Our stay was very pleasant. The front desk staff were very nice and friendly, and very helpful. The room was clean and had a great view. The walk-in shower in the bathroom was perfect. The hotel is within walking distance to almost every place you could want to go to. We will definitely be staying here again during our next trip to San Antonio. Everything exceeded our expectations.

Beautiful hotel, however I was disappointed in the customer service. They told us we could only valet park which was $35 per day, But when checked out of hotel found out only then we could have parked ourselves at a much cheaper rate across the street. Also wasn't told that coffee/breakfast grab bags ended at 9:30 am...I arrived at 9:45 am only to be told I could go down the street for coffee. When I continued to discuss this with front desk staff, I was told a complimentary pot of coffee would be sent up to my room immediately, But that NEVER happens. I always give great reviews, as we are Hilton longstanding members, but was dissatisfied. However it was a nice walk to the Riverwalk. A little bit of a hike, but not bad.

Checked in for my 45th Birthday, as a staycation. Easily the best experience ever. Beautiful balcony overlooking St Paul Square. Because of the ongoing pandemic we also were able to book the hotel pool and jacuzzi for a private session, they told me, the pool is for private use and you need a reservation, when I said 9 pm, i was told, it's yours for the evening, just close it all up when we leave. So this is an indoor pool with a huge glass wall overlooking downtown San Antonio. All I can say is breathtaking. Also if you stay, say hello to PAUL, he can take care of any need you might have. The staff was amazing. Just wanted to say thank you for making this day so amazing.

We had a lovely time . It was on the River walk which made our trip easy and fun. There were restrictions because of the Covid 19. But the staff made every effort to make our stay enjoyable. We will be back.

Loved our stay! I will warn you, it's breakfast parking only, but you can park across the street if you can find a spot.
Complimentary drinks & snacks in the afternoon allow you to relax & enjoy yourself. Take in the view of the beautiful San Antonio Riverwalk. If you get the option to choose a high floor for a few dollars more I would suggest doing it. I did! It was super quiet even though the hotel is on a very busy street in downtown San Antonio. Don't forget your key card or the elevator will not work! Breakfast is fantastic, especially the area where everything is made to order! You can even request a customized omelette! Definitely a place to stay when you want to indulge & be pampered.

The hotel was right on the river. I could see the water while eating breakfast! My friends and I walked almost everywhere. The complimentary breakfasts and happy hours were AMAZING. We went for a bachelorette party, and we were not disappointed! Customer service could have been a little friendlier, but it wasn't so bad that my experience was ruined. I would definitely go back!

Clean & elegant rooms, nice staff. The pool stayed pretty busy and it closed at 10 so no late night swims but regardless a great hotel. Good breakfast too

The hotel was nice. It definitely had its pros and cons for the price.

Pros....the breakfast buffet was perfect! You couldn't want for anything. They had a happy hour from 5:30-7:30 that included free alcoholic and non alcoholic drinks and a free snack buffet. The hotel staff was friendly and informative. They had an area by the front desk for different attractions in the area which included coupons, and it was on the riverwalk but not the busy part.

Cons....the pool was very small and felt like you were swimming on top of other guests during the weekend evenings, our room could have been cleaner, there was mold on our shower curtain and blood? on the wall next to the bed, the carpet in our room could definitely use a shampoo as it was black where the door opened/closed. Valet parking only and it was $32 a day.

Downtown San Antonio, parking was not included and on the expensive side. Everyone was friendly. There was a nice manager's reception that included snacks and drinks for all ages, including alcohol. Room was nice and clean, bit it took a while to get there with only 4 elevators and a crowd.

Love this place. Really pretty. Love the happy hour reception, got to be in line early for your drinks though. Breakfast buffet is AWESOME! Pool was real small and crowded so we didn't even attempt using it with people 6 inches apart on top of each other but everything else was great.

Boat staying at this hotel. Hotel was just off the Riverwalk in a less crowded area. Which was nice it was less crazy and more quiet and peaceful at night. Stay on the 17th floor and had a great view off my balcony. Also the breakfast was really yummy and everything was very fresh was definitely able to enjoy all of the fresh fruit. Will definitely be returning!!!

Great location, on the river walk, about a 10 minutes walk to the Alamo via the river walk. Shower water pressure wasn't the greatest. The room floorplan had the bathroom outside the bedroom. So if you have people in the pull out couch bed, they don't have to come in your room to use the bathroom. Breakfast was the best Embassy Suites breakfast yet. Made to order omelet and a larger selection of other breakfast choices than normal.

