Clean. Super close to the beach. Great gym available. Rooms are pretty dated, but generously sized. Parking garage is attached, but it gets full pretty early. If you come back after 7 or 8 PM, good luck. I parked in the last spot available twice during a five night stay. If you're going to pay $40 a day for parking, there should be a better guarantee for parking.

The Beach was beautifully blue... heavy waves. It was a crowd but not overwhelming; Also, there were items floating in the water but it's to be expected when there a lot of visitors and tourists. There was a wall up for younger and inexperienced swimmers as myself. 😉 Be sure you're aware of the Marriott Resort Fee so you're not surprised when checking in or out. The Hotel staff was very pleasant and concierge was the absolute best! Ask for Ron!!!!! 👍🏼

Excellent!!! When you 1st arrive your welcome with a lei. We arrived 3 days before our cruise date The staff of employees made our stay joyous Their knowledge of the restaurants in the resort was sensational! The room was magnificently comfortable, clean, with all the necessities one would have at home, if not more. This Resort is outstanding!! We loved their Bar and Grilled by the poolside, live band, delicious food and awesome drinks. You're right at the beach!! Enjoy!!

One of the best hotels on Waikiki. Quick walk to the beach and a convenient walk to food and entertainment. You can schedule tours and dinner shows in the lobby to make things more convenient. Rooms were kept clean by the great housekeeping staff. Breakfast bar was more than adequate with plenty of options. Great views from the rooms.

This place was really nice. The gym was great too! I enjoy working out and the gym here at this hotel pretty much had everything. Stairmaster, treadmills, smith machine, cable machine, assisted pull up machines, straight bars, dumbbells etc. The breakfast buffet was alright. Very expensive in my opinion! Better off eating across the street. Other than that the room we stayed in was double bed and it was a big size room. The lobby area is nice to hang out and eat.

Really nice location on main drag off Waikiki beach. Walking distance to great restaurants. Parking garage attached for rental car.We paid for view room which was very worth it. Buffett for breakfast had a great mix, nice room and service. Music by pool really pretty good. Rooms are very nice, balcony is great for view. Room service menu short, but good. We had a problem with our room and they were prompt and accommodating to our needs. Nice staff, clean common areas. We would stay here again.

Good location, hotel is not too notch, but definitely conveniently placed. Elevators can be a little nightmare at the times when most people check in or out. Elevators are definitely their weakest spot. Personnel was overall courteous and helpful. Room was clean ( we had a high floor suite) and well served. Parking is valet only and not cheap, but that is Waikiki overall, not just this hotel. Getting to where the valet parking is can be tricky the first time, as it is a one way (out to Kuhio only)..

My sister and I only stayed here one night before our cruise. The room was clean. The price was reasonable. The open air lobby was gorgeous and we spent a good bit of time there given the duration of the stay. My one big complaint is regarding our check in. After many many hours on a plane and then a transfer bus with little air conditioning, we had to wait in the lobby for nearly an hour only to be informed that we could cut through the lobby and check in at a different desk with no wait. The process definitely could have been better organized.

Great location, but old and dated. Our “upgraded” ocean view room had a ratty old bathroom. There is no Marriott Lounge. The resort fee covers one person for breakfast, and there are actually no real resort amenities. Feels more like a tourist trap at times than a full service Marriott. Yet it is an awesome location.

Very close to the Waikiki beach. A 2 minute walk. I was Marriott elite member so got upgraded to sea view room it had an amazing view of the sea and diamond Head crater. However the bed in my room felt smaller and old (even though they list it as a king size bed). There is bus stop right outside. There is enterprise, budget car rental offices in the building and a moped/bike rental right outside. A short walk to Duke's point and many good restaurants. If you are vegetarian you can find a lot of options around here. There are some farmer's market couple of days a week where you can get a lot of handicraft stuff and locally grown fruits and coffee. All in all a great experience.

This place is fantastic! The lobby area is open on all sides and the concierge was lots of help with tours, figuring out where to keep our luggage until check in time, and arranging transportation. The Marriott is right on the beach and you can walk to it easily. There are many shops and a few restaurants as part of the property. We ate at the grill which was great and a reasonable price for Hawaii. My only regret was not being on site long enough to enjoy all the amenities and the view of the beach from our 22nd floor balcony.

