Nice place especially. You love wine. I don’t so didn’t get to enjoy some of its specific amenities geared toward winos. Overall a nice spot with a good location.

If anybody is trying to find good deals for hotels visit HotelBuIIy. com booked a hotel on there and they had the best rates anywhere!

The desk agent talked to fast. I made the reservation and then all of a sudden it was not about me. It was about my husband even though this trip was not on his card.

We attended a dinner at the hotel restaurant. It was a private party (upstairs) with a set menu, served family style. Every single course was delicious (not just good), the drinks were both tasty and strong, and the service was stellar. Would highly recommend for a private event, as well as for a nice meal.

Avoid if you have sensitive skin; the soaps and linens were definitely an issue. Showerhead was completely clogged do it didn't work will. But the bed was otherwise comfy and everything seemed clean, and they had water set out for visiting dogs. Staff is very friendly.

It's a nice location. Far enough away from the tourist areas and the panhandlers. But close enough to walk to the interesting spots. Small hotel room for the price but I guess it's location location location. Bed is very firm which I love.

6

Great hotel and location. 3 star because they charge you a $17 fee per day for usage of phones, wifi, and gym. Fee is mandatory, regardless of usage. No mention of this this at check-in or check-out, reservation receipt, and was not mentioned when I booked through the chase portal (could be Chase's fault?).

Overall, I am not angry I have to pay a fee. I am angry that it is a surprise. The "free" coffee in the morning and the wine hour were great perks. Would be a 5 star review if hotel added all "fees" into the nightly cost instead of implementing shady ways to charge guests extra.

Had a great time staying here when I was in Seattle. It’s a really amazing hotel with great access to downtown and pike place. They also have an amazing wine hour from 5-6 pm where they serve you free wine in the lobby. Service was excellent and room service was on point.

They have an attached Italian restaurant which serves me amazing fettuccini. Will highly recommend!

Friendly and helpful staff. Very cute lobby that fits a lot of resources into a small space. Well located for walking to lots of Seattle hot spots. Rooms are on the smaller side but don't feel cramped.

We stayed in a king bed suite (Naches Heights Vineyard). The room was spacious compared to some of the other hotels we've frequented. The staff at the front desk was extremely helpful considering we came in 5 hours before check in. Cheryl had our bags stored until our room was ready so we could do some sight seeing without having to worry about our luggage. Shopping and dining are within walking distance. They also have complementary wine in the evening. The room included two terry cloth robes, a yoga mat, and an umbrella which was a nice touch for an area that gets rain quite a bit. Well definitely consider this hotel again on our next visit to Seattle.

My experience was wonderful! After a day enjoying the city, my boyfriend surprised me with an over night stay downtown. Having packed nothing, we arrived at the hotel with only what we had with us. Upon check-in and hearing our story, we were upgraded to a king room and given a goodie bag filled with tooth brushes, tooth paste, razors and even a small bottle of contact solution and a contact case! The front desk attendant was sincere and accommodating. Our room was quiet and well equipped. The bed and pillows were extremely comfortable too. My only gripe was the thermostat; it seemed to be there for decorative purposes only. We set it as low as it would allow, but it ignored us and would continually reset, loudly, to a temperature that made the room too warm for a good night's sleep. We had a cocktail at the bar and was delighted by and impressed with the bar tender who invented a cocktail just for me. He was entertaining, too. Aside from that I was very impressed and loved our impromptu get away hotel. I'd stay there again in a heartbeat.

It is a nice place to stay. If you are expecting 4 Star amenities those are present but they don't go above and beyond. I had some 3.5 stars which were better. It is at a good location. They charge certain fees that is not clear. Like I was charged 17.4$ for fees which were not mentioned during check-in. I did not use the facilities that I got for the fees. They need to be more transparent.

Friendly staff and clean rooms. As soon as I checked in, Kaylee at the front desk made me feel incredibly welcome. I had some amazing talks at wine hour (which was complimentary) and afterwards was able to walk to many local bars and spots in the city. Also the beds may just be the most comfortable beds I've ever slept in. I can't wait to stay at the Vintage again and will highly recommend it to anyone who wants to stay in Seattle in style.

