reason I did not give it 5 stars is because housekeeping is way too much of a hassle. If you request it, get ready to wait over an hour before it gets done after being told several times they would be " right up ". Overall I would stay here again and recommend it because its wonderfully located. You can access several other hotels without ever stepping foot into the scorching heat.

The Vdara is positioned comfortably off of the main strip, making it simple to access by vehicle, and a comfortable walk the strip. Our suite, and especially the restroom, was very spacious and comfortable. Hotel services were extremely accommodating to our frequent requests (I'm pretty sure the bellman did not appreciate how slow we were to get our luggage ready, but he didn't show it). I would definitely recommend the Vdara for families vacationing in Vegas.

We just got back from Las Vegas and would stay in the Vadara Again! We loved it. Room was clean. No old bedspreads that others have laid on! Nice crisp clean white sheet type spreads. The room was immaculate. Kitchen was nice for a quick meal. We asked for a fry pan, plates and cups. Went to Walgreen and picked up eggs, bagels and instant coffee packets. ( coffee maker and supplies $20. a night! ) we enjoyed a nice breakfast every day. ( put a small bottle of Dawn in my carry on) no big deal. we did our dishes and did not leave them for the housekeeper. Great safe in the room! soaker tub! bed comfortable! we slept great! All services we encountered were great! I cant understand how people would rate this hotel less than a 4 star! Pool closed at 5 pm. would have liked that to be open a bit later, but oh well! Nothing against the Vadara, but the hotel fee. of 32 plus tax a night sucked. Especially since we never got to use a towel from the pool area. ( maybe they need to reduce that free a bit since the pool hours are so limited. ) the entire hotel is non smoking! Yeah! perfect for us non smokers! And people seeking some quiet form the rat race! Vadara just steps away from the Aria. Highly recommend if you are not a party animal!

So far, so good. The front desk lost our room upgrade, but that was remedied without too much hassle. I would like it more if the kitchens included basic items like dish soap, a coffee maker/mugs. The in suite fridge is too small to be functional. But other than that the suite is comfortable, has a great view, and the hotel has an ideal location. I would stay here again.