Busy resort style hotel with a great location right across from the beach. This place is perfect for families with the beach across the street, the Hololulu Zoo a block away and many food options within a short walk. On the property are a very good Sushi restaurant as well as a steak place. Rooms are clean although a little dated. Spend the extra and get an ocean view room. Sitting on the lanai with all if Waikiki below and the sunset in the distance is priceless.

Nice resort, but nothing to write home about. Jam packed in the tourist district, no escaping the crowded beach, no escaping the poverty, and shopping that is proceed over what the destination has to offer. Nothing wrong with the resort, it's nice, but it's not really an escape from reality. It's a different level of enjoyment, one that I do not wish to seek out when I am trying to have a true island getaway. The best yep will be one where you venture away from Waikiki. Votes are what you expect from a corporate high rise. Dining and drink prices exceed what is offered, Waikiki just wants your money. On a positive note, all the employees are incredibly friendly, it said did a wonderful job accommodating the requests.

Lucky enough to get upgraded to a corner junior suite that has partial ocean view and mountain view. Unfortunately it was a one night stay for work with a $400 per night rate. So it was not cheap. They also charge a $37 resort fee, the only good is that the fee included one breakfast buffet. The resort is just beside the beach and you have lots of choices of restaurants and activities close by. Very friendly and helpful staff.

We came here to rent a car from Dollar. We didn't have a reservation but managed to get a mustang for $150. The lady serving us was very attentive and served us quickly. We went through the hotel and got the car. Only suggestions for improvements would be the valet to show us some basic features and some tips on driving. Other than that it was great service.

This is a nice resort hotel. The rooms are good size and clean. The views are fantastic. The balcony is of good size with 2 chairs, a drink table and a lounge chair. The elevators are fast, so I never had to wait long for a ride up to the 24th floor. The restaurants on property were very good and there are a couple other places one block away. The pool is not huge but of decent size, and it was clean. The beach is across the street, so who need a pool? 😋 The staff treated us very well and acknowledge our Marriott status. All in all, if I come back to Hawaii, I will stay here again.

Not our best experience with Marriott. Upon arrival, the parking garage elevator was broken. When I asked about partial reimbursement at the front desk I was shut down. Also if you are an ELITE member do your research and stay elsewhere. They were unable to accommodate late check out, did not give me an arrival chocolate (as advertised), I received no resort map, and they will only accommodate 1 person for complimentary breakfast. The rooms are nice and all of my other dealings with the staff were pleasant. The gym was great and I also got great exercise walking up five flights of stairs again and again in the parking garage. This is a prime location in Waikiki. I hope my experience was an off day. I will stay with Marriott in the future and hope for a better experience.

The experience at this resort area was great the location is downtown Honolulu plenty of shopping food and Recreation within walking distance it does offer valet parking and a self parking garage but arrive early it gets full the room was with two double beds Linens were clean and the bathroom was fine. There were two pools a spa a really nice Fitness Center lots of beach towels so you can go out on your own. right across the resort was a nice Beach with a built wave breaker so the water was calm for small children to play directly in the ocean. Starbucks was on the lobby floor there are a couple good tasting Grill venues and if you catch the right evening prime rib at about $26 for the whole Buffet. The entire staff from the front counter to housekeeping was very friendly and accommodating. I would definitely utilize these accommodations again. There is also an Enterprise Rent-A-Car location along with many shops.

Service was fine but the place could use some remodeling. You can here the toilets flush in all the rooms around you and the sliding glass door doesn't do much for reducing street noise. Great views if you have an ocean view room. Ate the fish tacos after the server said they were her favorite...well, Rubios fast food fish tacos are a lot better. Hardly any flavor at all. Very good breakfast buffet.

Very nice but needs updating. Our carpet had a big split in it. View was unbelievable from our room l. Great service, great food, drinks are yummy and poured well. Good shopping and food near by. Room concierge was awesome. Highly recommend this place. I would give 5 but 4 because of showing age. Pool service is great if right service. Valet and bell service top notch.