The staff here is so welcoming and kind! The lobby has a nice fireplace that made my cold wintery visit so much better. If the weather fares, borrow one of their complimentary bikes and go for a ride along the water, then come back for the daily wine tasting at 5pm! Definitely booking a stay here again on my next trip to Seattle.

The room sizes are smaller than some of the other older downtown hotels in Seattle, but they make up for it in practical use of space and a modern look. The beds and pillows were top notch by my standards, which I take very seriously. Water pressure, shower, and bathrooms were all very solid. They had free happy hours that I was sure to take advantage of.

I’m a big Kimpton fan and this has been my least favorite property. Fitness gym is tiny in the basement with no windows. Bathrooms need a remodel urgently, dated and inefficient. Restaurant in property had poor food quality and long wait time for food. Lastly, first time they charge an “amenity fee” explaining it is for lobby amenities and “free” wine hour. I haven’t been charged this before at any other Kimpton hotel. Service was very good as usual and people meant well, that’s why I’m giving it at least 3 stars, because of its people.

$45/night parking fee, $15/night convenience fee ON TOP of your room charge which is tremendous for what you get. You pay an additional resort fee as well to include access to the gym and car to go and some other "perks" but no one tells you what they are or that they are available. We found out only when we looked at our bill and I'm still mad about it! Very hard bed, with bad pillows. Sheets are rough and just old. The shower was bad, very little pressure and questionably clean. 6-7 strands of other people's hair. Hand prints on the ceilings. No options for hot water or coffee/tea in room. Given the $45/night parking fee, $15/night convenience fee ON TOP of your room charge which is tremendous for what you get. The shower was bad, very little pressure and questionably clean. 6-7 strands of other people's hair and a lot of soap scum marks higher up in the walls. Hand and splatter prints all over the doors, which opens dangerously close to the toilet...gag. Hand prints on the ceilings. No options for hot water or coffee/tea in room. They give you wine/water glasses but they are not sani-wrapped and no evidence of cleanliness. Given The price and proximity of other well known hotels in the area I would not rebook at this location. I'm quite dissatisfied.

We had drinks and food here. We do not stay in this hotel. My drink in the bar was really good. The food in the restaurant is amazing. I had the sweet potato gnocchi and a salad and my husband had a steak. And we were both extremely satisfied with our food. I will definitely return!

This was a great place to stay! The room was clean, quiet and nice. The staff was always ready to assist and even helped me retrieve a pair of jeans I had left in the room! They host wine tastings in the evenings in their cozy front lobby room and have crisp cucumber water for the guests! They offer doggy-care if you bring furry friends along and can’t take them out with you. There are quite a few little touches that make it a nice place to stay.

Quaint hotel in a great location. The staff is friendly, professional and very accommodating. The Hotel has Wine theme that includes everything from the decor (cork headboards, vineyard named rooms) to the scheduled and unscheduled tastings. They have elevator parking only, so be prepared to use the valet.

I feel like I really lucked up with this place. It was central to everything I needed and they actually let me check in at 9am the day I got in! My room came with all kinds of bonuses after I signed up for their free rewards program - a $10 credit for the mini or hotel bar and $30 towards spa services.

The massage I had was great but I did deduct one star because when the company called to reschedule my appointment (which was inconvenient for me), they neglected to tell me that the hot stone massage I'd ordered was unavailable. Instead of asking me which other service I might like - or offering to let me cancel - they chose another package for me. This gave the masseus and I an awkward start because I had no idea. And initially I was pretty ticked because I really only ordered a massage to try the hot stones. I likely would've cancelled the appointment had I known, or simply opted for the least expensive one. Anyway, she did a great job, but I am still irritated with the company about the lack of communication.

Everything else was great! The room was larger than I expected and I enjoyed a great bubble bath with some Lush bath bombs. The bed was super comfy, and the bar and snacks offered a great assortment.

The room was very nice! The location was prime and very close to Pike Place Market which was the main reason of my visit to Seattle. Enjoyed my stay thoroughly! I did not use most of the service from the hotel, so no comments there. Friendly staff though!

Great little boutique hotel in the heart of downtown Seattle - walking distance to everything downtown. Clean room, nice interior, and very friendly staff. The only turn off about the room was the shower pressure in the bath. All in all a great experience, would stay here again!