The hotel is awesome. Great location right on the Riverwalk. The inside hotel staff is hardworking and friendly. The real issue upon arrival was the valets. You either valet or park across the street. You have in and out privileges with valet, so we opted for that. I tried to find a baggage cart but I didn't see any so we ended up having to pile all our stuff on a cart that I had luckily brought with me. After 10 minutes of organizing our stuff and pulling the luggage towards the entrance, one of the valets then asks if we needed a baggage handler!!! Really?!! They were all young, goofing and joking around with each other, and had ignored us till then. These are the first employees you encounter and should represent the establishment accordingly. Fortunately, the rest of the staff was quite helpful and the hotel amenities made for a pleasant stay.

What a great location to everything. The room was amazing. Comfy beds. Breakfast was so delicious. The staff were very helpful and nice to my kids. I will be coming back!!!!

Everything was excellent about this place. The staff is very accommodating. They have buffet and cook to order breakfast which has a variety of options. Evenings they have complimentary drinks and snacks.
The beds and comforters were super soft and comfortable.
Parking here is not free but there is a parking garage on Mary st that’s very cheap.

Close enough riverwalk! The Festival was going on while I was there and I was able to get onto the highway very easily without delays. Co-worker was in another hotel and had a hard time getting out with all road closures. The breakfast was great, so many choices and tasted great. Staff was very friendly and helpful. Valet parking is overpriced but convenient. The rooms are huge. I didn't hear any noises while staying. Bed was comfortable, shower was hot, room clean. I dislike putting a "do not disturb" on my door as it shows someone is staying in the room but the cleaning crew knocked on the door fairly early in the a.m. If you want to sleep in later without disturbance, you may want to put it on the door before you go to bed or see if front desk can notify them. Overall, I'd stay again.

Great location from Riverwalk - staff very nice but the quality of the products used are very poor. If you need to use a tissue bring your own theirs are the top worst I have ever seen & bring your own toilet paper ( same issue). No place to hang your towel when done & the water flow is very weak. Other people on the same trip as ours had many problems with the " key" to gain entry into elevator & into the rooms. Nice part is the staff was very nice.

This is a great Embassy Suites. Our room was spacious and the happy hour was excellent. The breakfasts were also great. Bacon, pancakes, oatmeal, sausage, hash, etc. I loved it. The only reason I didn't give this place 5 stars was because parking was a joke. They charged $32/night plus tax. Next door was a big open parking lot with better service and more space for $25/night. Gouging the customer is not a great business strategy. I realize they need to make money, but park your car next door. I did.

This place was amazing!! When we checked in they informed us of the "Happy Hour" which in most places means 1/2 price drinks or dollar drink but NO they we're FREE. Yes you read that right all you can drink for FREE. That's not it, their FREE breakfast consist of anything and everything you can think of. Fresh to made omlets, check, bacon sausage french toast check. It was delicious and FREE. Plus the room was immaculate, the beds were comfortable and everyone was so friendly. I would definitely recommend!

So far not enjoying coming here. While trying to check in another quest was having problems with help. Not sure what it was and didn't really care but first impressions are very important. And I just became a grand vacation owner. Maybe a mistake. Of course I couldn't check in since check in time is at 4pm!!! Wow that's late..
( Update).. enjoyed the stay here after all. The staff is friendly and will try to be helpful. Breakfast is awesome with a buffet and make to order omelette. Didn't take advantage of the bar or restaurant. We did buy water bottles but at $2.00 a bottle it gets expensive when you have a family of 6. It's a good idea to bring your own . So instead of 1 star I give it a 4. Thanks.

The room was very comfy, the staff friendly and the happy hour was amazing!! You could almost make a meal out of happy hour. We were VERY impressed. :-)

The room was great, the evening reception was incredible! All staff from the parking attendants, breakfast staff, front desk staff and managers were exceptionally pleasant and always very helpful. We had a wonderful time in San Antonio and staying the the Embassy Suites made it even more so!

Nice rooms great location for walking. Small gym but a lot of stuff. Support staff very good how ever, middle management does not seem overly customer serviced and I will not stay here again. Issue with room I told three people about that was not resolved or offered any thing for the invonvience. I am a diamond member with Hilton and very disappointed

The service was wonderful and the staff always helpful and friendly. The room was beautiful and relaxing! The Range steakhouse was closed for a private event. So that was disappointing. But we will plan another stay soon.

Had a nice stay with them last weekend. Enjoyed the last nights of the Christmas lights on the Riverwalk without the bulk of the holiday crowds. The room was comfortable and spacious, the bed could have been a bit more comfortable. Had a great breakfast and the staff were very friendly and helpful.

Thoroughly enjoyed the location. Close to lots of entertainment venues. Room was awesome, clean, layout makes it feel like a small luxury apartment. Only down side is that we reserved a double bed and when we got there Gave us a king size bed. We had a party of 5 and that was a huge inconvenience for us.