This hotel was a nice stay beautiful views and there are plenty of places to shop. Hotel staff is very courteous and is willing to go all out to help make your stay amazing. The only bad thing is that from the balcony you do hear street traffic, drilling, trucks backing up. It did not affect me and my wife but if you are looking for the quiet island life Waikiki is not for you.

This is a very nicely located hotel in Waikiki. Plenty of places to walk to. If your a silver elite member the free breakfast tickets you get is awesome. Rooms are clean and well maintained. Kinda high with cost but for the amount you pay you get the biggest bang for your buck. Parking is costly and tough at $40 a day and the walls are thin so you can hear about everything going on in the adjacent room. Other than that it is a great hotel with friendly staff.

Good for the price. Beautiful, peaceful lobby. Convenient to have an ABC store and Starbucks in the lobby. Quick walk to the beach. Room was clean and patio was nice. Pools were small. Hot tub was clean. Gym was clean with new equipment and towels on-site. Parking garage was crowded. Room keys were finicky.

Such a great, positive experience here the first time. Our sever was super nice, food was sooooo good! Great drink selection. Was excited to come back for the Super Bowl LII viewing party only to be insulted and disappointed. Our server was good, attentive even with the crowd. But the game... Unable to hear since the manager would not allow us to turn it up since the table in front thought it was too loud. So four people controlled the volume for the entire rooftop area... Great, and I mean great customer service.

The location is great. Close to the beach, shops, restaurants, etc. The staff were great and helpful. The only complaints we had were that the rooms were pretty dated. Whilst the furniture was fine the carpet was worn and dirty and really needed to be replaced. By the looks of the carpet it had been cleaned a few too many times and was starting to bunch up. Being there for a week I was really surprised at the $40+ tax to park my rental.

It is in a really nice spot. The stores on level 1 were all really good and very convenient overall. I had no issues when I stayed in this hotel, and I would definitely recommend it to friends. However, the bathroom doors have no locks so keep that in mind if you are traveling with multiple people.

This hotel is a decent place to stay. The rooms are dated, but it's not that bad. The hotel is a little further down the road from all the restaurants and shops, so if you like to be close/far from those things, take that into account. Beach access is very convenient. The main restaurant is a Vegas style buffet with Vegas pricing. The resort fee gets you free wifi and free breakfast, which almost makes up for it. But, if you're a Marriott elite member, you'd likely get those for free at any Marriott so the value slips. This hotel is perfectly acceptable in every way, but don't expect to be wowed.

This is one of the better Marriotts. I really enjoyed the stay. The staff was nice and very helpful. The only downside is that the parking garage can be unsafe. Hard to turn corners when 2 cars are coming. Not that big of a deal though. I would stay here again when I'm in Honolulu.

First of all, let me just speak about the view from the balcony.. I will never get over how beautiful it is to watch the sun set out past Waikiki beach every night. Everything about our stay was wonderful, the rooms were very clean and spacious, house keeping was more than accommodating, and the restaurants in the hotel were fantastic. My only 1 complaint is there are no microwaves in the room, but you can definitely survive without one! I'll be staying again when I return!

Perfectly located right next to beaches, tons of restaurants and shopping. We made use of their laundromat on the 3rd floor- it's a nice, big area. Waikiki is crazy expensive for anything so hit up happy hours when dining.

Great location right near the beach. Easy walk to 100s of restaurants and shops. The lobby has several stores for conscience too (starbucks, ABC, etc) so if you forget anything it's right there. They have towels you can grab from the fitness club to take out to the beach. We made good use of their laundromat located on floor 3. Cute trifle flowers for your hair on check-in. Ask the valet for towels or water too. They also have a shuttle you can take to the airport ($16 per person). Was NOT happy about their$35 resort fee as out only include coupons for percent off at shops- absolute garbage to charge that for nothing. Overall, Really great location for visiting Waikiki Beach.

I did not stay at this hotel but there is a lot of shopping in it. The main reason why I was here because there is a Enterprise-Rent-A-Car located here. These people were very friendly and had a great selection of cars. The second time I rented a car I got a upgrade just because. It was awesome.