Best experience. Attentive staff, nice facility, has it’s own style. The wine service at 5pm is fantastic, and a great chance to meet your neighbors. Don’t stay here if you need modern construction or huge rooms. The older building is renovated well, but the rooms are not huge, and no pool. The staff goes the extra mile, so it’s my favorite downtown Seattle hotel.

I love the Alexis and Monaco in Seattle (my usual haunts) and this was my first time at the Vintage so that is my comparison. The staff was friendly and accommodating and the room was very clean and well appointed. However the lobby is miniscule (I passed on the wine reception as there was no place to sit) and the room was one of the smallest American rooms I have stayed in. I liked it but I will go back to my favorites.

This Kimpton met all of our expectations during our recent visit to Seattle. The staff is very welcoming and the accommodations are clean and comfortable. We recently stayed overnight @ the Kimpton Hotel Vintage in downtown Seattle & we couldn't have been more satisfied. We began by parking in the hotel facilities. All parking is valet @about $42 per night with a half off break for hybrid or electric vehicles. The front desk staff was friendly and attentive. They actually read our reservation note that it was our anniversary & gave us a complimentary room upgrade & bottle of champagne. The rooms were nicely appointed with a Bluetooth speaker, ways to stream your video to the TV and thick robes. My only nitpick was the lack of multiple electrical outlets near the nightstands. The following morning we had brunch in the adjacent restaurant Tulio and again had a pleasant experience. Overall, we will now look to stay @other Kimpton properties and will recommend them to our friends and family.

This was one of the most cozy hotels in which I've stayed! I was first struck by the high ceilings, spacious room and extremely comfortable bed. The cherry on the cake was the free wine hour in the evening, the easy access to the Tulio restaurant and the boutique feel.

I've stayed in Kimpton hotels before and always had a pleasant experience so decided to stay in one again for my six-day trip to Seattle. This Kimpton disappointed though. The room was dated (not vintage!) and dark. The bathroom was so small, I found it difficult to get in and close the door. The cleanliness of the room left a lot to be desired - I found toenails from a previous guest on the floor (which was not addressed in the 6 nights I stayed there), towels were stained and used drinking glasses were left in the room unwashed for several days.

The cost of my stay was inflated due to high demand in Seattle at the time (which I fully understand is normal practice) however I expect when paying inflated prices that the level of service is maintained at a very high standard to reflect the price.

On the plus side, the beds were rather comfortable however I will not be staying at the Kimpton Hotel Vintage again and I would not recommend it to others.

My room was very pretty, the bed was insanely comfortable, the customer service was garbage. When my husband and I got there for our honeymoon, they took our card without telling us how much they would charge, and we assumed that they didn't charge deposits upfront. Now, I had enough money for the deposits and I recognize that a lot of hotels charge them upfront, but since it was 100 dollars a night and the website did not specify that there would be a deposit, it was 300 dollars that I was out on my honeymoon that I didn't expect, and I wouldn't have been upset at all had the associate at the front desk had just advised us of that instead of making us assume that we were just paying for the room and taking our card and swiping it without telling us the amount. They weren't empathetic, and they didn't offer any sort of care or apology for not letting us know that they charge them upfront.

From the moment I walked in, I was impressed with how friendly and accommodating the staff were. The hotel room was elegant with a mix of vintage design with modern touches. The bathrooms were very clean. The beds were relatively comfortable, too. Overall I was happy with it. There were a couple of cheesy elements like the intimacy kit and the two cheetah robes. I suppose if I were there on a romantic getaway, it would be a lot cooler.

I enjoyed every moment of my stay at Kimpton Vintage! The hotel is located right in downtown Seattle and easily accessible by Link train($3 one way ride from the Seattle airport). The front desk stuff is very friendly and allowed us to check-in at 12pm which is by all standards a little bit early. They also baby sit your dog while you and your better half enjoy dinner time.
We stayed in room 805 could see Seattle public library from our windows! The bedding was high quality and the duvet cover was very warm.
Each morning they have complimentary coffee with an option to add vanilla or caramel syrup to it and a chest of 6 teas including some herbal options!
My favorite part was wine tasting experience happening every day 5pm-6pm. They normally offer two types of red and one white wine to taste. All of them are from Washington area.

