Perfect for business and private staying. Typical breakfast - nothing special but service and rooms perfect especialy suits rooms. And what's most important for me - they offer smoking rooms

As much as this is my favorite Hilton hotel in Mcallen, Tx the front desk staff can be rude and discriminating. I didn't get her name but because of my rate, she asked me where and which facility i work for as if she didn't have my information in my reservation where I booked it online. They've flat out admit it 'because of my rate' is why I can only get a king bed. The nice older lady was a little nice in the morning when I checked out and the breakfast lady too but the rude one that checked me in the evening looked younger and short.

Attended the hotel for a work event in a conference room. Lovely atmosphere and has no complaints the time that I spent there.

We were displaced from our home due to sewage backing up into our house and flooding it. Stayiing at Homewood Suites has been the best decision in our lives. The hotel room feels as if we are in our own home, it has a full kitchen, living room, bedroom, etc. Aida, Isai, and Noe prepare the best hot breakfast everyday as well as dinner Monday- Thursday 5-7 pm. They have been extremely nice and helpful to us. The front staff is very friendly and always attentive to our needs. The room was cleaned every day too. Next time you want to stay at any hotel, choose Homewood Suites and you will be delighted. My husband and I will dearly miss all the attention when we leave next week.

Love this hotel, I call it my second home and quite frankly want to make it my first. I hold a residency with my boyfriend and it makes our stay so worth it. Great employees and great service.

I am never disappointed when I with Hilton, but this hotel was very nice and the people were very helpful. Kudos to this location and the staff as well.

Great sized rooms for the price. Hotel seems a bit dated. The complimentary breakfast and dinner during the week is a huge plus. If I travel south again, I'll definitely stay here.

We stayed here in a 2 room suite and it was worth it! Although the pool area was a bit crowded with about 3 families we still had a good time. All the staff were extremely helpful and very courteous. We were 6 in the suite but it could easily fit up to 8 comfortably. It has 1 room with a king bed, a living room with a pull out full bed and another room with 2 queen beds. The kitchen was a good size considering it's a hotel and it had a good sized fridge. The beds were comfortable and the rooms were spacious. If you enjoy BBQing they have an area outside with plenty of room to do that and it was clean! I would definitely recommend this place.

We stay at this hotel every time we visit the area. The rooms are always clean and the staff courteous. The suit style is perfect if you have kids since they can sleep on pull out in the living area. Plus there is free breakfast.

Clean room, shuttle service to pick up from the airport, and free beer. Great combo for me.
There is included breakfast in the mornings, and 5-7 every evening they have a keg of beer and appetizers set out for free.
They also have a nice pool and a basketball court.

Clean spacious rooms. Free beer at happy hour is nice although the selection wasn't the best.

Awesome service. Very friendly staff who are more then willing to accommodate you on your needs and help where they can. Very clean rooms with fully stocked kitchens. Pool water us very well taken care if. 1 of the best I have ever seen. Would definitely recommend

Great stay. Asked Front Desk staff if they could place a stuffed bear in the room, so I could surprise my girlfriend. They gladly helped me out. They were very friendly. Wished they had name tags so I could thank the young woman personally. The room itself was very clean and very comfy. Had a lovely stay and would greatly come back again. I am an IHG member, but am thinking about switching to becoming a Hilton member now. Thank you Homewood Suites for an amazing stay.

We stayed here for a family visit. The cleanliness, friendliness of the staff, the bar, the pool, everything was beyond expectations. It was also dog friendly and the cocktails were made from scratch and very tasty. I highly recommend staying here. We will be back.

Average Homewood facility with decent services. Rooms are fairly clean.

Internet service was lousy. It dropped my connection every 5 minutes. I received an email to pre- check in but was given a different room at arrival so that was a waste of time. Decent breakfast but limited selection. Coffee is good. Quieter than many other hotels in McAllen.

The Homewood Suites is clean and neat and located close to medical care, shopping and dining. The best feature of this motel was it's staff! Every need and question was answered quickly and courteously. Will plan to stay there again.

The place is really nice and modern, and the service is fantastic! They do have a evening social where they have tons of food, and if you're of age Wine and beer on tap. The only con is the wifi is so incredibly slow.

Laundry service is ok, messed up my order but did not charge due to mistake. Breakfast isn't great. Rooms are clean and well maintained.

Room is nice. The drinks in the evening were great. Free shuttle to places around McAllen. From my experience, I'd recommend it.

The maid service was great, every one was super friendly and helpful. Free breakfast every morning was great. My only complaint was they didn't have change available for the washing machines. I needed this as it was a two week stay.

The hotel is about 2 years old. The rooms are ok and personal is very kind. The only complain is the AC. It works ok but it cant reach the entire room.