The hotel was very nice. The amenities were great, staff was excellent. My only 2 complaints is the valet chipped the paint in the driver's side door of my wife's car, and the complimentary drinks in the afternoon were okay and not great. Though for free beverages I'm not complaining too much. The distance from the river walk and area attractions was within reasonable walking distance making this ideally located.

This place has THE BEST breakfast EVER! The staff is extremely helpful with directions and suggestions. HIGHLY recommend!!!

Nice hotel. Construction in front of hotel. Housekeeping lacked attention to detail. Skipped room completely one day. Uncomfortable bed and pillows. Rough towels. No robes. Good breakfast and evening reception. Loud elevator noise.

The Staff at the hotel are very friendly and helpful. The breakfast buffet Is excellent. Overall it was a great experience staying at the hotel.

Overall experience was great, but didn't like valet parking for $35 and then not having luggage carts available, they were available but you have to pay someone else to do handle your luggage, even though there was 4 of us and we simply could done it on our own. They did not give us that option but simply forced us to use their service.

Other than the usual parking issues on check-in, which all Riverwalk hotels seem to have, the entire experience was fantastic. The valet was quick our room was great. Nice medium-soft beds.

Great location and reception/service is also great. The breakfast is mediocre with only standard items you find at Hilton buffet. As small a detail as it is, I miss having the pitcher of half and half during breakfast rather than the one serving packs in a bowl. Those packs just don't taste the same and are more of a nousance. Evening reception is nice with healthy and not so healthy options ranging from veggies to candy. Overall great time.

The room was beautiful, clean, and spacious with very comfortable beds and clean sheets. The staff was very friendly and helpful throughout our stay and made our stay very nice. The complimentary breakfast was delicious and provided a large assortment of breakfast foods.

Very nice hotel. Convenient location, walking distance to restaurants on the Riverwalk, Alamo, Market Square, cathedral. Breakfast buffet is standard, but the made-to-order omelets are great! Evening reception is also nice... open bar and snacks.

Accommodations are top notch here. Gorgeous rooms and wicked pretty furnishings. Staff is helpful, friendly, and very knowledgeable of the river walk area. The construction is a pain, but not like Hilton can control city work. My only ding on the property is that they currently lack a restaurant on site (scheduled to open 7 Sep) and a bar (once the complimentary reception closes at 730). Excellent walking distance to city amenities, great value for the price. Stay here once the restaurant opens-you won't regret it.

Great place to stay and bring the family on vacation! Complimentary happy hour drinks and snacks from 5:30 to 7:30 plus a full hot breakfast with omelettes made to order included with your room! Really comfortable beds and large clean rooms. We will definitely be coming back!

Rooms are spacious. Our room had a mini kitchen with refrigerator, microwave and table. Water from tap taste very different maybe it's because we're from Kansas but we had to go buy water to drink because it didn't sit well with us. First night we stayed four out of the five of us woke up itchy. We didn't go to be itchy but sure did wake up that way. Wasn't itchy any other night after that but that was interesting. Room service was polite and quick but I think next time we'll find another hotel to stay at the next time we're in San Antonio.

Quiet spot on the river walk. Great service and drinks at the bar. Loved the water feature in the lobby. Visited with my parents who were staying at the hotel. Will definitely stay here for our next visit.

The room was nice was nice a well apportioned. We were not in the room that we booked and the front desk was not even trying to accommodate us. They would accept no ownership of the mix up. The evening social was ok, it could have been much better if they would focus on 1 food area and do it well instead of half way. The morning breakfast is good for omlet ad breakfast tacos but there is a LOT of bread that is pushed. Thank is also only coffee and perhaps water to drink if you are trying to stay away from sugar or sweet beverages which is ridiculous.

Hotel was beautiful...... but, we had a 2 bedroom suite and the ac was in the bedroom. Bedroom was freezing and main room was warm. Stayed 2 nights and had to change rooms after 1 night because ac was so loud we could not sleep. Changing rooms didn't help.....

Really great location downtown but WOW this was the busiest Embassy I have ever stayed at. Breakfast and happy hour were so busy it was unenjoyable. LOUD, no place to sit, not able to even walk around. It is almost 4 pm and our room has yet to be cleaned and we called the front desk. Very nice place, great location but it seems like the number of guests is not managed very well. Was crazy even trying to get our car this morning.

Location of the hotel is great - right off the Riverwalk. We got a suite which was very spacious. We used the valet parking which was convenient. Loved the breakfast (made to order omelettes!) in the morning and reception at night with finger foods and complimentary drinks. Service was impeccable.

Awesome location for the river walk. The breakfast is my favorite from this Hotel. The pool is alright. The inside just look like a regular hotel. There's also happy hour which is pretty nice to just grab a drink and snack for the kids.