Good size King room with peak a boo water view and balcony. Very soft bed. Multiple charger and plug area in room. Large in room safe. Clean room. Reading lights above bed. Large TV screen with many TV show choices. Noisy hallways during the late night. Twice in the one night we stayed at the hotel someone tried to enter our room. Noise from the room above. Sounded like a rubber ball bouncing on the floor most of the night. Bathroom needs a magnified mirror. The best staff in the hotel is the valet attendants. Very friendly.

Excellent check-in: larger room upgrade and more drink coupons for no extra charge. (Room was available and when I mentioned we had a larger room previously agent gave us an upgrade. Resort is increasing so we got the more of the old coupons.) Maintenance was able to quickly fix a shower issue once reported. Would stay here again.

We were there to eat at Sensei. The atmosphere was great and service was excellent. Parking was easy to find for guests and you can take the elevators from the parking lot straight to the hotel! Great live music could be heard from the bar located in the third floor of the hotel.

Loved this hotel. Everyone was so super friendly, and very accomodating. Our room was clean and had a nice view (not an ocean view, but still a nice view of the city and we could still see the ocean at the end of the street). They have tons of stores and restaurants and the pool on the third floor( there are two, didn't go to the other one) is beautiful! Just be sure to budget for the daily resort fee and the valet parking (which I believe must be used if you want to park your car). It didn't seem like a lot, but it sure adds up over the course of 7 nights. But similar hotels might not have the fee, but be more expensive, I don't remember. Just do research first, but otherwise I have no complaints, it was a lovely place to stay.

Our plane had a minor problem and we were diverted to Honolulu. The airline put us up in the hotel late, late in the night. We were part of a very large group of weary travelers and your staff did an amazing job welcoming us and attending to our needs. Thank you so much!!! We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and the staff was extremely helpful and courteous! Mahalo!

The resort is nice and clean. If you're an elite member (I think gold or higher) you receive vouchers for complimentary breakfast buffets. The resort fee is a little steep and you don't get much included with it to justify the cost (1 free drink coupon per day and free movie rentals from machines that don't always work). $40 daily self-park is also a bit high, but I don't know what other parking rates in the area are. Overall the hotel is very nice.

My only problem with the junior suite I'm staying in is that it's poorly lit. Other than that, it's a great room. I'm thoroughly enjoying my stay. The beds are comfortable, they were accommodating for my disabled aunt by upgrading us to a junior suite so that she could have a walk in shower.

Had birthday dinner at Sansei. Tried ~7 dishes and every single one was perfect. Drinks were expertly poured. Service was great, they brought out a small caramel apple dessert as a birthday dish. Walking through the hotel felt lavish. Would stay if we got the chance.

Very nice facility with great employees. Only one complaint. I am an elite long time member. There is a wonderful breakfast buffet. I was supposedly given 7 coupons for 7 days. My husband was not included. Two coupons were apparently lost, or I never received them. In any case I told Elite services I only received 5. According to their records I used 7. I don't know if I dropped them and someone else used them, or they made an incorrect entry. In any case, Marriott employees refused to replace them. Do they think I was lying? I asked 3 people and they wouldn't credit me. It seemed like a chintzy way to treat a good customer. Eighty dollars is nothing to Marriott...but it's a lot to me.

Paid for an ocean front room for my honeymoon, this is the view they consider ocean front so it wasn't smart to pay for the upgraded room. Wanted to pay for everything up front so when we got here we didn't have any additional charges. I guess there's a mandatory 35/day resort fee they add on, then the petty part is they even charge tax on it..... The resort fee gives you some free alcoholic drinks (which we don't drink) and free movie rentals (because we came to Hawaii to watch movies) The good part is the room was cleaned several times a day, it is a pretty good sized room, and the workers are nice. Don't think I'll stay there again, for a couple bucks more you can stay in the Moana, right on the beach

Outside lobby is amazing and the service for booking events is also very good. The woman who schedules events does an amazing job making sure you get what you want when you can do it. The only down side is the breakfast. Selection is great, but you can't bring food to your room, if you do you need to pay for it. Otherwise I had an amazing experience.