Was in town for an interview and the company booked me a hotel here, in the heart of downtown Seattle. Everything I experienced was very nice, the room (1101), employees, shower, etc. Was a bit worried that my room was adjacent to the elevator but never heard it. Might have rated it higher but was basically just there to sleep, didn't experience any amenities or anything!

The location is perfect in downtown Seattle, not too far from the waterfront, but also near plenty of fun locations like the space needle, glass museum and EMP. The rooms are nice and the service is excellent. They give free parking to WA state residents, so definitely worth the price. Also, they have free wine hour which is amazing. I can't recommend this hotel enough!

The hotel is in the financial district so you had to walk more than a couple of blocks before finding a restaurant other than the hotel's. The rooms were nice and spacious. One whole entire wall was windowed. The staff was very friendly, courteous, and helpful.

Well kept, clean and friendly staff. I appreciate the free coffee in the lobby.

I had a minor incident where there was no remote in my room, but as soon as I notified the staff, they rectified the situation post haste. Impressed.

I was even in a room facing a highway and on the ground floor and happily, the traffic noise was minimal meaning a well constructed structure.

Cane here to visit some friends who are in from Portland. The hotel is excellent, beautiful and clean inside. The room was small but nice and well stocked. The staff were very friendly and courteous at all hours, and the room rates were less than the experience implied.

Helpful staff, catered to guests needs very well. If you needed something they were happy to oblige. Room was clean and nice. We had trouble checking in, reserved through booking.com and hotel did not find reservation, but we got a room. I would stay again.

Stayed here while I was in town for a conference. It was a great stay, with clean, comfortable rooms. Everything was within walking distance - convention center, fish market, shops, etc. Staff was friendly and helpful.

Rooms are small, more of a Boutique hotel, no refrigerators or microwaves in the room would not recommend if you are staying for an extended stay. About a 15 to 20 minute walk to Pike's Market. Room Service employees were wonderful as were the front desk employees.

Stayed at Hotel Vintage July 9-12, 2015 for our 29th wedding anniversary. If they gave more stars we would give them to this hotel. Upon check in to our departure it was excellent. When we checked in DeAnna helped us and she was so nice, friendly, helpful and gave us a great room on the 11th floor.
When we walked in we had a ice bucket with a bottle of Champagne, glasses and chocolates, what a wonderful gift for our anniversary :). We had room service for our dinner that same night and it was one of the best meals we had in Seattle. The room was beautiful. The bed comfy. We didn't care for the pillows, we are use to foam pillows. Will take my own next time. Everyone at the hotel was so helpful and really friendly and it was sincere. Thank you all for a wonderful stay !!

I was fortunate to spend six nights in room 708 at this amazing hotel. The staff at Hotel Vintage were absolutely wonderful from start to finish, the room was faultless and the facilities impeccable.

I have to admit, I'm not a wine person - instead I'm one of those beer people - so the wine theme wasn't the main draw for my stay. If you are a wine buff, then I have to mention that they have very tastefully decorated every inch of the hotel carefully without overstepping the mark into tackiness. Each room is named after a vineyard, and some of the art (such as that over the headboard of my bed) is even made from something wine related, such as old corks. Several evenings I bumped into a regular wine tasting session in the lobby, which starts around 5pm, and there is a strong emphasis on the discovery of new wines and local vineyards which I can certainly appreciate.

If you are not a wine buff, such as myself, then don't stress - this will not impact your visit at all. Are you a pet person instead?

This hotel is super pet friendly, and I met quite a few friendly dogs and their owners downstairs, but again if you're not a pet person I can tell you I never bumped into a single pooch in the hallway and never heard or smelled anything such that I was always surprised to see an animal in the elevator.

It has been a long time since I've been in a hotel where the room was so comfortable that I don't have a single gripe - the air conditioner was barely noticeable (a rarity in itself), in fact barely a single noise from the hallway or the street, and despite the windows being sealed shut the air quality within the room was great. Combined with the comfortable bed, I slept well, which is important when you're in town on business.

With all of this, everything around down town is readily accessible by foot. If you're coming from the airport, you can even take the Central Link light rail from the airport to University. The Washington State Convention Center and Pike Market are just a stone's throw away too.

I cannot fault this hotel or its staff. Don't hesitate to stay here if you're in Seattle - I hope to return some day!