Excellent hotel. Top notch service, very clean rooms, courteous Bell hop and valet associates. I used the HHonors app on my phone to check in and electronic key so I didn't​ have any dealings with the front desk, just arrived and went straight to my room and unlocked it with my phone. Breakfast was superb, both the cook to order (had omlete) and the buffet were delicious. This hotel is within walking distance of just about anything, Alamo, museums, concerts, bars, shopping, and hundreds of restaurants. When I come back to San Antonio, this is definitely the hotel I'm staying at again. Nothing could have been better with this stay. Excellent.

The room is very clean and comfortable. However, when checking in our two keys didn't work. When we took back to get them fixed, one still didn't work. Took three trips to get it all right. Valet is very friendly. Evening reception is loaded. Great snacks.

The most beautiful Embassy Suites I've ever stayed at. The managers reception had much more food than any other Embassy Suites. The room was very clean and nice. Breakfast was excellent. I was so impressed!!! Will come back!!!!

This hotel was beautiful! It was clean. We got a one room suite, check in was easy, free made to order breakfast with a huge variety of top notch foods. Free happy hour between 5-7pm. Along with snacks. The parking was valet parking, and it was 30.00 a day, which in my opinion was unnecessary. As the parking lot was under the hotel.

Got upgraded to the premium floor when I checked in, which was awesome because they give a code to use for free drinks/snacks/candy in the floor's vending machine. Room service was super fast (was given a 45 minute estimate, arrived in 25). The catering to my professional event was excellent (roasted chicken, sirloin steak).

Check in was a breeze. Arrived late, but they conveniently gave us a room close to the elevator. The room and hallway smelled so clean and great. We ordered room service, and it was reasonably priced, and actually delicious! It even came in 15 minutes! Fantastic stay. The breakfast buffet is the bomb. Highly recommended.

We've stayed at this hotel two times and have found to be good quality, good service and good value. It's a short walk to everything on Riverwalk so no need for a car. I highly recommend you stay here.

I love Embassy Suites. Their happy hour is the best (who doesn't like free beer?!). The views of this hotel are nice and the staff is nice too.

Came with family for River Parade, and had a great time. When we pulled up for valet, the gentlemen was very pleasant. When loading our bags to the room from unloading car to setting them in our room, great. The check in experience was iteractive, quick, and helpful and guy was full of life. We met with the manager and had a couple interactions with her; the staff has her same energy and attitude. It was nice meeting her. The beds and room quality make the hotel nice, but us coming back to visit is because of the people here.

Hotel has good lighting within the front entryway, which is typical for the Embassy Suites brand. The room sizes are good and pro ide plenty of natural light.

The evening reception was better than most with some light food and fruit options available. Breakfast was equally good. I especially liked the pastry variety and, of course, the option of a fresh made omelet.

Everything about this hotel is exceptional! The atmosphere is great. The only complaint I have is about a front desk agent that I believe goes by the name Yvonne, I had a blanket and pillow that I had brought from home as I was walking out with it she approaches me and says "excuse me? Where do you think you're going with our pillow and blanket?" And I said oh? I brought this from home this isn't yours. She ended by saying "oh it's not ours? Okay." I found that to be quite rude. I would take this comment as a feed back to treat your guests better and not jump to conclusions.

Exceptional Service! From the efficient and positive Valet team, to happy and knowledgeable customer service reps who checked my family in! And just when we couldn't have enjoyed the evening any more, the evening bartenders were super friendly and just hilarious. Our room was wonderful and the evening ended on a high. But the best part of our stay was the breakfast. I believe her name was Maria, and I swear she should be cooking in a top ranked restaurant. I've traveled the world and found the most perfect omelette being prepared right here in San Antonio at the Embassy Suite on the Riverwalk. Kudos Hilton! We look forward to returning!

Akasia was awesome!! She made sure we were taken care of at checkout even with some issues with Expedia. We have had nothing but awesome customer service from the staff despite the culture of Texas being a bunch of disrespectful, self-absorbant jerks! We drove down here and since we hit the border there has been a void of any manners or integrity. Valet parking was organized and so so helpful! This hotel is gorgeous!

I loved this place even though I stayed for 3 days. They where very kind and pleased to have is. Valet did a great job. Our room was nice. The whole place is very beautiful. The had a little candy time for the kids and a bar thing for the parents/adults. The service manager she was awesome and she helped with anything.

I brought my family, which includes three kids six and under, to the embassy suites- riverwalk San Antonio. The stay was great. We were able to get a suite with living room and seperate bedroom for what I thought was very affordable. The rooms were great and up to date. A full Breakfast was included along with bar drinks and tons of snacks every evening from 5:30-7:30. It was close to everything we wanted to do and right off the river. The valet parking was a little high at $30 a night but they were very quick to have your car pulled up. We will be back for sure.