Super friendly receptionist. The lobby is nice and clean. We got upgraded to ocean view and it's so gorgeous. The rooms big w/big bathrooms, one of the nicer hotels I've stayed at on Waikiki. The location is perfect. Lots of restaurants nearby and the beach is across the street. The only negative about this place is that the elevator is a tad bit small which isn't a big deal. I'd highly recommend this hotel.

We chose this place thinking it was a 5 star hotel and had been happy with our stays in other Marriott Hotels. The staff in all areas were very friendly and helpful, no complaints there. However, this place needs the management to look at refurbishing, as it appeared very run down. Our room had carpet coming away at the walls, and the bathroom was very tired looking. This vacation was to be a real treat for our family as we were celebrating my wife's 50th Birthday, sadly our hotel room was a huge disappointment. We tossed up between the Marriott or the Hawaiian Hilton and felt disappointed we hadn't chosen the latter, as on visiting both properties it was evident the Hawaiian Hilton was far superior. The Marriott is in a great location with lovely staff but badly in need of major renovations.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked a room on there and they had the best rates around... We were lucky enough to get ocean view this time; however the room and bathroom seemed smaller from the other rooms we've had in the past. The kids enjoyed the pool and the adults enjoyed the complimentary drink ticket. Beds were comfortable. Enjoyed the breakfast buffet the following morning. A little more organization in the dining hall would have prevented our wait (people were walking in and seating themselves).

The location of the hotel is great! The hotel is right on Waikiki beach. The hotel pool also was very nice and had a live band there at night! The rooms were also clean. I got a street view room and I am happy I didn't pay extra for an ocean view room because I had a beautiful view of diamond head and you could still see the ocean! However, on the first day we came to the hotel one of the elevators was out of order so there was a large line for the elevators but we never had a problem with the elevators after that night. Also, the parking garage is very narrow and dangerous, I would recommend spending extra on the valet parking option. Overall I enjoyed my stay and I would stay at the Waikiki Marriott resort and spa again!

A great location on Waikiki beach - a little way east from the more chaotic shopping areas of Kalakaua Ave. The rooms are modern and nice, even if the outward appearance of the hotel is a bit dated. The sand and water out front of the beach are great. The staff of the Marriott are super friendly and caring. From the valets to the desk staff and the room staff, they all are genuine in their approach. It makes you really feel that spirit of Aloha.

Always treated well. Staff went the extra mile to make sure my room was perfect. Beautiful location exactly across the street from Waikiki Beach. Walking distance to all of the beautiful international shops on Kalakaua Ave. Has great restaurants and shops of it's own, but easy walking g distance to Hard Rock Cafe, Cheesecake Factory, Ruth's Chris and many very high end specialized cuisine. Great location if working in downtown or anywhere in central Honolulu. Very close to Honolulu Zoo. Great staff. Super friendly. Great concierge service. Beautiful swimming pool and great workout facilities.

The hotel is well kept and everything about the room and the staff was fantastic. The only reason I didn't give it five stars was that the resort fees and parking fees are very high.

Beautiful resort right off the ocean in the heart of Waikiki. The rooms are amazing and very clean. The staff is very courteous. I was comped a night here due to a cancelled flight so I'm sure this place is fairly pricey, but it's a resort in Hawaii so it's to be expected. Would certainly return.

We just stayed here in April 2013 and had a wonderful time. Although the room was nice we didn't come to the island to stay in our hotel room. Our balcony offered us a view of the side street and a partial view of the beach which was OK considering the location. The room was clean and the service was great. We never had to ask twice for an extra towel or shampoo. They had a pool which we took advantage of and was a change from being in the saltwater! My only complaint was the resort fee... REALLY! They should pay us for the business point of view. They also charged for parking your rental that you rented from the building, which was absurd!! (hence the four stars) We ate breakfast around the corner where the prices were reasonable. Can't say we will return in the near future but the extra fee's would discourage a lot of people from staying.

Wow! Sunday was great as a wedding videographer. Normally you have to valet your car then somehow get it validated, and then prepay for parking before picking up your car. Fortunately this time around the valet guy hooked us up and let me drop my car off. Of course I had to hook the guy out with a nice tip! Great experience on a Sunday.

Excellent hotel. Right across from the beach. Fantastic breakfast buffet and it is included if you are at least silver. Valet and self park both cost. 35 dollar resort fee which does include internet and gym access. The gym is very nice with some free weights including a Smith machine. Lots of shops and a Starbucks.

I had an ocean-going junior suite with an amazing view. I snapped a sunset shot from my balcony the moment I entered the room. The room was very spacious and comfortable. Although the shower could use an update, I was overall very happy with the room.

Dinner at d.k. Steakhouse was superb. Love steaks from this place. They consistently cook steaks exactly the way i like it. For the price and the quality this place can't be beat. If you get there early you can dine and watch the sunset.

Great hotel on the quiet end of Waikiki. Staff are friendly. Rooms on the beach side have excellent views of the sunset. Music nightly at the bar is a nice way to end an evening. Good for business or pleasure. Breakfast buffet is excellent and even better when free for being a frequent traveler with Marriott.

Beautiful hotel. The rooms are super clean. (I'm a clean freak too) I loved the hotel room balcony facing Waikiki Beach for sunrise/sunset photos. Staff very nice. The hotel also offers a free shuttle to their west side island location.

Come here every month for business with several co workers. We all agree that the Omelet Chef Chuck Schmucker is amazing. Watching him prepare breakfast is like watching a performance artist. Thanks Chuck for the great service.

Typical beach resort. I wasn't in love. Spoiled by the Hilton Hawaiian Village I guess. Rooms are a bit dated some updates, but not enough to justify the price. Bar/restaurant options on property are average. I will say you get a gorgeous view of Diamond Head since this property is on that side of Waikiki. Walkable to Honolulu Zoo and Diamond Head if you are adventurous.

Hotel is situated in a great location. The corner suite looks directly out to the beach. However, the decor seems dated and better maintenance can be done (e.g., water stain on the bathroom ceiling should be addressed). Also, the walls are thin; neighbors above closing their sliding door or adjoining room laughter sound like they're inside the room with us. Staff are friendly and service good. Cocktails are sweet but weak. Pools and jacuzzi are filled with children.

The hotel is what you should expect when staying at a Marriott. The concierge service was informative and accurate. No pressure to add excursions. The staff at every turn was knowledgeable and helpful. The resort fee wasn't a surprise and on par with the other hotels in the area. The fee included extras I did not expect and we took advantage of them. Enterprise rental is on site which we chose to use for a day. I will recommend this place to friends and family.

Great location, lots of services and shops. Great Concierge service! Put us in touch with all our tour and activities. One stop shopping! Material condition is a bit off - could use a refresh. But the view is fantastic!

Good location on the Waikiki strip, Great staff they take really good care of you. The weekly packages for food, drinks, etc... excellent. When I've stayed here always been for business. The picture is from the pool side bar good drinks, atmosphere, live music and beautiful sunsets.

My husband and I are staying here for our honeymoon and love it! The staff is very hospitable and seem genuinely excited for you to be arriving for your vacation. Our room had an amazing view (it seems most rooms do) right by the ocean for incredible sunsets. The restaurants are pricey, but no more than any other local restaurants, and the food is amazing. Highly recommend the morning buffet, it has everything you could possibly want and then some. I would definitely recommend come again!!

This is a nice hotel on the Diamond Head of Waikiki. Some might say it's on the less busy side, but it's a very quick bus ride to get anywhere. Plus you're super close to the authentic eats on Kapahulu: Leonard's, Ono Hawaiian Foods, Ono Seafood. Rooms were clean and some offer a nice view of Diamond Head.

Right opposite Waikiki Beach, bus stops and close to Waikiki shopping, restaurant strip and Honolulu Zoo. Great pool, pool bar whilst overlooking that fantastic Hawaiian Waikiki sunset over the pristine North Pacific Ocean and Waikiki Beach, which is simply breathtaking. Wifi and an awesome Steak Restaurant and a beautiful Japanese Sushi Restaurant. Staff are fantastic and go that extra mile to make your stay a fantastic one.

Great service, very friendly staff. Easy access to beach. A lot of restaurants nearby. Our room was nice and clean but it feels a bit dated. Not bad, just older stuff. Overall, I will stay here again.

An amazing community within Waikiki. Our room is comfortable, with a beautiful balcony view. Plenty of shopping downstairs, including two ABC stores that have pretty much everything you forgot. Plenty of information for tourists in the tour lobby. Our rooms have safes, and the cleaning staff is doing a remarkable job. Haven't had to ask for anything from the front desk yet.

If anyone is looking for a great deal on hotels you can check it out on HotelRaven. com Booked this hotel on there and they had the cheapest rates around... I stayed here for 7 nights on a work trip that I was able to extend into a 15 year anniversary trip where I brought my lovely wife along. It was a great place for her to stay while I worked part of the week with many things in the areas to do. Conveniently located to tons of shopping and restaurants. She also enjoyed a massage at the spa. Our partial ocean view room was very comfortable and the view was actually very nice. I would stay here again.

We went to Sansei restaurant at the Marriott. Everything was going well until we noticed one of our items didn't come (we ordered ala carte). Our waitress said she didn't hear us order it, (and didn't apologize for not hearing us) and asked if we still wanted it. We decided we would get something else presumably faster to make. That took more than 30 minutes which she didn't apologize for the wait and didn't deliver it to us either. We were sitting next to the sushi bar and could hear her ask about it then they made it, like they forgot. Terrible service.

Over all, this place seem old and a bit dated. The first room the have us had been trashed somewhat. One of the painting where missing off the walls and all that was left where the holes from where the paint was. Also the room has a weird smell to it. However, we ask for new room and the happily gave us another room. This room had a pleasant smell and better feel to it. Same room mind you just 7 floor higher. Both room had the same decent view btw of the beach. I would have given this place 1 to 2 stars, but because they we willing to give us another room. I'd say the customer service is decent. But honestly, if something is wrong with a room. Fix it before giving to the next guest.

I stayed here while visiting Honolulu for work purposes. It's a nice hotel, and the reception staff were very accommodating. Riston checked my wife and in and he did a fantastic job making us feel welcome. That aside, I will say that prices are pretty high. The breakfast buffet at the hotel is $32 per person, so you may want to spend that amount of money on nicer dinners. The fitness center is great! They have free weights as well as barbells and weight machines. Pools seem a little small, but then again, you are right next to the ocean. All in all, I'd stay here again and I recommend keeping it in consideration when booking your lodging. Safe and happy travels!

The Waikiki Beach Marriott is my number one choice for a hotel in Waikiki. The hotel offers free WiFi and the TVs have Netflix. The hotel is right next to the beach making only minutes away. The staff is very nice and they always say hello when you pass them.

People are very friendly. Not happy about the daily fee charge. Nothing mention when room was book. The suite rooms are small for a suite, tiny bathroom, not happy, toilet was always running, called maintenance he didn't fix the problem. I will not return to this resort.

I brought my daughter to celebrate her 21st birthday, all the staff were great. Everyone at the Marriott was kind, courteous and helpful. I could not have asked for a better location to take my daughter to. My only and this is only concern was the parking garage. I never thought a Ford Fiesta could feel so large. I rented the smallest car I could conceivably cram myself into because it's an island and space is finite. That fact was made abundantly clear by that garage. In conclusion, nothing is 100% perfect, but 99.9% isn't bad. Not bad at all. Thank You to the staff and employees at the Waikiki Beach Marriott for making my daughters 21st birthday one she'll never forget.

I stay 3 times per month for work. Great food gym pool, pool bar and extremely helpful staff. Location is fantastic and for a few extra dollars you get a high floor beach facing room that is second to none. Fantastic for singles couples families and groups.

Average hotel. Pricy, plus extra room tax. Very noisy work in lobby. Overly crowded in weekend. No rest upstairs either: group of party people was in the rooms surrounding me. I had to hear them and found panties and empty cigarette packs in the morning on my balcony. Room key never worked and I had to replace almost daily. Long wait air the elevator. Good: wifi, housekeeping, AC, spacious room with nice balcony and view, overall location. ABC store downstairs. Fitness center and pool area.
